Twice since 1986 I have lost 30% of my weight, only to gain it back over time. Now I am in my mid 50’s, eat healthier and exercise more regularly than any other time in my life, and yet since 2004 when I reached my goal weight for a second time, try as I might, 40 of the 64 lbs I struggled so hard to lose between 2002 and 2004, has been regained. I am the weight recorder for my weight loss support group and I would like to set a good example. Have tried to lose weight most of my life with no major luck. I was taking some meds with a side effect the longer you take it is excess belly fat and weight gain. I was not aware of this fact. I switched meds two years ago & still have the excess baggage. My son is 7 and I would love to be more energentic with him. I would love not to be tired all the time. I want to change my life, for me, and make sure my son is never in the situation to have to change. Do it right from the beginning!

I am a 53 yr old female with 2 teenage sons. I have been over weight most of my life and I have tried almost every diet out there. I have many medical problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, back pain and if you name it, I probably have it or will get it. Im trying really hard! Im listening to everything u say incorportating all sorts into my fitness : weights, spinning, TRX and jogging. The hardest thing for me is trying to balance my life between the gym and working out in my basement. My husband kinda frowns upon me being at the gym all week. I am a 41 year old father of 6. I sit behind a computer for a job with only short breaks every couple of hours to have a snack and move around. I gave up smoking 4 years ago and my weight has slowly crept up from 195 to 260. My blood pressure got high and so for me ( and my family ) I have been trying to lose the excess. My training time is limited but I have full support from my family and friends. It’s taken me 3 mths to lose 15 lbs. indeed help with what to eat and how to excercise.
I am a Senior Gal – petite (but not my opinion). I have yo-yo’d all my life. The most overweight I’ve been is 25 pounds, but tiredness and sore joints prompts me to get on the bandwagon again. I have a tendency toward carbohydrate overload and severe cravings. I have found that if I eat high protein, low carb and food combine that I meet with weight loss success. When I “cheat” I have much difficulty getting back on track. I do more reading of exercise blogs than exercising. I really need a once and for all program to rev up my metabolism and rev up my enthusiasm to adopting a healthy lifestyle once and for all. I was a walk-on track athlete in college and lettered twice. After college came marriage and kids, and fitness took a backseat. I wanted to get back into competition, and lost 50 lbs. over 3 years. In the last 18 months, however, about 15 pounds have crept back. I work out, cut calories, but just can’t seem to lose the puffiness aroung my middle. I want to make my kids proud of me, and show them that getting older doesn’t mean one has to look out of shape or that one has to cut back on activities. Your fresh approach is just what I need.
I am 55 years young and would like to be able to lose the excess 80 lbs I am carrying around as I am suffering with a chronic back right hip problem that the doctors do not seem to be able to figure out what the problem is. I’m 61 and started to gain weight when my autistic son (Lee) was born (1985). I started to neglect myself as my son’s needs were a priority. I slowly gained 45 lbs (165 to 205) and have had little success with weight loss over the years.
My son who is now 26 has expressed to me that he wants me to be here for him and that I need to do whatever it takes to regain my former healthy self. He wants to share my journey as a partner and as part of my support system.

I tried different things to lose weight, exercise programs and supplements. I have had some success, lost 60 pounds over 4 years but I have hit the wall and looking to take my weight loss to the next level. This program definitely sounds like what I need to succeed.
For several years I have been on every kind of diet imaginable. I am 61, work nights, sleep deprived, physically challenged after being hit by a truck on my motorcycle, good days and bad days with pain and 345 lbs. I was 425. I struggle not to go back there. Can this be the program that actually works without torture, starvation, exotic supplements and powders. Is it going to cost hundreds and hundreds in your program to see results? I refuse to get into another ‘if you just buy our this and you pay for our that you will succeed in our program’. Will your program work for the physically challenged that seldom see daylight? I want to know. I need to know. I would like to see 200 lbs again and some muscles.
After December 22, 2011 I will be certified as a personal trainer by ISSA. I will be incorporating exersize and nutrition information from the best sources I can find into my data base (My brain) for the benefit of my future clients. From what I have read so far, your approach appears to be well thought out and thoroughly researched making my job easier to motivate people to take good care of themselves. I will personally benefit by not only staying in good shape, but actually improving it. I am 67 years old and had very bad investment advice during the past 11 years. I can no longer retire and I have not been able to find a job (other than with the census bureau during last year’s census) in over two years. Nobody wants to hire a 67 year old except (hopefully) other seniors who want to get into shape. Your program will be of great benefit, especially if its free.

I really need the 24/7 program! I have been struggling since Grammar School with weight issues, and the emotional and physical problems that manifest from these issues. On my recent 40th birthday I had finally decided that I really needed to lose the weight once and for all. June of this year I made one last ditch effort to conquer my weight control demons once and for all. I have lost 65 pounds, and really need to lose an additional 65 pounds. Losing this weight has opened new doors for me, I have taken up mountain biking, training with kettlebells, and have joined a gym with my wife; all things I wouldn’t have dared to do 65 pounds ago. My Blood pressure, Glucose, and Cholesterol numbers are finally normal.
I feel people are actually interested in what I have to say, for once in my life I feel empowered, and I feel like I am somebody. I have used the Dukan Diet, with some of Craig’s Turbulence Training, and Josh Hillis’ kettlebell programs to get to this point. I realize the diet concept can’t last forever, and I am terrified that when I reach goal, I will end up on the same reckless path without more in depth guidance. Honestly, I will buy the program if I don’t win it, but I could use the saved money to buy new clothes in the “NOT BIG & Tall Section”

Also after 30 years of being on my own I have just met somebody through the internet but now I am afraid that unless I can change the way I look bodywise my lack of confidence will mean that it will be another missed opportunity. After years of yo yo dieting now nothing seems to help no matter what I do. I sincerely feel that your program would. Change my luck for the better and also my body please:)
