Having read your “Secrets to Weight Loss”, I find it very interesting and the point made as to why conventional diets never work as expected and are doomed to failure is right on. I’m 76 years old, on high pressure medicine and have my doctors agreement if I can loose 15 pounds in 4 months, he will work with me toward my goal of getting off of all my high pressure medicine. My husband Andrew and I work out very hard and we are very conscious about our diet. However, we seem to be at a stand still with our fat loss. We work out together and enjoy it very much because we push each other (he pushes me more than I do him). He is always searching for ways to diversify our routine.
We need something different, something that will feed our muscles and lose the fat. We want to get lean and stay that way. If your program We can be your next testimony for a couple that lost their fat together :).
I am a 53 year old woman who most people would say is in great shape. I have however noticed that a few extra pounds have been creeping in and I’ve gained fat around my stomach. Because I’m close to my goal weight, the usual “diets” are not working for me. I’m consistent with exercise but it has not helped with the (unwanted) changes that are happening in my body. I’ve been inspired by Vince & Flavia and want to get rid of the fat not just the weight. I think this program is good for me because I was following a low carb diet for more than a year. Now I don’t see any changes in my body and if I eat some carbs, my body immediately starts putting on pounds. With this program my body and metabolism will be re-programed to work on my favor.

There are a couple of reasons I would love to get a copy of your program,the first being that I’m at the age where it seams to get harder and harder to drop the weight, I like putting in the time to exercise but I’m not into the whole diet thing, the other reason is because of my work situation, I work in a remote northern area where we are flown in to work for 13 days and then flown out again for our 8 days off, these camps in which we are housed hold thousands and thousands of people,all of the camps are equipped with gyms consisting of cardio machines and free weights, come meal time, although there are healthier options you find yourself going for (whatever) and fries,and when your back home it sometimes seems just as hard to eat healthy because everything is right there at your finger tips, but with the program you would have a guide to follow and a goal to set. I am 54 and am stuck on 148. I weight train and do lots of cardio, but the weight will not budge. I am looking for a way to get off 10lbs of body fat, even if I add more muscle. Please help, I am stuck.

Three years ago, at the age of 52, i fell into a coma. It was then that i learned that i was a type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetic. Incredible! There didnt seem to be a reasonable explanation for this sudden diagnosis. i was not overweight and i had been a vegetarian (though i do eat seafood) for over 20 years. Truth is, i really was not being veryt healthy. I was eating too much processed food and i really did not examine what i was eating in terms of the nutritional value.
Suddenly, i was forced to highly scrutinize each and every morsel i was eating. But even doing that did not guarantee that i was eating healthily. I was eating far too many grains and more carbohydrates than i needed. I came to the realization that if i wanted to live a long, active and healthy life that i needed to drastically change the way i approached nutrition and fitness. i began searching for any information related to healthy lifestyles. I looked to family members and friends who had success with either fitness or nutrition. Last Christmas, while visiting with my brother and his family i discovered Isabel De Los Rios’ nutritional program. I immediately began incorporating her rules into my life. I began to see a difference immediately. I am still fine tuning and tweeking my diet and, after i heal from my recent knee surgery, i plan on getting back in shape. My goal is to become the most healthy and fit that i can. I really want to devote all of my time to taking care of myself. I am a 60 year young woman who has exercised and followed good eating and activity practices since I was 17 years old! Back in the day I did aerobic dance and have done all forms of exercise except yoga and pilates. I currently weight train w/cardio and plyo activities mixed.
I have worked with a personal trainer since 1999. I have become muscular and lean and I’m always complimented on my fisique. I do not look my age. However, since I reached 50 I cannot seem to get or stay lean! I have supplemented and tweaked my hormones. While I am strong and show muscle, I have a tendency lately to look skinny fat! You see muscle, but there is a layer of fat that sits on top that I cannot blast no matter what I do! Your program may be the key to get lean and cut. I want that more than anything! I feel like I sacrifice foods I love and work out hard (was 4 days now 3 days w/trainer) and yet can’t get the look I desire.
I have spent 1000s of dollars on programs (including P90X) and diets that do not work for me. Yours is different – it could be the one!

In the past 8 years my lowest weight was 177. My highest was 225. This isn’t some spur of the minute thing. I have researched and I have been following your posts and have tried to implement them myself this past week – low carbs and carb depleting workout followed by a cheat day followed by a calorie depletion day with high calorie burn day. Lost .4 this week.
My twentieth wedding anniversary trip is coming up in early June – We are going to a beach resort and I want to ROCK MY HUSBANDS SOCKS!!

I believe this will take me to the next level in my physique development. I’ve spent several years working on getting stronger and somewhat bigger. At 39,I finally have my body fat at a reasonable level but see how tough it is to get past that and really get shredded. It sounds to me like this program might be the answer. Quite frankly, I want my body to look as much like Roman’s as possible and if this worked so well for him then I have to believe it will help me.
I really need some inspiration, and this program would definitely help me get on track to staying fit and keeping my weight in control. Have tried dozens of other methods to no avail. Hi Joel, I would love to receive your xtreme fat loss diet. My husband is diabetic, and I have been fighting my weight for the last 20 years. We have worked hard to change our lifestyle, to eat less and move more. We’ve recently tried some pre-prepared meal plans. Although they have helped us to lose more weight than we were doing on our own, we still don’t have those key componants to see the results we’re really looking for. We want to be healthy and happy, no only in our 40’s but for the rest of our lives. I cringe to think that I could end up like my mother who has diabetes, neuropathy, high blood pressure, and has been on oxygen full time for 7 years. She’s in a cycle of being over medicated, but can’t get off of them to find a level of health to enjoy a good quality of life.If it’s preventable, I need to prevent ending up living like a 90 year old in my 60’s. I need the program for my wife to help her get her HEALTH back. Note that I didn’t say ‘get back in shape’. My wife is currently suffering from Anemia, Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, and Depression. She is receiving medical treatment for all of these conditions, but the long term fix for her is to get Healthy again. Her weight and health have yo-yo’d so much over the years, and now that she’s 40, she needs the proper tools to get her HEALTH back. We have a highly active 3 1/2 year old son that she can’t keep up with. I want her to be a healthy as possible to be able to be there for our son, and so that she can lead a healthy and active life again. Help me get my wife healthy again.
