What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

By 31 October, I will :
* have created a pattern of regular, healthy eating that works with my lifestyle and metabolism ie. no more skipping meals all over the place
* fit comfortably into clothes 3 sizes down from my current size (Australian sizes are different, so I won’t bother posting them)
* be able to run all the way to the bus stop without even getting winded
* be flexible enough to do ALL the exercises in the shapeshifter program
finally, ultimately, and most importantly
* be happy and confident in my body.

I’ve already reached the body fat percentage and the shape that I like.. Now my goal is to gain conditioning strenght and endurance, so that I can stay in this shape but with harder and more performing muscle. I would like to improve my elasticity and my balance (these two seem to be my hardest goals to achieve)

This is the newest thing you’ll hear
Everybody talks about the guys with healthy joints or muscle
No body talks about non-surgical therapy and post-surgery therapy, and the most important, maintaining results if not increasing them

For example, knee injuries require exercises which grants:
#1 knee stability and muscle strength with the ability to tolerate the load of ‘all’ of:
the body
the daily activities “of the week”
the rough times, especially if he is a soccer player or so

#2 maintenance of that strength and load tolerance

#3 knee flexibility and mobility

#3 time, effort, amount of training per week which is sufficient, and leaves space for his job and his life, and his game — if he is a player

#4 availability
workouts which can be at home, so that he could workout any time in the day, any day in the week, no matter the weather, how far the gym is or how crowded, and time!

icepacks alternatives — if they exist

I want to lose 28lbs in 16 weeks, be fitter, able to run for longer and start to fit into some of my lovely clothes.

I’m currently 82kg and want to get to about 75kg and 12% body fat. Have to get rid of the little gut I’ve developed and get to a 31″ waist to look good for the Summer!

I would like to drop 30 pounds and look and feel great again.

I’m 165 (5’5) and weight 93,4kg (about 210 I guess), bf 38% (started at 45%), I’m obese but don’t look it. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to drop bf% by 8% – to be at 30%, any lower would be awesome – it took me 9 months to get to 38%!

I am 6’3″ 206 lbs just dipped under 20% bf having started out at 235 and 26.5% bf (as measured by tanita scales, also having 12 site poliquin testing by my ART specialist 20.8% by this method 4 weeks ago) Getting shoulder worked on so no chest shoulder work at minute only arms legs and back with cardio. Once shoulder suitably rehabbed redoing Joels rapid fat loss transformation with goal of getting to 190 but getting bf way down to 8 – 10% and building muscle back up, love that program Joel intensity is savage and legendary down our gym the looks I was getting (lightweights were getting pale faced just watching me go at it) Props to Vinnie man your conditioning in Stage shredded inspiring, hell I watch your dvds during my stupid o’clock in the morning cardio, made me even consider getting to that level and trying out for a show but the clock is against me, 2 weeks til 39 :-(

I’m in the 6th week of a 16 week plan already! My goal is to lose the last 15 pounds to reach my goal weight of 188 pounds. I’m 61yo, 6’4 and weigh 200 now, so my goal might be a little beyond my reach… but that helps keep it interesting.

I would like to lose 16lbs in 16 weeks, I think it can’t be that difficult! I have tried before and self sabotage stops me in my tracks so the spiral continues and my starting weight this time is my highest one yet. Help me to help myself.

Hi Joel,
I bought several plans over the past 4 months (25 lbs in 25 days, XFLD, the secret abs formula, double edged fat loss, the 21 metabolism boosting switches, and so on…) and since then, the noticeable change is that I get a lot of email from you, Rob and Dr. K! Cannot say I have made much progress in anything:-( My goal is to lose 30 lbs of fat, be strong and look toned. 17 weeks puts me at November 1 and I’ll be 63 then. Here’s hoping I’ll succeed along with so many who are making the public commitment :-)

I am 35 years old, 5’3″ and weight 118. My arms look great but I still have lower-body issues. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to shed the remaining fat on by butt and thighs and then build my glutes and hams.
