I’m just gonna be flat out honest, I’ve been trying for the last year to rid myself of these last fifteen pounds of fat. I’m 5’8″, 160 lbs with a BMI of 23.5. I guess you could say I’m already fit, but picture this: I have a shoulder width of 48 inches, my chest and back circumference is 45 inches, my arms are 18 inches non-flexed and I even have a six-pack. My problem is the remaining 15 pounds of fat is concentrated around my waist, and despite all my efforts, I have failed to extradite it from my body. I was at one point where I thought it was all genetics, my father had them as well as my uncles. I have been following your articles for the past month or so and I’ve begun to notice some shrinkage, but I want to be rid of these love handles once and for all so I can pursue some work in fitness modeling and even dancing to help pay for school. But mainly I just want to wear shirts that show off my chiseled frame without anything bulging out of the sides and be able to swoon women when I take it off at the beach or a wild night out. At the age of 47 I’m finding that the extra 15 – 20 lbs extra that i have been carrying around the last 6 years or so is putting an enormous amount of extra stress on my shoulders, elbow and wrist joints when transferring in and out of my wheelchair and even just moving the extra weight when pushing myself around. I’m 57 and slowly losing muscle mass but having seen those before and after photos and reading your method of training in a smart way, I’ve started to rethink my training. Hi. Some fitness work outs are pages & pages of endless instructions, one gets tired of all that reading. From your write ups, your message is short, clear & straight to the point – I think this is important coz it isn’t too time consuming! As a working mother of two + wife – I try to balance home & work life & I find myself constantly rushing to get everything done on time, thereforeI would love to try a work out program that is family friendly (where I’ll get to spend more time with kids & at the same time loose fat).
