I’m a 39yr old aviator. Having undergone a knee surgery last August, i can neither work nor work-out actively. (Running is the only way i’d adopted so far in life to fight the forever returning flab). The only key to my rehab is to loose the 25 Kg fat and build muscle in my weaker leg. I NEED MY JOB BACK.
Though i was never thin or muscular but my abs were in my control earlier. After i delivered my daughter 5 yrs back, i’ve only seen a roll of fat around my belt.

It’s hard not to include finances out of this. I NEED to lose weight. I am a diabetic and I take lots of medicine, pills and injections. I take medicine for other overweight problems such has high lipids, high blood pressure, etc. Then my daughter needs treatment. I am responsible, by court order, for 70% of the cost of her treatment. I’m not under court order to pay for my treatments and I can’t afford both. I have canceled my doctor appointments, and not reorder any of my Rx’s. As a kid, I was a chubby kid because my parents just fed me whatever I wanted. During my high school days, I was teased and I continue to get teased to this date about my weight and my body image. I decided recently it is time I ditched that image and leave my old self behind. I have tried every possible diet out there since when I decided to get fit but haven’t had much success. I believe this program will help me reach my dream weight and help me gain self confidence in my body again.
This seems to be a great system for me as after all the different diets I have studied and tried I have never achieved visible results as with just simply applying the tips you have been emailing to us in the past few emails. It’s nice to be able to communicate with you. I must admit that your updates really got my attention. I am 42 years old and a mother of thee teenage boys. I have a thyroid problem so losing weight just by dieting is not easy. I am 1.62m tall and weigh 78kg. I have been trying to lose weight for the last 10 years with no success. After all the effort, the only thing I have managed is to maintain my current weigh but I really need to loses those extra pounds firstly so I can have a fuller and healthier life and be able to keep up with my boys and secondly to feel good with myself. After 20 years of marriage (21 in August) I’m sure that my husband loves me very much just the way I am, but getting to my desired weight would be the perfect anniversay present.

After years of limited mobility because of Lupus and Fibromyalgia and meds that just packed the pounds on, I have reached a stage in life that something must be done to break the vicious cycle that has been destroying my body and spirits. Against my doctors wishes, but with his help, I have phased out most of the meds prescribed to help during a 4-year flare. I have lost around 40 pounds, and feel much better. At 4’11”, I need to get down to around 120 to be able to get off the rest of the meds I’m on. I am making life changes which include being physically and mentally active and eating healthier. This program will give me the discpline I need to lose the next 40 pounds and be the inspiration needed for my son, two sisters, a niece and a cousin to fight these autoimmune diseases with positive attitude, better nutrition, and keeping the body as trim and limber as possible. Your blog and program materials help keep me motivated. One important tidbit for me was a brief mention that we may lose 40 pounds of fat, add 12 of muscle and think we are going backwards and slip back into our old habits. I read that just a week or two ago, just when I was hurting so bad I couldn’t sit still, and was about ready to pull the prescription meds back out and pig out on some chips and dip. Instead, I put on a pair of pants from last year and they nearly fell to my feet. I got busy moving my body and put the chips back up and realized the baby steps are working for me. I am 203# and 4’11”, yes over 100# overweight. As a single mother I need to get healthy both for myself and my son. At present I don’t have the energy I need to run around with him outside, but I don’t want my past unhealthy lifestyle to become his future. Being over 100# overweight it is harder to lose weight as it is harder to be active for a long period of time and it is really easy to just give up when the results I want to see seem just so far away.
The other reason I want to lose weight may be vain, but as I mentioned I am single and would like to meet someone. Now when you go to online dating sites there are 2 types of profiles, active and wants and active partner, or couch potato looking for same.
