Hi Joel – Thanks for this opportunity – I, like so many others, have tried every conceivable diet – even down to giving myself injections and limiting myself to 500 calories a day – yeah I lost the weight, but it’s back. Hi Joes
The reason cheat your way thin is so ideal for me is because I am probably the fussiest eater ever. I do not like any vegetable except raw carrots, raw celery and corn. Fruits are limited too but are the mainstay of my diet while trying to lose weight. Dieting is extremely hard for me because of the lack of food I will eat so being able to cheat with my favourites like pizza and french fries once in a while keeps me from starving. To learn which foods are good for me to eat and how to combine them would be so helpful as I find the subject of nutrition very confusing. I quit smoking 19 months ago and it’s the 25 lbs I put on that I am now trying to lose. Thank you for your diet.
Hey Joel,
I am 27 and my husband is 29. We have been married for three years. Between commuting to work and studying for tests, I always feel strapped for time to devote myself to what I would call a healthy lifestyle. I feel like the pounds have gone on slowly, but they are much harder to get off. I have tried several different “diets” over the past few years. I am down around 10 pounds from my maximum weight a year ago. I am trying, but I am just not getting the results I need!! My 10 year high school class reunion is fast approaching and I want to look like the the “old” me. My husband’s 30th birthday is in a couple months, and he feels the same way. The other reason I really want to figure out a system that works is because my husband and I want to have a baby. I just keep thinking that if I can’t get the weight off now, how will I ever be able to get the weight off after having a baby and live a healthy lifestyle? :-( I have been listening and reading your updates everyday. They make so much sense to me. I am tired of all these stupid diets that are a joke. I am very excited about your system because I need something that is simple and fits into my hectic lifestyle! I need your help and can’t wait to get started to living a life with less baggage :-)
Hey Joel,
its me Björn from germany. I’m 17 years old and i wana become a fitnesscoach and nutrition expert. I read everythink i can get. I also try everything i read, that i know how it works. So when i read your last updates i was a lil bit shocked because this is a lil bit diffrent to what i heared the last years. So even if i was shocked by your updates i understood everything and it was logical for me.So i decided to test your program so for this i need YOUR support that you sent me a free program ;)
I allready own the programs from Vince, John Barban… so it would be great if i coud save money^^.
I mean who didn’t wana look epic naked. Everyone wana look great even if they say no. So give a 17 years old, hard working boy a good start and chance to become one of the best experts out there.

Hello Joel,
I started looking looking at the Cheat Your Way Thin diet because I was looking for a program that my wife and I could turn into a lifestyle. I have read from you and others that you have to eat healthy 90% of the time and still lose weight. I have read about Lepin before, however, I have forgotten about it, so it was good to read again about its powerful properties. I have never completely learned how carbohydrate cycling works or how to apply it but from reading your lessons I see how powerful it can be in weight loss.
The Cheat Your Way Thin diet is perfect for my wife and I because it is a plan we can incorporate into our lifestyle with out feeling like we are depriving ourselves of life. My wife’s biggest challenge is sweets and wanting to cheat, seeing a plan and having goals I know will us eat some bad foods at the proper times and still become thin. Our weight problem has caused us issues with each other and our ability to meet and go out with others. We need this information so we can get our lives back and not be afraid of what people think of us anymore. Both of us have to lose 50+ pounds of fat inorder to achieve a healthy weight free of weight related complications and disease, and to help us have children. Please help us get our lives back.
Your Friend,
Sean
I have been struggling with my weight my whole life. I have tried every diet on the market; I got temporary success on some of them and some of them I couldn’t even stick to long enough to get results. I hate dieting and find it hard to stay on many diets; they are usually too restrictive and some are slightly unreasonable. Cheat your way thin seems different, because I won’t have to starve myself and I will be able to eat a variety of foods, which will be an entirely new dieting experience for me. Dieting and exercise has helped me lose weight in the past, but I can NEVER EVER lose those last ten pounds. This program sounds amazing, almost too good to be true, but if it works the way that I think it’s going to then I will FINALLY be able to lose those last ten pounds. It has been a very long and hard battle to get me where I am today, but I think that cheat your way thin could get me to where I have always dreamed of being! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!
Hello Joel,
I have been a personal trainer since 1998. I always felt that the “diet” information presented by the “experts” fell short. I would see a client that followed the recommended protocal and saw results for a few weeks but they would come to me frustrated because suddenly they were stuck.
I never bought into the extreme calorie restriction diet. I don’t fall for the “pop a pill” approach. I cannot stomach the various powders and liquids that are marketed for weight loss or gain. Most importantly I have a strong aversion to synthetic chemicals in my food.
I began teaching my clients to eat natural foods following a low glycemic plan and while this approach works I can see my clients struggling with the “restriction” of some of their favorite foods.
Following the program during the week seems easy for them but the weekends always posed a problem. Your strategic cheating approach is genius! You give the science behind your approach which is greatly appreciated but given my experience I intuitively know that this is the lifestyle that will produce results consistantly.
Just as you have admitted in your video, I am human too. At this writing I am 50-60 pounds overweight. I stumbled across your program just over a week ago and I can’t wait to put it to the test! Thank you!!
Hi Joel,
From what I’ve read about the CYWT system, I’m convinced that this is the absolute perfect life change for me. For as long as I could remember, I’ve been trying to lose weight. Recently, my husband and I have been on the protein diet in an effort to lose weight and get into shape. We are extremely busy working full time, attending school and working to grow our community youth ministry. I can never stick to the all protein diet simply b/c I crave sweets badly, especially when I get stress. I think the cheat day is great…plus, being able to eat rice & pasta throughout the week is a godsend. I look forward to getting my copy of the first diet i’ve come accross that I feel, with much certaintly, I will be able to stick with.
Joel,
On March 19th I will be 50 years young. I want my body to match my attitude and my energy in life. Right now, there’s a disparity. I have about 15-18 pounds to lose in order to look great, which is my goal by my birthday. Shortly after my birthday, my husband and I will take my high school senior son on spring break with the rest of his class. For once, I would like to look respectable in a swim suit. I know I’ll never be 18 years again, and I have had 3 children, but I would like to lose the flab. I have been following your e-mails. I even submitted a question to your webcast session; “Can I eat stuffing on Thanksgiving?”. My sister is very over weight and quickly heading down the path of Type II diabetes. She could really benefit too! My husband has about 10 pounds to lose and he wants to be able to take his shirt off on spring break and not be embarrassed. I would really appreciate a complimentary program!
Hi Joel,
I work at a bank and we are all trying to eat healthy and get in shape. I love your emails and I have had much success with your ebooks. I would love to get a copy of cheat your way thin so that I can share this with my co-workers. Hopefully that in turn will convince them to check out the other things that you offer, and we can become a healthier group!! Happy Holidays! :)
Hi Joel,
I am curious and intrigued with your plan. As many others have stated, I too have run the gamut of diet plan after diet plan, with some initial success. Then the excitement and motivation wear thin. I was very inspired by Terry’s story last week and can only hope that if she can do it, I can do it. She sounds a lot like me. I am looking for a life plan not just another diet.
Dear Joel,
I have had Crohn’s disease since the age of 15, and have had some success controlling it with the new therapies that are emerging. You can imagine what a shock it has been, after years of poor absorption of nutrients, to suddenly start putting on weight like crazy. With my doctor’s help, I’ve tweaked my dosages so that I’m still getting the maximum effect of the wonder drug without continuing to pile on the pounds. I am at a fairly stable weight, which is good, except for one thing: it’s about 25-30 pounds over the ideal weight for my height and bone structure, and it’s not coming off. Given that Type 2 Diabetes runs rampant on one side of the family and I have an extensive family history of osteoporosis on the other side, I need some serious help. To make things worse, I already have damaged bones from the courses of Prednisone that I went on throughout the years to control flare-ups and inflammation. I am on osteoporosis medication at the grand old age of 29.
This seems like a program I might be able to use even with my dietary restrictions, and I would love to win a copy and try it out. Thank you so much for all the work you have put into developing this system. Thanks also for the opportunity to win a copy and for considering my entry into the sweepstakes.
Sincerely,
Lauren
Hi Joel,
I have been very intrigued with every newsletter you’ve sent out. I, like so many other people, have fought this battle pretty much my whole adult life. I have tried many “diets,” even some “lifestyles,” and have not been able to maintain them in the long term. I just got married and found myself at my all time high and past the dreaded 200lb mark. I’ve recently been following a new program, eating more healthful foods, making more of an effort in going to the gym, doing both resistance and cardio, but the people who have had success with that program are still going to the gym on average TWO HOURS a day. I just don’t have that time, so am afraid that even if this is successful, I will fail in the end. Besides that, I love to eat! You have done exceptional research for the rest of us, and for you to put it all together in easy to understand terms, a calendar, and an explanation as to how it all works – that’s amazing, and I’d love to be a part of it. Thank you so much for this opportunity – believe me, I will share my success with everyone I know and send them all to you!
I have been trying to lose 20 lbs for months, my friend have been dieting for 6 months trying to reach a goal of 50 lbs= and not able to lose even 10 lbs! This sounds too good to be true – and my past experiences have shown that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually had a catch. My friends and I have been doing the slow-burn exercises for several months, and it is advertised as being great for building muscle, but not burning calories or causing weight loss. If I win this book, we will be trying your method, and if it produces weight loss without any extra ‘gimmicks’, or stuff to buy, we will spread the word to everyone we know!
Hi Joel, I totally agree with your technique of tricking the body. Unfortunately I don’t know how to do this without over/under cheating. I recently lost weight and toned up but I’m having a real struggle with my belly. No matter what I do, I just can’t get it to flatten out. I have pulled up all kinds of websites to seek information that will help me beat this dilemma but none have worked so far. Doesn’t matter what I eat, how many exercises I do, it’s not happening for me so I must be doing something wrong. I’m hoping your program will make the difference I need. Thank you for all your very informative newsletters.
Regards,
Mirella
I stumbled across your program. I was diagnosed as being type II diabetic, with high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. For one year I took all the medicines and then decided to change it. I lost 43 pounds and suddenly I am off the medications and healthier than ever, but I still have more to lose. Any lifestyle eating program has to be sustainable and must work. I need a program that can become a way of life and change my relationship with food..not just restrict food or calories. I believe this program can take me to the next level and provide me the right venue to live a healthy life. From what I have seen and read – this is the thing that I need to continue on my journey or healthful living.
Based on the all of the responses so far, Joel – looks like you’re going to have a tough decision. My story is similar to their stories but I am definitely willing to buy it when it comes out next week! Looking forward to it!
Good luck to you with your decision, Joel!

This program seems ideal for me and my lifestyle. I have three young children and am actively involved with their lives from helping with school work to coaching them in their various sporting activities. I also work full time and completing my masters degree program in Systems Engineering. It has been a struggle for me to eat right consistently since I am on the go so much. My main motivation to stay thin and fit is so I can enjoy all the activities with my kids especially competing against them in basketball, football, and soccer. This program seems to fit in to a busy lifestyle in that I can schedule cheat days and at times go out with my kids and have fast food burger, fries, and a shake. I have been successful on other diets although during the holidays it is a real challenge. I would love to enjoy all the holiday treats and not have that guilty feeling of cheating myself and even cheating my kids of having a dad who can not play with them because he is overweight and will injury himself. From what I have heard this program is the solution.
I have always found many diets to be “too restrictive”. What is the joy in counting calories and points of what you eat and/or eating foods that you dislike just for the sake of weight and fat loss? I believe that following a healthy diet of foods that you enjoy with some cheat foods here and there is the best way to stay on track and enjoy life while you are at it. I would love the opportunity to discover how I can continue to eat healthy and enjoy the foods I love as a new way of life. I’m a strong believer that along with eating wisely, an exercise program has to be included. I joined a fun “boot camp style” exercise program 7 months ago, lost 25 lbs, but being older at 45, it is harder to lose weight than when I was younger. I would love to incorporate your Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition plan with my exercise program and not feel guilty about enjoying the good things in life.
Dear Joel,
Wow….250 words or less. That’s hard for me but I’ll try!! LOL I have ALWAYS worried about my weight and dieted ever since I was 10yrs old. In North America, what female hasn’t, right? Because of medical reasons, it was highly unlikely that I could get pregnant. When I finally became pregnant in 2000 I was thrilled. I am so blessed to have two girls, now 9 & 7. As blessed as I am to have them in my life the reality of the pregnancies was not such a blessing. Gestational diabetes, severe edema and 24/7 nausea & vomiting for the WHOLE pregnancy was not such a blessing. The only thing that helped to keep the nausea at bay was to constantly eat but veggies made me feel even worse. Carbs, starches & protein were the only thing that helped for the nausea, but NOT for weight control. I ballooned from 150 to over 250 pounds. I lost some of it but then gained it back during my second pregnancy and I have struggled to lose any of it since. A few pounds here and there but it all comes back PLUS MORE. Trying to stick to some of these diets is almost impossible if you want to stay sane and be a decent mother, wife or friend. The cravings, the highs & lows are crazy. What I have read so far about your program seems to address ALL of the issues that I have found to be such obstacles in the past. It would be such a blessing to receive your book to help lose this weight once and for all, especially with the Christmas season approaching so quickly. Thank you for this opportunity and I hope to hear from you soon!!
Blessings,
Kelly Cassidy
Hey Joel, Jodi here..my highest weight has been 235 which occurred a couple of years ago. In 2006 I got busy, went to the gym, hardly ate anything and lost down to 170, which was great. Then I met a guy, started eating just normal again and gained 30 lbs. So this time it has been a lot harded to lose, even thou I am back at the gym and watching what I eat. The most important thing I have learned through your emails, is that cutting back isn’t the answer. I believe that my body has gotten so use to lack of food that it makes it a lot harder for me to lose weight now. So, I am thinking that the ‘shifting of calories’ is a better way to live and want to explore that as a new life style. Thanks – looking forward to the release of your program.
I feel that this lifestyle eating is flexible and doable. I’m Italian, and grew up with pasta, pasta, bread, bread, olive oil and more olive oil. These things are very hard to cut out of my diet. Plus, I have arthritis and need to lose the weight to lighten the load off my joints. People say you need to exercise more, but if you can’t move, it’s difficult to do. I have tried juicing, atkins, low fat and limited caloric intake and still can not get rid of the belly fat. I already have had one hip replaced and I want to do anything to prevent me from having to get other joints replaced. Please get me started on your program!
Hi, Joel!
Thanks for all the excellent information so far! Being in the Fitness Industry myself, (I’m a dance-fitness instructor and yoga instructor here in Canada), I know how hard it can be to live up to the expectation of always living a healthy lifestyle. I’ve always been a fan of “moderation”, and I’ve also been lucky to grow up on an acreage where I’ve enjoyed fresh, organic fruit and veggies for my entire life. The thing is, once I started teaching fitness classes full time, (sometimes up to 25 classes a week!) I knew I had to start eating differently. I know that based on how active I am, I can pretty much eat whatever I want, but I long for more structure. I long to know that I’m eating the right way, with enough fuel to get me through my classes. It would be just an added benefit to lean out a little (drop body fat %), as I’m not looking to drop a lot of weight. I’ve always had an interest in Nutrition, but things change so fast with what’s “in” and what’s “out”… I can really see the sense and the science behind your program, and it would be amazing to incorporate it into part of MY healthy lifestyle, so I can continue to be a healthy role-model to my participants, and also so I can pass along your information to anyone else who is looking for a life-long journey of healthful eating. Thank you again!
Hi Joel,
I have been reading your blog on and off for about a month now and something that really stands out at me, is that there are a lot of myths and teachings out there that are counterproductive! Growing up, I had some extra flab and although I’m not overweight, I definitely was not in shape either. It didn’t help that rice and breads were a big part of my diet, so when I first received your report on leptin the first thing that I started doing was loading up on veggies and meat and reducing the amount of carbs. I also started doing some serious circuit training and lost 20 pounds! I am working on building a business but want to have a no excuses mentality when it comes to my health. I want focus on gaining muscle mass and becoming truly healthy. Just like everyone, I deal with confidence issues from time to time and getting this area of my life taken care of would not only give me a feeling of accomplishment but also inspire the people I care so deeply about who also are going through the same struggles to take initiative and stop neglecting their health. Not a week passes by where me and friends/family don’t bring up diet and exercising and thanks to your reports/blogs I have been able to point out what has worked for me and more importantly why. (Btw, My friends love your stuff too!)

I’ve been looking forward to the release of this program. Growing up, I was so thin that as a teenager, I tried using weight gaining shakes to try to put on some weight. When I married, I was 99 lbs. at 5′. Who knew that all it took was having six kids? Now at 46 years, I weigh 140 lbs. I’ve always been a fruit and veggie lover, use pure evaporated cane juice or sucanet, limit myself to whole grains and eat lean meats. I also try not to eat anything from a box or containing preservatives. Bread and pasta is my weakness. Having fibromyalgia and hypertension has slowed me down, but I refuse to be on medication the rest of my life. I’ve recently begun weight training and cardio and my energy level is beginning to climb. I see a Naturopath because I want to solve my health problems, not cover them up. I need an eating program to complete the picture. The idea that I can look forward to a cheat day will control the urge to randomly eat something “unhealthy”. Everybody has to cut loose some time, but this sounds like a good strategy to do so. BTW, I enjoy your emails; great tips!
