I have been looking for something that can finally get me down to my goal of losing fat & inches & getting to 140lbs. I am 5’10” tall and have battled my weight my entire life. I just can’t seem to get below 230.

I have a Kim Kardashian thing happening that I like; but want it on a smaller level. I have tried everything. I finally exercise at an intense level for 60min. a day; but the inches & fat aren’t coming off.

Please help me!

I’ve been struggling for almost all my life with weight and fat, im 23 y/o now, do a lot of exercise, but i still have like 18% – 25% fat that i can’t get rid of…with this program i hope to get fit, and have a boost on my self-esteem, that is quite low sometimes, if i don’t get it, i’ll just keep exercising hoping my diet and weights work out sometime :)

I have never been a lazy person, i have always been exercising and always been struggling to eat right but its clear that i am doing something (or many things) wrong!! i want this program so badly because from all the info that you gave us so far has been amazing and not like anything else i’ve read and i believe that if what i have tried so far isnt working then i need to try something different. I’d like for once to not dress to cover up and to stop backing out of going out with friends because i dont like how i feel in my own skin.

I have two little kids… and I don’t want a “mummy body” anymore!!! I have been reading your updates every day, and I feel that your program may just be the thing I need! I don’t have a ton of weight to lose, but after two pregnancies in the last 4 years, my body is flabby and holding onto fat and I have little in the way of muscle. I’m dreading summer (I have 2 months before it arrives here) and would love nothing more than to look great in a bathing suit!!!

Gained so much weight when I quilt smoking–HELP! Nothing seems to work, hoping this will!

I want to be able to look super great for my daughters 4th bday in June when we have many people over. I need to do this for myself. I pulled out old pictures and in some cases was shocked That I really didn’t remember how thin I was. This is even though I was not super thin but compared to now I was.

Well, I am now 49 and as others have pointed out it’s so easy to say there is never a good time to start on a lifestyle change. However, being 273 pounds, out of shape, (other than round). Having High BP, borderline type 2, sleep apnea, high cholesterol and a sedentary job. What makes it hard is with all of the various ways to do it how does one decide that this is it? I know it’s far easier to do what I have been doing, but that’s not been working & it’s time for a change. I would like to be well on my way to under 200 by the time I hit 50.
I would love to be given the opportunity to use your program an prove to myself and everyone else how easy it can be.

I have been doing the fitness rat race for years thinking I was actually doing something, yet I have still managed to hang on to those last 15 stubborn pounds. For years I have felt guilty for not religously sticking to a 6 meal a day plan or having an occasional cheat. I thought that those last pounds were because I wasn’t eating perfectly every day as though that occasional cheat day was solely responsible. Several years ago I lost 45 lbs and have kept that off. I’ve been trying to lose those last 15 lbs for a few years now without much success. As a former physical education teacher, I always considered myself to be in great shape as well as up to date on physiological needs of the body to perform at peak levels. After leaving my career and putting all my energies into my two beautiful daughters, I found myself in a shapeless state. I no longer had the energy or desire to work outand I began to add belly fat that has been resistant to many other diets. I like that your program acknowledges the use of metabolism and our bodies natural way to survive. Your approach to exercise and diet together is a real positive approach to me. I have been lucky in the past to be able to eat anything without it affecting my weight. However, age and non actiivity is catching up with me. I like that your program has variety and breaks it down on a daily basis to maintain motivation and focus. I also like that your program specifically tells you what to do, is short term, not based on starvation and strategic in making our natural body defenses to work with us and not against us. My girls are older now and I need this program to jumpstart a new leash on life for me.

Because I am ME! Oh wait you don’t know me. Let me introduce you to me. Me is a very loving person… Except Chihuahuas… One bit my daughter when she was little. I don’t care for them. Plus, they YIP! ANYWAY, I am in my thirties. That is all I will say about age. I made a decision in March that I was ready to finally change my life to the better. Well, the truth is, I decided I was ready to change my life to get rid of my ugly belly fat once and for all. I want to have flat abs and be tone everywhere. I stopped drinking, started the beyond diet program, and started lifting weights using Mike Geary’s program. I am not strong and have no desires to be a body builder. I just want to do what fits my lifestyle, which is a fairly normal one, to get my flat abs. I don’t care to lose weight; I care to lose INCHES. I have lost a little since I started March 4th. Although I am not complaining, I am still looking for the workout program that fits me and will give BIG results. I want to look sexy. I have a beautiful 17 year old daughter that boys stare at. When I walk next to her I want to at least be comparable. I want to look good when I look in the mirror. No more turning away from that ugly mirror.

In my school days I enjoyed sports and games like badminton. Being a lecturer and dedicating so many hours to children’s needs I neglected my own health and well being. Today my freedom has been stolen as I have high blood pressure and diabetes. Routine medication takes my energy out of me and I hope to do much more with my life. If only I could lose 30 kg without endangering my life with intensive exercise, it would mean the world to me. Thanks.

These past few years fitness has really become a part of my everyday life. Nutrition and diet has always been a healthy obsession of mine and through exercise and healthful eating I am at a body fat percentage that my body is happy at – but I would love to get leaner! Hi Joel. I’ve had a drastic change in lifestyle over the last 6 months. I work in a camp setting in northern Canada….2 weeks in, and 1 week back home. My level of bodyfat has always been a struggle and over the last 6 months I’ve watched my waist grow an additional 4 inches and my weight increase 30 lbs.I’ve tried countless pills and diets over the years but the results never last and I get a little bigger each time. Ive all but given up. You’re my last hope Joel. Can a 46 year old really turn this all around? You make me believe I can.

I need a way to kick-start my metabolism and maintain my discipline to move toward a more healthy lifestyle. I am an active 65 year-old with new bionic knees and I want to get “back in the race.”

I have been using a similar diet and exercise regimen already for the last couple of years that has helped me maintain 20 lbs. lighter than when I started. This diet sounds like something that will help take it to a higher level. I have been following your suggestions in the emails and I have seen some results. Please consider me as person who would greatly benefit from your program and be able to bring to the table the benefits with other people in my life a way to help them as well. I want to reach a lofty goal getting myself in better shape at 46 than I was at 25. I feel your program would help achieve that. Thank you for your insights that you have already given me.
