I have just recently started an exercise program. I am diabetic and 57 years old. I now ride my bike usually 1 1/2 miles daily. I have ridden it several times up to six miles. I have completely elimiiinated my evening dose of insulin, and cut my morning dose to less than half. I have also started eating healthier. I have lost about 14lbs, and believe your advice would be a boon to help me do even better. The other programs I received from you were very helpful. Thank you for helping your fellow man.

So excited for the potential. I am a 44 year old mom of 3. I have been running and wt training since I was 30, but plantar fasciitis threw me for a loop( 2 years). That threw my knees off, my body off and I haven’t been able to get back on track…. a new game plan would be awesome to shed these 35 lbs of ” chains” that keep dragging me down!

I am 45 years old father of more than 5 less then 10. I have in my family heart disease, C word, Cholesterol (the type that includes terrible body aches) I weigh more than 135 kgs I suffer from extreme pain in my right knee. I have started throwing stones however, in the off season now, supper high crystalline.

There are some Dr.s who say that this is Genetic I do not KNOW I am A Lab Tech, Learned herbal healing. I swam the San Diego Bay.

I need to get a handle…You can help I have seen and studied what you have written. Also, Jon Benson and Dr Kareem. Quarto R, is something intense and can be for me. Especially, slowly at first to really build into it.

Hi Joel,
I am a 39 yr old mom of two and have always been athletic and still am to this day, however, I am constantly looking for more and more ways to push myself out of my comfort zone. I know that this program would do that for me. It’s not about running a mile, it’s about pushing yourself and your body to incredible “I didn’t think I could do that” limits. I currently teach a women’s fitness boot camp style of class and I see how easily they give up when doing an exercise or when the countdown has begun, everyone has their personal limits, I understand that, but sometimes you don’t know what your limits are until you try. Now that’s not the main reason as to why I should win but it is mainly to inspire & motivate the people around me that are overweight. I have tried the 600cal workout you have already given out and would love to take the workouts to the next level and exceed the 1000cal per workout. I am a working father that time and weight has caught up to. The 600cal workout is a start but I am energized and looking for that extra kick. The information provided so far is good, but I would like to see the entire workout system and diet plan.

Hey! I have been working out for the last month, and I have been seeing small… more like tiny changes in my physique. I have been trying to implement everything that I have learned so far, and boy have you guys been kicking butt! My husband is very fit, so he is my inspiration. But my motivation to work even harder is that he gets back home from deployment in exactly… give me a second… a month and three days. I think the hardest part of my transformation is that I’m 5’2″ and workouts that claim to burn so many calories, but they are for the average sized person. Most (average) people dont know how hard it is to lose weight when you are so tiny to begin with. 20 minutes on the elliptical almost sprinting, I only burn about 150 calories. Talk about a waste of time! I really believe that the 1000 calories challenge workout will be my greatest asset in my transformation… and I’m already used to 1000 calorie diets, so bring it on!

I need this now because I’ve been working out and watching my diet but I’m stuck! I’ve lost 5 lbs. but I need to lose more to get into ultimate shape. My workouts are ok but stale so I need something to kick it up a notch or two. I’ve got the motivation but I just need a good plan!

My reason for applying for this prize is that I am 65 years of age and not the healthiest of people. I take 19 pills at night and 16 in the morning. Joel and Arnel: I am a 53 year old woman who, about 10 years ago, decided life wasn’t worth living and started to eat and drink my way to an early grave– I just went through my second divorce, my father passed away and I lost my job-all within a matter of two weeks. It was more than I could emotionally handle and I slipped into depression and started to find comfort in food. I went from a size 4 to a size 16 in two years. Hi guys, I found you through a link from Isabel’s Diet Solution
Programme which I stumbled across a few weeks ago. I am 38
and all my live I have tried to look after my health, eat well and
exercise moderately as 3 (parent and 2 siblings) out of my
immediate family of 5 suffer with heart problems, diabetes and
obesity. For the past 8 years I have walked 2 – 3 times a day
averaging 12km with my boxer, however he is getting on now
and has health/joint problems, we still go for 2 – 3 walks a day,
however we only cover 2 -3 km now and it takes the same
length of time, sometimes even longer as we have to stop for
rests. I really want to regain my fitness and loose some of the
weight I put on over the last year or so but this is difficult as I
work full time and I will NOT consider reducing my old pal’s
walk time as he looks forward to it so much. Therefore I believe
that your exercise system would be just right for me –
condensed. I am amazed at how practical and effective Isabel’s
programme is and as she recommend you guys I can only
assume that both your programmes would work in conjunction
with each other to give great results.

I name is Eva & 41 years old. ALL of my life people have made fun of how I am shaped (little on top & BIG on bottom) . I have tried diet after diet , have been small a couple of times in my life , only to get huge AGAIN & struggle AGAIN . I never have acheieved beautiful legs or abs . Did have pretty arms & back once or twice , but that took so much work & time it was impossible to keep . My clothes have not fit right in a long time . I’ve learned a lot from the videos over the past 3-weeks. Beside the point that it’s fun to watch Arnel hopping all over the place — and that it seems like Joel only owns one shirt — I really looked forward to watching them, and I’m really inspired to get started. 10-plus years of working long days online has helped add about 30 lbs that shouldn’t be there. I’ve tried the slow and steady approach to fat-loss, but at 43, I still have the energy to go full-steam — which is why I really like the 1,000 Calorie Challenge – and really looking forward to getting started.

for 2 years I have unsuccessfully tried to lose and keep off 20 pounds by various workouts::aerobic,running, free weights, dumbells, mixed exercise programs, and even kettlebell workouts. For health as well as sports performance in tennis-my favorite- I need to drop 20 pounds and keep it off. I tried your introductory program and found it doable in 50 minutes and I felt great after. The 2pound weight loss could have been water and luck- I would really like to add the diet and the progression that you talk about.

I am over 73 now & came to realise years ago that ‘diets’ dont work, only yoyo you up & down, and exercise alone doesnt help. With walking and research into good nutrition I have lost quite a bit over 2 or 3 years without leaving flab, but there is much more to lose especially in particular areas. What I have gleaned from your reports & updates is, that the key is to combine ‘planned’ nutritional eating (the right foods at the right time) & exercise in a way to compliment the end result, not just eat nutritionally and do a bit of exercise because its the right thing to do.
