As I am entering into my 60s and finding staying slim despite regular exercise more challenging, I need some help. What I want is a slim, toned mid-section, which requires more than exercise alone.
apart from the fact i have tried a whole bunch of diets.. and failed.. i like the idea of losing fat without losing muscles.. plus the idea of a cheat day to keep the leptin levels seems really good! Got a 30th in July so hoping to get beach fit by then :-)
I’m 48 years old. I was thin my whole life until I turned 40. That year I gained 20 lbs and I haven’t stopped since. I’m now 190 lbs and 5′ 6″ tall. Nothing seems to help. I have just adopted my 4 year old grandson snd am having a terrible time keeping up with him. He’s been through so much already I just want him to have a healthy, energetic “mom” he’ll be proud of. I am fifty and feeling very fat, I have been so focused on helping other people achieve their goals and aspirations I have neglected myself. Hi Joel and THANKS for your offer! I have never agreed with DIE-its and have always just tried to maintain proper weight via good nutrition, BUT, after my 4th child(and emerg. c-section), the pounds added and now I weigh 197! I recently WOKE up that I’ve never actually eaten healthy! Now I’ve been trying to learn all about green juicing, algaes, MSM, hydrotherapy, cardio&free weights, etc. and am progressively implementing those into my new thinking&lifestyle of becoming Truly healthy:) I happened on your Great advice about keeping liptin high via high carb&fat cheat day/s and WOW am I intrigued! I have been trying to share my newfound health info w/ family, but they are deaf to it all. As a former NPC Mr Monterey Bay, to say I am experienced in extreme fat loss would be an understatement. I was successful because I had the time to research and implement the training and nutritional knowledge of the time. But in the twenty-odd years since, my life has changed dramatically. I no longer own a World Gym, or eat, breathe, and sleep the bodybuilding lifestyle. Working fifty hour weeks to pay the mortgage leaves just enough time to hit the gym and make it home for dinner, before heading up to bed. After studying Joel’s design for Xtreme Fat Loss, I believe it is just the system I need to regain the head-turning beach bod of the past. Everything is laid out for success, both food and exercise. I am super-jazzed to get started, and plan to document my results with photos and Bod Pod measurements. Bring it on!
To be honest I don’t really think I have time to lose weight I work all hours and have an ill father to look after but your programme seems to promise a lot of things like short work outs and this is what I need. I have thrown my money away on programmes that promise results and even when I stick to them religiously they don’t work. I have used the Six Pack Abs programme and that was one of the best but it is all from the point of view of a weight builder which I don’t want. I just want to be healthy and enjoy what free time I have in the healthiest way possible. Many of these sites like Six Pack Abs send you links to others but they all want the same thing, more money, it makes it hard to take the programme seriously because despite the reduction in price it is all about money even the websites are designed the same and take 5 paragraphs to tell you nothing because you want people to buy your programme. So what I am saying is I won’t buy your programme because I have been burned too many times but if you give me it for free and it works I will tell everyone I know and endorse it wholeheartedly as a member of joe public not just another person in the fitness biz.
There´s a time when you have to look down and see where you are right now, then look back to know where you came from so when finally you look forward you can believe what are you capable of.
I´ve recently started to make positive changes in my life, I started an exercise program on my own and the results came very slowly. Instead of being stubborn I asked for professional help, went to a nutriologist and bought an exercise plan and then the real change begun.
I know that I’m still far from my goal but I wont give up until I reach it cause I want to be a good example if i have kids. I firmly believe that if I learn how to optimize my metabolism with your method I can get to my personal goals and have a healthier life.
I have been a competitive cyclist pretty much all my adult life and as a keen racer I never had a problem with weight. About 18 months ago I had an accident I was lucky to live through and ended my cycling days. Since then I have tried to keep the fat off through lifting weights and HIIT but the weight is creeping on ( and on). I am happy with the progress I am making in the gym and all my clothes are getting tight in some good areas ( Chest, arms shoulders) but also getting too tight around my gut which I am not happy about. I have tried different diets but just seem to lose more muscle than fat. Your program has come along at a perfect time for me, I thought I was going to be strong but fat or weak and fat forever. I work for public transportation in Dallas Texas, I drive sometimes up to 13 hours in a day. and I’ve been doing this for 6 years now and in that time I’ve put on an extra 120 pounds, now at 370 pounds. I see the potental health and lose of a active life with my family. I try to cut out the sweets and work out, but with the long hours of work and no real structure on how to work out and loose the weight. I keep looseing and gaining. It’s very discouraging. I have 6 kids and I wish I could go out and play ball or even go to the park without getting tired. I asked my wife for roller skates for my birthday. And in trying to skate I couldn’t get my ballance, with the xtra weight on the from of me. I need help and guidence. I need to do this not only for me but for my family. They want there dad back. I work with students, teachers, administrators in about 100 schools, so I spend quite a bit of time on the road and have a very unpredictable schedule. I love to exercise because it is such a great stress reliever for me. I recently suffered a knee injury that has greatly limited my normal exercise routine. I need advice on how to continue to exercise without causing more damage to my knee and also how to eat smarter now that my activity level has decreased. I would be a great candidate for your Xtreme Fat Loss Diet, as I have been on numerous medications due to a genetic, incurable disease. I have had fluctuating weight gain/loss, even though I have fully removed all medications from my body.
