What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I had a baby 3 years ago and am still trying to lose the baby weight, my stomach still thinks it’s pregnant and is still 2 dress sizes bigger than the rest of me, so to lose it would be great as it makes me feel sluggish, so looking forward to more energy too :)

I am 5’4 1/2 ” tall and have recently ballooned up 20 pounds to 156 pounds. I am very disappointed that this has happened, but am having a difficult time getting motivated and staying motivated to lose those pounds again.
My goals are to :
1. Weigh between 130 and 135
2. Have more endurance
3. Develop a toned body
4. Maintain the weight by eating healthy foods

I’m 21 years old and 6’2 in height. Currently weighting 208 lbs, my goal is to lose 20 pounds of fat and gain at least 30 pounds of lean muscle, thus, bringing my overall weight up. I also want to have a six pack for the first time in my life.

I am a 43 year old mother of 5. I would love to go from 148.5 pounds to 135 pounds and would love to lose 5 inches off my waist. I want to race motocross next season and to be able to succeed in that I need to be in better shape. I am 43 years old and would like to look nice for my 44th b-day. They say for a female over 40 it is hard to lose the weight but with the help of the XFLD I WILL be able to hit my goals. I have issues with workouts because I have had a really bad knee since I was 18 and it has always bothered me. Now that I am a bit heavier(ok quite a bit) it is even worse.

I’m 31, female, 5’5″ and weigh 165lbs. I’d like to lose 35 lbs. I’ve always been active and have good muscle tone in my arms and legs. I carry my extra weight mostly around the middle. I’d like to trim the fat from my stomach and keep toning the rest. I would LOVE to be there by November 1. Just in time to show off for the holidays! :)

My husband and I are in the third cycle of your Extreme Fat loss program. We are determined to loose those last 10 lbs we were each carrying. During our last Fast Day we also rode our bikes for 40 miles. The fat is melting off. The Fast day is a killer day in the program but we are seeing dramatic results!!!

I am 51 years old, 62 inches tall, 170 lbs and feel terrible. My goal is to lose 30 lbs in 16 weeks and a total of 45 lbs in all. I am going on a Carribbean cruise in 16 weeks and I want to look and feel great. I’m not going to be the only person in a “granny swimsuit”. I want to be firm and slim and healthly!

Hi Joel

Oh to be back where I used to be…… a distant memory. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. The goal is to be looking trim and healthy in 16 weeks time as my husband and I are taking our first trip ever to the U.S.A. (minus children). I am 5’6″, 45 years old and weigh 71kg and could probably do with losing about 8kg. My ideal weight sits around 62 – 63kg and this is where I’d like to be again. My training is not a problem as I am focused about this and have a personal trainer to help. My biggest challenge is my diet – particularly giving up the wine. This has always been a bone of contention particularly when you live in New Zealand where we have some of the the best wines in the world haha! Give me strength Lord to succeed and not give in to temptation…..watch this space people I’m heading for 63kg.

I did your extreme fat loss the first time…incorrectly. Per usual, I ate too little, exercised too little and STILL took off 7 pounds.
HOWEVER, I am redoing it because though you don’t advocate doing it back to back, in my case it was sort of a dry run.
This time around I am amazed at the exercise results (I’m using Adam Steer’s body weight routine), with my stamina growing and muscles finally emerging. Today is Day 11, cheat day, with 14 more days to go. After that…my exit strategy is to use either yours or Mike Geary’s nutritional strategy while continuing on with Adam and Ryan’s shapeshifter program.
My ultimate weight goal is 111 (I’m 63 inches) and I’m 50, blessed with an amazing energy. I’m going to be fitting into all the outfits in my closet, get a slamming look so I can push for a director in Mary Kay, commit to 2 pages of writing on my books on corporate AMerica or my children’s books a day and have 13% body fat (I’m not sure if that is a little high..will be talking to you!) Eventually I want to go back to teaching fitness, get my book published, my blog (I was asked to do one, I didn’t think it up myself!) going and learn from Investools how to invest even in a crappy economy by November so by Christmas I can give away serious money to my causes. ANd commit to visiting some elderly and some sick kids to make them feel better.

My goal right now is to build muscle and get rid of that few pounds of belly fat. I’m in process, the belly fat is more difficult that I thought. I’ll get there though with determination.

After several major family crises in the last few months, my schedule is now full almost every minute until I fall into bed. Still managing my diet for the most part, but I have to figure out a new routine to fit in time for workouts. Not being able to work out regularly during all of this stress makes it worse.

My goals:

Week 1 – Find just one hour to examine and rearrange my schedule with WORKOUTS as one of the top 3 priorities.

Week 2 – 16 – Commit and begin workouts minimum of 3 days a week even during crazy time. If I can’t get in to see my trainer, figure out something else! Weight loss goal – 10-15 lbs over 16 weeks.

My goal is to lose 30 lbs. that i gained when i became ill and steroids were used as medicine, which , yes, did the trick to heal me, but made me fat in the process. Started this last year, lost 10 lbs right way and have kept it off, but deterred off the right path and haven’t lost any more. Need to be mindful also about building muscle back. My balance is affected from my time of illness, so I want to restore my health.

I would like to lose a minimim of 20 lbs and become toner!

I’m 4 feet, 10 inches tall, and I weigh 125 pounds, I want to lose 10 pounds of fat. I swim and play water polo, so I’m content with my amount of muscle, but I just want to get the fat off of my waist.

My goal is to lose 15 pounds over these next 16 weeks! Due to lack of exercise and overeating I have gained 15 pounds in the last three months. So now I gotta push myself harder to lose what I’ve gained and hopefully more.

Well, I want to loose around 16 pounds and define the entire thing. I have been working for the last 6 weeks and everything looks like going on fine. Of course sometimes it gets difficult because of many “reasons” -I meant “self-excuses”… you know… job, time, stress, etc. etc. etc.- but the real thing is that being healthy and looking good is a matter of self-comitment so, “with a little help of my friends” meaning all of you here, I WILL get there, yes or yes.

I hope to exercise and tone. I eat well, but I don’t make myself exercise so I just can’t lose the flab.

(1) Lose 21 lbs. of fat, replaced by 21 lbs. of muscle–not quite sure how to do that but “stepping into the water” anyway!
(2) Being faithful and wise steward of what finances I do have, which I KNOW will springboard me to…
(3) Being debt free little less than $70k; what the heck, shoot for the “moon!” Even if I miss, I’ll “land among the stars;” then I’ll shoot again! :D
(4) Last but not least, the above will provide the foundation for accelerating on the path of realizing the desires of my heart and turning my dreams into my destiny, turning my “wilderness” into my “wonderful!”

My day of reckoning is September 15, but I started on this mission January 11 by eating mostly organic and HII training MWF. I don’t have scales, but I’ve lost more than 2 inches around my waist so far. Since then I’ve increased my workout schedule to 5 days a week by swimming a 1/2 mile on T and Th. Wednesdays are my cheat days and I fast on Thursdays; this is week 6 of my accelerated program. I want to lose another 1.5 inches before judgment day.
