Dear Arnel and Joel,
A while back I came across arnels six pack abs workout, through him I learned about you and your masterful dieting strategies. I combined the workouts and the dieting and made my first change that I’ve ever made in my life. I’m done 36 lbs from my 206 starting, at 170 and would like to hit 160 (dropping 7lbs of fat and 3 lbs of water before I run into my old high school group in mid november.

I have prayed for something . . . anything to to help me lose the excess fat (my BFI is 34%). I have tried so many other things with very limited results. I am 55 years old and post-menapausal, my metabolism is in the negative numbers. I am gaining weight whether I eat or not, and for that matter, whether I exercise or not. Well, I am at a stage in my life when I just want to turn everything around.
I have always been doing things to please others around me.
I did a job that I turned out to be hating and ended up depressed, losing the job. That meant no money, almost losing my home, my relationship, and in the meantime getting even fatter, as with not much cash you only buy the cheapast c-r-a-p. Which is obviously not healthy.
AS a result I also lost my only way to exercise as I know it (and socialising), DANCING. I wasn’t able to afford it.
After 6 month I have managed to get a part time job, got a roof over my head and I am just wanting to completely turn my life around.
I want to wow my boyfriend of almost 4 years for his 40th Birthday in February to show him how much I love him to get my dream body to prepare for that short but all so important little question and hopefully glowing in a VERY SPECIAL DRESS in front of my family and friends.
I have at least 25kg to shed, I want to be HEALTHY and READY FOR CHILDBEARING, which is my ultimate goal. To be able to not be ashamed of my size when I enter my 3rd competition in modern jive next May and to have people look at us and ask my boyfriend (hopeflly fiancee by then :D)”who is that girl you were dancing with? Dear guys,
I have been following your blog with interest these past few days. It makes scientific sense. I am a 45 year old doctor (hand surgeon) who is on-call 24/7 at two hospitals, and teaching at 3 universities (there are only 10 hand surgeons in our country), thus u can imagine how busy my schedule is. I want to set up an institute for hand surgery and live a long healthy life to 80 or 100 so that I can impart all my knowledge – but at the rate I’m going – I’m worried. I have an enlarging waistline, am overweight (BMI 28), and hardly get exercise. Have started lifting weights, and walking, but I fully agree – the attack has to be 3-pronged and aggressive on all counts to battle the bulge! I have bought other programs and DVDs, on line videos. I would read the book, but I’m not familiar with technical terms of doing a “plank” or “double skip’ etc. thus inevitably, I lose interest. If I get this program free, I will feel guilty not to continue on and will strive hard todo it / finish it because of your faith in me and giving it “free” to me! Anyway, I wish you all the success in your endeavours – keep it up!

I am 39 and on active duty. We have bi- annual physical readiness tests. Over the past few years my weight has slowly edged upward until topping out at 225. I was placed on a mandatory fitness program, and through hard work over the last year I have slowly dropped down to 200. There has to be a quicker way, and your program looks to be it.

I’m stuck in a rut. I have been trying to lose those last stubborn 15 pounds for over two years. I attribute my problem to several factors, loss of motivation, not staying consistent with a training program, and most of all my diet. Thank you for the oportunity to win 1000cal challenge. I feel I should win because I have a bit of tummy fat to get rid of. I have been doing really well but there is just this stubborn bit to shift…… and it IS stubborn. I have been doing everything, including self Hypnosis ( I am a Hypnotherapist)I live in Cyprus where the food is fresh and delicious so there is no excuse for me to eat junk food and keeping to a healthy eating schedule is easy. So what about this STUBBORN bit. ? Well I can think of no better way than the 1000cal challenge. And like the previous post I could share with my weight loss clients.

This program is perfect for me because I am having difficulty achievement my ideal weight to get my confidence back. I once was in great shape and it felt like I had it all. I have since been single and doing nothing but playing games. I do workout using weights but the only result I get is stretch marks on my stomach and all around my arms. It is obvious that I lack discipline with a training program and meal plan and this is a clear solution. I am very good at taking orders/advice if it is infront of me. So in conclusion I could really use the help of this training regime.

The reason that I should try this super-cool training system is because I’m the right casting, and then I have a view that I want to help my friends and family especially my sister to lose weight, she has been training alot but don’t see any results. I know the 1,000 Calorie Challenge is the program for me today. I need to learn about R-Quattro and other strategies for maximizing fat loss while building lean muscle. Seeing and feeling results fast and keeping the positive change going is key. I have a long way to go — almost half my current body weight. I know the basics of what I need to do but could use an extra edge. No more starting tomorrow, today is the day. And winning a free copy of this system today would be a critical boost. I have been looking for a program that I can fit into my schedule and that will intensify my workouts. I get bored with workouts easily and really like the sample workout that was sent out and have been doing it three times a week since it was sent and it’s very effective so would like to see more of them! I think that this program would be perfect for me and really want to try it out!

I am 60 years old, for many years I was in good shape, then life got in the way and I had a stroke in 2007, medication caused me a whopping 63 pound weight gain in 3 months. I am no longer on the medication but because I can no longer run or walk long distances I cannot lose the weight, I hate the shape of my body now, please help.

The message was a shock. “You have a particularly severe form of arthritis.” I was 28, was never in the hospital, no broken bones, nothing – then this! The doctors’ prognosis was pretty grim – the younger you get it, the worse it is.
The diagnosis proved to be true. Before I could count to 10, I had to give up everything I had enjoyed doing – sports, recreational activities, outings. The pain made everything impossible. “Stay at home,” the doctors warned me, “remain in bed.”
So I did. Result? The disease progressed, I was bedridden 1 1/2 years.
It was a low point. The disease was devestating – physically and mentally.
It was then that I made a decision.
I refused to accept the sentence, “You will never be able to be active in life.” I decided to actively disregard the doctors’ sedentary orders. I mean – heck, it couldn’t get any worse, right?
I set up a controlled program that involved cardio and weights. I went to the gym 2 1/2 hours daily. I knew what I was doing was crazy, I wasn’t sure if I would succeed – but I was determined not to give up without a fight.
I’m not going to lie. The beginning was excrutiating. “Give up, make life easy,” kept saying a voice inside my head.
And I did the one best thing in my life. I ignored this voice.
In the past 2 years I have fought my way back into life. For some reason, the “rest, don’t make any effort” advice did not apply to me. Makes you rethink the role of vigorous exercise in chronic illnesses, doesn’t it?
It’s an ongoing battle. If I “cheat” and let laziness get me, the illness crops up again. You’ve got to be disciplined and make an effort – like everything in life, I guess.
I’m looking for a long-term program for the upcoming months and years. So that one day the comment I hear from the doctor is not “Rest, take it easy, don’t exert yourself” but rather
“So – how was paragliding?”

At this moment I am 44 and approx 60lbs overweight. i have already written down the trial sample program you released in the emails.
last Saturday I had a go and burned 632 calories but only got as far as the 3rd
round of the 3rd tri-set. On Monday i repeated the process and burned 603 calories. On Wednesday i reached the 4th round of the 3rd tri-set, but now i
am down to 550. My problem now is that my fitness is increasing so fast that it looks like the calorie count is going to fall short even if i make it through the 4th tri-set.
I NEED YOUR HELP to get me to that goal.
P.S. Doing it with the wife tonight(the program. that is) Hope she enjoy’s it as much as i am.

I am a 37 year old male from South Africa and not in the greatest shape anymore. When I was younger, I used to be superfit and almost had six-pack abs. I have raised cholesterol and have had surgery on both knees to remove some stray cartilage. I used to weigh 81kg, but now I weigh 98kg. I have 2 young girls, aged 2 and 4 and would love to be able to be more active with them, but I tire way too quickly. With your program I would love to regain my former fitness levels and muscle tone and get rid of my belly, or “roly-poly” as Emma(4) calls it. I would like to be a great example to my wife and kids and would like for them to be proud of their dad. I’m currently 23 years old and for the last year I have been trying on my own to get rid of the layer of fat which has taken up residence in my stomach area. Despite all my running, jumping and consuming more fish than I have ever seen before in my entire life, I fail to get any progress. My conclusion: I have been doing it all wrong and that is my reason why I need the 1000 calorie challenge, to help me getting it right once and for all and to be able to look in the mirror and feel, not content, but awsome.
