I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life. I love my parents dearly and I know they raised their children the best they could with limited resources; unfortunately, nutrition and exercise where never a part of their parenting priorities. Now, as a middle-aged adult, I’ve tried just about every program imaginable, looking for that magic combination of exercise and nutrition that would finally work for me. I watch what I eat and hit the gym at least three times per week. I’ve done this for the last 10 years …with limited results for the amount of effort I’m putting into it. I just feel like my metabolism is completely out of whack because it has no idea what it’s supposed to be doing! And with all this time I put in at the gym …I should look like a professional body builder by now! My husband is very supportive, but he knows how frustrated I am with it all. I’m 53 years old and have never had a weight problem until menopause. Since then I’ve gained ten pounds per year. I’ve lost and then I regain. It always comes back in the stomach area first then my thighs. I want to be able to keep it off for good. I need to know why and how. Help!

Easy: I read every article you and Craig send out, chew it thoroughly, digest all the details, and put it all in to action and spread your gospel to others. I’ve been implementing the C+P in the morning and P+F in the evening and metcon-type workouts to the best of my abilities, but I need the cliff-notes to guarantee I’m doing it right. Between TT & Extreme Fat Loss, I lost 20 lbs; now I need to get shredded for life and tell everyone how I did it!!!

I have struggled with weight all my life. I have tried so many different diet programs and some worked .. for a time.. but the weight always came back. Pills, starvation diets, Atkins.. you name it. I even had gastric bypass 7 years ago. I lost over 100 pounds and was down to 214 and felt great.. until the weight crept back up again. I regained about 50 pounds and I feel it with every step and with every breath. I still don’t eat a lot but my metabolism is so slow that I feel like my body holds on to every calorie I consume. I need to learn how to make my body a fat burning body and regain my health. I am 55 but I feel like I am 85 at times because I have no energy and I have to drag myself out of bed in the mornings. My back hurts, my feet hurt.. the weight is taking its toll on my mobility. I love what I have read so far about protein, carbs, and fat. Knowledge is power and I need the knowledge in this program so I can take control of my health. The combination of diet and exercise in this program will help me retrain my body to do what it was meant to do!

My husband is a long distance driver. He has gained over 50 lbs over the years since we’ve met. He gets discouraged quickly because even though he does exercise when he gets home, and eats relatively well, it doesn’t support him throughout the week. He’s starting to have high blood pressure and is on very strong medication for his psoriatic arthritis. There is the possibility that a wheel chair is in his future because of his condition. I want to keep him out of this wheel chair for as long as I can and hopefully he can avoid it all together. Your weight loss and workout system is something he really needs to try.

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in your lifestyle changing 24/7 system. I’ve not been intentionally physically active until I was 52 years old. Weight up and down (big gaps!) since I was 10. Took “control” when I experienced major depression in early 50’s, when I also had lived with hypertension for 25 years and arthritis of the knees for 15. At 57 it’s time to take control again. While I belong to a gym, I’m not in a position to hire personal trainers. My challenges have been in understanding, planning and implementing exercise and nutrition plans. Your program can provide an understanding of these concepts and give me guidance; provide feedback and motivation, through your website and what social networking and support with others in the program, which I assume will be part of the program. I’ve been working out for years and have hit the dreaded plateau. Nothing seems to be working anymore. I know that the 24/7 Fat Loss system will help me finally get past that hump and get me the results I’ve been chasing for so long.

I would like to find ONE diet/fitness program that I can put my trust in that will provide real lasting results. There are so many diets out there that it is hard to tell what is real and what isn’t. I have tried just about everything that has come out. Weight Watchers, The Zone, Atkins, Food Lovers, South Beach and too many more to mention. I have been trying for 20 years now to lose this excess body fat. I have hit a setpoint that refuses to budge. I exercise daily, tried food restriction, tried eating 6 mini meals and I still have NO successes. I’m frustrated and would just like to finally attain my goals. I’m a 55 year old menopausal woman. This program is essential to everyone. This is not for the stereotypical meathead, gym rat. Nutritional science/knowledge is 90% (or more) of the battle (and victory) in reaching physical goals. This is not a diet program, it is a lifestyle change and commitment. When people learn the cause and effect, rules and consequences of the right/wrong combinations of what to eat, when to eat, what your body needs, what will have adverse, negative results, etc. along with the optimal types of exercise (that doesn’t cause one to waste a lot of time spinning his/her wheels, yet never getting results), the success is automatic. I was told by the doctor that I need to lose 120 lbs..my pressure is up and I am very close to being a diabetic. I have tried diets and they work for a little while, but then I fall back into old routines…I really need something that will keep me interested and also help me lose the belly fat.

I have struggled with my weight my whole life. At my heaviest I was almost 250 lbs. I did manage to get down to 125 lbs ( I’m 5″6). I am now up to almost 140. I turned 40 this year, both my parents have cancer and I am trying to look after them, as well as my spouse was killed in an accident a few years ago so needless to say, this has taken its toll on me physically and emotionally so the weight has started to creep back on again. I exercise regularly and enjoy it; but I don’t know how to eat and train properly. I am constantly on a quest for reliable information on what I should be eating and how I should be training in order to maintain my weight. I would binge (because one plan said you need to eat more and exercise less )and purge (because another said you need to eat less and exercise more) constantly which is hard on my body. I would love to find something that I can follow in my day to day life easily and will work for me for the rest of my life.

I have tried all the diets out there and have not been able to lose my belly fat. I am becoming so frustrated I am seriously considering surgery. Your ideas give me hope that I will not have to undergo this desperate procedure.

My wife and I have both been wanting to lose some weight, become more active, and start eating healthier. Unfortunately, due to school and work time is at a premium we just haven’t been able to make the plan that we need to follow and thus don’t really know where to start. So your step-by-step plan is exactly what we have been looking for and unable to make for ourselves.

I turn 50 in a few days, and after hearing for the past decade: “that’s how it is when you get older” for everything from aches/pains to weight gain, I decided to take control and get fit again. I am way too young to resign to an unfit/unhealthy life (and hope I will never do that again.) My husband, who is 9 years older, is following my lead and looks better than he has since I met him 15 years ago. My kids make me so proud. I want to return the favor and be a great/healthy grandmother to their children when the time comes.

Getting my physical health back has become my new priority after having achieved my two-year sobriety mark this month. After suffering through years of horrible bondage to alcoholism, I am desperate to put right all the wrongs my addiction has done to my poor body. (Alcohol = sugar, sugar and more sugar) I have my mental and spiritual well-being in order and getting physically healthy would so add to my everyday joy of being alive, sober and happy. I am intrigued with your program and ready to apply myself to its success as diligently as I have to my sobriety.

I need to lose 50 lbs the doctor says. Then maybe I can get rid of some of the medication I take. I would also like to lose this weight so I would feel better about myself. If I learned it now I would be less fat to worry about the rest of my life. I do excerise but I can not seem to lose where I really need to.
