Hi,
I wrote this mail once then tried to send and it never went then I re-read some of the comments written by people and I was glad it never went since I realised that I am not the only one feeling this way.
It did get me to think. I too have had the same problems as everyone– depression, lack of motivation, self-doubt, poor self-image, etc, etc. But the truth is the power for change is in your own hands and sometimes you just need the right tool in order to achieve your goals.
I truly believe that you are offering the right tools and to that end I need your help. The approach is positive without being dictatorial and gives the right motivation.
I know you said you don’t want to go into the financials on this but unfortunately it is an issue. A lot of us cannot afford the price especially with children and family commitments – I have heavily in debt and the truth is without this opportunity I would not be able to experience transformation from ugly duckling to swan.
This should not be about self-pity and loathing it should be a bout a celebration of life and what you can achieve with the right guidance and consul.
A positive attitude and a belief in betterment is the first step to making a change after that certain tools to achieve your goals are required by everyone.
Needless to say I wouldn’t be writing this if I didn’t need your help. I am 105 kg’s and that is about 35 kg over the alleged optimal weight I should be. This is making my life hard.
I moved abroad 4 years ago and found myself in a country with limited resources for fitness. Thus your programme would be a lifeline.
Anyway as I said change has to start with yourself and any programme will only work if you are in the right place to make it work.
I look forward to hearing back from you either way.
Cheers
AK

Hey, it’s Joel! So you want to know a little more about me, huh? Well, I’d be happy to oblige :-)
I guess it all started back in 2001 (my freshman year of college) when I was just a “skinny fat” 19-year old kid. At the time, I was spending close to 2 hours a day in the gym (now my workouts last about 30 minutes), and despite my efforts, you’d probably never guess I worked out a day in my life by looking at me...
