*I really don’t want to have surgery*@ Kerin Rivera:

I’m 58 years old and just recently had my first annual physical in several years. The results were not encouraging and exercise and fitness were two of the urgent suggestions at the top of the list. Since that time, I have been eating better, but as far as a full program of nutrition and fitness, I’m clueless as to where I should start. It would be of great benefit to me to receive your program which is unaffordable to me at the moment. I’d also like to help out my niece who obesity is effecting her back and is in constant pain. I’m afraid she’ll only get worse. Please consider me for the free gift. It would be of great use to me and my loved ones.

Hiey Guys,
Thanks for all of the priceless advice that you have sent over the last several weeks. I really appreciate any wisdom you can share with me. I have a big problem, I am over 100lbs overweight and no amount of clean eating and working out is helping the scale to budge. I am at my wits end. I think your program could be the answer and I will dedicate myself 100% to your program. I am not afraid to work hard. My goal is to complete a sprint triathlon next year (not a big accomplishment but one I will be proud of nonetheless) but I need help. Thank you for considering me. -Sarah

I am nearing to my 38th birthday and I am quite out of shape.
Around here many people think that this should be normal since I am getting closer to 40. However I like reading about the kings and heroes of old and they were leading armies and fighting battles from the front! And well in shape!
So I refuse to go on like I am now and, judging by the information you have given me so far this program offers a scientific, proven, way to get to my goal.
This is why I want it.

Thank you. Alejandro.

At 71 years of age I have reached a plateau in my weight loss. I am 5’9″ and weigh 185 lbs. I was losing about 1-2 pounds every 2 weeks. Last winter I went to gym 4-5 days a week, sometimes 3-4 hrs doing Group Power, Group Cardio, yoga and countdown, while watching portion sizes, and lost 20 lbs. Then I stopped losing and gained about 4 lbs. back. It has been steady for the last couple months and can’t seem to get on the losing side again. I still watch what I eat, and work in yard, help people repair houses, replace roofs, etc., so I try to keep active. I still go to gym, but not as much. Help me be a loser.

I’m a self-coached age-grouper triathlete who lost 1/3 of my body weight 4 years ago and now competes in half iron events. While I’ve kept the weight I lost off, I feel like I’ve hit a plateau in my fitness – this could bust it for me.

Hello there,

I would love to be blessed with this amazing program for the following reasons: 1) I have just transitioned my life from a stock broker and my husband and I owning our own business to be being a stay-at-home mom and my husband a full time medical student 2) We had a baby about two years ago and I have succeeded in not only losing all the baby weight, but also lowering my body fat and increasing my lean body mass as on my own through alternating between aerobic/anearobic strength training and strethching each day 3) I have a set goal to go from my current 140 and 31% body fat to 120 and 20% body fat by October 1, 2011 4) I believe this program is unique and different and would help me propel on to this fitness level and finally 5) I would love to be able to bless others through becoming a professional fitness trainer and I feel this information combined with other techniques I have learned would be just what I need to encourage and motivate my future clients.

Thank you for your consideration,
Carmen K. Maendel

Hi Joel and Arnel,

I am a personal trainer, but I don’t feel like I’m as fit as I could be. I love trying new exercise programs so I’ve done a whole bunch, but I’d really like to get my hands on something that burns as many calories as your program. I’m entirely up for the challenge.

Thanks,
Morgan

I was an avid P90X user and cut 5lbs of fat and added 10lbs of muscle (i was a skinny guy) while I was doing the program. However, I was forced to stop due to breaking my finger playing football. That was 2.5 months ago. I have yet to get back into working out and unfortunately have lost most of my muscle and gained a few pounds of fat back. The thought of starting P90X over again is dreadful. I need a new, different program to help motivate me get to a better physique. I’m confident your program could top the results of P90X and if so, I will tell everyone I know!

@ Joel Marion:
I just turned 58 (yesterday) and am finding it extremely difficult to lose weight. I have some health issues and keeping active is critical for me at this stage. I have tried a lot of different programs and I am looking for something that will give me maximum results. This sounds like the program for me.

Thanks!

I am 46 years old and had a heart attack about 8 months ago. Since then I have changed my diet and been working out. I have lost @ 60 pounds and gone from a size 38 pants to a loose 32. The main things I try to stay away from are fat and sodium. I have an additional 10 pounds I cannot seem to loose. I feel this program will help me get past that last 10 pounds. I also feel with this program I can finally get those 6-pack abs I have wanted all my life. I would also like to share it with my wife who is struggling with her weight and I feel at her age and weight she is a prime target for diabetes.

Joel and Arnel,

Like some people on these posts, I’ve been overweight a majority of my life. I found myself at 276 pounds as a senior in high school with a 46-inch waist. People weren’t as kind then as they are to me now because luckily I went to college, graduated and in between managed to lose almost 50 pounds and 8 inches! Though I’ve made it over a huge hurdle, I find myself stuck not being to lose any more weight.

I’ve found myself needing to go the gym but not really knowing what to do. I read all of your updates prior to this one and for the information very intriguing. It seems like a program that knows what it says and more importantly, is easy for me to understand. I’ve reached a point in my life where I don’t want o be that fat guy anymore. I want to be healthy guy that doesn’t feel self-conscious about their weight. I want to be the guy with the muscular physique and ripped abs.

Right now at 24, I’m back in school and I have the desire, will, and strength to change myself for the better. I promise if I’m given one of the free copies, I will read every piece of material, follow every one of the instructions and start to change my life for the better.

Thank you guys, you really have inspired me and best wishes to you.

Vince

Hi

I am 60 next year and weigh too much at jut over 100kgm. Whatever I do seems to keep me at that weight plus a bit then down a bit, averaging out at 100kgm.

The nurse at my local surgery wants me to lose weight for the sake of my health; I want to lose weight and to get fitter to enjoy life at this stage of my life.

I hope that you will consider me for this opportunity

yours

Martin

PS I seem to be having problems in submitting this so sorry if it posts more than once!

I have followed Arnel’s workout routines and diet info in the past and had achieved significant results. But after having moved back to my home country, I have faulted and committed all the mistakes that I should not have. Going thru your emails and your blogs, I liken the fact that you’ll have come up with comprehensive details. I have already started implementing your suggestions and it could be an advantage if I get a copy of your 1000 Calorie challenge System.

I’ve fought being fat/chubby/overweight, even during the four years I spent in the armed forces. I’ve tried all kinds of diets and gadgets, belonged to gyms, most of them expensive. My reason for wanting THIS system is simple. I WANT my health/life back. I just (celebrated?) my 62nd birthday and I’m a mess. I’m 65 lbs overweight, on multiple medications for high blood pressure, I have metabolic syndrome (pre diabetic) and could possibly have kidney disease. I WANT/NEED to lose weight and get to a healthy lifestyle. Also, just had my 38th wedding anniversary and want to stick around for my life partner. This is something we could do together. thanks, CF

The 1,000 Calorie Challenge System is perfect for me because I am at the point in my life that I’m tired of being uncomfortable in my body and I am determined to do something about it. I’ve been in the search of a no gimmick program that will give me the results I want and deserve. Over the past 6 months I’ve changed my eating habits and have incorporated working out into my routine but feel my workouts are not effective and are not giving me the results I want. Yes, I’ve lost a few pounds but my body is no where near being in the shape I want it to be. I’ve tried workout DVD’s, I’ve read books and honestly I’m feeling lost in a sea of ineffective workouts! I’m a 37 year old single Mother of 2 and I don’t have the option of working out in a gym, I need a program that I can do at home that is effective and no BS! After reading each of your updates I am certain your program is just what I’ve been looking for. I know I have the drive to get the results I want, the dedication to push thru each week, and the determination to have the body I know is hiding underneath this layer of fat…I just need access to your program to help me get there!

My name is Tom, and I am 68 years old. Throughout my life, I have worked a variation of the same routine which has spanned well over 50 years. Now, the age factor, gravity, a lower metabolism and on it goes have taken their toll. Never the less, I continue to try but the results are sadly lacking.
With what lettle time there is left for me, I now concentrate on quality more than ever before. Additionally, I’m trying like crazy to pass quality concepts on to my grandchildren. My difficulity is that my routine lacks and therefore so will anything I pass on. So, I’d like to be in a position to not only use your concepts but insure the future of those behind me.
Many thanks for listening.
Tom…

I need this program because people have been calling me “Fat Matt”. My name’s not even Matt, so you know it has to be bad. Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

Jesse (aka Fat Matt)

hai,

I am 30 years old, single and weight about 300 pounds…yes thats it, im fat!! I was fat at school, I was fat at college and you guest it…Im still fat now. I live in a small studio appartement in france and everyday I tell myself to start dieting and do lots of workout…usually more than often at the end of the week, I start to eat like a crazy person. Literally i’ve tried everything from lowering my carbs intake to pilates exercise…but nothing seems to burn these excess fat.
Then i recieved a newsletter from joel & arnel about this kick ass program called the 1000 calorie challenge and to be franck, i was extremely amazed and very excited to try it out. I love the fact that they put away a program that not only works the muscle but also helps with your diet along the way. Furthermore you can see results in just weeks.
I hope I can try this program out because I really think that it can do wonders for me.

I would LOVE to receive the 1000 Calorie Challenge! Over the past year I’ve gone from an obese couch potato to lose almost 60 lbs and regain some self-esteem and vitality that’s been missing for years. I believe the 1000 Calorie Challenge will help me lose those last 20lbs and push me outside my current comfort zone to discover new levels of fitness I haven’t been able to reach yet (the workouts look extremely challenging and to master them would be enpowering!). I’m also hoping to pay it forward once I reach my goals, helping to teach and inspire other women to lose weight and discover their own inner strength by becoming a personal trainer. I’d love to be able to learn from your years of experience. You guys are awesome! Thanks.

I am 50 years old and almost 100 pounds overweight. I have struggled with my weight for almost all of my life. In 2004/2005 I lost weight and got down to 165 lbs. Maintaining my weight loss was going well when I began having severe headaches; pain in my back, arms and legs; numbness in my arms, hands and legs. After several MRIs I was told that not only did I have a Chari malformation, but I had bulging discs in my spine. I was put on heavy medications two of which promoted weight gain. Of course I gained weight and after over a year decided to discontinue the medication because it not only caused weight gain, I also had to write everything down I wanted to remember because it caused memory loss and my hands and feet began to swell. At 243 lbs. I have struggled to loss the weight I gained. I have recently been diagnosed with two cysts on my left kidney (I am still waiting to find out if it is cancer) and that my back problems are degenerative. I need to loss the excess weight now more than ever. If I am going to have any type of quality of life I have to get down to the proper weight for my height. I believe that your 1,000 Calorie Challenge may be exactly what I need to put me on the road to a better quality of life.

I am old, overweight and feel broken down. I have get a massage monthly to relieve the painful pressure points. I am told that my body is out of balance. I don’t know what that means. I just know I need help. I need a simple, easy to follow program to get back on track. Your program looks like something I can use.

For years my metabolism has been super slow – getting worse as I moved into my 50’s. With a 10-year old son, I needed to make some changes so I could play and keep up with him, so I have been working with various lifestyle changing programs and feel that I need this to really kick my metabolism into high gear.
I have lost about 15 lbs over the past 2 months but that’s not enough – I am at a level where I can power walk 10K and lift weights 3X per week so I need a power program to really take me to the next level.

Thanks,
Andrew

Joel, I’m a 43 year old father of 3 boys getting ready to retire after 20 years as a pilot for the US Navy. Before marriage and kids, I ran 5Ks and participated in triathlons. Since then, I have had multiple surgeries on my knees and during down time, hectic work schedule, deployments etc, I have failed to keep my fitness goals. My wife is a professional photographer and after a recent family vacation I was aghast to see myself in a photo at 200 lbs. Even her best photo-shopping didn’t help me out. I have tried to stick to a diet/exercise routine and worked myself down to 185 lbs a few times but that stinking belly fat just doesn’t go away. A few weeks ago I started reading your blog and am down to 189 lbs. I don’t want to get stuck again and know that unless I commit to a step by step program and track my day to day progress I will likely fail. I want to get down to 175 and stay there for good. I don’t always have access to a gym, so your program may be my only hope. I believe the 1000 Calorie Challenge can get me there and I am up for the challenge. PLEASE, give me a shot at the free program and a chance to stand next to my beautiful wife and kids in the next family vacation photo and sport my six-pack abs. Thanks, Chris
