Well, being on a diet basically is the story of my life – and I’m tired of it! Any diet one can think of I’ve been on and failed too :/ I have come to a point though where eating habits and lifestyle (not just dieting) are becoming more and more important and I have been doing research on food and excercises for quite some time now. Two weeks ago I read about your program and have been following your updates too. A gal like me who loves her ‘bad’ carbs very much – İ must say this is a program I am very excited to try and adopt as a way eating – permanently! I’m inspired and motivated by all the success stories from people who have been on you program and I cannot wait to start! This will be the most exciting holiday season ever!
I’m going to make this post extremely quick and easy.

could do this. I can do Fasting. Thanks Paula
In college, I was the “fat friend”. Well that was 15 years ago. Since then, I have lost 50 pounds and kept it off (woot woot!) Now, I just want to take it to the next level. I am not fat by any means and if I told anyone that knows me that I’d like to lose a little more fat and be in better shape, they would just roll their eyes at me. But why just look good when you can look FANTASTIC?! I’m going for figure model physique and maybe your book would help me achieve that. Either way, love reading your stuff! Keep it coming:)
Hi Joel,
I’m really excited to try ‘Cheat your way thin’ this holiday season because it sounds like the perfect program for me. Being a competitive swimmer since age 7, I have always led an active and healthy lifestyle. Growing up as a student athlete (with a naturally lean build and high metabolism) I couldn’t seem to eat enough. So, it was easy for me to eat healthy but also treat myself to not so healthy favorites like enchiladas and cookies and not gain an ounce. Now that I’ve graduated college and finished my competitive swimming career, I am still very active, but needless to say, I’m not in the pool 4 hours a day training anymore and thus I have to watch what (and how much) I eat…which can be very challenging for me with my huge appetite! I have gained about 8 pounds since graduating college in 2008 and I’ve noticed an increase in my body fat. I want to lose it now, for good. My mother has been overweight for years and I cannot and will not let myself go down that path. I need a program that fits my lifestyle and allows me to splurge on my favorite foods; ‘Cheat your way thin’ seems perfect for me. Please consider me as a recipient of a free copy of your program.

PS I’m trying really hard to get my mom to do the program with me this holiday season!
Mine is the classic, probably boring story of a mother of 2, struggling to get rid of the weight my beautiful daughter number 2 decided to leave behind as a memento of the pregancy. I want to enjoy my life, children, husband and food!!! I am interested to see if this really is possible? I hope that your program can help to make this a reality:-)
As I sit here with crackers in hand (hard typing this way), I keep telling myself there has to be a better way. I’m perfect on my diet for a few days, but then my carb and sugar cravings get so overwhelming that I eat as if there is no tomorrow. I’ll eat until I have to lay down because I feel sick and then once that sick feeling is gone, I’ll do it again and again all day long. I’ll overeat until the skin on my stomach has been stretched beyond it’s worst nightmare. And, let us not forget when my emotions come into play, I’ll eat non-stop. Now that I’ve over eaten, AGAIN, I am, once again, very angry with myself. Why do I keep doing this to my body? How do I stop the cravings and stop over-eating???
I think this would work for me at this time in my life because I have a very busy household. We have five children ages 11-18 and four of them are teenagers and I homeschool. I have had the children in quick succession and have always maintained that last 10 pounds and now I have 15-20 to lose. This is a program that allows cheating and I can’t go on a diet without my brain working against me and wanting those cheats. I also love carbs and apparently this diet uses carbs to my benefit and I can do that!! I like to work out and have a membership at the local gym but get discouraged when the workout doesn’t go with weigtloss and so I am excited about trying this new way of living.
I have 9 children and each one has added a few extra pounds. The only time I have been thin is when I was literally starving myself. I was eating hardly anything. It is hard to “diet” when there are so many around wanting “the good stuff”. Everyone in my household could use this program and it is getting to the point of being necessary for some to shed not just a few pounds. In fact I am afraid for the health of my 13 year old as well as my husband. I know this would work for me as well as them. Especially with the holidays coming up. How can you say to a 13 year old, “Sorry, no pie or Christmas goodies”
After attending a pool party in the summer where I felt extremely uncomfortable with my appearance, I decided I want to invest in getting myself to a place where I am no longer dreading taking my shirt off in public. I hit the internet hard on research to find the smartest way to accomplish this goal. After hours of reading about hundreds of diets and supplements and subsequently about how they don’t work and why, I stumbled upon this site. I started reading through the information on it and was hooked. When Joel started up Transformation Domination, I must have been one of the first to request my copy of the initial issue which changed my perspective in life and my goals. I believe this program is the perfect fit for me because I have always been the type of person that wanted to work smarter. With all the research I have done (google) and that Joel has provided (6 years of his life), I feel this is the RIGHT program that I need to know in order to start building the foundation for my new life. I believe that with this program I will have long lasting success in my transformation and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
Hey Joel,
Firstly thanks for all the updates..Well I’ve been try to lose since many years but all along in school and college things have been bad for me cause I was very fat..Also I really don’t have much idea about nutrition and I keep messing up with fat loss because of that..My bro and I live together and both of us have the same prob..We can’t possible hire a personal trainer..and our diet, I feel, is affecting even our health cause we make a lot of bad choices I guess..so no fat loss nor perfect health..So I’d greatly be benefited from this program cause losing fat will in turn lead to better health and thats what my main aim is..Thanks a lot.
Joel, I am a 59 year old female who had been actively attending my gym 5 days a week and loving it. Last January 2009 I had a heart attack and had to have open heart surgery with 7 by-passes. My doctor has released me to do any exercises I feel comfortable with. My problem is I just can’t seem to get motivated again. I find myself being very tired at days end. I am an early riser and get up most mornings at 5:00am. By the time I get home from work I’m exhausted and usually fall asleep around 8:00pm. I really want to get back into the exercise regime and hope it will boost my energy and give me some weight loss. I have gained 20 pounds since my surgery and I’m sure it has to do with having such an inactive life. Thank you.
At this exact point in my life, I want to conquer the world. Everything is spread out for the taking, and it’s just urging me to grab it all! I want to meet a guy who can make my world spin, I want to see my career take off, I want to go crazy and have fun with the people I meet and the friends I have. There’s so much opportunity. But every single day, there is this one single thing that keeps me from living my life to the fullest.
Every time someone comments about my size, I feel insecurity well up inside me. Presentations I’ve worked so hard on amount to nothing because I can’t even muster up the confidence to showcase my work. I hide away in my house; because I can’t bear being seen by other people’s judging eyes. And all I can do is look as the guys I like go for other girls who are prettier and thinner.
My weight is keeping me from living my life. That is WHY I NEED this program. I need it so that I can really live the life that God has given me. I need it because I’ve tried for years and nothing has worked. I need it because it gives me hope that I can really and truly change. I need it! I can’t wait for the day when finally, nothing is stopping me from taking this world by storm.
hi joel…
i’ve been reading the personal success stories and the daily emails you send out and i must say, it almost sounds too good to be true!
i’m 56 years old, from british columbia, canada, and have been on various diets for most of my life. i even had a VBG (vertical banded gastroplasty) surgery 20 years ago. this was supposed to make it impossible for me to NOT lose weight, as it left me with an opening to my stomach that is the size of an aspirin. i lost 40 pounds at the outset, then the weight started creeping back on. the end result was that if i eat bread or most meats, the food gets stuck, and i’m in lots of pain and discomfort until i vomit!. i lost 90 pounds 7 years ago on the protein plus system, but over the last 4 years its been coming back again. your program sounds like something i can live with easily, not just physically but emotionally!! cheating regularly??? wow!
the last couple of years i’ve been finding my job more stressful (im a barista) and i know its partly due to my weight gain, and partly due to my depression about the weight gain…endless circle of guilt and eating….ive been exercising and running, and still no weight loss. i truly feel your program may be my last chance.
seriously hoping to win a copy of your program….lynne
I have always had a problem with my weight, I was the chubby kid no one wanted on their team. Through diet and exercise I kept it under control for a lot of years, until recently. Now it doesn’t matter what I do, the weight just seems to hang on and I have regained all those pounds I lost plus a few. My metabolism is shot from all the dieting. I love food, and depriving myself is just not going to work anymore. I want to find the thin person I know is hiding under all this fat and get back my energy levels.
Hi Joel, I am a 56 year old woman that knows nothing else than “dieting” my whole life. I am 5’3″ and I weigh 159 lbs. (according to last week at Weight Watchers). Yes, of course, I am a lifetime member only once in almost 30 years have I ever actually achieved my goal weight of 140 lbs. I rejoined this past September and have lost a total of 4.2 lbs., one week I gain, the next I lose and then I might stay the same for a couple of weeks. I starve myself, I exercise and deprive myself to no avail. I have thought for many years that my body is in “starvation mode” like you talk about and it’s time to break this cycle. I am exciting about your program and can’t wait to get it next week. Cheat your Way Thin sounds like the answer to my many years of struggles with weight. I am about to be a grandma in April 2010 for the first time and would love to be in a lean, fit, healthy body for my new grandson! I want to be around a long time to enjoy him and more to come! I’ve been married to the same wonderful man for 35 years and we both need your program Cheat Your Way Thin the Holiday Edition. Thanks Joel; you’re really on to something good!
Dear Joel
My story is the same as those from all the above people.
I am 59 years old, young at heart ,looking a bit younger than my years, but unfor
tunately quite overweight.I tried to loose weight unsuccessful for years.I also have a daughter of twenty. She is beautiful but overweight.I dont want her to be so unhappy with her weight. She makes jokes about her weight, but I know better.
I like your common sense approach to fat loss and love the tips from the Holiday Fat Loss Black Book.Cheating is also possible without feeling Quilty. Sounds Ideal to me.48 persons comments and their before and after pictures can’t be wrong. Real transformation is proved possible. Thank you.
I would like to use this program in conjunction with the No-Nonsense Muscle Building program of Vince DelMonte. I have been following his advice and I want to get rid of the extra fat around my stomach area so that I can have a ripped six pack. However, I still want to enjoy my favorite desserts…Cinnabon and the Cheesecake factory.
I would also like to get the majority of my family and church members involved so I must first lead by example.
I’ve been interested in the CYWT program for a few months now (I have been reading your blogs for over 6 months). It blows my mind that this type of program can work but your explanation of the science behind it (the leptin response) completely makes sense! I have over 100 lbs to lose and I’ve lost it before but gained it back after I went off of a very strict diet because I was frustrated with constant plateaus! I think the CYWT program would be one that I could stick to for life because of the cheat days. On previous diets (of which I have been on several) they were always very strict and I knew at the time that I wasn’t going to be able to stick with eating that way for life. I want to be on a program that is a new lifestyle not a DIET. Thanks!
Hi. I have recently gained 30 lbs . I have been a yo-yo dieter all my life . I stayed on low carb diet for 2 years with great results . I went off that diet because it was so restrictive to social outings. I have tried various diet programs and pills over the last 6 months and my weight is not budging. It refuses to accept anything at this point . I read about your program and was intrigued. I have noticed the starving mode my body creates holding on to everything. Now , when I eat I may gain weight with less calories and less food . My body keeps setting a lower caloric intake value. It is impossible to loose weight this way . I feel like a hampster in a cage going no where with my weight issues . I was intrigued with your program. It seems to break that circle in a more natural way, to reach the weight loss that I desire. I would love to have a copy of your program .
I am entering for the free book not for myself but for my brother. He has tried repeatedly to lose weight and he has but only to put it back on plus some additional weight. He always falls back to what he knows. Too much fast and junk food. Because of his desires for food stuff that are mostly a no no, he seems to want them more. For my brother, your system is a system that will not deny him the pleasures but will let him cheat enough to satisfy those craving and still help him to get down to a desired weight. I love him and hate to see the struggle he has been going through. With the holidays fast approaching, this system would put away the guilt and let him enjoy it for the first time in a long time. Yours in health Jean.
yes joel i am 27 yrs old i am getting older. I have tried every diet under the sun. I have emotional eating disorder due to stress and related issues and anxiety from home. I have hypothyroid disorder as well. I Have tried al ot of diets some success with atkins and la weight loss. But now i am trying to get rid of all the flab that is covering my muscle now. I am at the point where i have recieved so much information from different nutritionist and trainiers about what to do, that i am so confused. i need help, i want to feel good about my body and myself.
I’m a college student at The College of New Jersey and I know that now is the time I should be having the best time of my life. I grew up being the fat girl and desperately want to change. I’ve tried other programs, like weight watchers with some success but was not really ever satisfied because I couldn’t eat the foods I wanted to (too many points!) Other programs I’ve looked into take too much time at the gym or require foods that I don’t have access to in the dining hall. This system seems like it will be much more providing and fitted to the college lifestyle. As a science major reading the past updates and notes about how your system works really does make sense and because of that I am willing to try it.
Hey Joel,
I work in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. I know my fitness, but I never did get much nutrition information completing my Human Kinetics Degree. I enjoy reading nutrition and fitness information to expand my knowledge, as well as guide and educate my clients. Personally, I need to lose the last 10lbs to lean out. This has always been a problem especially during the winter holidays. If I can get the results I havne’t been able to attain, I would urge my clients to try Joel Marion’s Cheat Your Way Thin Holiday Edition!
Hi Joel, For two and a half years I have been fighting with a sudden weight gain of 20 pounds. I am a 56 year old woman with a natural weight of 130 – 135. I have slowly gained over the years, but the sudden 20 pounds has me baffled. I have been to an endrocrologist, a cardiologist, and my GP. No one can tell me the cause or the solution. I am desperate. I do cardio every day, I hike the mountains every weekend, and I eat like a bird. I know there is something wrong with my metabolism, and I have been reading a million books on how to make it work properly, but nothing seems to help. I think I need a set plan that guides me meal to meal to get me there. My husband has type 2 dieabetes and I know if I am following a plan he will follow too, but I am very non-domestic, so I need something easy to follow and easy to prepare. Help me please! I will gladly be a poster child for your success.
I am a 61 year old Type 1 Diabetic. Overweight is not my problem, but weight distribution is and everyone is well aware of the issue of visceral fat, diabetes and the potentially devastating side effects. My diet consists of lean protein, minimal carbs and not much else. BUT I struggle with cravings!! Can this be a leptin drop? Because of my carb sensitivity, extra carbs require extra insulin which results in weight gain. Constantly on the outlook for a solution, I would appreciate the opportunity to try your method of control to see whether the “planned” cheat would reduce cravings without seriously affecting BG readings. Would your method work? I don’t absolutely know that, but without a “plan” to follow, I will never know. For me this would have to be a test run to determine whether my system could actually handle the planned cheating. I would actually love to sit down to a pasta “meal” or a slice of pizza every now and then without negative effects. I don’t know whether your research has included those of us who struggle with Type 1 Diabetes but if it does work, the global positive effects are massive. I would appreciate the opportunity to try!
