I am really excited about this program, one thing I think a lot of programs are lacking is effective progressions and from what I can see this program does just that. I have tried a lot of programs and gotten some great results but I am still lacking a little (probably in the nutrition side), I am also excited about the workouts as the videos I have seen demonstrate a pretty intense and awesome workout that fits with my favorite styles of training. I am a student graduating this spring. I need to and I am determined to lose the extra 40 pounds I have put on over the past two years due to stress from a family crisis. As a result my self esteem and my self confidence have plummeted.

Hey joel and arnel. First I want to congratulate you on the fantastic program I bet it wasn’t easy! With regards to the competition I don’t think I should win. I don’t deserve it compared to everyone else.

A few months ago, I went low carb. I went back to eating meat after being vegetarian/vegan for a number of years. I lost over 25 pounds! And I do feel better, and look better.. but I need to take things to the next level. I’ve tried a bunch of things, but nothing’s really worked. I’d love to have your system to break this plateau. Nothing clever to add; my life literally depends on losing 40 pounds. I have type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, insomnia, and was just put on c-pap because I stop breathing when I do finally sleep. I used to be fitness fanatic, but several surgeries in the past ten years have helped me gain weight I cannot seem to lose, even though I joined a gym and do not eat much (or, “bad” food). I’m 41 and need to turn things around so I can be there for my husband and children.

Hi! I am a 41 year old mother of 6. When I met and married my husband 23 years ago I weighed 145 and was wearing size 9 jeans. Today I weigh 287 and i’m only 5’4. My weight is never NOT on my mind. It affects every aspect of MY life. Sadly, it affects my family also. My children range from 22 down to 5. I still have a LONG way to go in raising them; not to mention I could be a grandmother soon. I always blamed my obesity on babies, that was safe. Now I am finished having babies and the truth is evident. I am very unhealthy and scared of that my children will be taking care of me some day. I want to be strong, proud, healthy and happy. I want my kids to see by my example that you can change the quality of your life by working hard and making right choices. I want to hit my 50’s running! Please help me. I have tried so many things all while knowing that it wasn’t the answer but not giving up hope. I still have hope and I know I’m not defeated until I quit trying.

I’ve been training in gyms using weights and resistance machines for the last 20 years, so I have a hands-on-experience of what it takes to get there….To be honest I am a bit skeptical about the 1000 cal challenge system, but I rather open-minded and I would like to give it a go to see if/how it works.

I have been exercising constantly (45min – 1hr, 6 days a week) for the last 4 months doing popular exercise programs available through B*achbody.com and I am so disappointed that I haven’t seen any results to speak of. Your emails have shown me that I am working out too long and not hard enough. I am obviously missing something. But, for the last of 10 years, I still haven’t found something that works.I have suddenly developed tail bone pain and knee issues, which I relate to being overweight. I don’t know where else to turn for help. I am at so tired of looking for solutions and buying programs that don’t work.

I was a size 4 until I started graduate school, which stressed me out, increased my weight, and threw off my hormones so bad that I am not able to conceive. I can’t wear the clothes I want to wear and I refuse to keep buying bigger clothes. It stops this year! I am done being fat. Your program looks exactly like what I need to finally help me. I gained 30 pounds working my butt off in pharmacy school. Since then have tried everything to lose weight and get in shape losing about 8 pounds over 3 months with diet and exercise. For the last year, nothing, I mean nothing has worked to help me lose even a pound!!! I don’t like feeling like the fat, depressed me who hates her clothes and stays inside when I could be out enjoying my life, all because I have body issues. Back in college, I’d let myself balloon to 135 pounds due to poor eating habits and excessive drinking. Thankfully I acquired mono, which started my on the process of losing 80 pounds and it was kept off for several years. After turning 30, my life slowed down and I’ve slowly gained 30 pounds back. At 34, I find it much harder to lose fat and gain muscle with a slower metabolism and less energy. With this program, I think I could find the blueprint to help me get back on track to having a six pack plus being happier and healthier.

Im 19 and i believe am abt 15 kgs overweight (~30lbs) and just looking for inspiration. have tried hydroxycut and bsn with little too no results and just losing motivation. i play quite a bit of basketball and been wanting too take it too the next level n go semi pro which i believe is reachable as quite a few friends have already made that leap. This program looks a bit different too the others n can be done anywhere so really want too try it out. Just did my ankle pretty bad too, doctor is thinking some sort of ligament damage but he is waiting for the mass swelling too go down before asking for a scan. so right now just looking at myself, feeling a bit down about everything and need a change

hi, i had to leave the army due to an injurie,with that i put on alot of fat around my midd section!i am finding it very hard to get rid of them last pounds of fat no matter what i try!! the 1000 calorie workout is just what i need to get to the end of my goal!!

I’ve really enjoyed the information you’ve sent out over the past few weeks…great stuff! I think it would definitely help me to get past some hurdles in my life right now. I’m a 46 year old wife, mother and grandma. My schedule is so tight and I’m tired of wasting my time on exercise programs that don’t work. I honestly wanted to see if I could actually get in the kind of shape where I could compete in fitness competition. Trying to get your body back..firm and tight isn’t going to be an easy thing to do. I think with your program I have a great shot at it!!!

Hi Guys, For years I have struggled with weight loss issues. I am 5’9″ 47 years old and 28% body fat I went from a 34″ waist to a 42″ waist I have tried fad diets like the cabbage soup diet and food substitute sachets . While they all worked in the short term the weight always came back and then ballooned some. Vince Del Monte then posted about how these things were increasing my heart rate to dangerous levels something that was confirmed by my heart rate monitor. I cut them out changed my eating habits and I am now training for my first full distance triathlon and I have watched this program through your excellent video presentations and must admit I am more inspired now to lose those extra pounds. I am doing cardio and a little weight training but cannot shift that belly fat at all. You guys are inspiring me to do more and the 1000 cardio workout seems to be my new path. Here’s hoping you can pick me as you guinea pig.

Hey Joel & Arnel, I am 52 years old, have been a certified personal trainer for 2 years now, run a women’s bootcamp program, run my own kickboxing program, and train ameteur kickboxers. I love to inspire others to be the best they can be. You both do this for us. I would love to combine your expertise and experience and library of exercises and nutritional guidance to my programs. I’m a mom of three and put on a lot of weight AFTER my pregnancies. I’ve been going to the gym 4 days a week for nearly 9 months and have lost only 15 lbs of the 55-60 I need to lose. I’ve changed what I eat, too, as my husband is a newly diagnosed diabetic. My legs are looking great and my butt, too, but I just can’t shake this darn belly…or should I say, the belly just won’t stop shaking. I’m carrying so much around my gut and it’s so frustrating.
I’d love to be able to use this program myself and then share with my husband who is also trying to lose weight as a battle against the diabetes.
I think this program would be a great “re”-jump start to my weight loss.

Hi Joel and Arnol, The reality is that everyone in my immediate family is over weight. The fact is that my family is predisposed to having diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure because my grandma has the previously mentioned ailments. So this program is something that can help my family is everyone did it together for greater and continued motivation.

I’m in the same position as many people of this world looking to lose weight in the fastest time possible. Having access to the 1000 calorie workouts would be hard work, but very time efficient and would help me achieve my ideal body. I struggle with nutrition so with the supplemental 1000 calorie diet plan I KNOW I will succeed. I am so sick of being overweight and not being comfortable in my own skin. I watch people lose weight with envy wishing that were me. I want to be healthy and lean enough so I can keep up with my kids. I want them to be able to look up to me and strive for a better, healthy lifestyle. If I had this program I could get myself in shape and inspire them with things like dedication, perseverance, and determination. It starts with me and I want to help myself so I can do more. I wouldn’t stop there, once I achieved my goal weight I would reach out to my friends and family because they would see the transformation I underwent and be inspired.
