I believe that this program will benefit me in so many ways but the main one being, finally getting back into shape. My fiance and I were both laid off two years ago and I have been in a slump. This slump has caused me to gain over one hundred twenty pounds. I have had sole custody of my son since he was born and now that he is at the age of six and playing sports I want to be able to be around long term for him not to mention to be able to practice with him. I am tired of being a fat blob and want my energy back. I have started changing my diet and making some weights out of some crude materials so that I can start obtaining my goal to be back at two hundred pounds. This program would mean gaining back control of my life and would ensure that I am here for my son. The 1000 calorie program is more than a program it is the way to get my life back. Joel, I have been working with a trainer for 6 months, 3 days a week, and on my own for 3 other days, doing cardio and weights. I have not lost a pound! I went to my doctor about metabolism, and was informed, after many tests, that I have a fatty liver that is working overtime, therefore I am not losing body fat. I am working with a dietician at UCLA, with a low fat diet. Doctors tell me that my liver will recover but it will take time. I am 56 years old and I need your help & advice to lose weight! Thanks!

As I tell those around me, I’m the fittest, fattest person you’ll ever meet. According to the medical definition, I am clinically obese. However, I retain my “natural athleticism” – able to run a few miles not having worked out for weeks. Can mount a bicycle for the first time in months and ride 30, 50, 75+ miles in a single setting. Enjoy pickup games of soccer and rugby. Currently enrolled in karate. Yet my waist measurement is equal to my age (41 yrs this year). My diet is s*^@. I just a finished a piece of cake and am drinking a Coke while writing this. Your food plans will be the greatest aid to me.

From the updates you’ve provided, it seems that I’ll begin to notice significant body changes in a few weeks. This will no doubt motivate me to exercise more regularly and, while doing so, enjoy the planned variety. As you well know, early success combined, fun, and your strategic set manipulation, will result in even greater success – workout after workout, week after week.

I’m familiar with a 1,000 calorie workout. I know how good it feels when I’m done with one. I also know how hard it is for me to start that workout – a 90-minute bike ride to burn those calories. G’day from Australia…thanks for your awesome inspiration info so far…basically I WANT to lose at least 40kg…I know the right and wrong foods to eat. I know to eat 5 small meals per day combined with protein & I know energy in energy out. BUT I desperately need a fitness programme so I can see results and see them fast for my motivation then stays intact and I reach that goal and maintain for the rest of my life :-)

HI! I need a copy of your 1,000 Calorie Challenge stat!!! I entered a weight loss contest in Rocky Mountain House Alberta with 23 others. Our Biggest Loser competition runs from September 1 to December 15 and the person who loses the greatest percentage of weight wins the grand prize of everyone else’s entrance fee, which is a grand total of $2300!!! I started regular exercise on September 1 for almost the first time in my life and I am super excited to have lost almost 10 pounds already but I still have at least 15 to go! I am 24 years old of age, I have been following your reports really closely!
I believe or KNOW that your programme is perfect for me simply because I am DEFINITLY up for the CHALLENGE..I know it will be hardwork but i am fully DETERMINED to go hardout on the programme. I have been big my whole life. I weigh at 150kgs which is quiet heavy! I have tried everything out there from supplements, diets, and even joining the gym, and still no change! I dont know why! For the past four years I
have struggled with my appearance and self confidence, as a dancer I face beautiful bodies every step I take;finding myself unfit in the dance world. I have been dancing for 8 years and beginning to see the utmost importance that a toned and well maintained body is for one such as myself. Also, I’m a senior in high school; anxiously awaiting my graduation and prom! Everyone knows that people, the worst of all being teenage girls and rumors. Unfortunately through this struggle to fit in around the studio as well as my high school I have recently, tested anorexia as well as bhelimacy;however I LOVE food and both options are too much of a hassle. Since dance is my passion, working out is almost second nature to me. For me my fitness is the number one thing preventing me from achieving my goal both in dance and my appearance! I’m sick of this being the brutally honest truth! My parents are overwieght and i am starring to worry about them. I love them so much and would hate to see them have any health complications in the future because they are overwieght. I have tried to get them to lose wieght, but the programs they try never give them any results and discourages them from trying to lose wieght. I am very conscerned with their health and would love to see them get into shape!

I will keep it simple. I am a a bad ass who has gotten fat. I weigh 285lbs at 6 foot 3 inches tall. It kills me to be talking about the glory days at 34. I should still be living the glory! I have the discipline but I lack the knowledge and don’t have a plan to get myself where I NEED to be physically. I don’t buy into hype, I buy into results, period! Brothers, I know you are the real deal. Get me those tools and I will do the rest, no excuses.

I am 23 years and im around 5’0 , i have manage to gain 50 lbs over the years through depression and laziness. I am a simple person but it seems that i lack to make someone out of myself, having goals and been driven by them. For the first time, i really decided to be serious and i have already started modifying my eating habits. I am also an impatient person but i am ready to work hard to get results…i have even tried the sample 600 calorie work out this week and my whole body is sore and i feel like i am on the right path. Hi I am recovering from a recent but long awaited knee surgery were i had my ACL reconstructed and some removal of my miniscus, i have been working hard in the early stages of recovery doing all my exercises and just started walking again a couple of weeks ago. Oh and i am a 27 year old heavy duty mechanic from a small Island in B.C. on the coast of Canada. I have been doing squats and did a 5km walk for the first time yesterday and have tried some of the exercises from the 600 cal workout and plan to do the full thing tomorrow keeping in mind my body and being careful as not to hurt my knee… i would love to be able to try the full program and am more than convinced to buy it but for the first time in my life am having trouble with $ (say no more lol) And think it would suit myself for strengthening my knee as well as the rest of my body and the much needed lbs to drop for a six pack that i have only ever dreamed about and now have the time to work on!!!

Joel, I have been following your 1000 calorie updates and believe this is something i can get my body around. I am currently 225 lb at 36 years old. I seriously need to loose some weight. I have been active but this is defiantly going to be a challenge for me. I do some hiking and mild weight lifting but have recently decided to get serious on the subject of my weight. My wife and 14 mo son depend on me and I so much want to show them that I will be around for a long time. You system will help me do that so plz help me!

I am 23 years old and I was in not at all in good shape 2 years back when I was 80 kgs. I have worked very hard and exercised at home without guidance from anyone. After 1 year of hard work I came down to 66kgs and got a 6 pack! Many of the guys here were inspired by me. Since then I have put on lean muscle and just a very little fat. I am 73kgs, still with a 6 pack but I want to define it more and lose some more fat which will require a very intense training schedule. This is why I think that this program will be beneficial for me. Thanks.

I’m young (21), and have tried and tried again to move those kilos that I believe will one day kill me. Your program makes so much sense, and the workouts look kickass. I’d love to one day be as fit as the blokes who came up with this program, and in turn teach others.

I have been trying excercise programs for years now. I am 21 years old and there are people that are over the age of 50 that are in much better shape than me. All the programs that I have tried work at the beginning, but they don’t work the “after-brurn”, and I believe that’s why they stop working after the first few weeks. I am in desperate need of a way to get in better shape, because I am pre-diabetic, have high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. I want to live long enough to see my grandchildren.

A 31 years old guy, trying to reduce bodyfat for years and still stuck with a 30% bodyfat. Already going to the office by bicycle (almost daily) lifting wights ( by manuals of various sources), joined gyms for serious lifting. But, honestly I quit. Need a real effective guidance to lead me to a better health. And in days I have to be ready to read news in national television. It would be a blessing for me to have a proper workout instruction which can lead me to a better posture. Not wanting to stick to hereditary diseases such as diabetic, high blood pressure, and other possible disadvantages in an ever changing world. I need the 1000 calorie challenge to ensure my future.

I am a 21 year old college student, working nearly full time and going to school full time. I’ve gained quite a bit of weight in my stomach over the past few years because of college, and I want you to prove to me that I can lose those pounds that I have around my waist. I work out every once in a while when I can, but no matter how well I eat or how much time I have to work out, I can’t get rid of those few pounds. I want to see your 1000 calorie challenge work! And not work to lose a ton of pounds, but to lose those last few pounds so I can get that six pack I’ve always wanted!

I live in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and I practiced jiu-jitsu for all of my life. I stopped my train for about 7 years and get a lot of fat. I got back to gym (boxe and Jiu-Jitsu) for 7 months and i get some results in that but since i try your advices, i am really surprised about the results. First, i do all my exercises with a polar and nothing, like boxe or Jiu-jitsu can burn more fat than your routines. I feel like a white belt in my old knowledge because after your exercises routine, it is better to forget about all of the other exercises. I could burn 650 cal in 45 minutes. Normally i burn 300 to 400 in one hour of hard train! No one tell me this, i could see in my Polar! I always listen a lot about many kinds of workout but no one can burn so many calories in 50 minutes and more, you really get ready for any other exercise. Today i completed about 4 days with your exercise and everyone can see the results! I don t have much time to train that is why this exercises are so perfect to me. Thanks
