I’m a 61 year old guy who graduated high school at 5’11” and 160 pounds. After a year and a half of college and a lot of pizza, beer, and hoagies (subs), I was a portly 215 pounds, but no taller. Except for a short time in 1981, when I got down to 180, I’ve been around 210 to 215 for most of my adult life. Although I did reach an all time high of 230 at one point.
I’m at a time in my life now when I know I’ve got to do something serious to take better care of myself before an “event” occurs, like heart or something, and I’m forced into a bad situation.
My kids are grown, but no grandkids, yet. I want and need to do everything within my control, like diet and exercise, to be here for my family for as long as I can. My dad and brother both passed at age 65. And I also want to avoid taking medications. The side effects alone are enough to scare anybody half to death.

I am presently 55 years old and a fair bit overweight. From what I see the 24/7 Fat Loss System seems to be the one for me. I have started trying the paced training with walking only and have lost 4 pounds in the last week alone. Just by walking fast for 45 seconds and slowing down for the next 15, and repeating.

The 24/7 fat loss system would be great for me because while I don’t have a lot of weight to lose, I want to take the weight off and keep it off. I have been using Cheat Your way Thin program for awhile. I have lost weight with it and then gained a small amount back. I have some medical issues that unfortunately limit the amount of physical exercise I can handle. I find certain plans work temporarily but can be overly restrictive with carbs etc. As a female in my forties, having a fat loss program that is truly manageable and works long term is exactly the “prescription” I need to help me move forward regardless of my physical limitations.

I would love to win this, because it seems no matter what I do, I just can’t seem to lose the fat. I have tried dieting and exercising, and nothing I do on my own works. I don’t know if this program works for those over 65 years of age. I’m not planning to do a lot of heavy weight lifting, or bodybuilding at my age. Is this program sustainable for ones entire long life?

I’m greatly intrigued by the program and the subtle details that you have already shared. I’m 36 and am in the best shape of my life, having implemented some of the strategies that you have already unveiled through years of my own trial and error. Yet I also know that trial and error is inferior to proven knowledge. I trust that I can sustain my current health through what I know and do, but I would like to be more efficient in maintaining and increasing my health goals. I don’t know if your system is the answer I’m looking for, but I am nevertheless interested in how it can propel my health forward.
I’m a fitness trainer without a specific nutrition background. My clients are usually post-therapy which means their workouts aren’t and can’t be the most intense thing you’ve ever seen. However, once they graduate from therapeutic exercises, a dose of MRT doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I’d like to be able to offer them more than a general nutritional program. Many of the problems my current clientèle face stems from excessive weight gain and while referring out to a nutritionist might sound like a great idea, that money is going right out the window for me. A certified nutritionist isn’t needed for the vast majority of my clientèle, but someone who specializes in fat loss is. I’d love to win your program. I have been on a running and interval training program for over a year now, with pretty good results. (several PR’s in races and loss of 30 lbs to date)
I am looking for the “last ten” as you put it, to go away, especially as I look forward to winter training for Spring races.
I’m a 52 yr old ex bodybuilder on disability, who has been trying to get back in shape after sustaining severe injuries in a motor vehicle accident and undergoing open heart surgery 3 yrs ago. I have a wife and daughter in China that I am trying to bring over to the US. I have been unable to maintain a consistent exercise routine for a long period of time, but my diet has been pretty clean. Regardless I have not been able to lose the weight gained after my accident and with my heart condition my doctors tell me I need to lose it. Anything that can help me burn fat for 24 hours straight can help me get my life and health back. My daughter is young and I am determined to be there for her through her childhood years.
Becuase there is a lot of information out there and often contradictory. Many programmes requiire a ridiculous change in personal lifestyle (major calorie restriction, hours in the gym, removal of all social life……) so aren’t my thing. I’m already eating healthily (according to some programmes), excercising sensibly (according to some) but whilst the results are good, they are still some results that aren’t coming. I want to finally get rid of thios beer belly I’ve been carrying for many years (even though I don’t drink beer or eat virtually any sweet foods). I want to have a plan that, whilst not necessarily easy, is practical in a busy life – and one that actually works!
I believe this program would be perfect for me because it is so straight forward and easy to understand. I have had some health problems that lead me to take steroids for my condition and I have just blown up like a balloon and cannot seem to get the fat off. I am now off the steroids.
