From spending the last 3.5 years at college, I have learned the importance of including science in any exercise/nutritional program. A few years ago, I discovered that I was allergic to certain foods. Having struggled with my weight for most of my life, and finally getting to a point where I was starting to get comfortable, I spent the next 2 years going through both a physical and emotional rollercoaster as we tested all the food groups and individual foods to determine what I could and could not eat. These foods impact my weight, health and psychological ability to mange day to day tasks. Since then I have spent the last couple of years now trying to get comfortable with my body (and mind) again on a much more restricted diet (lifestyle), but have not really succeeded.
Why do I think this program will work over all the others? You’ve already eliminated most of the foods I can’t eat anyway. While I now have a good idea of what foods I can and can’t eat but I have no idea how to combine them to optimize fat loss.
I feel the scrutiny and judgment every day of being different from other people, and on top of that I add pressure to myself worrying about if something I am eating is going to make me fatter or inhibit my fat loss.
I’d really like to stop worrying about these things, start even understanding more about the food I eat and how it affects me, and start feeling better about myself.

I am 53, about 25 lbs overweight, in need of some major motivation. I am borderline diabetic, blood sugar just won’t go down. Dr. says I need to lose weight and lose body fat. Hi Joel. Hi Craig. I am 43 years old. Trying to stay fit and healthy is very hard with the amount of soft choices avaliable. Junk food is everywhere and usually cheaper. I have been ill for the last 3 or so months but i am still walking. It just means i have gained quite a tummy over that period and i have always had a difficult time in getting the tummy fat to leave. Good knowledge and application of good knowledge seems to be the key. I really enjoyed reading about what the program offers esp the recipies. I also have a 10 yr old daughter and whilst things are humming at the moment i really would like to improve my fitnes and core. I want her to see that it can be fun getting fit. I want to learn how to get the 24 hr fat burning body and i know i can with the scientific background to the information. Congratulations on creating the program and may you both continue to inspire.
I’ve read all the info on how hormones either help or hurt my fat loss efforts but i don’t have the capabilities to put it together for myself for my benefit.

My wife divorced me and took my son away because I am not type of guy she want. She want a guy who looks fit and slim and have better stamina. This has made me crumble and fall to the ground.. I am one hundered percent consistent with my training (although I have recently realised that the WAY I was training was actually pretty ineffective) now that I have changed the way I train I am for the first and only time in 15 yrs starting to see the beginnings of change in my body – HOWEVER…I know that diet/food is a major issue for me, something I have struggled with for years. Hi im audrey I love that ur helping people understand how to lose weight the rite way. Id love to have a copy. I’ve been stuck at my weight & i’ve tried everything. I have fibromyalga along with as lot of other problems medically but I feel like giving up im soooo frustrated I don’t know what else to do or were to turn for help. But im determind to do it I love worken out & eating healthy. I cut out gluton frutose syrup caffeeine if its not natural I don’t eat it that helps with my fibro. This program has come along at the perfect time for me. I am struggling with weight gain and weight loss since the age of 15! I am 33 now and the main reason this is happening is because I missed my periods and I have to take contraceptive pills and every time I use them I gain weight unfortunately. Now, I am using contraceptive pills and although I have learned a great deal about nutrition and wellness along the way, at this point of my life, after having my first child, I find myself in a position not being able to lose weight at all. My personal experience is that counting calories is not the answer. Though there may be variations due to age, gender, lifestyle, routine etc, people have some things in common such as the kind of exercise they do, the frequency of exercise, the time of exercise with regard to meals, and the combination of foods they eat. When I lived overseas I was skinny. When I travel I lose weight but eat well. Some reasons for this are the kind of food, the quantity of food, the exercise I get overseas, and the social environment. It’s tough for me to replicate all those things at the same time. This program seems to do that.
Ever since I was a kid, I have had belly fat, which as a teenager was complemented by love handles, and despite my being very mindful of my nutrition or so I thought, but no exercise, so I became skinny fat as a young adult. Now I have taken up weightlifting for the last 8 years and through on and off periods some off time due to sports related injury, I have managed to be in better shape, but still hold on to the stubborn belly fat!
