Hi Joel,

As a science major, I can say that the past updates you’ve been sending out to everyone is extremely interesting and very logical. The times where I accidentally overeat certain foods (Halloween WAS upon us only a few weeks back ;) ) I noticed I’d actually make more gains in losing weight than by strictly following a diet plan of lean protein and fibrous carbs for eons. I want to be able to eat foods that I would REALLY enjoy (what doesn’t help matters is that my mom loves cake for celebrating holidays) so learning the stuff your book has to offer, and their applications not just in the holiday season, but the entire year, has really got me interested and really shooting to get this material as soon as possible. Who knows, my mom would learn some stuff too!

The truth of the matter is that I don’t know that it’s the perfect diet. However, nothing else that I’ve tried has captured my heart and that is what it is going to take for a lifestyle change. I am not terribly overweight, I just want to dump around 20 lbs. But, being in my 50’s, it’s been difficult. I really like what you are saying about cheat days. I love eating ice cream on occasion and the fact that I can do it, and it be a part of my HEALTHY diet is quite appealing to me. I like the fact that I don’t have to be on a guilt trip when I eat it. The truth of the matter is, I would still eat Ice cream…but having permission to cheat not only takes the guilt away, but it has already stopped me from wanting to eat it all the time, and in extreme measures. I like knowing that I only have to wait a couple of days and I am not deprived, thus I don’t feel like I have to eat my fill of it all at once. I downloaded the Holiday Fat book and intend to follow it during the holidays. Thanks for your efforts and I look forward to learning more.

The cheat your way thin system is the perfect lifestyle system. No matter your fitness goal–whether shedding gross belly fat or building muscle, cheat your way thin will provide the requisite nutrients, all without feeling hungry or depriving yourself of your favorite foods! Best of all, since you get to eat your favorite foods, it’s very easy to stick with, making it the first true “lifestyle diet.”
It’s all based on leptin. I know I know, if it involves a scary word I’ve never heard before, then it must be complex and hard to apply, like every other diet I’ve tried, right? Wrong. Leptin levels in the blood tell the brain how hungry to feel, and how much energy to have. What’s this mean for me?
It means that if I can keep my leptin levels high, while convincing my body to burn fat and not muscle, then I’ve found a way to lose my bodyfat – permanently – without feeling hungry!
This is so important for me. I’m a college athlete, and my body is pushed to and beyond my previous limits every day. All this exercise takes a heavy toll on me though, and makes me hungry-REALLY hungry! When I have to lose weight, I always feel weak, hungry, and my performance in the classroom and with the team suffers. Cheat Your Way Thin gives me peak performance, peak energy, and a peak physique, all the time!

Currently, I’m a student attending the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. This is my first year in university, and I’m living on campus which has been extremely difficult. Although I try to watch what type of foods I consume, it is extremely hard to do so as there are very few healthy choices. I have actually gained close to 5 pounds of fat since school started (2 months ago). Unfortunately, for my weight, the holidays are coming up which has generally meant more weight gain for m. I’m hoping that this copy of Cheat Your Way Thin will help me towards avoiding the freshman fifteen. Not only that, but even help me lose some of the unwanted weight which I have had all my life. To make matters even more difficult, in terms of not gaining weight during the holidays, my father is coming back home from his work (which is half way around the world). I would love to enjoy myself with him while my father and I have the time to do so, and before he leaves for his work. I have actually not seen him for the past year and enjoying the holidays with him would be like a dream come true. But this will be extremely difficult without some sort of guidance via the Cheat Your Way Thin holiday edition. This is why the copy of the Cheat Your Way Thin holiday edition would perfect for my current situation.

I’m not grossly overweight, but at 5’5, the scale tipping out at 180 freaked me out. This past week, I got the official ‘you need to lose weight’ speech from my doctor. There’s incentive… There’s a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure in my family, both of my parents are overweight, as is my brother. My go-to method had always been exercise, but since hitting my thirties, it hasn’t seemed to be working anymore. I’ve been quite discouraged at the idea of having to turn towards a calorie restrictive diet as it makes me exhausted. I’ve got a hectic lifestyle and can’t afford to be run down. I’m a full time biochemistry student (actually working in the lipids field, so I’m familiar with leptin, I would love to be able to harness its efficiency). I work part-time as an ER nurse, I’m a member of a theatre group and a vocal ensemble. My busy schedule makes it a necessity for me to find a program that has a certain degree of flexibility. I am expected to dance to Madonna’s Vogue this coming year while wearing a corset, I would love to be able to rock it. I think your program might just be the ticket. This method just seems to make sense to me. I’d love the opportunity to check it out first hand. Can’t wait to be able to have a before and after photo. :)

Hi, My name is Keith Lai and I am 20 years old and have been following your blog for a while. For the past year, I have been trying to lose about 20 pounds of fat. I have tried everything from the atkins diet, south beach, intermittent fasting( leangains, eat stop eat, fast 5).. You named it I tried lol. Even i was cheating on my diets before as a reward meal each week, I had a huge sense of guilt that doing so would hinder my proccess and destroy my weeks of progress. This translated into an extreme condition of yoyo dieting and led to my horrible relationship with food. Even now, I try to be more lenient with my food choices, but doing so will make me crave them even more because I am eating less than I normally do. I even gone to the extremes of neglecting my family and friends because of my obsession with losing the weight. I would even sometimes have to shamefully lie to them because I needed an excuse to not go to my mom’s house for her delicious home cooking, which i downright embarrassing. I would love to be able to try your program, which from what i heard, is nothing short of spectacular. I really think it would help change my life and help me get out of the food obsessive disorder I have and let me enjoy life like it was intended to: with family and friends. Thank you

Hi! I’m a martial arts instructor and I’ve been struggling with my weight for YEARS! I’m really worried about my heart as well. I’ve lost 40 pounds so far but more to go. Plus the holidays are coming. I love martial arts and exercise, but I also love to eat. Add a a very busy schedule to the mix and it’s insane! PLEASE help!

Hi Joel,

I’m very interested in your program…I began a “natural healthy diet” in January and I’m still struggling trying to lose fat. During the last 10 months I’ve been exercising and let’s say I have followed my diet in an 80% but now I feel desperate, frustrated and tired of not being able to lose the pounds and fat I still need. Now the holidays are so close and the delicious things will be all around me… I am afraid to end 2009 almost the same way I began. I am really looking forward to know more about your programs, and to still have the opportunity to achieve my weight lose goals before 2010. Thanks for your work!

As someone who has studied exercise science at university, I wanted to learn the best ways to exercise, to bulk up and to stay healthy and lean. After four years of study I can’t say I know a huge amount. Apart from more study, my only other option is to somehow negotiate my way through the endless crap that fills the internet simply to find a solution of how to get the best body I can naturally. I stumbled upon your programs through Vince Del Monte, and struggled convince myself to even purchase my first program from him, as I’m newly married and my wife is still studying, money is fairly tight. Realizing that there is a lot of good info out there now on nutrition and programs is tough, cos I want the best for myself, but can’t always afford to buy the newest program. I think this prorgram seems to give people some freedom with what they eat, plus it makes sense from my exercise science background. I want to look my best for myself, for my wife, and so I show my kids at school (I’m a high school PE teacher) that I’m the real deal. I’m super keen on seeing this program in action!

Hi Joel,

I have been trying to lose 30 pounds of fat for years without success even though I exercise regularly (bike and walk) even doing high intensity intervals. Most of my fat is visceral and so I have been also motivated for my overall health. My biggest weakness is that I have a hard time resisting baked goods, desserts, treats. To imagine that I can include these as a part of getting down to my ideal weight is like a dream come true. Of course there is a certain amount of skepticism but mostly I feel hopeful.
Thanks Joel,
Len

Hi Joel,
You’ve done what we in Australia call “the hard yakka” that is, you’ve done all the work that I have been trying to get done. I first heard whispers about leptin a couple of years ago and I’ve read at last count about 5 books on it but a lot of the information is incomplete (in terms of applying it IRL) or contradictory.
I have always maintained a steady weight until in my late 30s when I had an undiagnosed thyroid problem which triggered lots of other hormonal issues and over the course of a year I gained a horrifying 30 kilos.
Ever since then I’ve still maintained a steady weight - only now it’s 30 kilos too heavy. I know that if I can crack the leptin issue and get back to my healthy weight I will maintain it and your program seems to have it nailed.
I am aiming to get fit and healthy again ASAP and would really love your help to do it. I have been trying to piece it all together but so far what I have is just a scratchy outline whereas you seem to have created the fully coloured-in version.
So I’m ready to let your leptin insight lead me there.
Thanks for considering me for this very special prize.

Hi Joel,

I have been so excited to read your emails and watch your videos. I have been a lifetime dieter and have been successful. But then I gain it all back (and more) as soon as I stop dieting and live life again. Seeing the science and all your hard work on the Cheat Your Way Thin plan makes so much sense! Tricking my body is the way to boost my metabolism, raise my hormone levels, and burn the fat. I can’t wait to get started on this program and share this awesome stuff with everyone else who is or has been struggling as much as I have my entire life. This is the way to go! No dieting - just a new way to LIVE and be set free from the bondage of this fat body and slave to some new diet plan. I have already told a few friends about your plan and they are very intrigued. I think they want me to be the guinea pig. I am going to prove to them that they need your program! I am ready to start my new way of eating and gain energy and a healthy way of life.

Thanks Joel!

Hi, I ‘m Varun Mathew, The problem with this question is that I don’t have the answer to the one you’re asking… As it stands I haven’t read the content of your technique or idealogy per se peertaining to diet or ever tried it so I have to be skeptical as I have tried many other diets and workouts only to have it let go at some critical juncture.
… I have jumped through very hoop going from slightly obese to extremely scrawny( more like skinny fat) to 10%bf, endured the most strict form of diet and
even tried the limits of my own body to get to the elusive conditionining that you elite pro’s possess, came up with several of my own theories as far fat, carbs, protein as to what produces the highest TEF, understood the highs of leptin every so now an then but still I have missed the key to fat loss… my journey remains in this conquest for perfection of my body, now at 11%bf…
…you have a solution, but I don’t know if it’s the key!!

Hi Joel,

I have always eaten extremely healthfully but have for some reason always struggled with my weight. That was up until 3 years ago when I did a sort of one day on one day off dieting. I lost a good amount of weight for the first time in my life (and kept it off for over a year and half) but then went a little overboard and started eating less and less and got too skinny. Eventually I developed a bulimic behavior that ultimately led me to gain weight bringing me back to where I started. I am now in recovery for this but still have the weight to lose. As I know a constantly changing diet was the key to my success I am looking for a similar program. My old method is no longer working for me so I want something that is effective and will allow me to feel better about my appearance after having overcome disordered eating. I believe that your program can do this.

Thanks!

Yo Joel,
I am Yishen here and I am 16 years old this year still studying. This programme is really useful for people who doesn not have enough time to eat and can using cheat meal to enjoy some “junk food” and to be healthy at the same time. Because I am a fat guy i need this programme meal plan to help me lost bodyweight fats. while else I can enjoy my cheat meal in some particular day. thank you for the 6 updates.

I’m a second year medical student, which means my life is CRAZY. When I’m not studying, shadowing on the wards or doing extra-curricular activities, I make time to work out 5-6 times per week. Also, like most weight-conscious people out there, I make a big effort to eat healthy. Fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy grains and lean meats are the main players in my daily diet. However, I have reached a plateau and have been struggling to lose weight over the last year. And of course, I miss sweet treats, especially chocolate, like crazy! So yes – I BINGE, and my mood is absolutely horrible afterward. Joel, I’m ready for a change! In less than a year, I will be actually working on the wards and on call, and will be very strapped for time to eat, sleep, let alone get to the gym! So if I could get my weight down, I feel like I could maintain my new weight during this chaotic yet exciting part of my life. Being in medicine, I know all about leptin, and I’m so excited to have the chance to make it work for me! As you’ve said, the psychological part of healthy weight is huge in overall health, and I feel that with your program, I can be truly happy with the way I look and ENJOY food again. And as a great bonus, a better mood and outlook will definitely help my performance on the wards!

I am a certified personal trainer so I am familiar with what needs to be done to loose weight, but I am also human who has a life. I have struggled with my weight for the past 10 years. I have no problem going a few days on a diet knowing my health will improve and my weight will decrease. But, the thought of giving up my favorite foods forever has always made me go off of my diets. Your program is great for me because I know if I follow your diet plan I can always look forward ro eating my favorite foods while still loosing fat.

Hi Joel,
I’ve been reading your updates with great anticipation. As a 70yr old woman who has been trying to lose weight for more years than I care to think about with little success, I feel like finally there is some hope for me. I try to workout 3 times a week but I have arthritis so what I can do is limited. If I could lose some weight my knees would be much less painful and I could do more exercises. My mother will be 100yrs old next week, 11/23, so I’ll probably be around for quite awhile yet. With your program I’ll have a chance to make those years a lot more pleasant!!!
Thank you,
Bernice

Hi,
I have found your link somewhere on the internet and was following your updates religiously. I have been struggling with weight loss for a long time my BMI is 35 and need to lose about 100lbs to be in the normal range. I do my best at eating healthy foods with the rare exceptions yet I have not been able to loose much. I believe that with your teaching I will be able to attain my goal losing inches and basically being in better health. This might also be an eye opener for some of my friends as well which I will gladly refer.
Thanks for all your hard work and I can’t wait to see the results
Stephane

Joel,
I think this program would be perfect for me, because it deals with all the struggles I have had in my 13 plus years of trying to loose weight. When I entered the police academy at 23, I was a respectable 185. Still living off the high metabolism of my youth. I left the academy, having ballooned up to 205. Not working out as hard because you always go to the slowest members pace, and no time to hit the weights since I was focusing on the class work. Add to this the followings of poor nutrition advice from steroid filled muscle magazines and shift work. From the postings you have been putting up, this program will finally help me shed the unwanted fat, without the suffering of a miserable diet. I too tried Body for Life, even the eating style there left me feeling hungry and deprived. The thought of having days where pizza (my weakness) is not off limits but almost needed is very encouraging. The science and logic behind your program seems very sound and I would love to give it a go. I have tried so many other things, and they all start okay, but to paraphrase your thoughts diets fail me because they make me miserable. Your program seems to be the answer to get rid of my unwanted, unhealthy body fat which is detrimental to my job performance. I hope you find me a worthy candidate to receive one of your programs.

Steve

I am a mom of a 3 year old and a 5 month old. After having my first child, I was never back to my pre-pregnancy or even pre-marriage weight. I have tried so many different popular ways of losing the weight but ended up gaining 30 more pounds than losing the original 15-20 that was my goal at the time. As a nursing mother, starving myself by counting calories isn’t recommended and exercising everyday just doesn’t happen. After reading your past 6 updates and finding out that I can still eat the things I like to eat and lose weight, I was excited. I have birthday parties and the holidays to look forward to without the fear of gaining weight. I have a goal of fitting back into my wedding dress by mid-January for a photo shoot for my sister’s photography business. Feeling like I could be back at that weight and size (maybe even less and thinner) in such a short period of time thrills me.

Hi Joel,
I lost 45 lbs 4 years ago and put 15 of it back on. I am in my late 50s and know the odds are not in my favor regarding weight.

You really opened my eyes in what you just taught about hormones. As a result, I had my first pasta in a year and it made my body feel happy, positive, and energetic! Using food to serve me and enjoy myself during the holidays with your guidance is what I’m going to do. You have brought this whole thing down to earth. How can I not wish to have a free copy of your holiday survival guide on cheating my way thin through the holidays?

Wew hoo!

I am a 21-year-old college student. For the past 1 years, I have been reading, consulting, and learning non-stop about health and wellness. I am not at an unhealthy weight; in fact, I am reasonably fit. But what I care about most is overall health. I eat for nutrition and weight about equally. The problem is that I have reverted back to unhealthy ways. You see, my daily meals are mostly whole, organic fruits, veggies, and meats/nuts/seeds. However, I indulge moreso than ever. I LOVE food to the point where I overeat almost always. It’s a virtually uncontrollable psychological attachment. Now that I think of myself as a nutritious person, I subconsciously think “restriction,” and “when am I ever going to get to do this again?” and it causes me to go crazy whenever I get the opportunity. I am certain that this diet, in giving me something food-related to look forward to, will significantly help control my cravings to the point where I can take on the “It’s not worth it; in two days, the food world is my oyster” mentality. I think that would be a steer in the direction of control.

Thanks a lot,
Griffin

As an aspiring athlete, I have come to learn the power of implementing the correct methods. I am on the cusp of attaining the physique that I deeply desire, but I am vaguely aware that I lack the knowledge of the optimal methodology. It is my personal code of life that I strive to be the best that I can be in every area of my life. When I attain the body of my dreams, I know it will accelerate my progress in all of my endeavors, including my studies and my sports. I yearn to break past all my preconceived limits and serve as an inspiration to others that the human potential for excellence is truly boundless. Life is rich with opportunity, and the best way to live is to break past old barriers and live the life I imagine. When I am in the third set of a long tennis match, the knowledge that I have a world-class body will give me the confidence to triumph where I might have yielded to exhaustion and doubt.

Well I suspect I’m MUCH older than most of the people you are working with and I think my belly fat is more to do with age and hormones than overeating or even bad eating, but whatever, I’m trying to make it GO. It’s just not healthy. I’d really like to put your ideas to work and then be able to report a great success story!

Your whole program has helped in getting into a routine, necessary to maintain my health. I have had a heart valve transplant and bypass and the only way I will survive for 15 years, which is what they say the valve will last, is by maintinaing a low weight and exercise regularly.

I want to be a cheat! I know how to work hard and be perfect… but you know what, my life needs a few more burgers in it! I want to know exactly how i can share the beautiful indulgent food i love to cook with my friends and family without feeling it on my butt. I want them to know that they can do it to- they can have insane quality of life- an amazing body, energy to burn and the ability to do anything they want- by using your scientifically advanced and intelligent eating system! Using your system, my body will fit with ‘me’- i rock and it will too! No poor me here… I’ve got the mind in line, you give me the system and i will send you the photos!

Joel, your program sounds almost too good to be true. As someone who has struggled with my weight for most of 40 years, I have tried almost everything out there. Some of them make me think of food all the time because it is so restrictive of what I CANNOT have. Your program sounds like I CAN have the foods I love, just in a planned manner. And I believe your internet coaching would be the icing on the cake. It is a little harder to approach a program like this once one passes age 60 and the exercise routine seems a little daunting for a senior, but I am certain it works and would love to give it a try.

Hi ,My name is Fay . I have been struggling with my wieight all my life . I am 47 years old and have tryed every possible thing to lose weight !! I recently quite smoking (8 months ago ) and have packed on even more weight !! We will be celebrating our 25 th wedding anniversary next Aug and I desperatly want to lose this weight !! I am short and very over weight ! I have been glued to my computer ever since I started to get your e mails !! The more I read the more sence it makes !! Hi Joel

I am stuck!
Been stuck for a while now!

Stuck at a plateau with my fitness and dieting. I can feel the muscles lying under my fat. But the fat just won’t budge. The diets I try don’t work as they are too restrictive! I like my food ALOT!!!

Then I downloaded your blackbook and started to receive your emails and newsletters As I started to read how Leptin works and how its important to carb cycle to keep your body burning. I got excited! This could be the program that pushes me through this plateau that I’m struggling to break through for so long now!!! While enjoying my food at the right specified times!

Leptin is my key to success!!!
I believe that your program will help me get there!

I’m in the midst of learning to bulk up and trying to aim to bring my body fat to my target of 8-10%. And having a guideline like this book will definitely be great help because as much as I’m trying to lose my body fat, it was stagnant for the past 3 months regardless of various workout routine. I guess it’s due to my eating habit as I did not plan my eating thanks to my workloads and job. Thus, having this book could be a major as I think it will definitely help me to achieve my target based on the coaching from the book. Thanks for reading! Cheers!

Regards,
Gary

I have many reasons why CYWTHE is the perfect program for me at this time. I come from a family that is blessed with horrible genes where one side has an abundance of hips, thighs and booty, while the other tends to gain weight from their belly. If this weren’t bad enough, we all come together during the holidays with heaping piles of food, drinks and sugary treats.

Having been overweight for as long as I can possibly remember, I’ve come to a point in my life where I made a decision to get healthy. I got tired of the emotional eating and finding comfort in food and started trying many different diets and all yielded to the same thing…failing to lose the weight. I also researched many diet programs and found that CYWT does not only have the scientific research behind it, but it seems easy to follow.

I do not intend on keeping this program all to myself. I am planning to start CYWTHE with my sister. She has been dealing with anorexic and bulimic tendencies for about 10 years now, and the holidays tend to make her revert to bad eating habits.

I hope the program teaches both of us to make smarter choices as to what we eat.

Hi Joel,

Thanks for offering 5 free copies of your program. Why I think this program is great for me is because I own a personal training and boot camp company and have had really good results with my clients, for instance, a recent client losing 33 pounds in 4months, however I have had a few clients who just haven’t been able to lose the weight they want to despite exercising really hard and following the nutrition formula I give that works with so many.

I was wondering the reason might be because they are already pretty lean, i.e. each of them only needs to lose 10 pounds or say 15 pounds at most. They’ll see some weight drop but just haven’t met their goal weight yet and so maybe your strategy of strategic cheating the secret they need to implement so finally break past their plateaus. So it would be a real blessing to me to help them achieve their goal weights and your program might just be the tool to do that :)

Thanks for considering me.

Tyron

Hi Joel,

I am 38 years old and have been struggling with my weight forever, I came out of a very abusive marriage where I was verbally abused and I was permanently on some crash diet, which, as you would know, have wreaked havoc with my metabolism and weight, I am struggling to find a diet that is suitable for me and I think this one of yours is going to be perfect to help me whip my body in shape before my 40th birthday, please consider me for one of the five copies

Thanks

Hi, I’m Mihaela , am from Romania, and I need at this moment in my life something to motivate me.I have health problems, relationship problems, every area in my life is a huge problem.I am sick and tired of my problems. I need to turn my life arond.. in a positive way.
thanks

Howdy Joel!

C.Y.W.T. is exactly the program I need because of how it targets and controls Leptin and how it essentially rewards you over and over. I am a hypoglycemic. I have learned through the years that because of the drops in Leptin in my blood due to the over production of insulin, my body will hold on to weight tighter than a toddler holding a toy in a toy store. Since C.Y.W.T aims to keep Leptin levels high, I will actually have a fighting chance to lose the extra 125 pounds I carry. Also, by allowing us to have our favorite foods every few days will help fight off the typical feelings of anxiety I have during diets. Anxiety coupled with my body’s desperate need to hold on to weight has inevitably led me to quiet diet after diet of the course of my life. C.Y.W.T. is THE KEY to finally shedding excess weight permanently so that I can finally enjoy life to the fullest.

@Keith Lai - hi Joel, I’m a 34 yr old who had baby 5 weeks ago. I have hypothyroidism and was working with weights and cardio… But couldn’t drop the fat so I tried all diets out there but would give up when I couldn’t even lose a kilo in one month.. So I’d give up with the food have a cry and buy strong fatburners that would drain my adrenals and leave me feeling exhausted and down and so the cycle went and realizing that my dream of transforming my body and enter and entering a fitness competition would never happen. But reading your blogs has given me hope that through this program you are offering I will be able to lose 15 kilos to get the physique I want and achieving my goals … Thanku ;)

Hey joel, I wake up every morning excited to seee what new information you have sent to me, I’m gonna be honest I heard about you from isable de lorosi…and this was just recent, I have been a yo-yo dieter for the llast 6yrs or so, and all my efforts have been a waste as we all know thoes diets never work and in the long run we just end up with way more body fat then we had befor the LdietsL.I’m excited to learn more about your a weight loss tips, I’m know ill be able to stick to the plan for life because. Will lokk at it as simply a lifestyle change, not a LdietL, that what gets me everytime, knowing that I’m on a diet stresses me out and I always feel guilty if I eat one LbadL thing, I love your new way of eating, still very unsure on how to start it, I’ve been doing it ever since I started receiving your emails… Only a few days now, I’m just not sure if I’m doing it right, arbs one day none the next??? I need some seriouis help, I’ve managed to gain 50lbs in 7months and its very noticable, and I wasn’t small befor this gain neither, I’m miserable and don’t know what else to do… Please help me joel, you are my last hope, I’m tired of getting sucked in with all the other expensive tricks.. And I admit they get me every time, what a waste of thousands of dollars!!! Thanks for taking the time to review my information… In health and happiness… Bobbi

Hey Joel
nothing has worked for me before, yet following your program I have lost 16lbs of FAT in the last 4 months. Now I don’t crave or dream about what I am going to eat on cheat days because the diet you have me on is probably about right for me. So the big problem is what to eat on cheat days, is there a list of foods that will give maximum lepin levels? I hear Pizza mentioned a lot so I have made a booking at the local for Saturday(my cheat day)
thanks from downunder

My wife is 73 and I’m 74. As others have done, we’ve done everything we know about nutrition, diets, organic foods, no junk food, etc. and still piled on the weight. We are both interested in becoming teenagers again, 113! It looks like the only way there is your programs that read like a miracle. I look forward to a lean, lithe body that will joyfully carry me through life to my goal. Thanks, and wishing you well.

I work out and eat fairly well; I even track my meals. I just can’t seem to lose the excess weight however. I’m excited about the possibility of this book being the paradigm shift that I need to apply to FINALLY lose weight.

Hi mate,

Look, lets be honest, this is an awesome approach to nutrition.
EVERYBODY wants to be lean and ripped but EVERYBODY wants to eat what they want.

This diet is excellent because it gives you the best of both worlds. Anybody who is serious about health and fitness can follow a healthy, low carb, low calorie diet for most of the time.

HOWEVER, most people love having a ‘blow out’ and gorging on carby junk food (me included!). This approach actually ENCOURAGES you to eat the foods you want AND lose weight, it doesn’t get better than that!

This sounds like a real solution for ‘normal’ people living ‘normal’ lives!

Thanks for your consideration buddy.

I’ve been on diets on many an occasion and have succesfully lost weight as well. However, I’ve never been able to keep it off. I’ve always cheated and paid the consequences thereof by gaining all the weight back plus more. Exercise is not a problem, it’s just eating properly that’s the problem and I have a weakness for carbs. The carb’s cycle is something that I could definitely benefit from. “Cheat your way thin” especially during the holidays; I have serious doubts about this??? However, the only way to see if it works is to try it

My journey started in February of this year. A buddy and I decided to start hitting the gym. We wanted to “get ripped.” It started out great. From a less than impressive 5′9” and 170 lbs, I dropped to 155 by early summer. That was when my troubles began. For the next four months I tried everything I could think of, in conjunction with every new piece of confused, conflicting, and even misleading piece of information I found on the internet. Simply put: I was stuck! I collapsed into my deepest despair in early October, finding myself frustrated, reduced to daily Subway trips and many late night donut runs.

At the end of October I found my salvation quite accidentally as I stumbled onto the website of the man who sent me your way: Mike Geary. As I read his blog entries and cruised around his site I found my passion revived furiously, nothing would stand in my way this time! . Driven , I tirelessly researched nutrition and exercise. It was time to do it right. I believe your program would be another powerful step in my journey of doing it right. Your free content has rang true by example and my own attempt at leptin management is underway.

Finally I must confess my powerful sweet tooth. This is why I believe your program represents the perfect synergy of my love of fitness with that of chocolate. I would be honored to be chosen to receive a free copy!

Cheers,
Matt

Hi Joel
Its pretty simple for me. I am a fat diabetic and my health depends upon leaning up. If not I will be dead within the the next decade or so. Your Help is greatly needed.

Hi Joel

I am 5 foot 8.3″ and 130 pounds. This gives me a BMI of about 19.5, however, I really struggle to keep it this way. I have an underactive thyroid and no HGH (I take 150 mg of synthroid a day and have weekly injections of HGH) so my weight maintenance is pretty hard as you can imagine - I used to be heavy before I was given synthroid but to get the weight off even then was an effort and I trained 3 hours a day 5 days a week and I basically didn’t eat - the Dr couldn’t believe I wasn’t morbidly obese given my circumstances.

I really like your cheats - I have heard of one cheat day a week but the variety during the week is helpful for me. In addition, I like the like the fact that you don’t have to spend hours in the gym everyday - I work out 4-5 times a week but I find it a chore although I used to love team sports when I was younger. I think your 20 mins a day will help me get fitter (and is short enough for me to sustain the motivation) so that my cardio capabilities get better and can do the sports I used to love - I miss them and want to enjoy them again! I already know about HGH deficiencies causing weight issues but had never heard of leptin - I think this is the missing link for me being able to eat well, keep fit without the silly restrictions on food and training I do now - I would really appreciate your help!

Thanks

Hi Joel
I have been on the lifelong quest for perfect proportion without having to maintain excess muscle mass - this year I have come closer than ever to reaching that goal.

Initially thinking that losing 10kg would be enough, 19kg later I think that 4kg more would be perfect. Since March I have gone from 100kg down to 81kg with a 3 day double split routine and have tried many strategies.

I am at the point where there is no longer any room for ‘trying’ things, I need to be exact to do the final detailing. I have been aware of cheat meals, leptin levels, and the need for consistency for quite a while. I have dumped all supplements because unless your diet is perfect you are only supplementing a bad diet which is a waste of time and money. I’ve had far better results without them. I would however like to learn about carb cycling properly and your research is a well quantified answer - not too much overwhelming info, just enough to fill the blanks.

I know that I will reach my goals by Feb or so by sticking to my guns, but if I can get better guns (or free ones) then maintenance of my eventual proportion will be effortless. I’m going to buy this thing anyway so in the event you don’t pick me, consider this a ‘thank you’ for confirming some of my long-term nutritional suspicions, and giving me the evidence to back it up. Have a good one Joel.

Hi Joel,
I am a 51 year old mother of 5, grandmother of 4. I lost 3 family members to cancer and am watching my brother suffering the effects of diabetes. I have tried Weight Watchers, South Beach, etc, but I can’t stay on program. I am by no means obese, but I have way too much of that dangerous around-the-middle bellyfat that I must lose.
The info you have shared over the last week has taught me so much about the way things work that I never knew before - traditional dieting being a starvation diet and ruining the chances of losing, hormones, cheating - incredible science! I am sure this could work for me and so welcome the chance to be able to do it - and am read to do so!! Thank you for all you are doing.

I have been closely following the updates that you have been sending out till now about this program and the science behind it and I must say that these were facts that none of the other fat loss programs that I have tried ever spoke of. I was completely unaware of these concepts which sound far more realistic to help obtain the desired results than any fat loss program that I know of till date. Though I know that any fat loss program may not give exactly the desired results, but, the best part of your program seems to be that there is nothing to lose even if the results don’t match exact expectations as we would not be DIETING and starving any more to lose fat!

Hi J
I’ve been reading your past 6 updates. I’m really intrigued to find out that you can actually have a love without checking up on yourself of what not to eat. I LOVE FOOD. I enjoy cooking and entertaining and always get compliments for my efforts and the taste of my creations. One thing that always hits me when the guests leave is, I HAVE CHEATED. Not a nice though. Having to start checking calories and an extra hour in the gym is NOT NICE. Thanks to your info, I FEEL EXCITED to learn more and be able to apply whatever I learn to my daily routine and be able to lose weight in doing so. I’m enthusiastic about LIFE. I’m about 30kg overweight but I’m getting married next year and would love to be thinner and SEXY for my Husband 2 be. Please do not stop your helpful e-mails to help people like myself in need of being able to LIVE LIFE to the fullest and still eat what and I like and getting away with it.

Please consider me for this special offer.

Hi Joel,

Since I hear about your program a few days ago, I have been hooked. Every day I’m looking forward to hearing more about the program, and am anticipating great results. I recently lost 25 lbs but like always it is sooo hard to keep it off. I will be the first to admit that I cheat and eventually sabotage my own efforts. It would be wonderful to find a program that I could “cheat” in and win. I am motivated but it does get discouraging to get stuck on a plateau and never seem to get off. Your program sounds like something that could work for me and many of my friends and associates. Can you imagine losing weight during the holidays! If it works, that’s what I’ve been looking for, and I won’t hesitate to tell it from the mountain tops. Thanks for sharing your program.

Hi Joel,
Thanks for the great information thus far. I am eagerly awaiting your cheat your way thin eating calender you mentioned on your last blog. I need this not just for myself, but for my mom and my sister. They need a little boost in the weight loss battle. My mom was recently diagnosed with diabetes which runs in her family. Both my mom and my sister are about 40 pounds overweight. They are obese. My mom has also had high blood pressure for a while. So I need this to help my sister because I don’t want her to take the same path my mother is on. My sister will definitely be hit with these diseases earlier than my mother did. Yes I too have a few pounds to lose, but I really want to help my mother and especially my sister with your program. Thanks Joel!

Chris

I have been in a very intense situation for the past 2 years. I have been the main caregiver to my terminally ill husband who recently passed away.

I had very little time for my self and gained some weight as well as losing muscle. I am now in the beginning stages of re-inventing myself and feel this is the perfect time to try something new like your program.

I have found that many of the “lifestyle” changing programs are little more than fancy diets and am hoping that this plan is really different.

If I were to win one of the free copies it would be that much better.

Thanks, Edith

Joel, I am a mother of 2 small boys. I still have 20+ pounds of leftover “baby weight” and my “baby” will be 3 on Saturday. Over the past several years I have been very interested in nutrition and have done SO much research online. The problem is, for some reason, I have a super hard time putting all my researach into practice. I think I let myself get overwhelmed with all the data and am paralyzed when it comes to actually committing to DOING some of it. I have been searching for a program that TELLS ME WHAT TO DO, so I no longer feel paralyzed. After reading about your program, I feel it is exactly what I need to start getting back on track. Having a schedule laid out for me gives me NO excuses (it is really easy to use my kids as an excuse, but in my heart I know that I will be an even better mom if I finally start taking care of myself). I am confident that following your “plan” (without having to take the time to come up with my own) will FINALLY allow me to get back to my pre-baby self (and probably even healthier and more fit). And, getting to “cheat” too… what an awesome bonus! Thanks for all your hard work putting this together. I know you’ll make a difference in many lives.

I need this book Joel!!! I gained 13 pound from october to january last year and it took me 6 months to lose that. Sadly, most of it was lost due to stress which, based off knowledge i have gained from you, has left me in worse shape then I was in during 2008. I dont want to repeat this cycle over and over. I would be ever so grateful if I won one.

Hello Joel,
I’ve tried so many diets in the past you have no idea. Just like you said in one of your articles, diets set you up for failure and I have experienced this first hand. I feel useless because I can’t lose all my extra fat and it takes a big toll on my self esteem. I’ve spent endless hours at the gym combined with many diets and nothing seems to work. I’ve been reading your articles closely and I now see why nothing has worked. I need a program that is do able and not mentally demanding to the point where I feel I can’t do it anymore. Your insight on using your favorite food to lose weight is amazing and makes perfect sense after reading what you have said. Why didn’t anyone else think of this? I believe, no wait, I KNOW this program is my solution to my fat loss problem. If I am given a free copy of CYWT:HE, I promise to follow exactly what the book says and I WILL lose my fat and I will be able to look at myself in the mirror and be satisfied.

Thanks,
Travis

Hi Joel
My request is straight forward. I have tried just about every fad diet going, I go to the gym 3 times a week and I am careful what I eat but I just can’t seem to shift those pesky pounds. My pharmacist tells me I am obese but then says ‘hey BMI is just a number; be comfortable with who YOU are’ but I’m not, not yet. I have read your articles with fascination and feel that your way is the way forward for me.

Hi Joel,
In the last two years, I have watch my husband, whittle down from 300lbs to an action figure sized 185. In the last two years, I have had two abdominal surgeries and done nothing but gain. It’s like we changed places. I have been working out consistently for almost three months and hardly seen any change in my weight. Although I am getting stronger which I love, I have MS and cannot work out as hard as I would like to. Your plan seems to have the balance that most diets don’t and that I have not been willing to try knowing I cannot maintain that lifestyle, and will gain the weight back. I know that at this point, loosing weight is going to be about diet for me since I have about 15 pounds to loose, and I just have not been able to find balance there. I want so badly to give my Husband the wife that he married…that looks as good or better than when we first fell in love. I want to be more than his wife, I want to be the girl that turns his head every time.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks for your consideration.

@Leonie -
Hi Joel!
Here’s my story.
I am 36 years old. I graduated from high school at 140 pounds. Was definitely over 200 pounds within 4 years from partying and eating crap. Walked into a gym and discovered weights and met an amazing mentor/personal trainer that changed my life! Started lifting weights and changed slightly, then started to eat healthy and my weight went down to 150 within 6 months!
Bought that gym, competed in bodybuilding, and then sold that gym after 5 years….
Now, 6 years later…..had quit lifting weights and eating healthy. My weight is now 168 lbs! I am a personal trainer. I want to be a good role model :)
I am tired of struggling with food and feeling fat. I feel strong as I am back lifting weights…but I can’t seem to eat healthy consistently enough. I crave and eat sugar and crap and am tired of food controlling me. I restart my healthy eating plan EVERDAY! I need help and I need a plan.
Thanks Joel:)
Have a great weekend!
Mel

Hey Joe,

Well at 56 years old and about 20 kilos overweight i have to be worried about my weight. I want to be able to spend time with my gradkids, see them start walking, go to school attend their graduation etc. Everything i tried so far has had limited and inconsistent results which have also not been sustainable. Now i want to cheat my way thin.
Cheers. From South Africa

Hi Joel, I am 5′7 and about 140 pounds, so I don’t sound overweight. However I am slim, so the extra, probably only a few pounds, is hanging under my chest. As a 45 year old, its becoming harder to shift than ever and living in China makes professional help hard to understand. My wife and daughter could also benefit from a program which increases the metabolism, they cannot do much exercise so the extra help would make a huge difference to their well being.
I have been excited by what I have read in the previous posts and as they make good sense I would love to experiment on my family. If it works for us, it should work for everyone!

Although we would do it together, I want the “Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition” programme mainly for my wife. She has tried everything to lose weight, but never succeeded. In our 26 years of married life she has tried all the media advertised weight loss programs, clubs, gyms, delivered foods, meditation, etc (all rip-offs), and works very hard at exercising every day to lose weight. She is very positive: she tells me every day that it is working and that she has lost weight. She refuses to get on the bathroom scales with me looking. Fair dinkum mate, if she had really lost as much as she claims altogether, she wouldn’t exist now. That’s how I know that she is already a compulsive cheater and a “cheat your way thin” will be perfect for her, because she already knows how to cheat and now she deserves to learn how to apply it in your program to get some real results. I know she will do it because she is secretly desperate to improve her shape, wear nice clothes, and reduce her high blood pressure, so that she can tell me, “I told you I was losing weight.”

Hi Joel,
My name is Bonnie. I am a 31 year old girl who has never felt at home in her own body. I have over 100lbs to lose.

At an early age I was told ‘you are so pretty…if only you’d lose a few pounds’ - by my father. At this stage I was only about 110lbs but being 4ft 10″ any excess weight stands out. I grew up believing I was fat and not worthy. Over the years i gained more weight because I tried all of the so called ‘healthy diets’, sure they would work for a while and to lose a few pounds but they were unrealistic and I was unable to stick to them. Thus creating a vicious circle and paving the way to a deep depression.

I have recently become a huge fan for The Diet Solution and The Fat Burning Kitchen but I still need help as I merge their teachings into a food plan that I can LIVE by.

What can I say… I need help. I really NEED help. I’m drowning and need a life raft. I am positive that with your program, I can finally pull myself up out of the abyss and finally become the beautiful and HAPPY girl I have missed out being all of these years.

Bonnie

Hi Joel,
Having a complete plan laid out for me will be perfect I think. Not to have to think about what to eat and when to eat it will take a lot of pressure off. I have read your updates and it seems to make sense. When on a diet before I noticed sometimes that if I cheat a little bit it did not effect the weight loss which surprised me at the time. Now it makes more sense. Getting a complete system will help me stick to a program to finally lose all the weight I want to lose.
Thank you for making this avaliable.

Willy

The holiday season is probably the most dreaded time of the year for bodybuilders, both hobbyists and hardcore alike. What with the sight of those shiny slabs of meat, creamy chocolate cakes and ice creams, staying away from flab and fats is indeed a scary challenge. Especially if you are like me who’ve had a long history of failing to cut out my intake of those “sinful” stuffs. Thus, I really believe that having the help of someone who’s been there and who’s done that would be a big boost for me in facing this eternal adversary.

I’ve been an on and off bodybuilder for the past 10 years and I do admit that I haven’t had any great success in keeping myself off this delectable items during the holidays. Thus, I believe that I need an effective guide to keep me from ballooning into humongous proportions during the season. An easy step-by-step program that would enable me to apply an effective method to eat happily without compromising anything in terms of gaining gats and losing lean mass.

I have read so many supposed to be “revolutionary approach” in maintaining lean mass and cutting off fats during this time of the year but nothing, and I mean nothing, has proven to be effective for me. Hopefully, this new program from you would be able to help me finally nail it down. That’s the reason why I believe I need this one badly.

Give it to me, i’m getting married next week :O
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FOOD and specially carbs :(
weight has always been an issue for me. so whats better than helping me out with information about how i can continue eating and lose weight and stay healthy. Also my post is the shortest so I saved you some time :p

Hi Joel.
As we all know dieting has to become a way of life, not only must one make lifestyle changes in order to become the you ,you know is in you, but to be successful it must be a realistic way of life. The cheat your way thin programe offers this and so much more. It offers you a new look at the “word diet’, cos it aint like all the other programes out there. We all know that as soon as your FAT CELLS hear the word DIET they get out their hooks and dig even deeper into your HIPS THIGHS and especially your TUMMY and try as you want you cannot seem to move it!!!!HAHA But having said that i would love to be the one you choose to give one of the free programmes to cos I sure will do justice to it and then some. I am a long distance runner and have weight to lose on my tummy that is hanging on for dear life!!The thought that I can CHEAT my way THIN does not seem REAL and my little BRAIN is having a hard time processing it so yes I like millions of people would like to see your programme in ACTION. So come on give a young vibrant woman a chance!!!

Two years ago I had a medical exam, and weighed 197 (5′ 10″). I was shocked, and proceeded to loose two pounds a month for 7 months. Then I hit a plateau. Since then, my weight varies a few pounds either way. I eat mostly fruits and vegetables, and occasional fish or chicken (no sweets of any kind). I exercise moderately every day, with not much payoff. I’m excited to try such a thoroughly researched and proven plan.

You are a God sent! Everything you are talking about makes sense. I have been struggling with eating issues in all my life and restricting calories as much as I can, just to end up over eating later. When I’m able to restrict and diet for a long time I notice that my weight hardly drops. This program will teach me how to eat in a “sane” way, and actually enjoy a “normal” size of meal and not to feel guilty about it. So for me this is not just about weight loss but also will help me to get over a life time issue with food. Hallelujah :-)))))) If i win, I would be more then happy to post a “before” and “after” picture. Thanks Joel!

Hey Joel,
To me I don’t even know what is healthy, fattening, unhealthy, etc. anymore. The fitness and nutrition industry has me confused from so many things posted on the internet I don’t know what is true and what isn’t. I’ve tried two nutrition programs, not giving any names, they both had some similarities but many differences. However, these programs made me lose weight ,but very little of it. Then i stumbled across Cheat Your Way Thin, while looking for something new and you seemed to know what you were talking not like other people who just restate basics.Especially now that the holidays are right around the corner I won’t be able to resist all the foods presented to me. Acquiring this system will hopefully get me out of this confusion i live in of nutrition and most importantly, burn the fat I possess.

Thank you,
Fernando.

I am 32 years old and currently weigh 134kg. I have tried dieting in the past and I have realized that it doesn’t work. Last year I tried exercising at the gym and I lost about 14kg. This year I moved into a new province where there is no gymnasium, no health shops and I guess also I have been lazy blaming that on being upset with my company for sending me to work in such a horrible area.
In the last month and a half I have been diagnozed with hypertension due to my weight and just yesterday when I went for my check up after being on the hypertension medication for a month I have been diagnozed with an indication of diabetes (that its guaranteed I will have it if I don’t change anything, the levels are already high). The doctor told me to start eating a diabetic diet to avoid anymore illnesses. So I need your methods to help me first to loose weight and to get my health back on line because at this rate I feel I’m heading for the grave at a very early age and living my kids alone.

My wife has tried all the diets; weight watchers, slimmers world, lighter life.
She lost 3 1/2 stone with lighter life, but has now put most of it back on (over about 2 years).
She loves food, and is a stress eater (aren’t we all?) She’s given up her full time job to try and reduce her stress (to make it easier to lay off the food), but ‘normal’ diets (calorie counting etc) struggle to allow her to lose more than 1 pound a week (which is so disheartening).
I love my wife, and I just want her to be happy. I don’t want / need her to lose weight, but she is not happy with her size.
Please help her regain her self confidence with a copy of this weight loss system.
Thanks

Cheat your way thin is perfect for me because I love CHEESEBURGERS!!!! and working out your the only one that has ever told me I should mix the two to accelerate my progress.
As I was reading your emails I had to keep pinching myself. Not only because you are telling me I can eat the things I love to eat on occasion but it makes sense to me…finally something that deals with the psychological which to me is always the hardest hurdle. You rock!!!

With all the “healthy” influences on TV, in print, in the media, and passed down through years of family ideas, we as a society have lost the ability to properly supply our bodies with adequate nutrition. I believe we need to change the last 80 years of thinking and go back to the basics and teach our families how food can be a life sustaining form of nutrition as well as an incredible form of enjoyment and adventure. I look forward to sharing with my family a new “lifestyle” of eating and promoting health and wellness.

I work hard at exercisung, have changed my diet and still cannot seem to loose weight. From what I have read so far, this might give me the extra bit needed to actually shed some weight.

Not everything that makes sense is inspiring…especially for weight loss. You know, if you want to look good you have stop eating what you enjoy (e.g. pizza) and start spending time in places you don’t enjoy (e.g. the gym).

But the last six episodes have been messing with my head - if what you’ve been sharing is really true (and Im willing to use my own body this Christmas to find out), then i’m onto a total revolution!!!

Sometimes i don’t even go to dinner parties because i just no im gonna fail! However, thanks to the ‘black book’ i cant wait to hit the party scene this Chrissy - between lots of water and lots of proteins i think im gonna manage just fine!!! And im gonna lose some weight in the process? Now this i gotta see!

Joel, you’ve never let me down before (ive already gone from 236lbs to 203lbs thanks to you) - and i know that not about to change - bring on the turkey!

Hi I am 55 years old and I think I have tried almost every diet on the planet and cannot stay on them for very long. The ones I have stayed on the longest - I will lose weight and then I just stop and cannot seem to ever get over any plateaus that happen and no one can really help - they just say stick with it and you will overcome. That very seldom happens. From the thing i have read and seen on your videos - I beleive that what you are saying can help me get that around the middle fat that is hard to get rid of and get the rest of my body back in shape.
Just a note I do believe like you say that you can eat what you like and lose weight as I did find that happened the odd time for me when i was dieting and could not stand not having some of my favorite foods and when I did I lost more on those days than some of the ones I was being good on. So i hope after reading this you will pick me for your free book as I think it can make a big difference in my life where stroke and heart attack run in the family. Thanks

I admire what you have accomplished Joel. Like most of your bloggers I too have excess weight. Diets work for a very short time and that depresses me. Even when I went to a dietician still nothing. Quite a few years ago, more than half my life I had a stroke. Since then I have struggled with my weight greatly. I can;’t exercise too much as my limbs don’t want to play. By reading your blog and keeping track of the goings on I am confident that your program may be very good for me. To get me out of that constant debilitating feeling of not being able to do things. Here’s to everyone’s health and merry xmas.

Joel,
This is the perfect program for me at exactly this point in my life. I just recently completed a 6 week body challenge in which I lost 24 pounds. Now that the challenge is over I am having trouble finding a happy medium between the challenge diet I was on and having the foods that I enjoy. Being only 6 days out of the challenge I feel that I am starting to back peddle a bit. Being a chef my mouth is watering for all the yummy dishes I’ve tried to forget the last 6 weeks. Working at a restaurant/bakery hasn’t helped with the cravings. I still have over 60 pounds to lose before I get to that happy weight. I am determined to meet my next goal to 20 pounds by December 31. I have been on many different diets before and at this point in my life I feel that I am ready to make a permanent change. I that I have always struggled with the mental aspect of dieting by feeling like I am being cheated out of having the “tastey stuff”. When I do “cheat” I feel guilty. This IS the PERFECT PROGRAM for me. I need all the help I can to stay on track and I feel with your knowledge I will finally be able to reach my ultimate goal.

Your program sounds amazing! I feel so fortunate to have found out about you. Your life’s work is my new discovery. I am hoping to lose 15 1bs of stubborn fat that wont seem to come off with what I consider a good exercise program. I will be truthful that I already have days where I eat really healthy & days where I splurge every week. I need the game plan on how to to use these splurge days “cheat days” to my advantage.

Here’s a quick background on me. My name is Lacy. I live in Pennyslvania. I am a 23 year old college student living in the dorms. I am not sure how the “freshman 15″ hit me since I really dont eat pizza & drink beer, like the college sterotype. I do work as a promotional model on weekends until I get my licence as a dental hygienist. What bothers me most is how I feel like a failure. I know I am not living up to my potential. I often feel sluggish & my jeans all fit tight.

To top it off my boss actually told me if I didnt lose some lbs he would have to let me go. “Nothing personal” he said. Well, it hit home to me. It made me realize I’m not the only one noticing the added lbs. I am NOT trying to lose weight to please my boss. I am doing it to prove to myself that I am not a faliure & that even though I am surrounded by people who seem to never let slip up on their clean eating lifestyle. I am going to be a healthy beautiful woman. I admit I am a bit selfish I want to be thin & satsfied. Is that a crime?

Thank You for the opportunity!

~Lacy

Goooood morning Joel!!
Greetings from South Africa. Thanks for taking the time in reading my letter, by sending met the newsletters every day you havent only been motivating me, but one of my good friends aswell. You see, Chloe is quite obese and I took it upon myself to help her in any way I can, me myself..well im overweight for my size. We made a packt that we will motivate each other, do meal plans, exercise together and try all that we can to help each other to achieve our goals. The feeling of not wanting to swim in public, a cupboard full of clothes not fitting and lacking convidence will be a thing in the past if you will grant our wish and help us. Summer has already reached us here in the RSA, so Joel…please please free me and Chloe from our bodily prisons!!! Baie dankie….(Thank you)

Ever since receiving your “Holiday Fat Loss Black Book” on November 11, 2009 I have anxiously awaited receipt of each of your 6 Launch updates with great interest. Having dieted all my life in a desperate attempt at keeping my body slim I can totally agree with you that “dieting” can’t work. I read with great interest your theory on Leptin and would really like to apply this principle in my life. I am soon to be married for the second time round and am desperately trying to lose an extra 15 lbs before the big day in February. For the last 3 months I have been following a high protein low carb diet and thus far only managed to lose 12 lbs and seem not to have hit a plateau. I am convinced from all your knowledge and expertise that you have the answer for me on how to achieve this goal. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Hi Joel,
I’m interested in your program because I’ve always been at the higher end of “normal”. I even have had love handles because I’ve been squeezing into tighter jeans since Gr. 6. Even back then I wanted to prove that I wasn’t one of the chubby kids who didn’t exercise enough. I’ve always been active: Tae kwon do, Ringette (like hockey), basketball, and snowboarding. To my dismay, that doesn’t change my body fat. Last year, I went on a vacation for 2 months; when I came back, I was 25lbs heavier, though my diet hadn’t changed (wonder what the food standards are). I’ve since lost 20lbs, but the last 5. So now I’m 5lbs heavier than before, which wasn’t an ideal either. I’ve always been very academic and when you started talking about leptin my eyes opened; you actually know the facts. It’d be like a dream to get the body I want, intimidate the opposition with my lean physique, and I’d be healthier without the extra weight. It’d be something I never had before. Thank you for everything you’ve done, and hosting such a splendid contest.
Sincerely,
Mak

Hey Joel,

It has been very stressful for me in the last few years. My life has had many ups and downs and I’ve only hit the age of 20. Trying to be a good student, a good son and a good friend to everyone puts a lot of stress on a teen and having to worry about my health adds to that stress. A few years ago, my mother had to have surgery to have a few tumors removed and she is now very restricted in her diet. It’s not that she’s unhealthy, but it’s just the way things are. It gave me a huge wake up call on how something so little as what we put into our bodies can impact how well you can live your life. With all the confusion about diets and what’s good to eat and what’s not, having to worry about that on top of my studies and everything else really affects a person and for that reason, I think your plan would be perfect. I would love the opportunity to try it out and hopefully live a healthier and stress-free life. Thank you for all you have done, you’ve helped me improve physically and mentally with all your tips and keep up the great work.

Kevin

Hi Joel, thankyou for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate all of the information so far. I have been working to drop the excess weight (20kg) I have for twelve months or so now but it has been a slow process since I discovered that I have PCOS (polycystic ovaries). I am told that people with this condition have to work extra hard to lose weight. In the past I have enjoyed many different eating plans but my willpower seems to have run out. It wavers around the two week mark now. I believe your ‘cheat your way thin’ theory will suit my needs and save me from falling back into a state of depression. Yes, I did let myself go after several years of hard training and lost my way. Now I am ready to get fit and resume my life!

Exactly why this program is the perfect program for me at this point in my life and why I need access to this information:
I am a working 46yr/f and my teenage daughters are in and out at such irregular times that there is NO way to follow a regular meal plan for all …which is why yours is just perfect (and why getting it for free would solve another BIG problem!). And then there is just nothing comparable over here in Germany/Europe that I’ve so far come across … just like the online College course I dared to start stateside, hardly being able to afford that, but needing something to look forward to that will also secure the next 20yrs of my working life.. just as following your program and thus staying healthier will!
Thank you :)

I’m am confident your program works.I went to a Chinese buffet last week and was very upset with myself, but that night I received the email about the cheat day. Went to work the next night and was impressed when I got on the scale. Your program is what I need to accomplish my goals. Thanks for all the good information. Brad E Huffman!!!!

Hi. I am a 58 year old lady. I live in South Africa. I have managed to lose 14 kg (30 lbs) in the last 12 months. I am not looking forward to Christmas as I do not want to backslide on my weight loss. I still have a few more kilos of stubborn fat to lose. I’m currently at 67 kg (147 lbs). I do a lot of different types of exercise because I enjoy it and I treat myself to a cheat day once a week. I’ve been on a low GI, low fat diet and progress has been slow and steady. I’ve found your posts interesting and informative. Happy Holidays to everyone. Trish

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the information you have been sending out. This programme sounds ideal for me as I am needing to shed about 15 kilos of post ‘baby’ weight. I am 38 years old and have had 6 children in the last 10 years. Each time I have added a couple of kilos of weight. Now my youngest is one year old and the scales just aren’t shifting! I have a sweet tooth, especially when I’m tired (which is most of the time…) and I like the idea of this programme allowing for this. The cheat days certainly would be worth waiting for! I look forward to learning more about your programme. I live in New Zealand and the main diet everyone is into here is Weight Watchers or Jenny Craigs - but this sounds much more fun and rewarding!
Thanks!
Cathy

I’ve tried many diets over the past 2 yrs and it seems to be short-lived. Everytime I try to loose weight, I end up loosing about 3 pounds (which may just be water weight) and then add another 6 pounds. In the last 2 yrs, I gained 15 pounds and I’m sure it has something to do with my lifestyle. 2 weeks back i joined a gym and feel better but the weight has still not come off. After receiving some of your interesting emails, my desire to understand more about diet has increased. Just to know more about how Leptin works and how carbohydrates of all assist in the weight loss process would be very intriguing.

Now that thanksgiving and the holiday season is coming up, this information would be more useful now than ever.

I’m now 45yrs old and my weight has been a constant struggle for over 10yrs . I have always been pretty active with different sports, martial arts etc when I was younger but since having kids my focus is definitely towards their sports and goals. Although I’ve tried MANY different programs and diets to shed some weight, I haven’t found any that I could keep up. Deprivation just doesn’t cut it! I don’t mind eating healthy food but I sure can’t do that 100% of the time. And the guilt when you do eat what you shouldn’t is just a downward spiral. That’s why you’re Cheat your way thin programme is so appealing to me. Finally I see a light at the end of the tunnell. It’s the most sensible approach to weight loss I have ever come across and seems to be the type of program I could continue forever.
Thanks heaps Joel.
Mick from Australia.

Hi Joel, Since reading about your program I have looked at getting fit and getting the body that I would be happy with in a totally different light. When I was in the military I was fit and lean but since leaving some 14 yrs ago my fitness and looks have dropped some what and I am one of these people that dosen’t believe in diets. Since reading about your cheat your self thin I have been hooked and am always waiting for the next installment. I am looking forward to Tuesday the 24th to get my copy of your program and getting started. So bring it on.

How could I not be excited about transforming my body! I have lost a considerable amount of weight using an extremely low calorie diet, no cheat days allowed, but as I increased my workouts, my energy levels began to drop and my enthusiasm began to suffer.

When I hit the last plateau, I assumed that I could push through it simply by switching up my workouts. Instead of pushing through, it has been more like sliding backwards. My frustration and my determination to live and train lean and healthy led me to your website.

I am simply not willing to compromise my health and building muscle by depleting the caloric intake as radically as I did before, or use chemical methods to enhance weight loss and muscle gain. Listening to the dailies, reading about Leptin, I truly feel that I have found a critical key in unlocking my potential. Thank you Joel !

The holiday season is a difficult time for me, as much as I love it; it also marks the anniversaries of losing my Dad and my Grandfather. I need this program to keep me focused on my ultimate goal, especially during the holidays, allow me an occasional indulgence, as well as build the lean muscle that I know I am capable of attaining. I am very confident that your methods will be the guide that I want and need to achieve my goal of transforming my body and my life!

There are all kinds of reasons why I need this programme - I could write you a huge saga about my weight loss history so far. However I think there are only 2 points you need to know. Firstly I always cheat when I diet anyway , so it would be great to find a program where I could do that & still be in control. And secondly, I want to teach my kids (aged 6 & 4) that it is possible to have a healthy relationship with food- to control your weight whilst still occasionally eating the good stuff. I fear I’m a woeful example at the moment- veering between calorie obsessed control freak and all-out “I deserve the good stuff” glutton. Please help me.

I have tried all diet programs, even so called healthy ones, like weight watchers, or protein or carb diets, but even with weight watchers, which made me loose 22kg, once you stop it, you get all the weight back. I liked weight watchers because you can still eat all the food you want, as long as you respect points. Once you don’t count points anymore, all the weight comes back. That’s why I am very interested in this program, I like healthy and good tasting food anyway, but without having to count points or filling in notes, just eat to maintain my boyd fit. Thank you Joel for all the information which already helped me a lot !

It all started in High School as a desire to be on the wrestling team, but having to cut 30 lbs. to make weight after football season. I would fast for extended periods of time to make 154 lbs. After the season, I would eat and hit the weights to get back up to 185 lbs. for football. After that I worked construction which provided plenty of exercise, but little time to eat right, or to take care of myself. I got stronger, but I also got heavier, and eventually was up to 240 lbs. A co-worker and I lost a bunch of weight over a winter, and it felt good to be back where I wanted to be. Body weight workouts, and eating right got me lean, and I could fit into my HS jeans again. Then came ministry. After becoming a youth pastor, there was plenty of activity, little sleep, and lots of opportunity to eat plenty of “bad” food. But I loved it! After seeing some pictures of myself, at 250 lbs. I decided it was time to do something.

“Body for Life” was the answer. It got me back down to 208 lbs. and I felt great. Weight lifting became my stress relief, and the program taught me so much about eating right. Even then, I never got completely lean. Those “love handles” just don’t go away, and seem to get bigger when I get lazy. A church member gifted me last year with a gym membership, and that has helped me get stronger than ever before. A regular lifting program is great for stress relief also.

Bottom line? I’m very active, and love to exercise and play, but as hard as I try, I never seem to get lean again like when I wrestled. At 49 years old, I almost feel like I’m losing time to reach my goals. Your program makes sense to me, and provides an answer for why I could never sustain weight loss on “protein” diets. I want to cheat, and this program lets me do that while at the same time providing a way to get lean again. Thank you for the opportunity to try the program Joel. And if you allow me to do it for free, it would be amazing! Kevin

Well I’m just going to keep this as simple as I can?!
I’ve got some weight to lose! I’ve been trying for a year and obviously leptin hasn’t been in my favor. And now I know why! Starving myself, binging&purging from the guilt, I pretty much have a weight obsession. I also have a food obsession. Those two obsessions obviously don’t go hand in hand :(.
The holidays is where I always gain most of my weight, and then I spend the rest of the year cycling through diets to only lose nothing.
Cheatyourwaythin seems perfect. To lose weight, instead of gain it this holiday season is exactly what I need! And to enjoy the food I love without feeling guilt?! It’s perfect for me Joel! Making homemade cinnamin rolls with my little neices and being able to EAT them with them christmas morning, and ENJOYING it without feeling guilty at every bite!? It sounds like perfection!
Thanks Joel!!

The cheat your way thin program proves that traditional methods don’t work on a long term basis which many of us can confirm with our own experiences my own included. This program is inspiring in all aspects and everything that has been revealed proves that it can fit into my very busy and hectic life with all the organisation taken care of - major bonus. It excites me to think that my previous dieting concepts can be abolished and healthier me being developed as a result, in addition to still being able to enjoy food and not punish myself with strigent programs that just simply do not work. I can not wait to get started and to start living again with a brand new attitude and with great support included. What more could I ask for from Santa?

Since I’ve always been a little bit on the heavy side and my joy and appreciation for tasty food is well known, this programme would be perfect for me. Since I’ve set my mind on getting well defined and earn that sought for six pack, the diet is the cornerstone missing from my journey towards my dream body at the moment. To have a diet that would not only get me to my goal, but also allow me to benefit from it for the rest of my life without sacrificing the joy that food should be would be a blessing indeed!

Hi, I’m 45 and have been cooking for over 20 years. I have always been a “big” fellow but when I was laid off from my job a year ago I have put on 50lbs in 8months - I had some personal issues and through a bought of manic-depressive cylces put on that weight - all those pills claimed it “normal” and even though I complained to my dr, he wasn’t concerned.

I never dieted - when people would say to me “you should diet” my responce was always “what color?”

I have cycled through boughts at the gym - intense to nothing; I keep losing my motivation to excersive - and pizza and wings one night, to prime-rib the next, stews and rich sauces; I have seen 40 lbs come off and 20 go back on in the past 3 months. Then I make yogurt and live on fruit salad for a few days to try and make up for it, but I keep gaining.

Somehow I need to find the motivation to stick with something that will work for the long haul.

I’ve been overweight ALL of my life. I’ve tried everything that I can afford here in Borneo. I’ve swum, gymmed, done martial arts, climbed mountains, done a combination of all that.

And I’m still overweight. Can I cheat myself thin? I don’t know, but I’d like a chance to try.

Dear Joel,

I must confess I spent hours on the internet trying to look for a medical or scientific website that refutes all the claims that you make about dieting and food. I found none.
I am not morbidly overweight or unfit but the “healthy” weight where I am at the moment is maintained in a very unhealthy way. I constantly emotionally overeat and then go days with eating very little. Having been an overweight child I have made it my life’s goal never to let my weight get out of control. Unfortunately the only way I know how to lose weight is to eat as little as possible and exercise as much as I am able to.
Starting my first office job did not help and I gained weght due to not doing being able to do my two hour exercise routine every day and having to eat lunch in front of colleuges at work. I know that there must be a way for me to look better then I do now without resorting to starvation but I have not found it yet. I know that if I do not start living a healthy “normal” life my struggle with food will carry on forever. I hope that this programme can teach me how to use food as a tool and not see it as an enemy. If it is actually possible to eat and get leaner I hope t eat myself thin, fit and healthy… with your help.

I really had a wake-up call this year, and I consider it a second chance for me. I’ve looked at diets, read them all and walked away from them and just couldn’t commit myself to any of them. I am striving to make some good constructive lifestyle changes that I know I can live with. I am recovering from a blood clot in my leg and my knees really need a break since I carry around way too much weight. This program looks like the most real-life kind of way of living that I’ve seen and I think it would be a big help to me and making the lifestyle changes I need to make in order to continue to live a full and productive and active life. I’ve been inspired to make the necessary changes in my life by the fact that even as afriad of needles as I am, I could give myself the shots to thin my blood to help deal with the blood clot and if I can do that, I can do anything! That had to have been the most stressful thing for me, but it’s been a wake-up call all at the same time. Thanks for sharing the materials with us that you have already shared, and I look forward to learning more!

I am sick and tired of being over weight and am desperate and trying everything I can get my hands on to loose weight

i have done a bodybuilding comp. for the first time in august ,finish 3.#. i follow my own diet .It was a bit unorgonise.I did lose the weight but some muscle mass as well.the diet was very restrictive and boring. Your way of eating sound more orgonise and plasant ,you can enjoy some everyday meal as free day (cheat day).I like to compete next eayr and finish first in my categorie ,and I think your plan can help me a lot …thak you Jacky

Hi, Joel
I’ve been waiting with baited breath for your book to come out! The suspense is killing me. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I’m a physician, and I’m overweight. I wasn’t until I hit 32 years old and went through an addiction. My life is my own again, but my body isn’t.
When I went to a gym and got my body fat tested, I realized in shock that instead of being 180 pounds, I could easily get down to 120 pounds - slimmer than I’d ever been - if I just got rid of the fat. I have tried nutritionists, and everything from Quick weight loss to a million other things. I’ve stumbled across fat burning furnace and am making myself do weights three times a week to build muscle mass. But I know that there is more to it than that. It is insane how confusing it can be even to those of us in the medical profession.
I’ve come a long way just by cutting out most starches, eating three fruits a day, and four servings of vegetables when I can, but my crazy work schedule is making it tough! Please help me to work WITH my body instead of against it, and through me to help all of my patients by being a good example.
Thank you,
Gigi

I’m 48 years old and already menopausic. As you know, metabolism slows down with age and hormonal changes. In order to lose fat, my daily caloric intake is very low. I have problems calculating calories all the time (and frankly, I’m sick and tired of it) and worried of not getting enough nutrients in my diet. Your program looks like will simplify my life by telling me what to eat and when, while still providing room for cravings and still see results. Any dieter’s dream!!

Joel, I recently got engaged to a wonderful woman, and with her still living at home and recently taking a job sitting at a desk all day (going to that from retail and becoming a bit less active because of it) she’s put on a bit of weight as her family eats out on a fairly regular basis, which has shot her self confidence to nothing since she has only one pair of pants that fits properly. Now she had already had a goal of wanting to lose 30lbs already before gaining this extra weight and it’s just killing me to see her like this. Thinking nothing works, that it’ll take forever to work the weight off, that it’s difficult for her (women) to lose weight, and that it’ll just be easier for her to stop eating (which i know isn’t the case, but I can’t explain it to her, as she’s so depressed and emotional which also makes it worse as she’s a depression eater. It’s killing me to see her like this, and I KNOW this program will work for her. I just need a little help in showing it to her, in having the program to give to her, to read over to see for herself what is possible and get her looking at herself in a more positive way, get her self esteem back up, and her confidence up as well, as all I care about is her happiness

Hello Joel.
I’m Zdravko Genov from Bulgaria.I’m bodybuilder.I’m member of T-nation.
I’m fan of Eric Cressey,Mike Roberson.

I saw they refer you as one of the best in Diet Industry. For diet and proper nutrition, you are like Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson for condition training.

I work in the gym everyday, I have plan for the gym.
I have plan for my nutrition too, but I need to fine tun many things like leptin re-feed process.

Actually I’m on my way to the body I want, I have visible ABS, but I need some help for the rest of my journey.
I think you can take me to the next level

Thank you,
Zdravko Genov

I went on my first diet (doctor-prescribed) when I was 7 years old, but I’ve never succeeded in maintaining a “normal” weight for any length of time. Finally, after trying every diet under the sun (calorie counting, fat gram counting, Protein Power, South Beach, Atkins, Zone, Weight Watchers, to name just a few), I simply gave up the constant struggle. But I believe Cheat Your Way Thin will let me take back control of my life and my body. I’ve just turned 60, I’m newly single again, and after spending the last 18 years taking care of everyone but myself, I want to take responsibility for my life. At 5′2″ and 195 pounds, I have high blood pressure and serious arthritis, both of which are aggravated by my weight. I’m starting a new chapter in my life, and I need to make changes that I can sustain throughout the rest of a long and healthy life. PLEASE select me for a free copy of Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition!!!!

Hi Joel,
Firstly let me say “Thank you” for all the hard work you have put in over the years. Your emails have been extremely informative and they make a lot of sense. I have struggled with those extra kilos most of my life and felt guilty whenever eating cake, chips, chocolate and even fruit. No one should feel guilty about eating fruit! I have done some serious high protein diets, sure they worked, but it is always to difficult to continue these extreme diets. I have done meditation and lipo dissolve injections..guess what nothing has worked. Well I am definitely ready to give your cheat your way thin approach a go. I have explained it to my parents (who need a little help as well) and they think it sounds great. No more guilt..just a fab bod. Thanks again from Sunny Australia

Hi Joel,
I’ve been struggling with my weight all my life. Seven years ago I went on a charity bicycle ride from San Francisco to Washington, DC. During that time, I was in decent shape, but was still overweight. Once I finished the trip, I gained what little weight I had lost plus some. After college, I moved to LA to work in film and with the 12-15 hours a day I work, losing weight became lower on my priority list.
As my 30th birthday came around, I decided it was time to get in shape as my family has a horrible heart history. My mother passed away from a heart attack, uncle is on a waiting list for a new heart, aunt had a major heart attack, and both grandfathers have had heart attacks, one of them having multiple over the years.
I lost 30 pounds over a 4 month span, but in the 9 months since then, I have gained 5 pounds despite my best efforts to continue losing weight. I am hoping that this is the program that can lead me the rest of the way to better health and keep me there before it is too late.
Thank you,
Adam

Motivation is the spark that can make or brake humans! After reading your newletters, I feel just that, motivated. All I need, to not have an excuse anymore, is the “Cheat your way thin” download! I am a 43 year old mother of 3 and battles to keep my weight down since forever! I must admit that, since two years ago, I am losing that battle. I am sick of feeling deprived of all the goodies my thin friends can stuff down their throaghts! I am fat with already depriving myself of all the good stuff! For the first time in 2 years I am starting to understand why I can not loose the weight and I know with your help, I can change my life again! This information will benefit me because that can turn my life into a positive and me into a positive, thinner me again with a zest for life to enjoy my family and for them to enjoy me too!

I know that the body has a remarkable ability to heal itself and reverse any condition once we learn to take the appropriate steps. I believe that your “cheating” method sounds logical and sustainable. Why would I say that? Because I’ve had extensive experience in trying to reverse an approximately 30-lb weight gain, beginning in my late thirties, that affects my health disproportionately. You see, for the past six years, my blood sugar has tested diabetic. I refuse to say that I “am” diabetic because I know that my Type II diabetes is reversable. How? Because I did reverse it in 2004 with a vegetarian diet and intensive exercise. The problem? It is very difficult to maintain such a strenuous regimen and makes traveling and eating out extremely difficult.

At times my blood sugar readings have been so high that medical personnel look at me in shock when they see that I don’t weigh 300 lbs. I know that, if I could maintain a 20-lb. weight loss, I could reverse the potential damage of diabetes. I say “potential damage” because I feel great with a lot of energy and no apparent health problems–except the hidden danger of high blood sugar.

In the past, I tried a six-week program of a structured diet of six small meals/day and intensive, slow-motion resistance training 3x/week. I worked very hard to only lose 9 lbs. As I mentioned, I tried Dr. Fuhrman’s vegetarian diet with great success, but found it hard to sustain. I have tried Michael Thurman’s diet-and-exercise program, with targeted resistance exercises and six small meals/day, emphasizing protein, fruits and vegetables. I am still eating several small meals per day, but I love my oatmeal and my toast, so it’s difficult to restrict all carbs, as most diabetics are instructed to do. Currently I have been using the Fat-Burning Furnace exercises and, since he recommends your diet, would love to find a sustainable, long-term eating plan–not diet!–that works in a normal life. I can tell you that my body is geared to survive a great famine because, the minute it notices that my calories are restricted, it goes into shut-down mode and keeps my weight loss at a frustrating plateau. I have wondered how to kick-start the process again and I suspect that you may have the answer. I would love to be considered for the opportunity to explore your solutions.

Thank you very much for the work you have done.

I am always intending to do something about my weight and have only ever managed to stay on WeighLess (SA program like Weight Watchers) for about three months ( - and I did lose 4kg). Life is too short to weigh food, worry about everything that goes into your mouth and to spend a lot of money on doing so, when people are starving all around us. If it is not easy, flexible, scientifically sound and sustainable, then it is a fad, as far as I am concerned! I don’t have the time or inclination to make losing 5-10kg the sole focus of my daily life, so from what I have read in your free posts, I am intrigued that there is someone out there with a message like yours. I want to spend most of my time and energy on doing the things that I consider the most important - but obviously being fit and healthy is a prerequisite for doing those things! And most of “those things” involve people and food! All cheating hints are thus most welcome!!

Hi Joel,

my name is Bethany Grainer; I am 35 years old, happily married 6 1/2 years, and a mommy of two beautiful little girls. I have grown up in a family of four children where my two older sisters were more petite and my brother and I have been told we have the “athletic build.” Both my brother and I have been involved with sports (football, baseball, cross country, basketball, and swimming) for over twenty years. For me, the running and jarring movements have caused my knees to break down and not allow me to exercise as aggressively as I would like. It has been a reality that has been difficult for me to grasp because my mind began to believe that if I was running, I could stay in shape, but if I wasn’t, I would become overweight. In the recent years I have begun to look for more gentle and effective ways to stay healthy, active, and be in overall good physical condition. It feels like I have come to a standstill in my life in the last six years, especially the last four years when I was pregnant or nursing or not getting enough rest each day and night. I have tried many diets and none have helped in the end. My doctor thinks I eat too much and I have been told by other women, “You like to eat a lot, don’t you.” The truth of the matter is, I don’t like eating at all any more because of the constant yoyo, rollercoaster ride I go on each time I purposefully seek to attain my body’s perfect weight for my height. I think of food as my enemy because all it ever gives in return is a stomach ache or extra body fat. I am afraid to eat because of the negative results and hurtful comments from others. It may sound silly, but for me, achieving my perfect body fat weight using your program, Cheat Your Way Thin, seems empowering because I believe it will help me to regain my ability to enjoy food and have a healthier outlook on life. Recently I bought a few books from Rob Poulos to help me get my body and metabolism where it should be by using his weight lifting program. I believe that by incorporating both Rob’s program and “Cheating Your Way Thin,” I will have a 100% better chance of succeeding this time than ever before.
I look forward to working with you and your program and I want to thank you in advance for helping me find the best way of cheating my way thin.

Sincerely,

Bethany Grainer

Oh gosh, if there has ever been a diet or exercise program, I have done it! Years & years of fads, restrictions and inconvenience and now at the age of 49 I am still carrying that extra 14 pounds around with me that I’ve always carried around. Ever the skeptic I subscribe to everything, give it a go and after a week or two I fail… onto the next contradiction. Your emails have got me hooked though and I’m really excited at the prospect of trying something that works(?) I’ve even got my overweight son brimming with anticipation….please dont let me down with another fad. I think I will lose faith in humanity if I come crashing down to earth/reality again….Go on then…hit us with it……. Bring it on, I’ve 14 pounds to get rid of and I challenge you to help me…!!!

Since the age of 20, I have been struggling with fat. Often I get the felling that I put on weight and fat purely through fresh air…of course I know this is not true. I don’t drink and I don’t smoke, my only vice is good food and I just don’t know how to curtail it. When I see food in front of me, all promises, oaths and resolutions fail. Once the first bite is taken, the flood gates open. I just don’t know what is the solution.

Recently I have come across your advice as also that of Isabelle Rios. I can appreciate the scientific methods recommended by both of you ie based on extensive research. It all makes sense, however I live in India and find it difficult to co-relate your recommendations with the types of food available here. But I am trying to work on equivalences. May be you can come up with some generic names. So far i have lost the battle, but with your guidance, I intend to win the war.

I wish you all success in trying to make the world healtier, fitter and disease free.

I haven’t been this excited about the possibility of having a normal life for years. I’ve ordered your book and can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m a 56 year old, 5′7″ Aussie lady and yo-yo between 64 and 68 kilos (usually closer to 68 kilos most of the time). I workout with a Personal Trainer 3 times a week, love free weights, hate cardio!! Low carb, high fat diet seems to work the best, but then I plateau and get depressed. Feels as though I put on weight just looking at carbs. I’m starting to worry that I’m becoming obsessed about the way I look. I keep wondering if the day will come where I’ll just give up and eat cake every day and not care about how I look. I know the muscles are there BUT my body fat keeps them hidden. So, yes, I’m dreading the holidays and all of the extra food. My diary is already overflowing with invites. HELP!!!

Even when I was a regular at the gym, I noticed that, at best, I would get stronger but still look fat. It was certainly not an optical illusion either, as I use a scale at home which uses your age, height, gender and weight, and measures your bodies impedence and then, based on all of these, it calculates your fat%. But after one of the most time-consuming work weeks(including 1 fast-food feast Friday) of my entire career, stepping onto the scale the following Wednesday night was odd to say the least. In all my years of failed attempts, I finally did something right…but I do not know what exactly happened. I lost just under 2 kilos of fat in a week, without even going to the gym once!? I felt…liberated! Perhaps I’m just lazy, but I actually did not follow what you’ve said in your blog. I read it, thought it sounded as though it had a lot of good points to ponder, but I wasn’t convinced. And quite frankly, I am still not sure if what I had just experienced was what you were talking about all along or could my weight loss have been stress related? If it is the former, I WANT more of the same..I want to know exactly when to fast and when to feast (and what I should and shouldn’t eat)!! If however it is the latter, then next week will be the test, as I will be unable to attend the office gym during my vocation(I can’t cook so I’ll probably be living off whatever I can get my hands on and the occasional fruit), so I wouldn’t be surprised if the lost fat just flocks back to the herd..
I am willing to make the change, but don’t know how - Help Me To Help Myself Joel!
All the best for this festive season -
Mishan

I have jogged, slogged and logged until my brain is fogged with the effort of weighing, splaying and flaying chicken breasts, turkey tenderloins and grass fed bison for the goal horizon of lean, healthy, hard, shapely lady muscle. Success? No. Why? Because fat loss takes discipline, and discipline is not a one time thing, it’s a lifestyle. So week after week I plan out my meals, balance my macros, time and cycle my carbs. My meals are mirrored and my ideals are mirrored in my dutiful promise to myself to stay on track with an unstoppable mindset based on a clear, precise, written goal. I never cheat, for to do so would be to cheat myself–or so I’ve been told…until now.

My best friend brings me an apple strudel from the Norwegian bakery by the Post Office. I say, “Thanks, but I can’t.” Her face falls, and funny thing: so does my fat loss. What? I’m as pristine as an acolyte and my girth remains the same? Do I dare cut more calories and risk doing battle with the demons of starvation mode? Leaping leptin! Holy hormones, Marion-man: Better do more high intensity intervals–or else!

I want to be thin, lean, muscular! I mean it! I’ve done everything exactly right for the ENTIRE year: meals, resistance, cardio, mental aspects, everything… except… CHEAT! And I haven’t reached my goals. Cheat?! I NEVER cheat! Please, Joel, teach me how to cheat!

Honestly, I get stressed when thinking about food, and what to eat all the time. This coming holiday my husband and I are going to my parents for ten days, and they are huge on comfort foods. I would love a coping strategy to reduce some of that constant stress.

Hi Joel: I’ve been following a similar diet for nearly a year now. While I managed to lose some pounds, I can’t seem to lose the last few I need to feel comfortable and healthy. It gets too boring, or else I start to feel somewhat obsessed by “being on a diet” (though I tell myself it’s not a diet, it’s a nutrition plan for life)–so I end up always feeling somewhat deprived. I just turned 64 yesterday (”Will you still need me, will you still FEED me-when I’m 64?”), and I have a few health issues: some asthma, a tendency to high blood-pressure and cholesterol that I am trying to control without resorting to any more drugs, just natural stuff, etc. I’m also trying to implement exercise programs–all this between my work as a freelance translator and a part-time grandma to our 4-year old granddaughter, who is, as they say, “special” (she still doesn’t talk and we still don’t know why). It all makes for pretty much stress, which may be one of the reasons I find it hard to shed pounds and keep them off. I feel I deserve some treats on the weekends, but, for some reason, those are the days my body decides to store fat. It gets a bit discouraging to see the scales going up and down, up and down. Though I am allowed cheat days, something is not working. Also, I get confused, because one diet is pretty restrictive about the KINDS of food I’m allowed, the other one I sort of follow insists I should get ALL the nutrients at every meal. Result? I’m stuck. I’d really like to give your option a try and see if, finally, at long last, it is the “diet” I can stick with and not feel deprived, but not gain weight either!

Hey Joel,
I am so glad you are sharing what you know, especially the part about filling up the bowl! I love to eat and it dosen’t matter if it’s a protein shake or a ice cream treat, I love to eat!
So teach me how to eat right and maybe my jeans won’t be so tight! Your telling me I will be thinner by cheating at dinner, this sounds like it will make me a winner!
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication, it’s men like you who will make this a healthy nation! I look forward to meeting you in Florida in January and I shall be lean and mean by February!
I am 45, 5′9″ and 275, I am setting my goal for 205 so I can stay alive!
Here’s to Leptin, I am in!
I am not a poet and now you know it :-)!!!

Hi, Joel! My wife, Edith, has been a WeightWatcher for years and has reached her goal weight on several separate occasions but has had difficulty maintaining it. Her situation became much more complicated when she was diagnosed with renal failure in May 2007 and began dialysis in December 2007, then had a stroke in May 2008 and successfully completed rehab in July 2008. With kidney-specific dietary modifications, the diet/exercise combination of your CYWTH would help her regain the muscle mass she’s lost, improve her core strength and stabilize her weight. (At this point she’s coming back up rather than coming down.) As her primary caregiver, it would give me an activity to share with her and provide motivation for her.

I began having knee problems (ACL reconstruction) eight years ago. Prior to that I led a very active lifestyle and never had to worry about diets. (Same body shape from 14 to 44 years of age.)
Now that I am so much more sedentary, I have gained weight gradually and am about 12Kg overweight. I am experiencing very sore joints and finding walking very difficult. This makes catching buses difficult! (I recently got a temporary job 18 miles away and won’t be able to get a car for at least 6 months.)
I am so aware that I need to lose weight for health reasons, but the whole idea of restricting what I can eat is far too depressing - and so I haven’t gotten started. Your cheating tips would be the perfect motivation to lose weight and regain my perfect body.
Plus - my birthday is on Christmas Day and this would be such a perfect birthday present!

Dear Joel, I believe your book is an answer to my prayers! (literally)
I have just turned 50, and have been thin for the most part of my life. The last 2/3 years however, I started piling on weight steadily - still going to gym 5 x a week, still eating healthy! Can’t lose for the life of me. On my birthday I said, God, either You have to give me something that works or give me peace to accept I am old and FAT from now on! Not really ready for that, so, I am absolutely excited about what you have to offer! PLease help!!
Yours in desperation, Elna

The truth is that I love being healthy, I love living my life to the fullest and I LOVE good food (in no particular order). I just can’t accept that any of these should be mutually exclusive!
Tasty food has always been a big part of my family culture and some of my earliest memories are sitting in the kitchen watching (and testing) some of the glorious meals that my mom and gran prepared for us. Should I really have to sacrifice this side of my life to be healthy and look good?
Lucky for me, my metabolism has allowed me to remain fairly slim. HOWEVER - at 39 (and 2 kids later) I have started to notice that it’s getting harder to not let my appreciation of good food show around my waist. I enjoy gym but can’t get my head around what all the ‘eating/starving plans’ dictate about having to substitute lettuce for pasta and rice cakes for cupcakes for the rest of my life.
Don’t get me wrong – I don’t expect to over indulge every day and still lose/maintain my weight (not without a wand), but I would like to occasionally sit down to a tasty treat without feeling guilty.
I believe that your system and I are made for each other and I can’t wait to read more and put it in practice. Thank you for your updates and I’m looking forward to working together to cheat my way thin :)

Needing this, no, DESPERATELY NEEDING this program and reaping its benefits is the man who proposes to his wife who still shocked from the moment but still said yes, oh of course Joel!
At that moment, when Joel feels that sudden surge of utter completeness and accomplishment for his successful efforts, that is exactly what I’m anticipating to achieve for weeks to come. With this program, not only will I save my athletic status from eating “mommas-love-packed-into-the-delicious-turkey” through “daddy’s-fantastically-mouthwatering-prime rib w/ baby back short ribs” on Christmas, I KNOW that I can accomplish this amazing challenge for the first time in my life, and for time to come without the hardships I’ve dealt with in the past.
Being at a weight class twice lower than your normal body-weight, persevering, resisting, and maintaining it becomes a definite challenge.
There are countless diets I have tried that stresses on health, health, health with of course no junk, junk, junk. Well, on December 11th and 12th which is couple weeks away, I will be competing in a 10-Way Wrestling Tournament that would help determine my spot for the next Tournament in Nogales in January. I strongly believe this program will considerably achieve my goals. Through rigorous training on weekdays, it’s no surprise I’d fall victim to stress factors, leptin shortages, sleep deprivation which causes major weight gain, cravings, aching muscles, and of course the hormone ghrelin surges like crazy! (Thanks Isabel if you’re reading!) Cravings are the killer ones for me but that’s because of my junk-less diet and punishing myself when I have the urge with more squats, burpees, close-grip push-ups, mountain climbers, etc. I need this program Joel, and the days are counting down…

James

EDIT: I think I may have typed about 280 words.

Have tried many diets in past but have never been able to stick to them, Have always ended up with more weight than I started with. Would like to start the New Year and my 50th year in a with a better figure than I have had in the last 19 years and to have a fitter and healthier husband as he has a major op in January and badly needs to lose weight but he loves his food too much.
Pls help us make this year a Very Happy one.
have a happy festive season
Tina

I am willing to make the change, but don’t know how - Help Me To Help Myself Joel! Season’s greetings!

I like staying healthy, and encouraging others through example.

Hi Joel,

I am a personal Trainer(39), gained 12kg’s during the course of last year and this year, just lost the know how!
I am desperate to lose all the weight and be the Trainer I should be, motivating others to do the same!
I try to do the protein and veg diet and could always stick to it but found that lately I am a sugar addict and if I dont get my sugar fix I crave carbs and then a wholel lot of it!
I really need a structured plan to follow and lots of motivation.
Thank you so much for all the great tips and support!

I just had a baby girl this past October 13. Doctors don’t recommend that you diet the first weeks because you can affect your milk supply. But after 9 months I have put on some weight, and I can honestly say I can’t wait to start taking them off, but wouldn’t want to jeopardize my baby at all in the process by doing something that is bad for me, or to shocking to my body, so if I can loose wait without “traditional dieting”, in a healthy non-stressing way, that would be the perfecto solution for me (and for all new moms I would imagine).

Joel,
I have not been able to lose the last 15 lbs that I want to lose to get back down to my high school weight, my goal weight.

I keep myself in decent physical shape with aerobics, cardio and weight training, but with your proven and teachable “Cheat Your Way Thin” techniques your program will be perfect for me to achieve my goal weight.

My toughest problem has been about the food and not about exercise!

The timing of me finding out about your book is great since, I am 50 years old and I really need the keys to keep my body fat down so I am able to stay healthy and trim as I age to 55, 60 and beyond.

Thanks, Joe

@Mishan - Please forgive, I got carried away and typed too much…I’ve re-submitted my post which is within the accepted word count!

Hey there!
Hope you are having a great day! I am! Why because I have felt inspired by the daily messages you have been sending. Is it possible there is hope?
I have been overweight forever; I have done Weight Watchers, Atkins, South Beach, Slimming World blah blah! And of course, they have all worked to a point and then, well you know the score, it all goes back on and some!!
3 years ago I reached a point where I couldn’t go on! I believe in living life to the full and at 14 stone that wasn’t happening (I am only 5ft 3). I started at the gym with a vengeance and started on another diet. I managed to loose 3 stone (on and off), but now I am stuck still overweight (and have been for 12 months) and fed up with being bound up by conventional diets that leave you hungry board or simply craving what you can’t have.
I need a new approach to eating, one that will help forever! No more yo-yos! No more heartache! There have been so many disappointments in my weight loss (a famous writer once said “hope deferred makes the heart sick”) and I have to confess, while in my heart I hope your plan works, the skeptic in me wonders whether it is just another false investment. I’d like the opportunity to figure that out. If it works, I’d make a great advocate of the plan!
Thank you, Abi

I am from South Africa. I don’t no if you now or read about the following people
Max workouts by Shin Ohtake, The fat burning kitchen by Mike Geary , The truth about abs also by Mike, Fast track to fat loss by Kim Lyons and the The diet solution Program by Isabel De Los Rios. I already buy all the above Nutritionist and training experts books. And its great and i have learn allot about the good foods and what exercises to do. And the daily email that i get from them are also great tips. I try to implement there training and i try to eat organic most of the time but still after a weak or to I found myself back to were I started. I really want to tell my friends to buy or subscribe to these people books or block. But if it does not work for me how can I tell them to buy these books. At this point how will I now that your plan will help me and all my friends here in South Africa. We don’t have allot healthy supermarkets here or Organic type of food. So it is really difficult for us to implement a healthy life style if they recommend organic food or food that we must buy from health shops. My best friend is also obese and she try to get pregnant, but the doctors tell her she must first loss allot off weight. She have see about 3 nutritionist. She try to stick to there eating plan, but after a month she is back were she was. I really, really want to help here and maybe is your way of eating the ride way for her to get rid of that extra fat so that she can get pregnant.

After years of finding excuses, I think I need to have the foolproof way of doing things!

Hi Joel,

When I saw your advert on the body acting as a furnace I just had to subsribe (I am a 42 year old female who 2 years ago had a hystorectomy and could just not get rid of the weight which follows after this operation). When I received your E book I could not stop reading and in one day I had read through it and felt so inspired. I have tried numerous programmes before with some results but then ended up with gaining weight again (after the age of 40 it is a constant struggle). Your programme is simple yet very effective. I like the idea of training the whole body at every exercise session for it just feels so much better and is definitely so much less complicated that working out a programme for different body parts for different days. Also the one repetition but to the maximum makes me feel like I have trained - I can feel my muscles growing and becoming leaner with each session. I also got a diet of 5 small meals a day and I am not starving myself. I have become an “addict” to your way of life and cant get enough of your knowledge - so yes I would love to receive more information!
Regards “Your Health Addict”

Hi, I think this is the program for me. It just make so much sense.
I’ve tried every thing I think. I’ve even been a Herbalife distributor for 4 years. Honestly I must be the only distributor who lost 21kg on the products, gained 10 kg back and now can’t shift it at all, no matter how much product I stuff in. I’m so sick of being obsessed with dieting, sttressing about not being able to lose weight and having no confidence in myself. I will give it a go and hope and pray that this time the answer is there.

Hi Joel! Thank you for all your inspirational information so far. My name is Ann and I’m 58. For the past forty years or so, I’ve been frustrated by yo-yo dieting. I have lost weight so many times, only to put it all back on (and more) each time because I can’t maintain the low calorie program I set for myself. My downfall has always been to give into my cravings for favourite ‘higher calorie’ foods and then not being able to get back on track. Feeling that I failed yet another attempt, I would then just keep bingeing on the wrong foods for weeks before beginning my next attempt. I am retiring from teaching at the end of the year and would love to be fit and active to do all the things on my ‘bucket list’. That is why your program sounds perfect for me at this point in my life! To be allowed a cheat day as part of a program (so I don’t feel guilty), would hopefully, allow me to finally get my life on a more even keel. I must say I am very curious as to how it all works, and that’s why I’d love access to this information. To finally lose weight, while still being able to eat favourite foods once a week, would be a dream come true after all these years!

Hi Joel,

I have tried so many diets that I believe that my entire life for the last 10 years is a big diet. I have seen no result but the worst thing for me is the psychological impact that dieting has on me and on my way of living.

I strongly believe that your way is different and I feel that it is exactly what I need.

Thanks!

Maria

Since years I tried to loose weight. I walk a lot to train for the nijmeegse vierdaagse (4days 40 km) I went to the sport school. Did all the good things with little to no effect. This year alone I ordered/subscribed to at least five or more different diets/methods. This look promising because one can eat nice foods so no hunger will remind you that you ‘re on a diet. Guess what, for two weeks I did cardio three times a week, lost 2 kg, several inches but my fat percentage went up! Frustrating!!!!

Hi Joel,
I used to be very active, but retired from rowing and then sustained a very bad knee injury, and I put on a lot of weight (60lb over several years). I have managed to lose a lot on a ‘diet’ but hit a massive wall despite sticking to the diet rigidly. I read your information and was really interested because what you say about plateauing is exactly what I have experienced. I have another 20 or so lb to lose, and I know I have the willpower and motivation to do it (’ve got this far afterall) - I just need the science!

Hi Joel

If anything, but ANTHING, can take the word ‘die’ out of dieting, then I am your friend for life……

With love
Helen

It’s simple - two things.
Firstly, I need to lose weight and being able to do that over the holidays will be an absolute miracle for me.
Secondly, I have never won anything in my life, absolutely nothing.
Cheers, Dawn Grech

Hi Joel. I been dieting and working out. I always count my calories and I don’t feel like that’s the way I should live my life. It’s get’s very hard especially if you are surrounded by a lot of temptations. If talk about it in work, no one cares. Every week there is always celebration in our neighborhood. It’s one of the temptations and I can’t say no to family and friends. The frustrating part I can’t eat anymore of my favorite foods. I’ve lost some pounds before but I seem to get it back. I hate restricting myself and I’m really a food lover. I know I don’t want to spend the rest of my life limiting food choices. I know this program can work for me. I do believe in it 100%. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Hi Joel
I’m 50, a doctor in mental health, what some would call a psychiatrist, and way overweight. Last weighed in at 119kg (262 lbs). I’ve tried heaps of different weigt loss methods and have managed to go from 85kg to my present weight (over quite a few years). Recently tried the points gig but my weight just goes up and down despite being really motivated. (lost maybe 3kg over 8 weeks) One of the reasons my wife gave me when she left me was that I was too overweight. I’m sort of over that now but I crave to get on with life without all the problems and handicaps of being so overweight. I’m cautious about internet stuff but your series of articles seem to be well researched and to scientifically to make sense. The stuff on Leptin was great, but how to use that information? Your series is tantalizing. Eagerly looking forward to more. If its as good as it appears to be, then it needs to be widely disseminated, there’s so many people who need the help.
Warm Regards
John

Hi,
I have been waiting for each email with great anticipation and loving everything I have read - you see food has been a huge part of my life being anorexic for 6 years - pulling myself through that and going onto have 3 beautiful children after being told that I couldn’t. I don’t need to lose alot of weight - I just want to get leaner!!
I would just love to have an eating plan that I can do successfully around my babies and teach them healthy eating too. I love the sound of your plan as it doesn’t cut any food group out, it still lets you have fun with your children, yet it will get me to that YUMMY MUMMY body that I aspire too, so then I can inspire other Mums to follow your plan too and then they too can feel great about themselves. Because one thing I have learnt in my life - if i am feeling great about myself then i can tackle anything!
Thanks for the inspiration, can’t wait to read the full info.

Simple for me, I am disabled, weigh over 28 stone now. Tried everything to lose weight. Cannot get any support from my doctors. So far I have found your advice invaluable. I MUST lose weight.

Why do I absolutely need this program now, because I’m a winner. For the first time in my life I feel like I can proudly make that statement. In the last 4 months I have lost 20 Kg (9 lb). I have worked extreamly hard often hungry and tired struggling through my workouts. Now the “dreaded” holidays approach. Although I’m South African my B-day falls on your Thanks Giving, we do food big in S.A. all MEAT and carb fests. I would love to enjoy my festive season with family and friends without undoing all my hard work. Your program finally offers people a more balanced lifestyle, work hard, play hard. Sounds brilliant to me. Have a wonderfull festive season and to all those working on getting lean and healthy, you can do it, you know you can! Chin up, smile, you looking better already ;)

For me it is simple … I am a dad who has spent too long at a desk working hard and as a consequence have stacked on the weight. My 4 children have now grown into teenagers and I want to lose the embarrassing fat and be fit enough to mix it with them still.
My son has asked me to join a new father - son basketball team, which I consider to be a privilege, one thing in life to treasure. It would be nice to be thinner and fitter and hold my own in this team.
It would be great not to be an embarrassment to my family as I spend more time with them … especially before they become old enough to leave the home.
Thanks for your time and your help on the web, have a great Christmas
Brian

I really need this program because I am so out of shape and i think i am butt ass ugly. Straight up, I feel like crap and I need some change in my life and I think this will help me mentally because I have been really stressed out about a lot of things ESPECIALLY money, the greatest evil in this world. Anyway, I would GREATLY appreciate it if I could have this. All I want is to be happy. :] If I met you in person I would hug you lol :] thanks, from DayDay

I am a 36 year old. The weight just grew on after the birth of my first kid.
I have tried every diet pill on the market , and nothing happened instead I became a different person while dieting. I became moody, irritable & Depressed, I lost my self confidence.I Know your program is my ticket. This method just seems to make sense to me. I’d love the opportunity to try it out.

I gave birth to my first bubs in january of this year! And have been struggling in loosing the last few kilograms! At the moment i weigh no 67kilos been on the program my pre weight was 62kilos, i’ve lost 1 kilo yippee, but i need that extra help to get fit healthy and toned!!!

I am 44, morbidly obese, with high blood pressure and depression. I have a 9 yr old physically disabled son, due to Cerebral Palsy and I am probably the reason why he has this disability due to being overweight and having high blood pressure he was born at 28wks weighing just 2lbs, so he was in a high risk category.

I am in a self destruct cycle of binge eating, dieting and then binge eating again. This coupled with my depression etc has made me a mess both physically and mentally.

I have other issues too which all stem back to my weight and my health.

Please can you choose me to have a copy of your book, as the articles I have been reading over the past week have begun to make me realise that I can do it.

Michelle

Hello,

I found it very interesting to hear about the leptin connection. I still have some questions about the hormonal response. Like if it is suitable for diabetes patients to diet like this.
As a medicine student I am very concerned about preventing metabolic syndromes in patients. If your program woould work like you say it would be not only a “beauty” gadget, but a practicable way for treating obesity. It would be easier if you wouldn’t have to cut out everything, as you mentioned.

So I would like to try your program for myself, to get rid of some stubborn fat, as well as for a future perspective for my patients.
I’m know the tamptation of overeating and I know that bad conscience, it would be nice to have a realistic way of dealing with it.

Your program is perfect because is like a WIN for LIFE!!!!

Hi Joel,
I am a student in University of Münster, Germany. For so I’d like 2 say sry for my bad english.
I’ve always been on dieting since I could remember going to school.
That’s why I’m currently having about 24% of body fat.
I startetd the musclebuilding program by Vince Delmonte and are looking for the
right diet Program for the definition period.
Cause the musclebuilding program will bring me about 10-15 kilo of more muscle AND fat I hope your book would be the right descision to break the cycle of getting more and more bodyfat.
Looking forward for some more information about your knowledge.
Hope that this kind of eating can help me become more healthy and lose that
2 much of body fat.

Having read all the comments here I have to admit that I don`t really need your programm that badly. Although I`d like to lose the rest of belly fat that seemed to be glued to my midsection for the rest of my life this is rather for my own vanity than a health issue.

I’m 64 years old and have been dieting nearly all my life.
For the last 10 years nothing has worked. Maybe this will work!!!!

I lost my husband to a younger sexier woman.I need my slef confidence back.i need to bounce back into life with a bang. Please can you choose me to have a copy of your book, as the articles I have been reading over the past week have begun to make me realise that I can do it.

Dear Joel

Both my husband and I have been obese for most of our lives. We have tried everything, with little or no success. We are at a point in our lives that we know we need to change and loose the weight now, before it is to late. My husband is now borderline Diabetic and suffering with high blood pressure. We don’t have lots of money and this free copy could assist us with achieving our goal PPPPPPLLLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEE HELP US NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Joel,
I have been on many diets, but lack willpower,so the idea of cheatdays sound like a godsend. I had heard some of the things you teach before but the problem is putting all the information together to make it work so i am really impressed by your approach.
All the best for the holidays,
Brigitte

Hi Joel

I’m 23 years old from the UK and have been on a “diet” for as long as i can remember.
Currently I am in week 9 of a health kick where i’m eating all my lean meats, fruits and veggies and doing all the right exercises, but once again after stepping on the scales it’s all been for nothing.
I wouldn’t call myself “fat” but i do have a pot belly that i really want to get rid of as it does nothing for my confidence (my dad actually thought i was pregnant because of it LOL) and nothing seems to be working.
I do have a really large sweet tooth so when i heard of the “Cheat Your Way Thin” programme it seemed too good to be true.
I would really love the chance to once and for all get rid of the belly bulge and start to really enjoy life to the max!

Hi!
This program is amazingly important for me since I am a student athlete who has struggled to lose weight in the past, by trying out some super crappy diets that do not work at all!! Also, your program would allow me to eat pizza, something I love, but have not been eating for like 3 freaking months!!!
I cant wait to have this food item back on my meal plan ;-)

Regards,

Daniel

Joel , as you very well know there is nothing in this world worth having , that is for nothing . There is a price for to pay even if it is unseen for all things .
First know the price , be willing to pay the price , and if it is really what you want
pay the price and look big about it , as I am sure you have done in the past .
Yours Sincerely .

I am 57 years old female. I have been over weight nearly all my adult life. Since December, 2007 I have worked hard, changed my life style to healthy one, did proper weight training and have lost about 50lbs. Now I want to continue with my healthy life and also not starving myself, here I think your program would be very helpful in achieving my goal, because your program makes sense and I would love to follow it.

Hi Joel, I was always thin up until about 15 yrs ago. I have tried a number of different programs with the same results that you talk about in the emails you have been sending - more weight. I am definitely obese now, and I would love a program that allows me to eat my favorite foods and yet lose the weight. I know I need to for my health. My daughter, her two daughters, and my great grandson live with me. When my great grandson was born I was asked to take care of him. I really need to get in better shape and improve my health to keep doing that. He is now 13 mos old and more mobile, so I need to reduce the weight to be around to continue to take care of him. Thank you.

Hello, I’m Whitney, a 20 year old college student. I recently heard about your program and was instantly captivated. I have had an issue with my weight since Hight School, I’ve been “dieting” since I was about 16 and now in college it hasn’t gotten any easier. Seems like I would be extremely motivated when seeing all the skinny, pretty girls surrounding me, so I’d go to the gym 3 times a week and eat healthy, and then I would get so discouraged when I was only losing about 5 lbs in an entire semester. I would then give up and immediately gain the little weight I had lost and usually more. I haven’t been able to do anything that has worked for me and I would love to do this program and see the result I have been wanting for so many years. Thanks for all that you’re doing!

Hi Joel

I train hard in the gym 4 days a week in the morning before work, but if diet isn’t right you could train till the cows come home and not get any results! Getting out of bed at 5.45am daily to find at the end of the week my measurements and weight are the same or moving in the wrong direction is soul destroying, I need your program so that I get the most out of the time I put into training by manipulating my body and its leptin levels.
I’m 30 now so things are not going to get any easier, my ulitmate goal is to stay as lean as possible for life, your program would help me do this. This is a lifestyle choice, not a diet - I need access to this information so that I can unlock the secret to successfully staying lean for life while not depriving myself of the foods I love!

Help me!

ilanna

I dont want to sound evil , but i want to show off to my friends that i can also be sexy like them (maybe even more sexier than them YIPEE).I am tired of them picking on me about my weight. How i will just get bigger and bigger as the years go by as i dont have the good genes they have. Please choose me!Choose me!Choose me!

Hey Joel
My name is Kurt Russell and I’m a teenager who is desperately struggling to get my girlfriend back. She went out with some other sporty, more buff looking guy and that crushed me. Apparently she also thinks I’m too fat for her (which really crushed me).
I’m also really interested in the human body and when you brought up this leptin topic it interested me soo much! I’ve been trying with all these other diets (low carb, clean diet, atkins etc) but they restict me too much and when you mentioned that you could eat all these cheat foods that would help loose weight I thought WHAT! THIS MUST BE THE HOLY GRAIL FOR ME! This program would help me in soooo many ways, so I beg u, please let me in on your secrets. I’m all ears. CHEERS MATE!
p.s your friend John Romaniello is a madd dog by the way!

Hi Joel,
I’ve been reading your Holiday Black Book as well as Rob Cooper’s website and emails. I’d like to be more aware of my food and what I’m eating, but still have my chocolate chip cookies (my downfall as well!) I’m getting married in May and want to look fabulous - thats my goal - but I do not want to “diet”, as my relationship with food is already too master and slave! I’d very much love to learn how to manipulate my food rather than have it manipulate me. ‘Nuff said I think. :)

I can hardly wait to own a copy of CYWT and practise what has been written by you! I have tried to be on a healthy diet for so long now. Tried the cabbage soup diet and saw no result. Tried the Atkins diet and saw myself lose 3 kilos, only to add on 6 when I went back to eating carbs. Strangely, my body will start to crave for dark chocolate pieces, or sausages, or doughnuts or pizza when I have been on days where I was “good” - proteins & vegs & fruits. Even tried the South Beach diet. Tried eating once a day and the rest of the day just drinking water or green tea. It is getting harder to be on any of these diets for 2 weeks! The mojo of these diets have lost its effect on me. It is getting harder to follow a diet which focuses only on protein, etc.
So, Joel, I wonder if it is difficult to be at my ideal weight because of genetics, wrong diets, stress, no support, no suitable exercise workout, emotional eating … Whatever the reasons, I am ready now to put my faith in your system and stop the yo-yoing in my weight!
Thank you and sending you a ball of sunshine!

I really need this to get my life back.I only wear kaftans(Tent Dresses)
I really want to wear normal clothes from a store.
Please choose me as this programme is for me.

Joel, It’s like this. I am at a turning point in my life, and your updates seem to be leading me in this direction. I feel your passion in the creation of your work. I mean this. If you can spend your time trying these methods until you felt it was the way to accomplish your goals, then I have to respect that, and hope to find in myself the same restaint and passion in my life. I do not have a ton of weight to lose, but what I do want to lose would make a dramatic impact on my life. That is why I need this, that is why I am writing this. I need a change, I need a new way, and quite frankly, I think you might be onto something…

I am facinated by this concept. And by reading the emails you have been sending me everyday (thank you very much!), it makes such logical sense. I have, ever since I can remember, fought a raging battle with my “sweet tooth”. The freedom your programme would offer me is something I NEVER thought would be possible. Can’t wait to get started!

Well, in a word or two…It actually works. I`d been on the Bodytrim diet but was always hungry due to the portion sizes. I started the CYWT diet in April/May this year and have lost 60 lbs….Down from a gut busting 40″ Waiste to a comfortable 32″.

Never hungry any more, loads of energy…Love the comments i get from friends/Family who i`ve not seen for a while.

If you don`t win it, go and buy a copy…It really works, and i`m not one for giving free advertising but with this programme i`ve told everyone i know about it.

Thanks
Jon

Dear Joel,

I am a 69 year old retiree, and all of my life I have struggled hard, with excercises & diets. I have probably taken off as many pounds as my total weight today. Only to have it all come back on, even though I work on it every day, trying to be careful to eat healthy. I think your program would be just what I need because I love to be able to have nice dinners, and desserts. But the older you get the easier it is to add the pounds every time I eat all those nice things that do that to you. I’ve always taken pride in my appearance & staying healthy, but it has been a loosing battle. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to take the pounds off and keep them off. So please Joel….send me your program so I can set an example to all the seniors out there, that tend to let themselves grow bigger & bigger, because it’s easier than fighting a loosing battle.

Sup Joel,
I’ll try and keep it short and sweet…
I live in one of the most obese countries in the world, and i’ve weighed over 100kgs scince highschool. I was also in a work accident and had to have surgery on my leg it took me a whole year before i could walk again, I now weigh a shamefully 132kg which i think is something like 290lb, i have tried a few diets but found them really difficult to continue. I haven’t gone shirtless on the beach scince i was 8. By finding your cheat your way thin black book for the holidays, it has given me some hope to try one last thing.

Hi Joel,
Earlier this year, I made the decision to give up my professional job so that I could help out minding my grandchildren - and I have never been happier! However, I have realised that the combination of the “sitting too much” job, menapause and a recent thyroidectomy, have left me with the huge task of trying to rectify too much weight, fat & fatigue. The info I have received from you todate has made alot of sense and I have realised that I need help. I would be over the moon if I was successful - and my husband would be grateful!!
Cheers, Andrea

Dear Joel - After my parents separated when i was 10 I gravitated towards ways in which to control the chaos in my life. By age 12 i had developed an eating disorder that has played a significant part in my life ever since. i stopped ‘practising’ bulemia at 17 but ‘body’ issues from weighing myself to depression & anxiety were a constant for many years after. i am now 36, i have 2 children and have managed to remove so many of the layers of such unhealthy patterns. It has been a real struggle to become ‘body conscious’ in a healthy way whilst unpacking that from measuring my well-being through whether i am ’skinny’ enough. Now i practice yoga, run with my dog and eat well and mork hard to care for myself and my body - but i still struggle with my health and my perception that my body is unruly - as no matter what i have done - even in a ‘healthy way’ - I have not been able to shift my body fat. I really believe your system could help support me to find ways of ‘fueling my body’ in a positive way and achieve fat loss in a positive way that contributes to my overall well-being and helps me to feel good about about my body and my self. I really look forward to working more with your program. Thanks

The Cheat Your Way thin program, from what I have read, can even help me on the other side of the globe - Sydney, Australia. The Christmas holiday months are where it starts to heat up in Australia and EVERYONE heads down to the beach.
With this in mind, I believe the QUALITY information available in Cheat Your Way thin is absolutely vital to my success (both on and off the beach).
I am from England, and so I don’t possess the fantastic genes for low stomach fat OR a nice golden tan, like the Aussie blokes over here do. I believe I need this information to help me give them a run for their money, whilst being able to eat ice-cream in their face after I’ve run off with their babe! :)

I was a size 34 (Europe) before I got married 15 years ago. Hectic work schedules, adjustments to family life and a lack of time for exercise took their toll on me over the years and Bang! - 23 pounds of weight gain. I’ve tried dieting regularly but each time after I stopped, the pounds returned, more fiercely than before. The key reason why all those diets failed is that they required strict adherence to bland, boring foods over a prolonged period. You can imagine what constant deprivation of one’s favourite foods does to one’s morale! Three weeks into the diet, all kinds of craving reared their ugly heads and my resolve would just shatter and I would cave in to them - another battle lost. Feelings of guilt and depression would follow and I would then completely let myself go, BIG time. After a period of binging, I would manage to pull myself together and again start another round of dieting. It was an ongoing vicious cycle.
‘Cheat Your Way Thin’ seems like an ideal game plan to fight the bulge - food variety (means no boredom) and cheat days that allow one’s favourite foods (yippee!) all sound like it could be a manageable lifestyle way of eating. To lose the bulge while still enjoying my favourite foods at the same time simply sounds perfect, especially after my many failed attempts at dieting. My goal is to regain my pre-marital dress size and say ’sayonara’ to all my fat clothes for good!

Hi Joel,

My BMI is 30 and I have high blood pressure as well as high cholesterol levels. I am desperately trying to loose weight before I get further complications.

Regular dieting dose not work. Period. I have tried it for years.

Exercising does not work for me either. Due to my workload, I invariably end up missing my workouts.

I have tried medication prescribed by my doctor. Xenical resulted in embarassing leakage (don’t ask me where!) and Reductil caused palpitations with my resting heart rate at 110 to 120 beats per minutes.

What I need is something that works and fits into my lifestyle. Your program has got promising results from people who have tried it.

At last, something that works! Something that I have to try myself to prove that it can be done. And I intend to start your program as soon as I can. I will be glad to say good-bye to my excess body fat at last and the Damocles sword of more serious medical problems hanging over me ….. with your program.

Warmest regards.

Georgz Sim

Hi Joel,

Just like everyone else I have read with interest and expectation all you have said and experienced many of the pitfalls of other ‘diets’ and systems. I am 55, exercise regularly, eat low fat, low carb ‘healthy’ food and yet still can’t shift the belly fat. I feel cheated by food because I eat so carefully and relatively little yet remain overweight. I would love to become the lean woman locked inside me and prove your CYWT system works.

To pass on an understanding of how food and nutrition work to give us health and a good body image is my dearest wish for my three fantastic daughters. Cheers.!

Hi Joel,
I have faith in you that this program is the right program for me at this point in my life (57 years). 4 Years ago I was obese, had dangerously high blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar and triglyceride levels. I tried many “diets” including the bogas meal replacers etc. Doctor wanted me on mediaction… I don’t take “pills”. He stated that if I did not loose weight soon (back then) I must go on mediaction to reduce the high levels stated or die. I adjusted my “diet” “salads salads and more salads, continued my “average” exercise, in 4 weeks I had lost a couple kilo. At my next review and blood tests, my BP had dropped a little, cholesterol was also down a bit, triglycerides and sugar were still high. But… he was a bit surprised by the improvement so far, he let me continue. To cut a long story short. I lost 13kg on a monotenous diet and hit a brick wall, for past 12 month have not been able to reach the target weight the doc set for me (78kg). No matter what I do.
I am confident your program may be able to break the “dead-lock” and enable me to reach my optimum healthy weight goal. The notion of cheating my way thin is interesting, and the stategic carb loading should take the “boredom” out of my attempt to gain the healthy weight, keep cholesterol, tri’g and sugars down.
Cheers
Vic

I have been on a diet since I was 15. I have battled with bulimia since I was 15. I need a plan that is easy to stick to that I do not feel like I am being deprived and that works. If my diet does not give me all three of these components I give up and go on a massive binge/purge session. I have 2 children and I need to beat my Bulimia for their sake or I fear I will not be around to see them grow up. I have always craved a hot muscular tones cut body but have never achieved this. Please help!

I have been battling weight since I was 16 years old. That was 47 years ago! I have tried every known diet. I have had successes but only to regain the weight back and more. I’ve probably lost over 1500 lbs during these years. The same ones over and over again. I again need to lose about 75lbs.

After reading your information, the plan offers me hope. I want a slim, buff and healthy body and mind. I truly believe your plan will get me there. It would mean more than you’ll ever know to win the program and to be a success in this battle. Your enthusiasm and support excite me and I just know working you and your plan, I can reach my goal as well as maintain the loss.

I am currently under the care of a naturopath who has me on a very restrictive diet giving up all wheat, gluten, dairy, meat, sugar, processed foods etc. I have tried really hard and have been struggling with energy levels, body systems functioning properly, physical & emotional upsets caused by the herbs/ tablets she has given me, plus the constant focus, stress, planning and preperation time. It is all taking a toll. I would sure like to find an easier more enjoyable way of regaining my health and fitness levels. I’m not sure if your program would work for me but i sure would like to give it a try. I believe I need to find a lifestyle change that I would be able to follow for the long term and from what i know about your program it sounds like it fits the bill. I would never be able to do this by myself so having your program would be a guide that I could follow without all the stress and draining that i am currently experiencing. A program that allows me to , or demands that i, give in to my sweet tooth every now & again, that’s a program I really think i could easily follow. Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy. Have a great day.

Well if i won this program it wouldnt be for me it would be for my Mom. The last 6-7 years she had gained weight and thats due to giving birth to us and i noticed that in these 6-7 years she tried everything i mean EVERYTHING u name it, slimming beverages, diets, exercise non stop(and in the end she got tiring then stops), sauna, get a professional coach, and all these time NO RESULT at all! we tried to support her as a family but she never gave up, she literally tried every single stuff in the market in order to slim her body and yet to no avail so I hope this stuff here might help. Thanks

Aloha,

I have recently been searching for more ways that can help my family and myself to become trim and fit in the shortest amount of time. Our 16 year old son was recently diagnosed for diabetes and our physician warned that if he did not lose weight and change his eating habits, he predicted my son could be facing death in 20 years. That was a wake up call for our entire family. We knew that we needed to help our son and we decided to do whatever we can as a family to help him which would also help us too. We went through body cleansing which helped. Then we did a restrictive diet, 20 lbs in 10 days, which dropped the weight quickly. We knew we could not eat that way for too long so we ordered the Food Lovers Diet which helped tremendously. We have now incorporated resistance training which is helping all of us to develop muscle and drop fat even quicker. My husband was able to drop 50 lbs, my son 30 lbs., my daughter 25 lbs., myself 35 lbs. since 8/22/09. We are still not to our goals we set and the holidays will be upon us next week. We are still babies as we take this journey together and any additional inforamtion we can get to help us through the holiday would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joel,

i’ve been a bodybuilder for 12 years already, but everytime i tried to diet down, my body fight with me so hard, every time i lost. especially those summer holiday, those two months i’ll go back to my home country(just like NOW!), my healthy eating fxxked up, coz i always eating out with friends, and after every holiday i gain a lot of weight!!! i have to use over 4 months to diet down, which you know the result is: going back up later, so every year i’m getting heavier(mostly fat mass, not LBM) i have had enough! when i understand why my diet don’t work, and i’m on hoildady NOW, i can’t go back to the non-sense route, i think your CYWT will help me going to the right direction, i really need that! thanks.

Dear Joel,
Firstly I would like to thank you for your generosity in sharing so much valuable information with those of us who are challenged by our bodies storing extra body fat.
There is so much hype and bla bla out there regarding weight loss that it just becomes confusing and sometimes even dangerous.
I have battled with storing more than required body fat since a child. I am one of many who have also suffered the confusion, deprivation, ridicule and even depression due to this imbalance in my bodies ability to deal with calories and the dieting that we all try to overcome it.
I am now 52 years old and have developed diabetes and other hormonal craziness. My body does not want to play the game even though I have tried everything known to man or woman, yo yoing up and down with my body fat content.
The fact that your system is working to control some of the bodies hormones gives me hope that this system will have an answer for me.
I can and will stick to any eating and exercise program, but have found many times that the weight just stays the same and then depression sets in due to another failed attempt and the deprivation that comes from most restricted eating programs. I have had my times of nearly having nightmares about leafy green vegetables, lol, so your program of eating other than rabbit food sounds wonderful.
All the best.
Lyn from Oz

Hello.
I live in USA for 4 years and I have to be honest, I was a size 0 and I was able to eat all kind of food, I mean I was eating chocolate and pastries and sandwiches from Panera, not the healthier food, but most of the time I ate healthy and did my exercises. After I got back home to Romania, I went up a size, did not fit in most of my clothes and believe me I love my clothes. So i began waking up at 6 in the morning for a run, go to work, return home and I did other exercises. I tried to stay on the right track with the food, I am not a woman who eats a lot, but Ilove my unhealthy snacks and sweets, so I tried and tried to eat only the right food, but I can’t.I do it for 1-2 days and go back to pretzels, chocolate, ice-cream. So the bottom line here I can not go back to my size.I thought using your program I can loose weight without giving up some of my favourite foods or snacks.
When I read articles about loosing weight I am saying to myself I can do this, I can be motivated to do eat only the right food, but I go home and there all this snaks and I can’t resist the temptations, unfortunately, that is my problem, resisiting temptations.
Anyway have fun reading all the comment.
Thanks,
Carmen

You seem so convincing and your research seems to make sense. I need help! “Normal” dieting is not helping at all.

I’ve been a yo-yo dieter for most of my adult life; starving myself for a few weeks, losing a stone (14 lbs) or so, going back to my bad ways and putting it back on in a few weeks.
Having recently turned 40 I’ve been reassessing a lot about my life and have decided enough is enough with regard to my health and fitness. I’ve recently started exercising more than ever in recent years and now need the perfect eating plan for me which can be a lifestyle commitment rather than the ridiculous short term weight loss/gain rollercoaster which I’ve been on for too long and which is now making me dizzy!
The fact that I can look forward to my favourite “crappy” food on cheat days in the knowledge that the long term goals are positively effected, rather than yet another “falling off the wagon” moment, would suggest that CWYT could quite possibly be the long term, life changing programme that I’ve been furiously searching for…

I have always been the fat girl of the family. I’ve been called chubby ever since I was a kid and as I grew up, it changed to, “Well, it’s just baby fat, it’ll go away eventually…” However it never did, no matter what kind of diet or workout I tried. And since I wasn’t seeing any results (and trust me, I’ve gone into these things for months at a time and seeing only a very small change and then eventually gaining the weight back), I’d give up, only to try something else again later and failing. I’m so tired of hearing, “She’d look much better if she were thinner…”, so tired of being so unfit for a lot of physical activities that I’d love to do, and so tired of having to put up with a lot of things because of the extra weight I’m carrying on my body. I’m tired of feeling like a failure and feeling like I have no willpower because I can’t make the diets and exercise programs work out. It doesn’t help that I’m short, so every extra pound seems to count more on me than on everyone else. At this point, I just need help and I just really want something that works. I’d like to think that I’m beautiful on the inside, and this time, I want my outsides to match too.

Hi Joel,
I am an overweight, single, old, broke, bored and borderline depressed female that has tried everything possible to drop this extra fat that hangs on me like a Mrs Doubtfire suit. Nothing has worked yet, so I am hoping your program that works on those stubborn hormones will work for me and finally set me free.
Inside that ugly fat suit is a spunky grandma waiting to break free. ( I wish)
I could really use your help.
I also have lots of health issues that I need to address and shedding 30kilo sure would help me live happier and longer so that I can see my little Joel ( grandson) grow up.
Thanks heaps
Lyndell

Hi Joel,

You got me on hormones. I am a personal trainer and what I am becoming inceasingly aware of is that you can diet and exercise like a crazy woman (exhibit a - me) and still not lose a pound of fat or otherwise, in fact my weight is going up and it has so much to do with hormones. If your own chemistry is imbalanced then how do you set yourself up to win. While I take some hormone suppliments, train 7 - 10 hrs pw and eat a high protein diet to help me get my balance, there is so much to do with food, how you eat, what you like to eat and eating a range of foods that have to be in the answer… You have my attention and I am keen to put your practices into place, to be trainer that I desire to be rather than a women who keeps struggling to get the results.

Here’s to our success….

Hey Joel,
I know that I could really use your program at this stage in my life. I am 16 years old and live with a family that LOVES to eat. When I saw your program I knew that it was a God send :). Instead of my family continually pigging out and growing more and more unhealthy by the day I think that you could really help us all by using your ingenious lifestyle to reverse our destinies of becoming overweight while still enjoying our fav cuisines. I, personally have started my journey of breaking the habit and becoming fit summer 2008. My first effort FAILED MISERABLY. I practically starved myself to death, losing not only fat but a huge amount of my muscle mass too. After being accused of being anorexic :( I finally started to eat normally again and gained a large amount of weight. Only 5 months ago have I started to learn the proper ways to to achieve low bodyfat. I am now at around 15% bodyfat and have gained alot of my muscle back in the process( thank God :). Sorry that you had to read my sob story but I wanted you to know my experience in trying to lose bodyfat. The bottom line is that your program can not only help me to come out of this holiday season victorious, but also to share the “wealth” with my family. :)

Thanks

Darryl

Hi Joel, well, here’s another mother of 2 looking for some guidence. As I prepare the meals for the whole family, it makes it difficult for me to be strong and not make the wrong combinations in my meals while preparing their meals. Not that I am a believer in diets, rather in eating the right way and wanting my family to eat the right way along with me! Would love to get a hold of your programme and make it a way of life for my family and myself.

Thanks
Louisa

Hi J,
I’m 44 yrs old, live in the UK and I weigh 18 stones. I’ve read every single report you’ve sent and I strongly believe that this program is likely to help me achieve my goals. I used to be an athlete but as the years roled by, I became more of a couch potato. I really want to get back to shape and good health. Please choose me.

i am one of those people that need to excerise to look good in nice clothes. i am also one of those people that need to have variety and i need to see results quickly in order for me to keep going. having a lot of variey with excerises would be really good. and seeing the change that comes quickly is something i look forward to.
cheers

Hi Joel

At 245 punds and 5ft 9in I know all about cheating. I have a goal to loose 50 pounds, I can mix what I know and what you can teach me to reach that goal.

I have 5 children - I had four of them in my twenties, and the last was a surprise bonus when I was 39. She is now 13, and as well as the five children I have five grandchildren. I have always worked and have not really had time to worry too much about my weight. One of my daughters is getting married in 3 months time and I have just realised that I never quite got round to losing the baby weight from my youngest. Help!!!! I have to lose 20lbs over the holiday period - I think you are my only hope!

a) I love food. The WRONG food. And soda. (Can you say ‘caffeine-addict’?)
b) I hate diets. (see above)
c) The next person that asks me if I’m pregnant is probably going to lose a valued part of their body.

As such, any weight loss program that includes the words ‘mudcake’, ‘donuts’ and (most importantly) ‘Coke’ is obviously going to be met with great approval.

I would go so far as to say that I will name my first child after you, except that I am NOT PREGNANT…

Dear Joel,

I have been overweight almost all my life. I will be reaching 40 soon and my only wish is to stay in good health long enough to see my 3 children (now 7, 5 and 4 months) grow.

Last year, my weight peaked at nearly 275 pounds. I had no strength, no energy and was out of breath almost all the time. I realised that it was high time for me to take control of my life.

I managed to drop 55 pounds over one year but despite all my efforts training hard at the gym, doing cardio exercises and sticking to my diet plan, I’ve been stagnating at 220 pounds for the past 6 months.

Your emails have been a revelation to me and I must admit that over the last week the first thing I did as soon as I reached home was to check my mailbox for your daily tips so I would learn more about how to lose that extra 40 pounds of I am so desperate to get rid of.

From the 48 testimonials I read yesterday, I am now more than convinced that Cheat Your Way Thin program is the missing link that will help me achieve my goals and live up to my dreams.

Thanks for creating this program.

Hi Joel

I have tried a few different programs over the last two years, in that time I have lost approx 3 stone. I am soon to have a shoulder operation to hopefully replace some torn ligaments from a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. I feel that this program would help me greatly during my recovery. I know that i would not be able to exercise too much, but the dietplan I think would be beneficial.

Thanks

Hi Joel,

I need the Cheat Your Way Thin program because it’s exactly the next step that I need to take in order for my weight-loss program to go to the next level!
I’ve been following your updates and I find them very revealing. Some of the things you explained in the updates I’d already known, but the way you described it motivates me further to take it up a notch.
I’m looking forward to your Holiday Edition.

I need a program that is not a diet, but a new LIFESTYLE that is practical, and doable. Cheat Your Way Thin seems to fit this description perfectly. Any diet works while you are on it, but the problem comes when you get back to “real world” living. Like everyone else, I have tried all the diets over the years, losing and gaining weight, but have now hit my 40’s, and need to change for good! I am already eating better foods for the most part, but I need the information to tell me how much of the goodies, and when I can reward myself. Right now I do reward myself but apparently it’s too often, and not the right way or I would be losing already! I think planned snacking/overeating would definitely help me eat sensibly at other times.I have heard about so many programs lately that I am nort sure which would be the best. But I want to find one that works and stay with it for life. CYWT seems to be something that I could live with every day and get excellent results from. Thank you so much for all the other tips and tricks you have already given out in your reports. There is alot of good info in there that makes me want to learn more. May the Lord bless you!

Hi Joel,

Plain and simply I NEED the Cheat your Way Thin program TO GET OUT OF THE DIETING SPIRAL that me and my belly fat have been suffering from for years. My life has consisted of one diet after another, but always the cravings and extreme hunger pangs kick in. My determination has even got me down to goal on several occasions, only to find myself and my blubbery belly returning to their former glory and some… and within a lot less time than my original dieting journey took!

I now have a dangerously high waist measurement which needs to be reduced if I’m to live long enough to see my three kids (9, 9 and 6) make their mark in life. I love life, I love food and I love my kids, Cheat your Way Thin would enable me to continue to enjoy all three!

I have the DETERMINATION, Cheat your Way Thin has the TECHNOLOGY, so please allow your LOVELY LEPTIN LOGIC to help me to finally GET TO GOAL AND STAY THERE!

Cheers my lovely,

Penx

I have been working HARD for the last year–training, working out 4-5 times per week, etc. But the scale DOES NOT move!!! I have been watching my eating– sometimes I think I am eating too little. I am happy with the way I look and my endurance results, but would REALLY love to lost 10-15 on the scale. I don’t know why, but it really bothers me! Maybe this program is the answer…. It sounds like it makes sense to me!!!

Hi
I am 55 years old and I don’t have to lose weight. However I would like to lose body fat.
I go to the gym twice a week and go for a walk on two other days.
I prefer to eat food with as little additives as possible (not processed).
Over time my weight has come down and I have lost inches but body fat especially around tummy, hips and bum seems very hard to shift.
I still would like to continue eating the type of food I do.
Your program sounds interesting and manipulating leptin levels will most likely help my cause.

I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia studying for a degree in Exercise and Sport Science to be a personal trainer and an athletic trainer. Finding time to exercise (and even read and respond to email) amongst the demands of my schooling is difficult in and of itself. But I love to hit up the Ramsey Center and exercise, so it’s not too hard. Eating a healthy diet is much more difficult at school. I commute and am not on the meal plan. I have to pack my lunch–sometimes for days ahead–and really plan my meals. Many times, I end up fasting until evening when I get back home because I don’t want to destroy my somewhat already flailing diet with the convenience of Chic-fil-a and the local Chinese take-out on campus. With all of that said, I want to have the body that I soon will be preaching about for the remainder of my career. I want to use the methods and the knowledge in Cheat Your Way Thin to help my future clients. I want them to see that they can enjoy food AND be healthy AND look great! I want to personally find the balance between chicken and whole foods and the processed, fast foods that America has come to love. I need this knowledge so I may have more control over the body God’s given me and look more like the image He created us to mirror.

Thank you,

Kyle
