CB-tastic, a HUGE Dinner, and Secret Ingredient Fat-Burning Foods

Posted by Joel Marion

My main man CB-tastic just got in town today and shortly after his arrival we both sat down to a HUGE dinner full of secret fat-burning ingredient foods.

A few things you should know:

1.  CB-tastic is Craig Ballantyne.  DUH.

2.  I’m releasing a new program called The Huge Dinner Diet tomorrow.  It involves huge dinners.  It also involves fat loss.

Like, LOTS of fat loss.

How much fat loss?  Take your body weight and divide it by three.

Now multiply it by a BILLION.

That much.

3.  Secret ingredient foods are by far the best fat burning foods you can possibly eat.  In fact, here’s a list of the foods we included in our HUGE dinner tonight, each of them containing the magic “secret ingredient”:

  • Filet Mignon
  • Spinach
  • Apples
  • Blueberries
  • Cranberries
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Fresh Mozzarella
  • Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Carrots
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • Wheatberries
  • Walnuts
  • Pumpkin Seeds

I didn’t lie when I said the dinner was huge.  I also didn’t lie when I said dinners of this size are part of a new rapid fat loss diet I developed, The Huge Dinner Diet, due out tomorrow.  And I didn’t lie when I said that ALL of these foods are made up of secret ingredients.

Do you know what secret ingredient all of these foods have in common?

Simple:  ALL of these foods have only ONE ingredient – the food they are.

Broccoli is made up of broccoli – that’s it.

The ingredient list for raw walnuts?  Raw walnuts.

Hey, what’s in those cherry tomatoes?  Oh, I know!  Cherry tomatoes!

The absolute best fat-burning foods are one-ingredient foods — whole foods that contain only one ingredient.

They’re natural.  They’re not processed.  They contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, and more…in their natural form.

Many folks ask me to analyze their diets and I find that they’re full of highly processed, crapola foods.  If it comes in a box, throw it out.  Instead, try this for just one week:

Eat only natural, unprocessed one-ingredient foods:  meats, fruits, vegetables, oils, nuts, legumes, and seeds.

See how much better you feel.  See how much better you LOOK.

How about you?  How many one-ingredient foods are in YOUR diet today?  Will you join me in eating only one-ingredient foods this week?

oh man, such a simple concept but it makes so much sense for fat loss, but doesn’t this then defeat the purpose of consuming pre/post workout shakes and/or protein shakes?

I agree with this idea. I have been eating whole food and eliminating processed foods for a few months and already my skin and hair are looking better. I sleep well my blood pressure is down by 30/20 top and bottom. I am feeling good. I still have fat to lose but I am starting to shift shape already.

I am excited to try this, this week. I am so tired of feeling sluggish and guilty after eating, even when i believe it may be good for me. I am so beyond wanting to change. This week is my new start. Thank you for all the education you are sharing.

So glad that there are guys like you who believe that its what we eat
And not chemicals from a pill or powder that will help our bodies.
Keep up the great work, and I’m eager to look at your huge dinner diet!
Please pretty please!

This is great news. I have been doing the “clean eating” technique since March 21 of this year and I’ve lost 51 pounds so far. Eating whole foods and no processed foods. The only processing comes from something I’ve made myself so I know exactly what is in it and the nutritional content. Great article Joel.

High five for having dinner with the big CB! Sounds like an intriguing diet. I definitely strive for the whole food, healthy food thing – but I do fall off the wagon. I have celiac disease and am fighting candida at the moment, which actually lends itself quite well to this already. But, I have to confess that corn chips or rice chips are a downfall for me. *as well as a few other no-no’s. I am starting to rev my metabolism but I sure need to do more and shave off the last 25 lbs. that are still hanging on me! Looking fwd to more posts on this!

I’m with you on this one! About the only food I have that has several ingredients is my whey protein drink, and the several it has are all real, recognizable foods – then I mix it with almond milk, and it’s great! The key is to take whole, real ingredients and while keeping it simple, combine them well, such as in a salad or omlette, and using quality sea salt, herbs, lemon juice, etc. Quality whole, fresh ingredients prepared simply makes for very appealing and satisfying meals.

wow – sounds so simple…yet none of us do it, definately something to go back to. My son is ADHD and every article you read says go back to the basics – nothing processed, wverything natural….thanks for the assistance. I hope I win your free diet as i know that it will not only help me but also my son, and living in SA it is really expensive to keep buying all these fabulous goodies that you offer

This is great. I try to eat foods like this as much as possible. This diet would be a great addition.

This is a great article. I was just at the grocery store today doing exactly that, buying non processed foods. I did cheat some, I bought dried fruit for a nutrition bar recipe I wanted to try. I have no desire to dry the fruit myself. But I am slowly getting my entire family away from processed foods. I believe it is one of the downfalls of American society. We are not as healthy as our grandparents were because of the foods we eat.

I’ve been eating 80% clean for several years – Ryvita and cheese make up the other 20% (gluten and many-grain-intolerant). At 63 I’ve reversed the ageing process :)) and Asthma is under control. I can outlast most of the youngsters in gym classes and feel great. I’m glad to see that cheese was in your dinner as I would prefer not to give it or yogurt up!

Sounds much more appealing then a big breakfast!

Eggs…. By far the best form of protein, and the highest “biological value”( the measure of your body’s protein needs)… Boiled, fried, poached, scrambled, raw…the ultimate single ingredient?

I prefer to eat one ingredient foods. Very rarely do I have processed foods at all.

Love the list!!

Don’t know where you come up with all of these wonderful ideas but this large meal diet will win over my spouse, hands down. You give us sensible and healthy ideas everyday and we are all blessed that you share your talent and tummy reducing thoughts. Thank you for answering your “calling” for helping others. We are grateful and look forward to your emails each day.

Simple and easy!!!!! This is why our ancestors lived longer and was healthier!!!! Love it

I noticed during my execution of your Xtreme Fat Loss Program that most of your meals consisted of single ingredient foods, and I am living proof that they work!

Very interesting but what are wheatberries?

great info, as usual! I’m getting ready for my 25-day journey. It’s like cooking – I’m in the detailed prep work….can’t wait =)

Great reminder. I work with child daycare and try to do fresh fruits, veg, meats, staying away from hotdogs, noodles. Tried making own yogert with high protein. Time consuming and harder to flavor, but found mixing this with some of flavored, its amazing the expense of these fresh fruits and veg in midwest unless you have your own garden which we are doing, if only weather would cooperate better!!

Wonderfull… and simple..
I have to point out that meals made out of single ingredients demand creativity, if they are to motivate us and our families to eat healthy on a continuing basis.
One very important food which should be added to your list is natural home-made yoghurt. It’s delicious, nourishing and has a host of plus points.
I am not sure how eating a big meal at night will work for fat loss: it certainly appears to stand all known wisdom on its head!
Cannot wait to hear more.

<The term wheatberry or wheat berry refers to the entire wheat kernel (except for the hull), comprising the bran, germ, and endosperm

Am going to give it a go. Sure it will be beneficial. Keep up the good work.
Thank you.
