What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My goal is to lose 40lbs in 16 weeks, I go on holiday in 13 weeks so that will be a challenge in itself, but as long as I stabilise then and don’t gain I will be happy.

I’m 5 ft 5 & weight 9 stone 12 – I’d like to lose 12 pounds and need to lose mostly belly fat! I’m 48 so it’s harder than it used to be & have limited time to work out but walk a lot and do “interval” running on a trampoline 15 – 20 mins erery other day – need to do more!

Hi
I am nearly 40 so would like to lose about 25kg but don’t think I will lose that much in 16 weeks but even half that amount would be fine. I would also like to get fitter and more toned.

I think within 16 weeks it is realistic for me to lose at least 10kg, if not about 20 would be mindblowing and awesome! I’m not so fussed about the number specifically but more the appearance – I would like to see myself at 20kg lighter although with added muscle tone so possibly not as lightweight as I appear.

LOVE the 16 week goal! Fits nicely into my slightly longer term 6 month goal. In the next 16 weeks I WILL lose at least 26kgs. It’s not my end goal (which is to lose 40kg) but will see me well on the way.
I gained 30kg aftery first baby was born, then got pregnant again before I had the chance to lose the weight, gaining an additional 40kg (eek!).
I’ve lost 30kg already since second baby was born at end of Feb and have two big events happening at start of Dec – that’s my goal date and come hell or high water, I WILL GET THERE!!! That will be 70kg weightloss in 9 months – doing it all naturally (we can’t get any supplememtation here that would speed it up anyway!!).
Good luck to all on achieving their goals :-)

Have just had confirmed my right hip is scraping bone on bone and a an operation on my neck and collar bones has left my right shoulder very weak from tissue removal.
Hip means I can barely walk 120 yards without a a rest. Shoulder gives out after 4 pushups.
So no matter how carefully I eat I am gaining weight.

Hello, I am 28 year old female. 72kg, 5 foot 5 inches in height. I used to comfortably wear a size 10/12 but now i am a 12/14 mostly 14 and i hate it! I would like to get down to 60kg and be back into my size 10/12.

I train 4 times a week. I have a personal trainer who does cross fit style training with me. I run before this for 2000 meters and do a quick run after aswell (only 5 mins if i can)

Hi Joel, my goal is to get ready for a marathon, which takes place at the very beginning of October. So far I am at week 5 and 11 are ahead. Since I am not a long distance runner by nature but just a hobby sportsman, I do not want to get too skinny :-) but rather improve my endurance, whilst losing some extra fat will be just beneficial for me. With my current 186 cm/89 kg it should be enough to stay in good health.
For the next period I plan to add some muscles instead of fat, to foresee my future for 2012.

Hi – I am 47 and in quite good shape, thanks to Joel’s Extreme Fat Loss diet I lost the 8 lbs I needed to (not yet the other few that I’d really like to go), whilst gaining muscle. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to maintain it and improve my fitness. This morning I actually wanted a smoothie for breakfast, banana, and I even added some protein out of choice! I think that its as these lifestyle changes become second nature that long term goals will be easy. Thanks Joel – a maintenance programme please?

I have been training for the past 1.5 years doing both weights and interval training in order to lose fat and gain lean muscle. In the next 16 weeks I would like to increase muscle mass even more and to reduce my body fat to about 5% ( I’m about 13% right now)

Hi, I’m 26 – and in the next 16 weeks I am going to make some drastic life changes.
I sucessfully lost 5kgs last year after starting high intensity interval and watching my diet, I kept the weight off for 5 months, however it has started to creep back on despite working out 5-6 days a week.
In the next 16 weeks I will become a healthy, fit non-smoker and lose this weight again. My aim is to feel and look the best I ever have!
Thanks for the motivation, support and advice
