I, after 38 years, had finally reached what I thought was my ultimate goal. I’d lost 55 lbs. in 1 year while over seas in Iraq. It was a great feeling. The problem, I now know, is that I was headed toward disaster. While overseas I had a perfect setup. Almost like having my own personal chef and a free gym membership. In no way would I be able to carry the same habits home. All I had was time. now I’m back in the real world and have gained all but 15 lbs back. All seems impossible now and my once realized dream is gone. I don’t know how to or if I can get it back under these current circumstances. This site has given me hope though and I hope by winning one of the copies I can once again have ME back.

I wish that I had an amazing story to tell like the rest of the post. wow! I’m a 49 year old, well over weight 5′ 6″ about 220 (all stomach) ex martial artist. I am trying to find a good workout routine that I can do with my wife and kids. I would love to be able to start them (my kids) on the road to better health with a routine that works well for them.

When I was a 17, i only wore pants that were size 33, but after college and and starting a career my life changed upside down.. Now, I’m wearing a size 38. I’m not as fast as I used to be on the basketball court anymore. And I can’t even last one full game of it like I used to. My excuse would be that age is catching up on me, so I might as well live with it. I want a change in my lifestyle and I want to feel better about myself instead of letting nature do it’s course. But after hearing about your training program, it caught my atention and I was wondering If I could be fit like I used to.

To make a long story short, I had my daughter two years ago and having a child changed my body (for the worse) in ways I never expected. I was on bed rest through much of my pregnancy and unable to exercise. I was not able to start working out again until 6 months after giving birth. Flash forward one year and my body is still not (and may never be) what it was before, but it is getting there. I have hit a plateau and almost nothing is getting me through it. You guys have giving me so much inspiration and guidance along the way that I thinl the 1,000 calorie challenge is just what I need. I know it is terribly cliche, but I want my pre-baby body back more than anything and never thought I would be in this situation. So,….PICK ME!!!!

After being laid off last year, all I have done was sit around and use the computer looking for employment. This has caused to me gain weight, and of course, in the wrong places (hips, thighs, stomacha). Your emails I received really made me understand what it takes to get and stay fit. Three years ago I got sick and was put on a steriod to kill what ever I had in my body had to do with blood cells an asthma. I gained 80 lbs after I was done taking steriod I joined a gym and worked out faithfully for one year and only lost 45 lbs. Since I have not been able to loose the rest diets dont work I have joined a gym again to try and loose the rest of the weight and would like to look good again. I am 49 years old. Iwould like to loose 45 more pounds. working out makes me feel good but I am not happy with the results thank you.

I was diagnosed 8years ago with bowel cancer i was very lucky as they caught it very early, after many months of treatment and a great deal of worry to my family. I decided that i would get fit and not put them through that again, i go to the gym and work out every day but feel my fitness isn’t improving no matter how hard i work. With your emails i have started changing the way i was working out and have noticed more energy instead of less. To feel good about something I can and will achieve at this point in my life. I studied hard all these years sacrificing many leisure and sports activities just because I had no choice. But now, I did all the hard work and its time for me to achieve my very own personal objectives and that is to be lean and muscular.. all natural and without any supplements.

I’m a 20 years old who wants to change his life, to have more self-esteem, but specially to be healthier, to be in shape and prevent some diseases that are involved with overweight. 2 years ago, I decided to get my act together & I dropped 50 lbs in 6 months by getting back into a workout routine & eating right. I am 33. I am also 6’2″ and weigh 181 pounds. While I am genetically blessed with height and weight but not close to being a fit model, I do ponder about my internal health. I mean, if I jump off a diving board, will I belly flop?

This year, in march, I saw myself and saw a weak guy, who lived in the past. I use tu play sports and do weights on high school. Right now, i’m in university, and my schedule don’t leave much tim to work-out. I am 26yrs old. I have weighed between 285-315lb since I hit puberty. I have never dated, never gone anywhere and have never done anything. Hi I’m a 42 year old mum of 10 and now that we have finished our family I decided it was time to get fit, lose weight and tone up after 18 years of being pregnant, breast feeding and no exercise except for walking to school. I started a 10 week/10km running program in June and was getting up at 5.30 to fit in exercise before the rest of the family started their day and were also doing weights. Since then I have tried finding a fitness program that I can follow. I have found it difficult to make one up as I don’t have the time to do the research and I have found that I did better with a program to follow than I am now just winging it. I like a challenge (try having 10 kids) and I like the look of the challenge your program offers. I also think that I might be a bit inspiring to other people that if I can do it with 10 kids then any one can. I could maybe even get my husband to give it a go as he has shared a bit of weight gain with each pregnancy! And my kids (the teenagers) would love it.

I think your program is perfect for me because it will allow me to continue eating the foods that i love as well as prevent me from illnesses that my currently diet might give me. It will also help me lower my weight while finishing my undergrad, thus helping me lose the discomfort and strain the added weight puts on my body.
