I am 49 years old and as a NYC firefighter injuries have taken toll on my body. I eat well and have followed different types of plans. Some worked to a point, but i could never get over the top. I am in fairly good shape but at this point in life that’s just not good enough. I want to drop body fat and weight. I work in a young man’s job. As you get older you need to step up your game and be the best you can be. As I read the the 24/7 report, I thought to myself maybe i’m not putting it together right I feel this program could be a way of life to putting it all together.
I served 12 years in the Marine Corps, 3 years of that as a Marine Corps Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor with 1 tour in combat. After my tour in Iraq in 2006-2007, I decided to pursue some entrepreneur opportunities outside of the Corps.
I found myself involved in the fitness industry because when I was a Senior Drill Instructor, a movie director was embedded with my platoon and film a documentary called “Ears, Open. Eyeballs, Click.” Through this film, men and women from around the world have come to corollate me as a subject matter expert. That led to an influx of phone calls, emails, request, etc. looking for guidance when it comes to the military, getting fit and losing weight.
I currently own and run a fitness program called MDI 8 (MDI8.com). We train communities to get fit through military style instruction that involve Metabolic Resistance Training through body weight and resistance bands. We incorporate circuit/interval type training with incomplete recovery into all of our workouts to help people tap into their Metabolic Deficit. Based out of San Diego, Ca., we have plans in place to stand up MDI 8 locations nationwide.
With over 16 years of physical fitness, education and training, the one area that is still foggy would be the nutrition aspect. This program could allow me to solidity our program to make a greater impact across the US. At the end of the day, that’s what it is all about.

I am a 56 yr old grandmother of two young grandsons and would love to be able to romp and play with them. I am 5 ft tall and used to weight 104 lbs and then menopause crept up on me and I now weigh 132 lbs. Would love to see the “old” me again. I tell people all the time that I’ll be “little” again some day and they just laugh. I would love to prove to them that it can be done. I think I might be able to prove them all wrong with the help of your program. I’m hoping that it’ll be able to help me balance out my hormones.
To me, your program is not about looking great, or flat abs, or a toned body, or dropping clothing sizes. Although these things can be the result of determination and following a great plan, I strongly believe its ENTIRELY about HEALTH: getting well, feeling well, and remaining mobile.

I have suffered through cancer twice in my life and even lost a leg in the battle. Without intervention, I’m sure my life would now be over. I understand how it feels to be sick and unable. I understand that life is precious. Perhaps all of our stories are similar. With so much information available to all of us, much of it conflicting (or absolutely ridiculous), we continue to search for that one program that will finally make the difference. The search is frustrating, but the alternative (stop searching or give up) is unacceptable. I am not looking for a quick fix; they don’t work. I want a healthy, logical solution. I am changing my outlook, changing my focus and ultimately changing my body. I am working hard to stay focused and accountable. I have begun a group exercise program with a personal trainer and truthfully, it is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself!! The changes are beginning to show, although the scale is slow to move downward. This is a journey that I have begun. It is one step in front of the other, one clean meal at a time, and one more day of exercise that makes me stronger. It is belief in the fact that this is the right path to follow …clean eating, exercise, motivation, accountability and indomitable will. During the past few days I have tried some of your suggestions regarding food combining and the timing of these meals and I am amazed at the amount of energy I have. So do I want more? Absolutely! Thank you for sharing this information so far (and thanks to my trainer who initially linked me up to your emails!).
I am a 42 year old female with hashimoto’s disease. Although all my lab work at this time comes back normal, thanks to the meriad of medication, I am still not myself and having great difficulty losing weight. I am 5/9, 249 pounds as of this morning. This is extremely frustrating because when I got married 18 years ago I was 155 pounds. I very much want to make my 15 year old extremely athletic son proud of me and return to the sexy woman my husband married.
I have done some great things for my health in the last 2 years, I mean GREAT. As a 44 year old mother of a 4 year old, I was ¬– I thought – beyond hope. At 5’2” I weighed nearly 170. I had daily body aches and joint pain, would get winded by a flight of stairs and was depressed beyond belief that my little girl was stuck with an “old woman” for a mom.
Today, I weigh 135-140, 27% BMI, am highly active and eat very little in the way of processed foods. So why do I need this program now? Because my body is still working against me instead of “for” me. I know that I have the right components but I cannot tie it all together. I read all the blogs and I keep moving and lifting and running, watch what I eat, I even invented a “power protein breakfast cookie” for my now 6 year old – and I am still missing something.

I am a 55 year old grandma with guardianship of our 2 grandkids, age 3 and 5. Both kids have special needs, so I am on the go to appointments all the time. My blood pressure is up, my energy level is down and I feel awful most of the time because I look so awful. I have lost quite a bit of weight in the past year, but gained 15 of it back:( I am also still quite flabby despite increasing my exercise (pilates, hot yoga, strength training, walking). I am getting older and it is harder to get this weight off …. Gym isnt working, diet isnt working… I need something to get me back down to a acceptable weight so that I do not get the health problem of being over weight!
I’m 53 years old and 2-1/2 years ago was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My doctor keeps telling me if I can lose 30-40 lbs and reduce my waist line I may be able to reduce or elliminate the medication I currently have to take. Wow! What great reply’s. I will be 74 this December and would like to lose another 20 lbs. I receive so many emails from difference sources, it hard to choose a program. Being 52 years old and having lost 40 pounds and being stuck there for 3 months, I do believe your 24/7 fat loss program is the answer to my prayers. This is a must have for me!! I have tried many times to cut off extra fat and have always fallen short – knowledge is power! I have been battling hypertension and high cholesterol and desperately need to trim my midsection. I’m not overly heavy but definately need help with the remaining pounds. I have tried everything under the sun and spent a lot of money trying to lose weight. Since I turned 40 my metabolism has really slowed down and when I hit 50, it seems that I can’t lose any weight. I am pretty disgusted with the way my body looks now. Since I am an “older” woman.. I have a real problem with belly and waist fat. I have never had a problem there and don’t know how to deal with it. I would love to get a jump start with your program to lose 50 pds and get back to feeling good and looking good!
