I am 43 yr. old high school science teacher as well as girl’s golf coach on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation in southwestern South Dakota. For the past ten years, I’ve been searching for training regiments that would not only be beneficial to me, but to my students as well. Native Americans are at a high risk for many health issues such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. The problem with obesity on the reservation is rampant, especially among the youth. My name is Jonathan, i’m a 15 year old boy, and i believe i really need your program. Last year i was very overweight(5’4, 180lbs), and i found Arnel’s 16week program, it did wonders to me(5’5, 135lbs), but lately I’ve had many family problems and a family loss. I’ve been slowly returning to my old self again.. I need this program to get me back on track, i cant go back to the overweight kid i was. I know i am capable of putting my body to the max, i am able to leave the gym knowing that i left every bit of energy that i had. When I was 18 my weight was 78 kg and my bodyfat was 8%! I was very athletic! I’m 27 now and weigh 100kg and am at 28.5% bodyfat!I gym 3-4 days a week but I’m unable to loose my weight at all! I’ve tried almost every diet!I struggle to move properly and my knees and ankles are taking real strain when I play sport! The 1000 calorie challenge is just for me! Burning 1000 calories a session will get me back on my feet in no time!

That’s an easy one! Getting lean efficiently. Unfortunately I can’t afford 2 hours a day doing cardio exercises. Getting my workout to boost my metabolism is a must for me, and I really think the 1000 thousand calorie challenge can be the way to get that.

I’m a 40 (something) busy Mum & I’ve struggled with losing my belly fat since before I had children!! At 5ft 3 and weighing 63kgs I’m not exactly obese but with a body fat content of 37% (mostly around my stomach) I need your program to help me lose this dangerous fat – my Mum, at the age of 52, had a quadruple heart by-pass and our body shapes are identical (slim legs, arms etc – huge gut!!) – I don’t want my life to take this path.
It’s the perfect plan for me as although I swim & eat a relatively healthy diet – chicken, fish, veggies, salads, oatmeal etc & I’m not a junk food or soda fan (except the odd choccy bar of course) I’ve never been able to lower my body fat significantly & although I know better, I’ve recently started substituting one meal for oatmeal to see if that works!!
I have to confess I’m a quick fix girl & if I don’t see instant results I lose motivation & slogging it out on the running machine just doesn’t work & let’s face it – it’s not fun! but trying your exercises & watching Arnel doing his in your videos made me giggle but more importantly made me realise that these are actually something I can do myself, at home, without spending valuable hours on end at a gym and yee ha I’m finally going to rid myself of my excess body fat – win/win for me!

I’ve been reading your emails daily and am very impressed with what I’m reading and seeing. I’m convinced that you could help both myself and my husband lose those unwanted pounds that are laborsome.
I’m 51 yrs. old and have the addtional weight gain that comes from being menopausal. I just seem to gain and lose the same 10 pounds over and over again. I’m just not winning. However, I DISPERATELY NEED HELP in losing 40-50lbs. so that I can not only have a better self image but get healing for my knees which cause me alot of pain and discomfort. I’ve come to recognize that my knees issues most likely are from being overweight therefore in order to heal my knees I REALLY MUST SHED THE UNWANTED POUNDS.
Both my husband and myself need a program that we can learn to use in our home as work keeps us very busy and we have no time to go that extra time it take to a gym. We have a Body Solid gym in our home as well as a tread mill. We just need that extra intruction from a trainer that you could provide for us with you expert instuctional videos and books. The way that you encourage and care would be the deal breaker for us both who NEED IT SO DESPERATELY!!

I am a 49 year old mom of two who works full time and has a very busy schedule. I’m about 30 lbs overweight and just not comfortable in my own skin… I always feel fat! I’ve done Curves and Rob Poulos’ Fat Burning Furnace with no success. I think my metabolism has slowed way down since I hit my forties. I am in good overall health, except for being overweight. I eat right … I am following Isabel’s Diet Solution program and I really love it. I am doing a combination of weight-training and cardio – alternating days and I’m maintaining but still not losing. Your program sounds like exactly what is needed to blast my metabolism up so that I can make a difference!
So I’m not someone with a ton of weight to lose, but I’ve never been someone who’s naturally thin either. I have to put some work into it. And I want what time and effort I put in to yield maximum results…enter your program and strategies! I am 3 months away from turning the big 60. As a kid I was an athelete and staying in shape was easy. But as we all know, getting older makes it harder to keep the muscles firm and the fat off, particularly around the middle–you know, the proverbial pudge! Hello… first of all I want to start with two words: THANK YOU…. all of you, because I know this is the result of a real hard team job.
I started training hard and uninterrupted around 18 months ago, first with Arnel’s arnel@iwantsixpackabs.com programs, then Vince’s No-Nonsense Muscle Building, Joel’s XtremeFatLossDiet, Romaniello’s Final Phase Fat Loss, and the last one Scott and Ryan’s TACFIT Commando, and I have to honestly say thanks to all of you, because all programs are amazing and I found, at this point, I’m able to combine all the knowledge I got and achieve great results. BUT….After all this time of hard study and training, I fell I really need a program like the 1,000 Calorie Challenge system wich push me to the next fitness level. I’m the kind of person who when it`s time to start something, I commit myself to the point that becomes an obsession to finish it and achieve my goal.

After listening to the updates and learning about all of the thought, effort and science involved in this program, I am excited to begin training and honestly cannot wait to say I burned 1,000 calories in ONE workout!! The caloric deficit concept is of course nothing new to weight loss, however it is what causes a lot of people many problems. The idea of having 1,000 calorie diet days combined with 1,000 calorie burn days and even getting to rest on certain days intrigues me… not to mention the excitement and passion you boys have for this process makes it impossible to resist!

I’ve been looking forward to all the reports that come in, and soaking in all the info.I’m really excited to see if I could actually burn a thousand calories! It seems like an unattainable goal to me,but would love to be able to be given a chance to prove everybody who says it’s not possible wrong.I think this would be the program that finally would get rid of all the goo that I won’t be sad to say goodbye too.
I had a seizure back in January that was attributed to my body not being able to process sugar the way it needs to and I have change my diet and exercise to get in better shape and I have lost 20 lbs but that was in the first 4 months and since then I have been at a stand still and I would really like to become extremely fit and healthy to prevent any more seizures.

Everything I have read, seen and heard about the 1000 calorie challenge has been truly motivational. It’s almost as if you had geared a program specifially for me. I’m a 22 year old guy who grew up as a fat kid. I set up a HOME GYM (which I know the program is specifically designed for) and I’ve dropped most of the weight that made me fat, but am still struggling with those last pounds around the midsection that prevent me from being ripped!
I crosstrain a few disciplines including kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, plyometrics, and circuit training. As a result, I have become fiter than I have ever been, but as is referenced in your samples, I do not yet “look” fit. The advantage however is that I don’t think I’ll need the 4 weeks of the first phase of the challenge before I start doing 1000 calorie workouts. I plan on starting on week 4, with 4 exercise giant sets. I can not wait to see what you guys have in store as your 1000 calorie workouts! I love challenging workouts and yours look like they’ll be the most challenging I’ve ever done!

I’m nearing 40. Am 5’9 and around 230lbs and just at the tail end of wrapping up my divorce. I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and heart disease. I’m about 60 to 70 lbs overweight and have been told by my doctor that I need to lose weight quick. I’ve been overweight my whole life and I’m tired of dieting and seeing very little results. I’ve been working out at the gym 4 to 6 days a week for the past 2 months but not seeing results. Overweight since chilldhood, discovered thyroid problems at the age of 28, had vertical band at that time. I’m 41, a mother of 4, I look 15 years younger than I am, my body is well toned, I have a healthy diet and exercise religiously. My lifestyle choice and has been since I was a teenager. I regularly train with my 19 and 17 year old sons, who also have a healthy attitude about exercising and eating.
I know most everyone who wants this program are wanting to get in shape…Yes it’s true, I’m already in shape, but still, amongst other reasons, a program that gives me more time with my kids any way you look at it has got to be good. I have been using the post pregnancy baby fat excuse now for over 4 years now. My daughter is all grown and has started preschool and I still look the same. To make things worse my boss at work said that I will never get back my pre pregnancy body; women who have had kids at my age (36) do not get that body back again. I want to get myself back to how I used to be and prove to everyone that it can be done, just need a little help from the experts.
I’ve been working out for the past 2 years… Actually I was before, but I had to stop for nearly 3 years because of injury then because playing badminton competitively was taking too much of my time! During those 3 years, a lot about training seems to have changed! Since I had lost a lot of muscle mass from not lifting any weights, I’ve reached a point where I decided to get back in shape. Using my knowledge and reading a lot about the new techniques, I managed to lose 30 lbs of fat and then gain around 10 lbs of muscle in 6 months. But since then, no matter what I do, I can’t break out of this “natural” plateau that I also had the first time I used to workout! If I try to take out my remaining “stubborn” fat, I end up losing muscle at the same time. On the other hand, if I want to gain more muscle, I just can’t find a way to do it without adding fat (that’s NOT an option!)! From what I’ve read, I feel like you guys really know your stuff and could help get the upper edge to lose the little fat I have left!
