One year ago, I decided I needed to become healthy so I could see my daughter (who is now 6) grow up. The way I was headed, that wasn’t going to happen! In this last year, I have lost 110 lbs, my blood pressure has gone back to normal, and I’m feeling much more energetic.
However, I know I am not quite there yet. I still have about 12 lbs to go to get to my goal weight (which will STILL not be super model thin!). I am flabby, not toned. And, I need to make sure I can KEEP the weight off and don’t gain it back. I’ve been doing a fairly rigid high-protein, low-carb diet that worked for me, but is not sustainable for the rest of my life. I need to now get myself really healthy not merely not overweight. Hi Joel, I need this program! I have been yo-yo dieting all my life since I was 10 years old and now in my 30’s it is just hard to get rid of the last few pounds of fat without losing muscle. I have tried everything! I take care of my body and have always worked out, but what gets me is diet and losing the last few pounds of fat. I’m not overweight but weigh more than I want to. 5’3″ and 126lbs is more than I’m comfortable with. I’ve dropped down to under 100 but had no muscle and no energy. I am stuck and need help. I eat very clean, do a pretty intense plyometric program and lift heavy weights (I’m a girl but not scared to lift) but I lose weight super slow and now have stopped losing. It’s so hard for me to lose that it took me since June of 2011 to lose 15 lbs and 9% body fat. The programs to help someone that has never eaten clean or worked out do not work for me. I need a program that is serious. Anyone can lose weight just by getting up and exercising and eating right. I lost 35 lbs in 3 months just from changing to a clean diet, and I hadn’t even started working out at that time. I need a plan that is so good that it helps those of us already doing the basics. I need help getting cut. I have 8% body fat to lose and roughly 14 – 18 lbs left to go. My deadline is June 15th to get there. I don’t want to be overweight another summer please. I’ve been battling this for 7 years.

I am a military wife with two little boys and little time just for me. My husband had been deployed since last October and is coming home in less than a month.
