This program is the perfect fit for me because I can easily adapt it into my hectic schedule between work, school, owning my own business, husband and children and just being a wife and mother with all of those duties. The thing that really gets me excited about this program is that I can get my husband to join in with me. He is very overweight and I worry about his having a long healthy life and making it to our 50th or even 75th wedding anniversary and not being around to see our two boys grow and one day have families of our own. Please help me to acheive these goals.

I’m taking a vacation to California over New Year’s and would love to be in the best shape of my life. I’m twenty years old and have been hitting the gym for about two and a half years now. I had always been slender but when I started to bulk up I realized just how good I could look. I’ve always had a six pack but I would love to take it from where it is to a level that demands attention. The problem is that working out has become monotonous for me and I lack the drive to take it to the next level. The 1,000 calorie challenge sounds intense as well as challenging which is exactly what I need. How would I know if this program is perfect for me if I don’t have it?

I’m almost scared to death by only thinking of the exercise routines you have developed. If this is accompanied with a structured , sensible diet it will kick my butt, that’s for sure !

I have been reading the updates and banking the knowledge. Three days ago I had surgery for double hernia. I am still very,very sore,however I am counting the days till I can get back to the gym. As I count the days(prolly 6-8 weeks) I am also planning my assault! I figure after that amount of time off,the first thing ill need to do is get rid of the “laziness” bodyfat I have put on! HI, I am a 48 yr, old female in terrible condition. I have always had issues with weight all of my life. I want to prove to myself and my family/friends that I don’t have to stay this way. I have been on a rollercoaster since my teenage years, it’s time to stop that rollercoaster and do something that may really work. I have been following the 1,000 calorie episodes and must say that I am very excited about the program. I have seen a lot of programs come and go. Some with decent results but never lasting, some that could work but would take forever to see minimal results. The combination of the diet and exercise makes complete sense. I think we’ve all known that all along but haven’t known how to put it all together in a comprehensive package. Thanks for doing that for us.

I have tried before and failed. I have tried before and failed. I have tried before and failed. I have tried before and failed….and yet I am still trying while I am learning about me and what works and what doesn’t. I work with others that can benefit from an education by Joel and Arnel after I succeed…bring it and let’s rock!

I have done p90x, body for life and power half hour. None of them are anywhere near as clear as your programs. The workouts are tough but not impossible and the interval training is great. The videos are very inspirational because you show a very controlled cadence that is easy to duplicate. Whether I win or not……….thank you.

This sounds great! Pushing my workouts to a new level to acheive the body I have hidden away is truely appealing. I have done the P90x, P90x+, Insanity, heart rate spike workouts, and have achieved a fitter body than I have had in years – however I cannot seem to get that ripped mid-section that would truely show the work I’ve done – the 1000 calorie workouts appears to be the answer from all that I’ve read.
Ultimately, I’m tired of hearing my wife is out of my league and want to do something to prove otherwise!

Hi Joel, the reason I would appreciate a copy of your program is because I don’t have much time to exercise because I have a very tight schedule. I wake up at 6 am, jog for about an hour and then I get ready to work. I work from 9 am to 6 pm and then I go to school from 7 to 10 pm. So as you can see I can’t follow a very long exercise routine. I am 25 years old and I don’t want to gain weight because I pass most of the day sat as much in school as in work. I would really like to try out your program in order to stay fit and healthy.

I’m intrested to hear about this program. My abdominals have always been my worst feature. I have recently lost some weight and do not have time to go to the gym due to work and home commitments.

Always looking for something that will motivate me to get me to the next level. I think your new program will accomplish this.

My husband and I are both fairly active, weight-lifting several times a week and trying to get in more cardio. However, we’ve had very little luck getting rid of the extra pounds and inches we’ve been carrying around even though we work out so regularly. We’re on the verge of starting a family, and I, for one, would like to be in the best shape I can be before I’m pregnant so that it will, hopefully, go smoothly as well as keep me motivated for after the pregnancy so that the infamous “baby-weight” doesn’t stick around for too long. Another advantage would be learning to keep ourselves healthy and being able to teach our children to stay healthy as well. Your program looks very exciting, very inspiring, and I would love to try it!

I never bought a weight-lifting magazine, although I do have subscriptions to a few health magazines, so I was not familiar with you guys. I listened to your audio and was impressed with your credentials. I read all of your strategies that you emailed, and your program really attracted me: starting slowly, burning a realistic 300 calories per beginning-workout, being able to have a cheat day, and staying on a 1000 calorie diet the other days, seemed like it would work for me. Your comment “we can get you there in AS LITTLE as four weeks” seemed realistic, because I am almost certain I will need a FEW weeks for each increased-caloric-progression!

I am not a “joiner” so I liked the idea that I only needed dumb-bells; since I have no work-out room, I liked that the exercises can be done in my own front room. I wondered what the price would be, assuming it would be high because of the professionals who perfected it. THEN you offered a free copy of the complete program! I usually do not participate in group think (ie: you tube, face book, etc) but couldn’t pass up this chance! So I’m pleading our case via e-mail (my husband, who will also do it). We are in our 70s. We’ll be glad to take before-mid-and-after photos to prove that your program works for everyone, any age, as long as they are willing to put in the daily effort and commitment.

I am quite fascinated with what I’ve read on your posts. I am 52 years old and have really let myself slide in the last ten years. I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2000, weighed 180 lbs., trained with weights several times a week and watched my diet pretty close. Today, I am smoking again, weigh 240 lbs. and a workout for me these days is a trip accross the room to the fridge. Anyway, I think your program might be just the right thing to get me motivated again. Who knows?

Coming from a fitness and nutrition background I seem to be stuck at 15% body fat and no matter what I do I can’t seem to get down to the 10% I have wanted to reach since 3 years ago.

Looking over your program I feel this could be the program that finally gets me over that 15% hump.

I am also getting into helping others with their fitness and nutrition goals and this would be a great addition to my arsenal to really make a difference in their life’s and make a dent in the over-weight problem we are experiencing.
