I am a short 5’2″ male who has always been a very steady 128-130 lbs. which was appropriate for me, but when I hit 50 the pound began to pile on and now I am 20 lbs. over my limit. Everything I’ve been reading in your emails makes sense to me and I’ve always believed that moderation and not deprivation is the way to go as well as all the other things you point out. Yet there seems to be something missing from my life that made me gain all this weight. I feel that your program might be this missing piece or pieces that I need.

I’m a 63-year-old female who has struggled with my weight since my teens. I have been on a constant diet all my life, losing weight and then gaining most of it back. Now, I can’t seem to lose it anymore, and it is affecting my self-esteem, and therefore my relationship with others. I am 5′ 1″ and weigh 183. This would certainly change my life!

I’m now 47 years old and find my metabolism and appetite are just the opposite of what I need to lose weight and feel great about myself. My metabolism is SLOW and appetite has INCREASED. Hi! I’am just getting out of a nasty divorce and bankrupcy. I am so excited about this program. It sounds so logical and combines a lot of what I have heard over the years. I used to have a nutritionist/trainer and she helped me a lot, but cannot afford her anymore and I have slipped up due to life changes and finances. For years I worked out 15+ hours/week between martial arts and P90X. I was in great shape and always had energy. In July, I was hit while sitting in a car at a red light and thankfully only suffered minor injuries. However, the my full recovery has been slow and I can’t train more than a few hours a week, if that. I’ve put only 10 lbs, which doesn’t seem like a ton but NONE of my pants fit me anymore which is completely freaking me out!! I try to train hard when I’m not in pain but going from 15 hrs of training/week to 4 hrs if I’m lucky is killing me. I’ve struggled with my weight all my life. 10 years ago I lost 40 pounds on Weight Watchers, and I managed to keep it off for about 2 years, but over the remaining 8, have gained it all back + 10 more. WW doesn’t seem to be working for me this time around – I lose 2-5, but it comes back. I haven’t been diagnosed with any health problems (yet), and I’d like to do what I can to keep it that way. I am a first semester vet student who has worked doggedly for the last 6 years to get into vet school. I might be a little different than your typical reader: I’ve been maintaining my ideal weight for almost 2 years now; they’ve just been 2 long, grueling years of semi-starvation. Low energy, freezing all the time, bad concentration, not being able to eat a thing I like (and I *LOVE* food), and terror of having to diet harder if I ever slip up. The starvation thing worked to get the weight off, but for maintenance…I don’t think I can continue much longer. I’d love to kick my fat burning up a notch so I could live a normal life without ballooning up ;). Cheat days/meals sound like a wonderful idea, but I’d love to understand the details behind them rather than just eating like a pig and hoping for the best ;). The nutrient timing and combinations are something that intrigue me, since I naturally crave a high protein diet and often just throw in one additional macronutrient if I feel like a need some extra balance. Carb timing mirrors my experiences, too. I’ve experimented with HIIT also in the past, but always seemed to overdo it and eat too little (so it backfired), and maybe some more guidance could help me there. So I know my body likes your system already, I just would rather not spend the next 10 years working out the kinks myself if you guys already have!

I just turned 40, and while I am reasonably strong (385lbs 5×5 on my unassisted squat, 365lbs 1 rep max on my deadlift) I know that the fat loss I will get from this program will help me get to my target weight of 215 from my current weight of 267. That will not only give me a lot more energy, but will help me massively increase my strength to weight ratio. Most importantly, I will be back down to the weight I was when I got married 13 years ago, and will be setting a great example of a healthy., lean man for my son to follow.

Hey, I’m an ex-athlete whom loves to stay in shape and educate others as well. So many people go for the online scams and what uneducated people at local gums tell them, which is all the wrong information. I’m tired to searching for answers as well as others. I believe I have found my answer with 24/7! I broke my leg, wrist and ankle in 2009, and I’ve had problems with it ever since. My mobility is compromised, and thus I have put on 30-40 lbs extra. I need to get back to a healthier weight and gain some strength in my body again. I have really enjoyed reading all of the emails lately. They really are inspiring.

Okay this is the 3rd or 4 th time I enter theses contests but don’t win so I really reallllllllllllllllllllly hope you will finally choose me this time ……so I’m a 15 year old girl and well I need to lose weight I weigh 173 and want to be healthier and a motivation for others. I have had a weight problem since I was 8 but I didn’t care as much then . But now that I’m in junior year of high school and I have a lot more pressure from school work and my work so I need something that will be fast and efficient and I have subscribed to you since a long time ago and love your methods and know it will be very useful for me because I’m also at risk for many diseases and I would share it with my family because some of them are also obese.I was also at risk for diabetes a while ago. I am 57 years old, & tried many diets including having the bariatric surgery. I go to the gym mornings during the week at 5:30 & evenings over the weekend. I am spinning my wheels. I enjoy working out, but my body is not toned and I would like to know how I can burn my fat & turn to muscle.

Since I got married three years ago I’ve lived a very sedentary life and am now barely getting back into the groove of what i think is eating better and working out. It would be so much more viable to me to have a complete system telling me what is right for me to live a healthy lifestyle and how to lose weight in a more productive way. Like Flavia said, women shouldn’t do the same work outs as men (to lose weight). And I need that women how-to coaching.

I’m 54 years old. I already have one replaced hip (which was “done” at age 50), and I will, within a couple of years, also have to have the other hip replaced. I miss hockey. I miss running. I miss all the things I USED to be able to do which let me eat almost whatever I wanted, because I could just burn off the ‘extra’ by competing hard in high intensity aerobic or even anaerobic activity. Those days are gone, unfortunately – and I need a new plan, a new form of attack, something that fits my lifestyle – or, at least, a lifestyle to which I can conform without throwing all other aspects of my life out the window. I’m hoping your plan is that plan.
