I will only give you one reason why your program is perfect for me at this time of my life.

The reason is that all the diet scams on the net and all the crappy information from all the so called diet gurus, have caused me to yo-yo diet time and time again.

I will not follow any more diet advice from anybody without first checking his/her credentials:

Joel Marion, CISSN, NSCA-CPT, and 2001 Body-for-Life Grand Champion, is an authority on the use of dietary cheating tactics to accelerate fat loss. His ideas and theories have reached people all across the globe through his frequent contributions to popular health and fitness magazines, both in print and on the Web. Additionally, he is a highly sought after personal trainer and consultant to doctors, lawyers, athletes, and models as well as the average Joe and Jane looking to improve his or her appearance. Joel resides in New Jersey.

This is the Joel Marion Bio, and it is good enough for me to cheat my way thin, and to remain thin forever!!

Hey there,
I’m a mum of 4 in my early thirties and I get really rundown very easy. I have been trying Rob Poulos’ program and have plateued. I would like to lose approx 10 kilos and lose the lethargy!
I have been eagerly reading each update waiting for that next part “when can I eat these foods and how often is beneficial???” I can’t wait to see the complete picture :)

Hello Joel,
Your program worked for me just by using the very first tips coming with your updates information. Not surprising given that Cheat Your Way Thin is exhaustive, clear, and mostly it is not meant for masochists in search of more aggravation. Like many others, let’s say I have a master degree in “yoyo” experiences about water loss instead of fat loss. I think this time the cycle can be stopped for good because, simply put, your system takes care and coop with basic psychology tooting that nothing good will eventually come out privation, guilt and frustration… in other words, your program can not missed because it works for the user not against.
Thanks,
Al

Well the fact that I have lost 20 pounds over the last 2 months and have had my blood sugar raise to overly dangerous levels tells me that I need to lose more weight. My average blood sugar is now 300. I have been put on insulin shots at night to help manage it.

I really need this as I am 42 years old and can not keep up with my young fit family.. the girls play netball and the boys play soccer. I watch them all and do nothing for myself. I think it is time I thought about me….I seem to be doing the right things but nothing works. I currently weigh in at 92-93 kilos and am 5ft 7in tall, my ideal weight should be around 63-65 kilos. I’ve tried weight watchers and that worked for quite a while but I couldn’t keep it up or off. PLEASE HELP ME

Since February of this year, I have lost approximately 50 pounds by following the Tony Horton Power 90X Nutrition Plan as well exercising using 10-Minute Trainer. I would like to lose an additional 10 pounds so that I can be in a healthy weight range. More importantly, I want to learn your techniques as it seems they could lead to a permanent weight loss solution by not feeling deprived and being able to indulge in treats occasionally.

Hi joel,

I’ve been training for the past 5 years and thank god I’m in a complete shape. However, no matter for how long a person have been training, there is always a a lot to learn. Just wanted to thank you for such an effective program.

Hi Joel
Like many others I’ve tried every possible diet on the market since I gained almost 50lbs during my pregnancy 8 years ago, and like many others all my efforts have been (mostly) in vain.

I’m an all-or-nothing person usually so life has either been super healthy diet and daily exercise and training or lazy-as-sin couch potato and large amounts of unhealthy crap food. Problem is, the unhealthy days always seemed to outnumber the healthy ones. Hence the reason, 8 years later, I’m still struggling.

But a few months ago I happened upon the CYWT program, I thought long and hard before I purchased it, thinking here we go again, more money wasted for sure. I read the manual over and over before I finally began but I’m delighted to say for the first time ever I’ve stuck to a program for more than 4 weeks, I’m now on week 7 and loving it because its EASY. I’ve been less than perfect of course, having more than 1 cheat day on odd occasions.…oops! But for the first time I’ve had absolutely no problem getting back on track very quickly and I can’t believe how relaxed I’ve become about eating (or not eating).

But now I’m scared, the holiday season is almost upon us, I’ve still got 28lbs to lose and I’m terrified I’m going to be back to square one again in January and I just can’t face that. I really need this……help!

Actually, Joel, I think I will read more about your program, because after reading success stories on your website, I am intrigued and dare I say, even excited that my life could change also. Maybe my previous cynicism, though understandable, should not overshadow this very real possibility of success. Why should I allow previous disappointments to rob me of learning how to achieve higher goals? So, I tentatively move forward in wary but hopeful trust in your science and experience.

Hi Joel I’m a bodybuilder who tries to lose fat while enjoying the foods which I love to eat. I thought it was impossible to do that. But now I’m the happiest man in the world knowing the fact by you Joel through your cheat your way thin program. This program is fantastic because this is the only one diet program which I feel so easy to follow and I’m not feeling even that I’m on a diet. It just keeps going with full of results on the way. I have followed a lot of programs and I feel so tired and difficult to follow after some weeks. But this program is a breakthrough in which its possible for anyone in this world to follow from children to old people. Thankyou very much Joel for this great program. I’m going to recommend this program to all of the people whom I know so that everybody can be and stay healthy for this is the greatest thing that I can ever do to my beloved ones and my friends. By following this program I became energetic and feels like a fresh man. Thanks again Joel.

Hi Joel,
It sounds like I’m older than most of the other posters (being 59-1/2), and as soon as I hit pre-menopause, I got to the point where I just gained and couldn’t lose. I have tried every “diet” or system out there and would do the standard yo-yo. The extra weight (I’d like to lose 60 lbs.) has put a damper on my whole life…everything is put on hold till I lose weight. I don’t want to meet anyone (I’ve been divorced for a couple of years now), don’t want to go out to sing karaoke like I used to, don’t join the groups I’ve signed up for on meetup.com — in fact I just stay home most of the time. I feel that I look too big no matter what I wear, and dread having to go anywhere. I think this is a little depressing, so, of course, I end up eating my “comfort foods.” I’m also over 50% body fat, and need to lose for health reasons, having a family history of diabetes and have joint and foot problems because of the excess weight.

Your program would be perfect for me because if I could cheat with some of my comfort foods and have results, I know I could stick to it and finally get this burden off my back — hips, stomach, arms, etc.! Also, I could provide a good testimonial from an older woman. When I see people having great results with a program but they’re all in their 20’s and 30’s, it makes me skeptical as to whether it will work for someone in their 50’s or 60’s.

I feel sure the Cheat Your Way Thin is the perfect program for me. This has been a 10-year battle for me, and I’m ready — and NEED — to finally get some good results. I believe your way of eating and the high-intensity exercise is just what I need to again become the person I want to be.

Thank you for the contest.

At 35 I’m at a crossroads again. After two years of changing my entire lifestyle and losing 100 pounds, suddenly nothing is working for me anymore. I still weigh 270 pounds. And I need HELP! I’ve read your articles and somehow things makes sense. Over years that I’ve struggled to lose the 100lbs, I’ve found many times that when the scale just wouldn’t budge and I would get discouraged and eat something on the banned list, I would suddenly drop a few pounds! However, I have no idea how to incorporate healthy living and sensible eating with “cheating” on a regular basis. That is where I need your help. I believe if I get to learn how to how to I will feel less deprived, curb emotional eating and discouragement and have times where I can just relax with a meal with my family. Thank you for the insight so far. I’m so exited to have a new chance to change my life!!

HELP! I’m really hoping that your “Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition” will work for me, because my current plan, “Diet Your Way Fat” has been a disaster!
I have tried every diet on the market, religiously, for the past several years, and have managed to to nothing but put on more and more weight. Now I have developed obstructive sleep apnea as well, and the only chance I have to remedy that situation without using a CPAP machine for the rest of my life (makes for a very unattractive bed partner) is to take off this Santa Claus belly! I just finished reading my copy of your original diet and it is the first thing I’ve reade in years that actually PERFECT sense! This chance ito become thin and healthy, especially over the holidays, is really all I want for Christmas…with perhaps a little extra leptin in my Christmas stocking. Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas. . . I know, with your new Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition, I can make this a WINNING, THINNING New Year!

Not a unique storyl. Retired 3 years ago after a busy career full of stress an little time to eat properly. Am a veteran of dieting, have tried most of them and they all worked…but unfortunately not for long. If there was a contest for yoyo champions I would surely be on the podium. My wardrobe is in 4 sizes, even shoes in 2 sizes.
Life without work is truly wonderful in every way except the food department. Have finally become an excellent cook and my friends love to visit and taste my masterpieces. And naturally my weight has also progressd in the wrong direction.
The worst is the sad fact that I do not fit into my skiing gear. Am dead against buying yet another bigger size, so the only solution is obvious. Lose the surplus weight and keep it off for as long as I can move and ski….
Wishful thinking or real possibility???

I am a 50 year old RN who has over the past 8 months been following all of you from Canada who promote full body exercises, healthy whole food eating and challenging your body to do better.I used to belong to a gym for 10 years and never lost or reshaped much. But by following your programs and others I have lost about 20 lbs and 2 sizes. For that I thank you. I do however still struggle with losing the last 30 or so lbs I hoped to lose. I know I should be eating about 1600 calories but always come in over. Ater reading about “cheat yourself thin” I think maybe this concept would help me get past that “feeling cheated” feeling I get after a tough workout or a bad day and allow me to indulge occasionally. Since quitting smoking about 3 years ago, I do find I use food for the self gratification that smoking used to give me. Exercise fills that void but leaves me terribly hungry at times. I believe this program would still fulfill this need and teach me how to get around those issues and still satisfy my hunger. I thank you and Ballantine and Tousignant et all for all you do. Please don’t stop. I am stronger and healthier than I have ever been. God bless!!

Hello:

Diets DO work. Unfortunately most people associate the word DIET with being ON a diet- referring to some degree of restrictive approach. The most successful people I know are typically compliant with whatever it is they are working to achieve. Straying occassionally from your goal, to me, is still compliance. Because it’s not about being ON all the time, rather MOST of the time. Being successful in business is about making the right choices most of the time, same with your nutritional goals. Sadly, we, as consumers, have been pumped with misinformation from the media in regards to diets suggesting that TREAT foods are off limits. It’s the same with workouts. All designed workouts are GOOD, but they may not be GREAT. Performing good workouts MOST of the time is far better than performing a great workout some of the time. Make good nutritional behavior a ritual, not an obsession. You Joel, harnessed this information and made it REAL. Well done.

TIM, PA

In mid-October, I decided it was time to loose some weight. With a 12-day exercise- and nutritionplan, I lost six pounds. I decided to stop in mid-December because of the holidays. I would start again in January.
I had almost finished the 12-twelve day plan and was looking for a vegetarian-friendly diet, when I received an email about Joel Marion’s “Blackbook.” I was intrigued. So I could eat what I wanted some of the time and still be in control of my eating. Maybe I could continue to loose weight during the holidays.
When I read the information about the Cheat Your Way Thin System, I thought, I could use this system in my every day life. I like the idea of using a sience based system to teach my body to help itself.
Here are the benefits for me in the Cheat-Your-Way-Thin-Holiday-Special-Edition. I can continue to loose weight duiring the holidays. Food is important for me during the holidays, especially beacuse I don’t live in the U.S. and can’t celebrate with my family. Cooking and eating reminds me of those family traditions. I think that it’s time to start a new tradition. Instead of overeating, I could learn to eat strategically. And, I’ll be healthier and stay that way. Just knowing that others are doing the same thing would be meaningful to me too. I sure that trying this system will make this holiday season a very special one for me.

Joel,
I really need this program. At the start of 2009 I was a svelte 175 pounds. Then in March I fractured my ankle, couldn’t work out and gained 10 pounds. After I had my cast removed I got back to working out and lost those ten gained pounds plus five more. But in August I had to have hernia surgery. I had to stop working out for six weeks and I gained 25 POUNDS. I really need to get back down to what I call my ‘fighting weight’ and I’m sure Cheat Your Way Thin will help me achieve tha t goal. Keep up the good work!!!

“Cheat your way thin”???? Are you kidding??? I don’t think that I need any more incentive than that!!! All the diet gurus either lie and say you’ll lose so many kg’s instantly while eating what you like while the others say you must exercise until you actually want to die!! Of COURSE the fat goes… GEE! That’s not rocket science – but who REALLY likes exercise anyway??? Again… “Cheat your way thin” – VERY intriguing. Can it work?? I would LOVE to find out. Tried everything – even acupuncture – although I HATE needles so did the laser one. Need to lose 10kg’s and I LOVE food… SO… YES!! If you work… I NEED your help.

Hey Joel,

So i’m not your typical fat loss client.

By that I mean, I don’t need to lose 25-50 pounds. I’m not skinny fat either. I’m actually pretty lean and with some muscle, and in the best shape of my life (that’s because I never stopped improving since the last couple of years, so I know it’ll just get even better with time).

That said, despite my training like a friggin’ freak, and being the guy who eats the most healthy and methodically I know of, I have a layer of stubborn fat that just stays there, in my way, bothering me for no reason. This should NOT be permitted.

In the last couple of months I’ve read a lot to improve my knowledge of nutrition and made some good progress, but I still feel like it could be more efficient. And I feel that Cheat Your Way Thin can help me with that.

Thanks!

125 lbs overweight. 50 years old in less than 5 months. I’m frustrated. Husband and parents worried. Please help.

I’m 57 years old; I’m done with diets; I hate restraints on types of food I can eat; I want the freedom to make my own choices; I’m smart enough that I can figure out what I need to do (with your guidance); I know that when I hit the 5 pound loss I’ll feel better, 10 pounds off I’ll feel great and with the necessary 20 pounds off I’ll… I’ll… I’ll…well, I’ll live a lot longer for my son. Thank you.

Joel and Team,
Why do I NEED to participate and why is this program the perfect fit? I’m a 57 year old former high school and college athlete who, as many do, let life sort of slip away after college. Success in athletics had come easy and I assume I could take care of the weight and getting back into shape easily…and I did for a while and then I made a little less progress each time I attempted a rebound. The old sports injuries caught up with me and soon I found myself doing very little. It was an easy excuse too! So 2 years ago I committed to a complete recovery…started with a hip replacement and rehab for a year…then a knee replacement and rehab for a year. I’ve made progress and lost 20 pounds but have at least 25 pounds left to go and a lot of fitness to recover. Your program at this time, in this season is the perfect fit for me. Starting off 2010 with a big success in December 2009 will demonstrate the beginning of a more complete renewal. Watching Dara Torres this summer in the Olympics convinced me that age is just a number and I can get in better, physical, mental and emotional shape than I have ever been in and your program will be the perfect vehicle to kick that off. I am going to do the necessary work and know that I will succeed and the help of your team will be an incredible boost.

Best wishes to a great holiday season for you and your team.

Steve

I like to cheat. Heehee!

When you turn 50, your butt falls off. So says Husband. Actually, its the other way around, alarming expansion, and none of the old methods of fat loss seem to apply anymore. When I was in my 30s, visions of Dorian Yates danced in my head, and I was an amateur bodybuilder. But life got more hectic, and the metabolism slowed down. I’m tired of being a sloth–I want to be a cheetah, and satisfy my “potato tooth” at the same time. I need your new plan, with its logical, tested methods to rev my metabolism up. Sometimes Old Skool needs to learn New School, and I’m ready!
