Welcome to the “Inside”!

Posted by Joel Marion

You are now officially part of the best body-changing website on the internet!

Below are a few suggestions to help you get started with the blog and ensure you get the most of out of the Body Transformation Insider experience:

1.  Go ahead and get yourself a Gravatar at Gravatar.com.  Gravatars or “globally recognized avatars” are the little pictures that you see next to comments posted on the site.  They give your comments personality (and you should be commenting!) and help to identify you around the site.  For your Gravatar, you can choose a headshot, the logo of your favorite sports team, or just about anything else you’d like (just keep it G-rated, please :-)).

One cool thing about Gravatars is that they are recognized on literally thousands of blogs and websites across the web, so once you have one, you’re set!

2.  If you haven’t already done so, download my FREE 17-page Fat Loss Secrets Exposed special report at the top of the page.  In this report, I give you six of the best fat loss strategies that have been responsible for literally shedding thousands of pounds from my clients trouble spots.  You definitely don’t want to miss this information as having it will put you ahead of 99.9% of other people trying to drop unwanted body fat-guaranteed.

3.  I’m all about interacting with and getting to know my readers.  One of the best ways to do this is through various social networks like Facebook and Twitter.  On Twitter, you can keep up to date with everything I’m doing and working on, interact with me, and get even more fat-loss tips and strategies.  And on Facebook, well, you all know how Facebook works!

Click here to follow me on Twitter.

And here to friend me on Facebook.

4.  If you’d like to know more about me, read this page.

5.  Get involved!  I want you to comment and become part of what we’re doing at BodyTransformationInsider.com!  Go through the posts, introduce yourself, and share your thoughts, questions, and input.  The more you interact, the more this site will benefit you and the more likely you will be to succeed at achieving your goals.

6.  Lastly, I’d love it if you’d do me a favor.  Under each post, we have a “social sharing” widget that allows you to share the content of the site with others via Facebook, Twitter, email, and a ton of other social bookmarking sites like Stubleupon and Technorati just to name a few.

If you enjoy a post, you can really help my efforts (Body Transformation Insider is a one-man operation) by using this widget to easily share this site with your friends.  Post it to your Facebook newsfeed, send a tweet to your followers on Twitter, or simply use the “email” function to send the post to your contacts.

My goal is to reach more than 1,000,000 people for fitness this year, and with your help, I know we can blow right past that number.

Simply put, the more people we get to the site, the more people we can help, and together, we’re sure to be unstoppable!

Alright, so this is what I’d like you to do right now:

1.  Post a comment below and let me know what you think about the site!  Also, would love it if you would take a minute to introduce yourself.

2.  Share, share, share!  Use the below widget to share this site with your email contacts, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, or any other social site you belong to!  With our sharing tool, it literally takes just a click of a button.  Thanks in advance for taking just a few seconds to share what we’re doing with your friends!

Talk to you soon!

Joel

Hi Joel
I am a new member, I could not decide if I should be envolved in your “cheat youself thin” program. I cannot do too much intensive workouts
because of my heart. but I do like your diet, and I will be following it. I got 10 lbs to loose. its 10 lbs that I have been trying to loose for a while. It keeps going up and down. I hope it will stay down this time.
Looking forward to enjoying your site and all the comments.

Hey Joel
Found your site via Vince D’s and like the theory behind the advice you give (so I downloaded the CYT plan last week) Started reading Vince’s No Nonsense plan in the last few weeks after a year in the gym, with mediocre results. Wanting to shift the “problem podge” I’m carrying and figure your plan might be the answer without undoing the good I’ve achieved over the last year – just not sure how to integrate the two? Any advice?
Thanks for a straight forward easy to follow plan by the way – much easier than getting through the mountain of useful info on your site!
Keep up the good work!

Hi Everyone,
My name is Linda. I live in France. I have stabilized my weight to an average 66kg, which I am happy with. I need to tone up a little, so I would like introduce some more exercise. I walk out with my dogs – two energetic Border Collies every day – between 20minutes and 45minutes, dependingon the weather!!! I’d like some suggestions on how I can use this time to shape up a little more. I know it is important to warm-up before major exercise, and I have been looking for some suggestions on your site to help with this.( I haven’t found a FAQ section yet) So again all suggestions welcome.
Thanks for the ‘Free Stuff’.

Hi Joel, Just joined and downloaded your weight loss info. Found your site via a FPFL search. Enjoyed reading JR’s article about FPFL theory and practise. Hope to learn lots more about gaining muscle and losing weight. I started a weight gain program 3 times per week at home about 7 weeks ago, so far so good. Cheers for now, Jim

Hi Joel

Recently joined, first post to this site.

36 y.o. Kiwi living in UK, been training for a while with disappointing results, so not sure if I’ll be of any help…

p.s. a kiwifruit is that small green fruit with a furry brown skin. A kiwi is someone born in New Zealand…or a flightless nocturnal bird…

Joel: LOL, now I feel like a total idiot! Thanks for trying to offer me some advice on another posting, I did not know it was you, LOL. I am excited to here reading everything and am learning more and more all the time. I so can’t wait to get in on the coaching and getting your program because frankly, I’m sick of dieting and being “good” and not getting results.

About me: I am 5’3″ and currently weight 184. I am 36 years old and have had all this weight on for the past 16 years (since I got married, LOL) I have 4 kids, ages 5, 4, 2 & 1. Yeah, I know what causes that. LOL. I wish I could blame my weight on having babies but no luck, I always lose weight when I’m pregnant. Well I decided at the end of November that enough was enough. At that time I was 206 lbs. It has taken me this long to go down 22lbs. I had hoped for something quicker than this but am thrilled to be here, 1 pant size smaller. I have tried a ton of different diets and just can’t stick with them because I love food, especially cake, pizza, fries etc. I have actually been doing another plan for a couple of months where I was getting less than 15 grams of sugar and less than 120 grams of carbs per day. I have given up soda (that was hard for me, but now I don’t miss it) But in the past couple of months lost nothing. I’m finding especially hard to lose weight around my waist, it’s falling off everywhere else. Anyway, I have given up on dieting and just eat good things now. My house is full of healthy food but still losing is hard, and a couple of days ago was my first cheat day since January. my biggest problem is exercise. With my 4 little ones, I don’t know where to fit it in and even worse I don’t know what to do anymore. So much info out there about cardio being useless for losing weight, so I just don’t know. :-( Thanks for what you’re doing here. I can’t wait to take advantage of your program soon. I so could use the help. Sorry for the ramble……thanks again ~ Jen

I think this will prove useful. I’m 54 and was an office rat. I started lifting in Nov. 2007 and added about 12lbs of muscle, lost 60lbs of fat and now weigh 224. Any exercise that will cut the fat, increase strength and improve my coordination will be most helpful as I still need to lose at least 24 more pesky pounds. I’m a type II diabetic fighting the good fight. Personal best, Squat 325#, Bench 225#, Deadlift 425#

Hi Joel, my name is Julie. I am 42 years old. I just joined. I have a 6 year old adopted korean boy and he keeps me busy but have been exercising for a long time now and have learned to fit exercising in with work and looking after my son. I am greatly looking forward to hearing about all the new fitness programs and exercises and healty eating practices. I like to get variety so I don’t get bored. I run on treadmil with my ipod so I don’t really get bored as I only do this approx 3 times a week and do weight training at home in my home gym most days. So keep the new stuff coming love to hear from you.

Regards Julie

Hi Joel, loved your ebooks I’ve purchased. One questions about Cheat your Way Thin. Do you exercise on your Cheat Day? Also, I’m training for a 1/2 marathon and am wondering if I should adjust to eating higher carbs on the days I run? Thanks for the email info – love hearing what you have to say.

Joel,

Thank you for all the great info. Love the emails, the website and the program so far. Knowing that I may come across as a negative person, I promise I am not…My biggest fear is that the program will for some reason not work for me. I am wanting and working hard at making CYWT work for me, but I can’t get the thought out of the back of my head that I may be the person that it doesn’t end up working for. I know you are just going to tell me to keep it up and not give up, and that is what I am going to do. Still, I can’t help but wonder if I will be the one that it may not work for. It’s hard to accept that something will work when there are so many things out there that don’t. Hoping that this is the end all, be all.

Thanks!

Hey Joel,
Thanks for the great info. And by great info I mean stuff that is actually legitimate and has a solid foundation. I’m a type 1 diabetic and have always been struggling with maintaining solid blood sugar levels, and then getting into shape. I ended up deciding that the whole 6-pack look just wasn’t meant for me, so I put my dream on ‘hold’. Anyway, around October last year, I started thinking I’d give it another shot, and wow, I am now a full blown fanatic. I’ve gained a fair bit of muscle (not as much as I would like, and hope to gain more, a lot quicker) and have started to look really defined, losing all that unnecessary fat. People have even suggested that I should consider becoming an athlete!!!
And as for my diabetes. It’s never been better – I can’t stress enough how important a good diet is!

Well that’s enough about me for now. Really appreciate all you’ve done.

Thanks!
