I am male 34yrs, 5.12 inches tall, 76kg and 16% body fat and have been training. I have desperately tried many programs to drop my body fat to 10% but failed either by loosing my muscle or turning back to same weight and body fat .
I am curious and suspicious about all programs; so want to try out yours to prove if there are genuine programs out there.

We’re going to make this post extremely quick and easy.

Hey Joel,
I know a lot about you already having taken the plunge with your XFLD system and seen significant improvements in my level of fitness over those 25 days. I have been bouncing around through programs designed by those you recommend (Roman, Dr K, C Ballantyne, Del Monte) and even tried some of the diet plans from other leaders in the industry; though I have to say nothing matched the intensity of workouts and quality of diet plan I enjoyed with XFLD. I’ve been craving something similar and have yet to find it.
I don’t know much about Arnel, though in the brief cameos he makes in those videos he definitely seems well-versed in the types of exercises I have come to particularly love (density training with compound, fast-paced movements), and in teaming up with you, I am pretty confident you guys are serious about your 1,000 calorie claim.
So here I am, at a decent fitness level wanting to melt away the final 10-20 lbs (I’m 6’2/230lbs); I have a heart rate monitor and a commitment to giving this 100%. I would love to get a copy of your program to test-drive, and you would be getting a serious guinea pig in return.
Thanks,
K
I’m old! If you think it was hard staying in shape when you were in your 30’s, try doing in your 70’s! I have been stuck (despite continuous dieting) with the same surplus 20lbs for the last 3 years–and is it frustrating, to say the least. I play tennis, I go to Curves, I diet. Nothing works. After reading up on your plan, I have high hopes that this may be the final answer. And I would so love the chance to be slim for the next 30 years.
Since I started fitness exercises 1,5 years ago, I lost weight, build some muscles and became the most happy guy of the world when I get up in the morning and see myself in the bathroom mirror. Your new program could increase my smile.
Looking forward to seeing what this is all about!!
I have been trying to lose the flab around my hips thighs and stomach and am to a point of extreme frustration. I eat a very clean diet of natural foods and whole grains. I stay away from the processed foods that are loaded with junk like sugar, high fructose corn syrup and other things. I work out several times a week doing Zumba, and weight lifting. I have been through several exercise and diet programs from start to finish over the last year and have seen minimal results. I am searching for a program that will finally work for me, and if you think this program is the best available, I am your biggest challenge. I will follow your program to a “t”, track my calorie intake and exercise daily, and let you know the results. If you give me a free copy, I will give you 110% guaranteed.

Having started to overcome what I feel is a lifetime of body issues (I am 43 now), I know that I am now ready to make and see a real change in my physical shape involving hard work, discipline, and (dare I say it), fun. I know the 1,000 calorie challenge combines all these elements, giving me the push that I need, as well as the challenging fun that I long for.
I SERIOUSLY want to do this programme! I used to do Turbulence Training, and see this as a great follow on, with some amazing advances etc. But I dropped off the working out/eating well bandwagon in July during our house move, & have really felt my fitness, shape & vitality slipping. & I want it all back. ESPECIALLY my fitness. FAST! I know this can do it for me!
Thankyou for the ‘Try Before You Buy’.
Since you were generous enough to send us all the 600 calorie workout I gave it a go. This week I did your workout on Mon, Wed and Fri following your guidelines and after the 3rd progression today…WOW! Very hard work but I like it. A lot.
Okay, so I’m fit enough to start off on the 600 calorie workout (except the Superman PushUp: one arm just doesn’t cut it) but without going into details the body is very far from perfect and the diet is not as sharp as it should be and I’m hoping that your nutritional information will get my metabolism working for me.
All I can think of now is what workout I could possibly do next week which will measure up to what I started this week. Thanks Guys! I am definitely into this.
48 year old female Aussie
Im a professional Rafting and Canyoning Guide I have been doing the Push up and sit up for years and can’t get rid of that bit of fat that lies around the love handle and waist area. I’ve stopped Drinking and Smoking for 2 years now hoping this would help. Nah
I’m 38 years old why can’t I get back what I use to have. Maybe my metabolism, maybe my work out. I train lots and still no results. Need your help
to get rid of those lazy pounds of body fat i just can’t get rid of.
At 17, I was a pretty athletic 91lbs (yes, I realize that was below ideal weight). I ran the airport stretch (approx. 1.75 miles) in my home town, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., nearly every day (really) with my dog, 15 pull-ups, and a seemingly endless swim. I amped up my routine and protein intake to meet Army standards. 5 months later I was 114 lbs & on my way to becoming a soldier! Then it began…I gained 65 unexplainable lbs throughout my 5-month training and got injured about 6 months later, unable to exercise for nearly a year and a half. Then came Iraq. Needless to say, my injuries worsened during my year in the combat zone. Going from a fit 4 to an out-of-shape 14, I was not a happy camper. My highest weight was 190 lbs and fluctuated 20 lbs for the next 6 years with frustration and failed diet/exercise plans.
Now 27 and 167 lbs, a well-read health enthusiast, I came across your website. I know I can be happy and confident about my body again. After listening to your “How to Lose 3 to 5 lbs of PURE fat EVERY Week” audio and reading your blog, I am super-confident that your program will propel me toward a victorious finish. I am ADDICTED to avocado, mango, and French fries! Your calorie shifting ‘cheat day’ is heaven sent! Whether through winning or purchasing your 1,000 Calorie Challenge System, I WILL become one of your greatest success stories!
Thank you Guys for your passion and persistence I know you will help many people including me :-)
@ Joel Marion:
I need access to this program because I’ve done loads of workouts from Triphase, HIT weighttraining to the spartan workouts from Arnel, superset workouts, HIIT training, 300 workout, Spartacus workout in the past 2 years. However things are not challeging anymore regarding shredding the last bit of body fat aswell as blowing my heart rate sky high. I remember when I did the Spartan pullup/jumping lunge combo I nearly fainted after the lunge with some friends :p. However I did burn a lot of calories since I always train with a monitor but I really want to see how this program blows me and my friends away!
Thanks!

Kenny

Joel,
Over the past 7 years I have been putting on a lot of weight after a stressful relationship break-up. I discovered my wife had a gambling addiction and most of our savings playing the pokies. Eventually I had to leave. I now live with my two children, in a small apartment in Sydney, and I want to set the example for them, but I can’t afford costly personal trainers and the like. Last year at the doctor’s, he told me I should be seriously watching my blood pressure. I have a family history of heart problems. Since then I’ve exercised frequently, tried to eat more healthily, and exercised some more. And I’ve made some progress too: I have lost 16kg (~35lb). The heaviness of the anxiety from all my personal problems was replaced with the lightness of the benefits from my new lifestyle. Although I am now no longer in the high risk category for any heart condition, I am still overweight. But furthermore, I have stopped making the same progress I was before and I have no idea why — I am still exercising vigourously. Because of ongoing personal and financial problems I don’t have the time to do much, but I make time to exercise because I know I need to improve my fitness level and health. I am determined to do it. But I’m not sure my system is working. My hope is that maybe your program will help. Thanks Joel.
Yours faithfully,
Pete
Hi guys, I currently work in “Exercise Referral” a government-run scheme working alongside GP’s to bridge the gap between formal exercise & general physical activity to aid in a healthier lifestyle.
I see a wide range of clients with a broad host of health challenges. Our biggest problem is a near constant influx of people whose weight is having a significant impact on their health. Many start with great intentions, but get discouraged when they fail to see the results they expected. I do my best to educate them on certain principles but the reality is I can only influence them in the 1/2/3 hours I see them a week – the other 165-167 hours are out of my control!
Your program sounds very well structured & I love the steady progress principle that builds towards the larger calorie output workouts – this seems an ideal structure to share with those who traditionally think that exercise has to be “hard” from the get-go! (my dad for instance, who has developed type2 diabetes, may well adhere to this approach) To pass on & share your strategies would make a huge difference in a global obesity problem, this job is already packed with reward & fulfillment – to impact clients with this system would be the icing on the cake…(if you excuse the pun) :-)
Great work, keep it up!
Warmest regards
Z
Turning 30 has been a turning point for me in how I approach my life and mainly my health. I have realised the healthier your body, the better you are able to cope with the challenges of everyday life.
I have battled for the past couple of years to maintain a healthy weight, and with all the conflicting information you receive in the market with latest shakes and gimmicks, it has been a very hard thing to maintain.
I find the information you provide, coupled with the enthusiasm you bring across inspires me to go forward to achieve my weight/ health goals. It would be wonderful if you would consider being part of my journey :-)
I have battled with my weight my entire life and have had minimal success. I am a PhD student and I am celebrating my 36th birthday on Saturday. I would like to make this the year in which I attain my weight loss goals. I have been working out in the gym about 5 times a week, but school requires a lot of time and I don’t get to spend as much time working out as I would like. I have plateaued in my weight loss and I still have 50 lbs. to lose in order to reach my goal weight. I need a plan that is easy to follow, does not take a lot of time each day, and produces visible results. From what I have read about your program, this is exactly what I need to finally have success and reach my desired weight loss and body sculpting goals.
I’m following Arnel’s fitness programs quite a while, and to be honest I’m not living a full 100% to a diet program.. That’s why I am still not in a very good shape.. But I’ve been trying the R-Quattro program for two weeks now, and it’s so much fun to do.. After the workout, I feel so satisfied.. It’s a great feeling to feel my muscles pumped up and to feel that I have really pushed myself to the edge.. Like you guys say in your program “if you don’t come out of it gasping for air and feeling as though you need to lay down for a while and recover, you didn’t work hard enough”.. I really hope to be given the chance to continue the program..

First of all, im not writing this for me, im writing this for my fiance. He has been battling with his weight for quite sometime now & has truly tried everything just to be dissapointed everytime in himself for not being able to stick to a specific program because none of them worked for him & im tired of seeing him beat himself up over this so i thought id do something for him which i honestly think will turn his life around for the better. Ive read all your updates & really do think that this program is the one.
To get in shape for marriage.

Hey, it’s Joel! So you want to know a little more about me, huh? Well, I’d be happy to oblige :-)
I guess it all started back in 2001 (my freshman year of college) when I was just a “skinny fat” 19-year old kid. At the time, I was spending close to 2 hours a day in the gym (now my workouts last about 30 minutes), and despite my efforts, you’d probably never guess I worked out a day in my life by looking at me...
