Last year I realized I was going through a depression as the result of total depletion: I took care of my dying mom while I was pregnant. I had my daughter 2 days after my mom died and really didn’t have the option to stop everything and properly grieve for my mom. I will be 38 next month and I want to do something for ME for a change. I absolutely love my family, but I’ve taken care of everyone except me and that’s changing today! this program is perfect for me because I am currently a full time student in college. I have enough stressors with tests and exams and homework and practices. Having a program that is laid out for will make it that much easier for me to stick with it, follow it and be successful at it. I have tried just about everything you can think of to lose weight. I need something that will challenge me in a way that i will never get bored. I believe taht this program is what I need.

I’ve always been very sceptic about all the super fast body transformation programs. Few years ago I got my hands on “Body for Life” book and this is when my opinion changed. I figured out that with proper approach it can actually work. What I liked about it is the scientific approach to the problem. At that time I still had only few pounds extra so I didn’t jump on the wagon but I knew that if I ever do – I would take this is kind of approach.

Now, few years later, I have to lose 20 pounds at least and I found about the “1000 calorie challenge”. It seems to be way better than “Body for Life” but similarly based on scientific facts. I like the extensive research and experience of Arnel and Joel. I like realistic approach – fact is that most of the people that need to lose weight are not in shape to work out hard from the start. I already started with few Arnel’s exercises I found on the net. Now it’s time get it organized and “1000 calorie challenge” seems to be just right for me.

Well its time for change for me. I need a new drive and theis program looks like one that would give the new start I need. Honestly I wasn’t able to read etire articles, but what I did read, this program looks fantastic in terms to helping jump start my weight and correct the imbalances I have aquired the last year. Although I am lifting and doing cardio, I definately need a change. I am 53 and I what to prove to myself that I am not stuck with this weight and I can look awesome at this age. I also forgot to mention for all of us who are suffering from Low Thyroid(Hypothyroidism) or having no Thyroid at all. I eat very healthy. I eat organic foods and I watch my calorie and fat intake. I feel like I am fighting a loosing battle everyday. Its very depressing. Buring a 1000 calories aday, now that would win the battle!

I’ve just recently discovered your e-mails and program. I’m intrigued and excited to take your 1000 Calorie Challenge. I’m 46 and I have quite a few pounds to lose. I’ve made up my mind to get in shape for good but I need a tangible ‘jump start’ that will show me results quickly to keep me enouraged. Too often, I give up because I can’t see the results. I’ve been doing Zumba classes and love it but it’s hard to get there with my schedule. I need something that will guide me in nutrition and excercise at home. Your program makes sense. It seems less tedious to follow and you guys are fun to watch! Hence you provide motivation. Help me reach my goals of being slim, fit and healthy at 47. It is TIME for CHANGE in my life! I just lost my job, and am about to lose my husband and my home. I need to lose about 50 lbs……The time is right. Without the stress of my old job i will be able to focus on ME. Then soon, i will have a whole new lease on life…..a new ME, a new job opportunity, possibly a new relationship. I am EXCITED. At 43, the fat build up around the mid section is the hardest to get rid of. I would like to try this program and see if I can finally get the six pack back.

I have been trying to lose weight for years and have only succeeded in putting on more. A few months ago, I took my body measurements and was shocked to notice that despite all my efforts, I have actually gained about of two inches around my middle. I was really disheartened. I am keen to lose weight and would love to try this out, to find something that actually works. When it comes to things to do with luck, I always end up in the wrong queue. So, I hope this is the one time that the story will be different.

This program is very exciting! I’ve used products from both Joel and Arnel and loved them both so having the two of them together in one package is perfect. I’m 39 and have been working out for years, but have really fallen off the wagon as far as fitness goes. I need something motivating to get, and KEEP me going. This type of challenge is exactly that. I’m one who has been skeptical of the ability to burn 1000 calories in a workout, but from the looks of things, it may actually be possible, with hard work. I’d love to see how I stack up against something like this, and brag to my friends about the accomplishment that none of them would even try to attempt.

As a 50 year old with a family history of high blood pressure and diabetes, I would out this program to great use. I have always been active and tried to keep myself in great shape but then came life as a father of two (17 and 8 years old). As I constantly made sure they were at their activities and working, I began to notice how out of shape I was getting.

Then my doctor told me I really needed to get back to regular exercise so I join the Y but I cannot always make the time to go train. I have enjoyed the updates I received on this program and have used the workouts and find them to be the challenge I need. They solve the “time” issue. This program has inspired me to get in the best shape of my life and pursue my Personal Trainer certification and help other be I the best shape of their lives!

I looked in the mirror I saw what I was becoming and I know if things do not change, I will NOT be around to see my children grow up, go to college, get married and bless me with grandchildren! I vowed on my wedding day “until death do us part,” but I have no desire to leave my wife any time soon. I truly believe the 1,000 Calorie Workout program is what I need. I believe a transformation of the body comes from transformation of the mind.

Ever since my twenties, I have struggled with 10-15 pounds. I always told myself that if I really wanted to lose it, I could. I just wasn’t willing to do what it took. I learned to live with it. When I hit 41 I started gaining weight more easily. I was running two teenagers around, I got a new job, and didn’t have the time to stick to my exercise program. I was also grabbing more meals on the go. I need a program that gives me clear guidelines and allows me to plan ahead for my meals (meals that my family can eat too), but doesn’t require too much prep time. I need workouts that are quick and effective. My fitness level is not what it used to be, so I need to start at almost a beginner level and work my way back up. This program is just what I need. It sounds like it will address all the areas where I need help.

To tell you the truth I needed this 5 years ago lol, and now I really need it. I could always start a fitness routine but that would only last for 2 weeks, if that. Hey guys! I’m a 40 year old homeschooling Mom of two teens and a pre-schooler! PHEW! I am going through a divorce (representing myself) as I have been left by my abusive husband (who makes 6 figures)…I am poor poor poor…but you know what? I started working out when he cheated on me 2 years ago….have lost 60 pounds, joined roller derby, and training for a road race (first one since high school track)—-I need a new workout…have completed (dare I say) P90X and looking to break a plateau! Help me keep my spirits HIGH! Help me reach my goal, so I can finish my personal trainer cert. and be a poster Mom for ya!!!!!

Hi Joel,

I feel the workout will be ideal for my lifestyle. As a pilot, I am living half of my life in hotels and at airports. The training facilities in these places vary from excelent to non-existant. Therefore, a workout you can do with little to no equipment is necessary. Also, my diet, when at work, is a real challenge. Having the ability to burn calories efficiently and keep my metabolism in high gear will not only help in my weight control program, but help keep my at peak performance in the cockpit. At age 55, I just became a grandparent and want to spend many years playing with my grandchildren. I believe this workowhout will provide the energy, muscle, and endurance to keep up and heck, who knows, maybe out last and out play my grandchildren. It seems like life gets busier each year and time is of the essence! Having a workout that can be completed in a short period of time with the desired results is exactly what I need. I believe the 1,000 Calorie Challenge is it. Thanks for all you do!

I have been working out for years and have always fallen just short of my fitness goals no matter how much effort I give. Last year i gained over 20 pounds from some stressful events in my life and many bad choices Now I work too many hours to work out 2 hours a day but I still need to find a way to keep working toward my goals. As a single mother with 2 boys in football and 60+ hours a week spent working, a program with high intensity and great results in a few hours a week is exactly what I need to maintain my health and finally reach my fitness goals. I am turning 41 next month. I am in great shape for my age and work hard to keep it that way. As a single mom of two my time is very limited for long workouts with long casrio sessions then weights-each day one of these two elements suffers because of my time constraints. i am 28 years old guy. me and my family had to go through a lot of hardship due to my substance abuse. since past 4 months i have decided to get back to living and enjoying my life by getting clean. i have quit smoking and drinking, both of which had been the toughest thing for me to do. i want to get my health back to a perfect condition.emotionally as well as physically. it was one of my dreams to have a perfect body with six pack and nicely defined whole body. i want to give my best to achieve these results.

I have been trying for years. I am a point I feel I may never be able to reach a healthy weight, be able to walk without losing my breath or enjoy life. Lately I have just been gaining weight even when I try to lose weight nothing seems to happen. I was given your website to look at & have been trying to follow it. Hey Joel, I am from the United Arab Emirates. I would love to have this priceless program not just for me but also for my mother. We are both over-weight and have been struggling for years. I train almost everyday recently and I am not getting the results that I would like. I am willing to work harder to get the results but I want to do it the right way.
