I would finally like to have access to a program that allows me some flexibility in my eating. For me its a lifestyle change not a diet. I would just like to find something that I can mold to my eating preferences. I have been to nutritionists, professional body builders and I have found that the programs are too strict or too much of the same thing. I have seen results from these but it just was not something I could follow long term. Who doesn’t like the idea to cheat! I need to know more! I really need a change and I am confident your program will give me the tools to customize a lifelong plan that will work for me. I just recently found out about you through a post from the athletic body system emails and I’m intrigued to learn more. I need to find that perfect fit for me that will allow me to achieve my goals. Thank you so much for putting this information out there! Looking forward to learning more.
I’m going to make this post extremely quick and easy.

I want to get this copy of CHEAT YOUR WAY THIN because I´ve been in so many diferent fat loss diets, and no one of those has been as fun, easy and enjoyable as this one seems to be. I like that it is based on scientific evidence, everything about it makes a lot of sense and I haven´t seen something like this before. I´m open minded and enjoy experimenting with stuff that makes sense, I hope this is a solution for burning fat while preserving all the hardly earned muscle.
I have always been a few pounds overweight since childhood and have tried numerous diets, with little success. I finally lost 50 pounds thru a weight loss center before having my 2 children, but gained it all back plus more since. In 2006 I had a blood clot to my brain and one to my lungs, resulting in cardiac arrest for 6 minutes due to a hereditary blood clotting disorder and an acquired immune blood clotting condition. A coma was induced and I was in intensive care for 10 day, a rehab center for 2 months, followed by months of outpatient therapy. Miraculously, I am more or less fully recovered! God let me live and healed me, and so now I’m trying to live healthier, lose weight and exercise more, but with little success so far. Please consider me for a copy of your program to help me get healthy! Thank you!

I’m 58 year old military retiree living in the Philippines. I have High Blood pressure, Heart problems and Diabetes. Since being diagnosed diabetes last year I have stepped up my exercise program to try and lose weight to help control my blood sugar problems with little to no results after reading the steps provide your program this seems like what I need to succeed in my efforts to get my weight back on track and hopefully to be able to live with out medication or worst case heart attack, stroke, or amputation.
Joel, hi. I have been reading all your e-mails and am very excited to try your program. For over 20 years I have been slowly adding excess pounds to this body. I try to watch my diet and eat healthy plus exercise daily. Since the beginning of the year I’ve lost 35 pounds but I’m at a plateau. I can’t lose the belly fat! This in turn causes back pain. When I see progress with this program , I will be more than happy to give your name to the people that I know. Maybe we can help each other. Here’s to a stronger, leaner healthy body, June
I am a 5’2” 46-year-old mother of six kids. Yes, six! That should pretty well be self-explanatory as to what happened to my once thin 105 pound body……borderline morbid obesity. All the cooking for such a large group (4 at home, 2 married with 2 spouses and 2 grandchildren) has left me with a lot of fat that was looking for love-handles in all the wrong places. I’ve tried everything imaginable, but only managed to drop about 10 pounds. I have been to the doctor many times because I am so tired all the time, and after reading the information you’ve provided, I now know it is because I am “starving” my body and not feeding it the energy foods it requires and at the proper times to keep my metabolism at a level it needs.
Your program sounds more like the type of program I need to change my family’s entire lifestyle. I have 3 children with asthma. As soon as they started taking medicine for their condition, they started packing on the weight to the point of morbid obesity. I believe this program would be one they too could adhere to through meals that follow your program with strategically planned “cheat” days so not to feel deprived of the foods they’ve come to love. Through this program I could still be the best mom and grandma, as I could continue to bake AND eat cookies for everyone without feeling like I’ve failed myself and my children yet again!
Hi Joel,
I started on atkins diet 3yrs ago and lost 20 lbs. After last years Holiday season I gained almost all of it back.( I visited my mother and she is a great cook) This year I started the fat burning machine. I gained 10 more lbs. because of all the water included in this plan.Since I have lost all of the 10 lbs. and I put on a bunch of mussel. But then I quit lossing wait. Just stayed the same for 3 wk.Then Rob Poulos refered me to your web site.I tried your program (just quessing how, from your updates) and lost 4 lbs in first wk. I have thyroid problems and believe that is why I haven’t had any sucsess in lossing wait. but your system seems to help with this. Thanks so much for your help. I’m not sure that I will be able to afford your program, but you have changed the way I diet. Thanks Craig
Hi Joel, I have been struggling with my weight since gaining 30 lbs in 2000 due to Hypothyroidism; then gaining another 20 lbs over the next few years trying to stablize my thyroid. I continue to have trouble taking and keeping off the weight. I need a ‘life’ plan that wil work for me and I feel your’s is it. I have tried many different “diets” that start out good but end in failure because I can’t seem to follow the plan in real life situations. I have been reading your updates everyday and feel like you mean what you say unlike alot of “diet” programs that sound too good to be true. I believe alot of what you say but don’t have the time to research all that you have to find the answers. Thank you for the information you have shared thus far and thank you for this opportunity to start a new direction in my life and to share it with others.
Just as you wrote in your “About Me” section, I am 19 years old and I constantly work out. I planned on majoring in nutrition after getting my associates degree, but I just recently realized that my passion isn’t nutrition in the sense of helping others; it is an obsession that controls my life. I constantly look up information online and in magazines about working out and eating the right foods, and though I have learned a lot I want to regain control so that I can research this information for pure joy instead of senseless obligation. This obsession is not healthy and causes me to constantly think about food all day long. I think about food in simple terms of bad or good, and act like I’m repulsed by processed food so people won’t offer it to me. Though I love eating healthy, I want to regain control of life so I stop starving myself and can develop a self-image that doesn’t disgust me. I’m not fat for I have been an athlete all my life and love physical activity, but I feel as if my body is never going to match my “ideal self.” Through your book, I hope to start seeing food as being enjoyable again, instead of a burden. I want to be able to eat the foods that I term as “bad” and not feel guilty about it. This would truly change my life, so thank you for all your research and this amazing opportunity.
Hello Joel, I have been keeping up with your blog for about a year now and really like to thank you for all the valuable content that you have provided so far. Being a gym rat myself, I have definitely had my share of diet crashes and it was especially painful since sometime of those crashes occurred during my training and sometimes affected my performance because my hardcore trainer took no mercy on me no matter what state my nutrition was in at that point in time. Your scientific approach has revolutionized the way I look at dieting as a way of life and as a significant part of athlete’s physical performance. Before I came across your amazing dieting solution I have tried all the diets out there and was almost ready to quit as my body has gone through so much pain while going through all that brutal experimentation especially since I had to do it in combination with my 5 day per week training. It would be an amazing gift if I could get one of your programs for free but in any case I look forward to reading much more of your excellent content in the near future. Thanks again for all your helpful information.
Dear Joel,
I haven’t tried any diets in the past, for the simple reason that so many seem too good to be true. At first, I thought the same of yours, but I’ve been researching you and your work and have come to the conclusion that with the right amount of commitment and dedication to getting truly healthy, I would have a very good chance of accomplishing my goals with your strategy. I just hit my 30’s and with each passing year, I know my body won’t compensate for overeating as it may have better in my youth. I have to work at it and I have to stick with it. My father has cancer, my uncle has alzeimers, my grandmother passed away due to a heart condition and like so many others out there, I’ve come to the realization that you never know when you’ll be faced with a life-changing event. Whether it is serious illness or personal tragedy, I want to be mentally and physically fit to hand life’s curve balls. I have a deep appreciation of people who set a goal and achieve it by committing to that goal and never losing sight of why they set out to achieve it in the first place.
I’m ready to commit, I’m ready to change. I’m looking for some guidance as I fight to get healthier and stay strong. Of all the diet programs I’ve read about, yours is the most convincing and from what I can tell, realistic. I appreciate your hard work and for providing a truly valuable tool for the rest of us to benefit from. I hope I can be another success story on your wall and inspire others to change their lives for the better.
Thank you,
Manda
Hi Joel, I had lapband surgery in Feb 09 and I am looking to find a way I can eat the rest of my life that is solid and healthy. The surgery helped me go from 293 to 245 but it is a slow go. I can’t live off protein shakes the rest of my life. I have incorporated exercise and I need to learn more about that too. I am trying to eat 5-6 meals a day and I don’t count calories and of course my meals are small. I think you have a great plan from what I have read so far. Thank you for considering me for the prize of Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition.
Hi Joel, I am interested in your plan because I feel in my heart this is something that can truly work for me. I am in my late fifties and has always struggled with my weight. I could never stay on those other diets and they always left me feeling miserable after failing. Now that you have everything mapped out and I can practically eat what I want on my “cheat days” and it is easy to follow, I know this will work. I thank you for all the hard work you put into your plan and thousands will be healtier for it. I will definitely pass the word. Bless you dear.
I am about 125 lbs overweight and am getting tired of the yo yo weight loss I have had lately. I could make my goal with your program.
Hi there, my story is as follows, I’m a forty two year old mother of three kids. My two youngest are 3 and 18mths. This isn’t my excuse for having extra body weight – I don’t have much of that (although I am now at an age that I need to be careful about what I eat) but I am just starting to get into body health and nutrition so I am wanting to read all I can about it so I understand the body and what it needs and what it doesn’t. I believe from what I’ve heard from you that your “Cheat your way thin……” book can help me to learn a whole lot more of what I want to learn.
I’ve only been reading your blogs for only a couple of weeks – I’m info hungry.
I want to learn so that I can teach my kids how to be health and nutrition conscious.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I am 125 lbs overweight. Cheat your way thin will get me where I want to be. And Holidays I really need help.
Please can I win your awesome product!
The Cheat Your Way Thin Program is a perfect fit for me as I am one of the sheep who have tried every diet to come down the pipeline whether they made any common sense or not. And of course, I have failed to reach any of my goals by a mile. As a 5’9″, 288 lb truck driver, i’m desperate for help. Physically and mentally this program seems to chalked full of common sense and great insight. I know this is my key to having a better outlook and feel on life for myself and my family. With the way i’ve mistreated my body over the years, i’ve stolen as much of myself from my family as I have from myself. That all changes NOW!!!!!
Hi Joel: I’ve read all the updates you have posted about Cheat Your Way Thin and it really makes sense. I have been struggling with my weight for some time now and can’t find the program that makes sense for me and that I can stick with long term. Your program appears to be one that both provides for healthy eating but allows those cheat days that we all need from time to time to actually stick with a plan to lose weight. I have a high school reunion coming up next year and I would love to look fabulous when I see all those old faces (especially that old boyfriend). I want be confident and hot! Thanks for the opportunity and looking forward to using your program.
Hi Joel,
Thanks for offering 5 free copies of your program. Why I think this program is great for me is because I own a personal training and boot camp company and have had really good results with my clients, for instance, a recent client losing 33 pounds in 4months, however I have had a few clients who just haven’t been able to lose the weight they want to despite exercising really hard and following the nutrition formula I give that works with so many.
I was wondering the reason might be because they are already pretty lean, i.e. each of them only needs to lose 10 pounds or say 15 pounds at most. They’ll see some weight drop but just haven’t met their goal weight yet and so maybe your strategy of strategic cheating the secret they need to implement so finally break past their plateaus. So it would be a real blessing to me to help them achieve their goal weights and your program might just be the tool to do that :)
Thanks for considering me.
Roland
Joel, this program sounds like the missing link that can finally allow me to push past the plateau I seem to hit with my fitness goals. Rather than a plateau my progress comes to a screeching halt before I reach my ideal body weight, when I cave in to that need for sweets and carbs. I am rabid about reading labels and trying to make nutritious choices to the point my family riducules me at every opportunity for “being on a diet all the time”. I would love to be able to eat those “forbidden foods” and still stay healthy and fit. As a personal trainer just starting out, I feel I should be in optimum shape so clients can see I practice what I preach. But I have been unable to give up the starches and fruits long enough to get me there. I can avoid these foods for a short time but ultimatly I cave in to the temptation and lose the battle and then I’m right back to square one.
Knowing that each week comes a day I can give in to the cravings and still reach my goals seems like a pipe dream. I’ve read 2 separate reports now about the battle with the hormones when you try to reduce your caloric intake and it makes perfect sense how cycling your food keeps your metabolism humming along. I would love to see for myself that this program works and is not another hyped up diet that cannot be maintained for the long haul. Thank you for all the reasearch you’ve done to help all of us struggling out here. Stacia
hello joel! how are you , hope your fine! i have been keeping up with your blogs for five months, and thanks for you because you help me so much regarding my concerns, im single and buzy type of woman, i have no time to do such thing to loss weight, but im willing to arrange my time to help myself. If you still remember, i told to you already regarding my problem, im not so fat but i just want to remove totally my belly fats and i forgot to add before regarding my big fats on my armpit, and i cannot wear sleeveless dress because of that, and i want to increase my muscle tone on my legs, hoping you will provide me the free copy of the item your offering, its really difficult for me ti diet, or to eat such food that will help me or not to eat foods that is not suppose,. so, until then, im hoping for it, im sure it will help me a great! thank you and godbless!
REDEMPTION: That is why CYWT is the right program for me. As a former LeanBody Challenge “champion” (second place, age division, Spring 2003), I am aware of the time, energy, and discipline needed to succeed in body transformation. And indeed, it was very demanding, but very rewarding. But, alas: time, injury, disappointment, and waning discipline have all taken their toll on my accomplishments…BAM!!! the bodyfat is back…transformation has once again occurred, but now, in reverse… Oh, how the mighty have fallen!
As a father of 3 lovely girls, I realize that my health demands a “real life”, obtainable, and reproducible plan that can be incorporated into everyday living…one that I can follow without marginalizing myself from the family at dinner time, and one that I can share with my wife to help her to her goals as well (she wants those “last ten” off too…).
Finally, as a physician, the concept of leptin is extremely fascinating. CYWT is a refreshing breath in a sea of confusing information. Patients suffering from the ravages of obesity would certainly benefit from seeing a true, live example of how to improve their health through SMART and SCIENTIFIC nutrition.
“CYWT: Real Life. Real Nutrition. Real Results!” (and did I mention REDEMPTION?)
Joel, this is the perfect time in my life to begin your program! Life is great because I’m a survivor! Breast cancer is behind me and I plan to make the most of every day I’m given. I’m ready to be fit, have maximum energy again and “leave it all out on the field” as I live my life to the fullest!
You are “spot on” when you say diets don’t work…I’ve tried that route. Keeping my leptin levels up to keep my body fat burning while carb cycling as I become fit can work for me. My favorite part of your plan will be the “cheat days” that are allowed…I plan to enjoy every bite of these days. Hearing the inspiring success of the 48 men and women encourages me that “I really CAN” succeed with this program.
I have signed up to run “a leg” of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon and plan to run every step of the way! With the “Cheat Your Way Thin” program helping me, I know I can succeed. Thanks, Joel, in advance, for helping me achieve my goals. I’ll see you at the finish line! :)
i am fitter than my friends ,i drink less alcohol than them ,i eat less than them alas i am twice the size they are .have you really worked out something that really works and understands why some people are larger than others , i am now so sick of bad science and morons who use peoples hope/desire to make alot of money. I read a chat where people flamed this poor women for being overweight , they told her to stop eating so much and go to a gym ,they were really ignorant probably because they never had weight issues and never read up never ending papers on weight loss that more often than not contradict each other
