Welcome to the “Inside”!

Posted by Joel Marion

You are now officially part of the best body-changing website on the internet!

Below are a few suggestions to help you get started with the blog and ensure you get the most of out of the Body Transformation Insider experience:

1.  Go ahead and get yourself a Gravatar at Gravatar.com.  Gravatars or “globally recognized avatars” are the little pictures that you see next to comments posted on the site.  They give your comments personality (and you should be commenting!) and help to identify you around the site.  For your Gravatar, you can choose a headshot, the logo of your favorite sports team, or just about anything else you’d like (just keep it G-rated, please :-)).

One cool thing about Gravatars is that they are recognized on literally thousands of blogs and websites across the web, so once you have one, you’re set!

2.  If you haven’t already done so, download my FREE 17-page Fat Loss Secrets Exposed special report at the top of the page.  In this report, I give you six of the best fat loss strategies that have been responsible for literally shedding thousands of pounds from my clients trouble spots.  You definitely don’t want to miss this information as having it will put you ahead of 99.9% of other people trying to drop unwanted body fat-guaranteed.

3.  I’m all about interacting with and getting to know my readers.  One of the best ways to do this is through various social networks like Facebook and Twitter.  On Twitter, you can keep up to date with everything I’m doing and working on, interact with me, and get even more fat-loss tips and strategies.  And on Facebook, well, you all know how Facebook works!

Click here to follow me on Twitter.

And here to friend me on Facebook.

4.  If you’d like to know more about me, read this page.

5.  Get involved!  I want you to comment and become part of what we’re doing at BodyTransformationInsider.com!  Go through the posts, introduce yourself, and share your thoughts, questions, and input.  The more you interact, the more this site will benefit you and the more likely you will be to succeed at achieving your goals.

6.  Lastly, I’d love it if you’d do me a favor.  Under each post, we have a “social sharing” widget that allows you to share the content of the site with others via Facebook, Twitter, email, and a ton of other social bookmarking sites like Stubleupon and Technorati just to name a few.

If you enjoy a post, you can really help my efforts (Body Transformation Insider is a one-man operation) by using this widget to easily share this site with your friends.  Post it to your Facebook newsfeed, send a tweet to your followers on Twitter, or simply use the “email” function to send the post to your contacts.

My goal is to reach more than 1,000,000 people for fitness this year, and with your help, I know we can blow right past that number.

Simply put, the more people we get to the site, the more people we can help, and together, we’re sure to be unstoppable!

Alright, so this is what I’d like you to do right now:

1.  Post a comment below and let me know what you think about the site!  Also, would love it if you would take a minute to introduce yourself.

2.  Share, share, share!  Use the below widget to share this site with your email contacts, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, or any other social site you belong to!  With our sharing tool, it literally takes just a click of a button.  Thanks in advance for taking just a few seconds to share what we’re doing with your friends!

Talk to you soon!

Hi Joel! I have been keeping up with your site! Love the idea of harder workouts in a shorter time frame. Would love to know more about interval training. I am 44 years old and trying to lose this last 10 pounds….but this toning thing is not happening with me. I know age has something to do with it….things are not where they used to be and having 3 babies in 5 years doesn’t help! DOn’t get me wrong I would be lost without babies….they are worth everything to me! I just need some help as to what I need to do for my age….what is up with the extra belly fat? Mid 40’s weigh 128 but too much flab and belly fat! Help! What should I do? Would love to hear from you! Pam Hickman

Hi! I’m 43 years old 5feet 6 inchers and 148 lbs. I lost 50 lbs three years ago and I’m still trying to lose some 6 lbs of body fat especially from the jiggly tummy area. I have changed my lifestyle and I chose more healthy options.
My current goal is to be able to join a local Iron Man Triathlon competition here in the Philippines.

Sorry for the above “test” message. I kept trying to post and couldn’t get it to go through.

I have just started the CYWT program. In fact this is my first week. It seems to be fairly easy to live with so far. And I am very happy to get back on track with health and fitness.

My goals are to lose about 25 pounds by the end of this year. Also, I would like to be healthier and hope to be able to get off my asthma meds! I am 3 months post-op from having a repair on a torn tendon in my elbow, so I have not been able to exercise much. I am back in the swing of things now and am looking forwatd to living a healthier life.

I am 42 years old and am 5 feet tall, so EVERY pound shows on me!

tried the antagonist training yesterday. very soar today. good stuff. i did Body for Life in Jan. 2001. lost 47lbs.and went from 26% to 7% body fat. i stayed that way for about 3 years and became a NASM cert. personal trainer at 24 hour fitness, as well as continuing on to get my 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. However; due to financial problems, i had to give up my gym membership, quit doing T.K.D. and gained back 20 lbs. I am 5′ 10″ and weigh 187lbs. i would like to stay at 170 as i have gained some muscle, since i have continued to eat 6 meals and train at work. i have continued the B-F-L diet, but my body won`t drop the fat. i even signed up at the gym again and have been doing 2 days. Cardio 5 days a week(3 days moderate 30 Min.) 2 days intense 20 Min.) and weights 3 days a week. i eat 2 servings of oatmeal a day (not instant) with a protein shake/Salmon oil, fish or chicken breast with veggies for lunch, cottage cheese w/ berries for snack, and equal portions of complex carbs and protein for dinner 2-3 hours before bed! what gives?

Having a blog on your site is awesome. Found you via a group offer so, checking in to different things I can do. I lost 75 lbs in 2007 by eating better and going to the Y 3x a week. Lots of life happened, some tragic and I gained most of it back due to loss of gym access and depression (very understandable). I am not a quiter. Working toward personal trainer certification to help myself and others now. I do remember how good I felt and looked. I want to feel that again, and spread THAT happiness. And there is actually a great gym in this small town in the Midwest. I will check back…

Interesting website. I’m pretty confident that I will find the information I need to reach my goal. My name is Brandon. I’ve been working out for years with no real results. until I hired a trainer last year. He fashioned me a 3 month program which has given a loot of results. However, I still have stubborn fat around my midsection. A few months ago I stumbled onto Arnel’s website and for the first time in my life I can see a 6-pack. I still have to drop my body fat percentage a lot but I feel like i’m finally going somewhere. I’ve noticed that there was a lot of things i didn’t know and like a lot of people i’ve wasted tons of money on supplements. I knnow that with your website, Vince Delmonte’s and Arnel’s I will get the honest truth on how to shape my body! thx

hi everyone, my name is Cole and I just joined the program. Am a little nervous and overwhelmed by all the information….but I hope to get the ball rolling soon. Unfortunatley I go on vacation on Tuesday and am thinking of waiting till I return to start. I have at least 15 to 20 lbs to lose and have the misfortune of working in a restaurant, so I am surrounded by food (cake and ice cream and fresh bread, to name the worst) all day and night. Naturally I have a terrible sweet tooth and probably could survive on cake and ice cream forever. I definatley need some encouragment as I have a tendency to stress eat and often have binge eating attacks (these tend to consist of chocolate, PBJ sanwiches, and muesli). Well, that’s me in a nutshell……..cant wait to get started!!

Hi Joel,

From what I have read on your site I can see you know what you are talking about. I have paid and read the Mike Geary stuff amongst others and although I believe everything they have said as it makes sense, its just that the BIG decision of wanting to make the change… that! I am struggling to make…I read the original BFL book, loved it and it helped me make the change, it worked well until sort of week 10 when it all began to level out and although I stayed in great shape for 5 months..it all came back and more and now I am struggling to make that commitment to making a change..IF I can make that I know the mix of what I am learning and have learnt will stand me in good stead but Agghh! making that decision is soo HARD!

Joel, i am writing from southwest China – where just about every form of communication known to man has been blocked!!! For the past few months we’ve had no facebook, twitter, blogsites, youtube, etc…to be honest i was kind of enjoying it…until i had this question i wanted to ask you – and then found i had no way to connect!!! Well, i hope this works:
My sons, aged 10 and 9 just LOVE to work out with me – i never let them use any significant weights though…because i’ve “heard” that its damaging for young men of this age…can you please comment on this and let me (and my desperate sons) know when they can start using heavier weights?
Thanks Joel!

Hey Joe! I hope this is where I go to submit my reasons that I want to win the Cheat Your Way Thin Contest! I am 63 years old, shaped like an apple for the past ten years! I still have great legs, but, my middle is not looking good and I feel so full all the time from eating wrong. Also, I know this isn’t healthy for me. I have tried them all, but I know that dieting doesn’t work! I even took the HCG shots. I lost for awhile and I was becoming hopeful and then the losing just stopped and I stopped spending a whole bunch of money on shots that weren’t working any more. Very seriously, I’m discouraged and frustrated and really want help! My self esteem is all but gone. When you told us about the hormone that can change our bodies so drastically, it really made sense and this has me hopeful again! Briefly, I was in a car accident about 6 1/2 years ago that broke alot of my bones, also my back, and I really have a hard time working out and staying active because I’m in pain alot, and this is when I really started to put weight on. So, sensible eating is what I need! I can’t wait for the program, although it seems the time is crawling slowly by until it’s here! Thank you so much for sharing so much with me.

Hi Joel I just want to say thank you for all the information. I trained as a Physical Education teacher and this is the first time anything habout weight-loss has really made sense! I have tried the ‘cheat’ before workout day and it works – it’s like a dream come true:) I’ve always been in pretty good shape – now I can carry this knowledge into my middle and old age, making sure I take the best care of my body, and give the best support to my soul … Thank you:)

Hey Joel, and the rest of you/us cheetahz!

I’d like to know your view on incorporating a 18 to 24 hour fasting period into your weekly program. Supposing you don’t recommend it, and I’d still like to try it, would you say the first day of the carb cycling sequence (very low carb, immediately following the cheat day) would be the day of choice for fasting?
Also, has anyone here ever tried something similar?
Thanks for any input.

What a fantastic approach to the health of our mostly clueless and misguided population! Nice win-win touch to mix in relevant biological topics with a program designed to maintain fat loss motivation. I see a much happier future for as many as you can reach who will not only look much better but also attain the longevity that the medical/industrial-pharmicutical complex seems determined to deny them. You have my very best wishes for all you do. And, thank you.

Hey franskflinta I’m not Joel (obviously lol) but I use a combination of Fasting and Cheat your way thin and Ive used it with great success. I don’t want to rewrite Joel’s book and I hope he is cool with me replying but if you are curiuos if it works, I’m here to tell you that It does and it works well. The other thing is that Ive experimented with is more freequent cheat days and that works for me as well. In other words I fast for one day and eat low carb for the next 2 days and then cheat every 4th day and repeat the cycle. It works like a charm. I know that everyone is different but being able to cheat every 4th day has been a ton of fun and its working.
I hope all is well
Ralph
