I was terribly obese as a child. At age 12 I already weighed 200 pounds. My appetite was ridiculous! I would eat an entire box of pizza and then some other fast food for dinner. To make it even worse my mother would tell sweet nothings when I failed my physical education classes and “reward” me with cookies or ice cream. I was dying and I knew it. Out of frustration I became a bully and started picking on people to make myself feel better. I’d pick on the weak and at one point I almost killed a kid in middle school when I powerbombed him in gym class. Seeing other guys running around playing football, basketball or just hanging out with girls that I felt would never have interest in me made me even worse. Seeing their abs pissed me off. Years later I got my act together and started reading a lot of self help book. In those years I also picked up a couple body building books and did hours of research. By age 18 I was no longer the bully. In fact, I was the kid everyone looked up to in high school. I had a wealth of knowledge in every area, I no longer felt weak. I even graduated as the valedictorian. On my life journey, I’ve taught others all that I know to improve themselves as a way to redeem myself for my past deeds. However, there is still much more I can do to improve. I’m hoping this book will help me so I can therefore help others. I’d buy it, but as a College Freshman I have too many financial issue to take care of first. And this is why I need this favor. You’d be doing a lot of good for future generations.

Joel, I am a fellow fitness instructor like yourself striving daily to improve the lives of others and gaining much enjoyment and satisfaction from my work. I value the information you provide and have used you as a reference many times while discussing matters of health fitness and nutrition. As the proverb goes……Teach a Man to fish…….. I ABSOLUTELY want to win a copy of the ninja tactics because I am an extremely driven and also motivated person living here in good old Germany. Yes, Germans are reliable and determined BUT I miss the tactics to finally see those abs. I am one of the women who really seek a sixpack yet my own nutrition guidelines and exercises got me ….. -you guessed it- …..NOWHERE. Indeed, I look worse than before.

I need a free copy of your Ninja Nutrition Tactics! I have been trying to lose the last 10-15 lbs off my stomach for 7 years. I have tried just about everything imaginable, even stopped drinking but 1 time per month! Nutiritionally I am just not convinced that I have enough knowledge and I know your book will give me this. I am currently focused on eating 4 servings of fruits per day, early in the morning, and 3 servings of veggies a day, afternoon midnight. I am getting the carbs low, and trying to focus on protein in the evenings if I need a snack. I am also working out 3-4 times per week both cardio and lifting. All of this is not getting me where I want, just stuck in a stagnate state. Please Help!

I am a mother of four kids! I have three boys (9,8,and 4) and just had a little girl 20 months ago. I think that alone qualifies me for Ninja status!! (haha) I just started receiving your emails about 2 months. I have really enjoyed reading your health and fitness advice!
About a year ago, I decided to get serious about exercising and getting fit. I workout at least 5 times a week with two of those days being with a personal trainer. I have lost 25 lbs. and now weigh 115 lbs. I wouldn’t say I need to lose a lot more
weight, but my body fat percentage is still high. I am really wanting to get my body fat percentage down to look my best! I just had my last workout session with my personal trainer last week! I am hoping your Ninja tactics will give me the guidelines I need to accomplish my fitness goals on my own!! Will you help me?

I’ve just turned 43. I’ve gotten really serious about my health in the past two years. I’ve always had weight problems, going up or down depending on activity, diet, work, age, mood…
After deciding this was my last chance to become a healty person, I’ve lost 17 pounds in the past three months.
But I don’t want to just loose fat. I want to build muscle!!!
I’ve started mountain bike training this year, and want to be fit for a race in October. So I NEED that extra muscle building tool!!!

I have Type II diabetes with Kidney disease. If the doctors had not given me so many different pills and had MONITORED my kidneys I probably would not be in such a bad way today. I’ve been working out with careful nutrition planning since November of 09 and have managed to go from 159 lbs and 35% BF to 125 lbs and 19% BF. My goal is to shed another 5 lbs of fat by the end of August when I go back home to see my family. However, just last week I was involved in a very serious car accident which thankfully left me with only a case of whip lash (but a lot of emotional trauma that I have to deal with from the gruesome scenes I saw there). I am blessed that was the only injury I suffered, as one man lost his life in the accident and several others were seriously injured. However, the accident has left me unable to workout to my full potential. Since I can not put all my effort into my training, I have to focus all my effort on my nutrition to ensure that I meet my goal of seeing my abs by August 18th.
I would love to add your NNT program to my current tool box of fat busting, muscle building tips and tricks. I am down to my last 5 lbs of fat to eliminate and I should finally be able to see my abs for the first time in my life. I’d love to be able to say that your NNT got me there!

I deserve one of those copies because I have always tried to get a six pack abs. I also deserve it because I used to practice martial arts when I was a boy and a teenager…and I was a fan of ninja turtles. I rememeber they had sick packs eventhough the six packs where droven on the bottom of their shells and look like six packs eventhough they weren t at all.

Hi Joel, I had heart surgery on Friday July 25th (2010) I had a device implanted in my chest and a probe through the groin to the heart, I was awake through both procedures (they forgot to mention THAT to me) Well the following thursday I went for a follow up with one of my Cardiologists and asked how long until I could lift heavy things, he said I could try it and see, so I went back to the gym and did chest, back, shoulders, bi’s and tri’s. It was GREAT!! I t hurt a little at the incision but oh well. I have kept up my regular workouts, you see I want to enter my 1st figure comp in Decmber, Excalibur!! And NOTHING is going to hole me back, not even a little bit of heart surgery!

i really would love to win a free copy! I am a female who will be turning 46 in a couple of weeks. I have been trying to reduce my body fat for the last two years with little results. My co-workers see me constantly on a diet, constantly working out, with no results, it is really embarrassing and frustrating! I have tried various eating strategies. I also tried your XFL but I kept getting sick after a week, I guess it breaks down my immune system. I am not looking for a quick fix, I am looking for something that actually works! I have also taken up parkour and need to dump this useless fat to be able to scale up walls, jump over obstacles, etc. better. i also want to get into training women my age but can’t until I can be an example of what they would want to achieve. I deserve to win because I’m FAT! I’m about 150 lbs over weight and struggling with where to start. I feel like I’m staring down the shaft of what seems an endless dark tunnel. I have tried 4 different things to help me lose the original 2 kg I was overweight. Each time I used one of them eg. Herbex or Hoodia the diet herb – I GAINED at least 2 kg and have subsequently just added and added the kgs.
If you can help me lose that excess 10 – 12 kgs with this ‘Ninja Nutrition Tactic’ of yours I will be so grateful.
Just another challenge – I only lose about 100gm over about a month.

I am a mother of 3 (oldest is 8) and have tried many ways to lose the “baby weight.” I did the regular regime of diet and exercise and lost some but your research and tips have helped me more than any of the exercise or diet methods I have tried in the past. I am currently doing the Extreme Fat Loss Diet and have already seen more results faster than I have in the past. I also feel stronger. After reading some of your recent blogs, I most definitely do not want to experience the plateau you have described. I feel like your EFLD is getting me on the right momentum and I want to do all I can to keep it going to get back to my “pre-baby” body or even better!

I’d like to learn those tactics, and with that adapt my eating habits which are the ones that are actually keeping me from getting the body I want. I have the XFLD program, which really helped me though I didn’t follow it to the line, I lost some weight and finally got out of a plateu.

I’m going to get fit one way or another, because I want to give a good impression to my girlfriend (who’s a nutriologist) for my marriage which is in october.

I could say that I deserve to win a FREE copy of Ninja Nutrition Tactics! I could say that I read all I can about nutrition and exercise. I could say that I subscribe to a bunch of health and weight loss newsletters. That I have diabetes, Barrett Esophagus, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and am carrying around about 35% body fat.
