Hi there!
I am 30 years old, 172cm tall, and currently weigh 88kg (though I weighed 90.5kg at the beginning of the month so, that’s something I guess!). This is after 10 years of struggling, yo yo dieting, and completely missing out on my youth (highest weight around 110kg). My 16 week goal would be to drop at least 12kg, and lose at least 10cm from waist (and a lot everywhere else too! As an hourglass figure, I’m simply fat all over). My final goal is to reach 59kg, though if I can look fabulous with more muscle at a slightly higher weight, that would be fine too!

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.
Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

My goal is to lose 12 pounds of flab from around my middle, thighs and butt and I wanna do it fast. I am 25 and my upper body and face are ok but I have problem with my lower area and mid-section. The most problemetic area is my butt and with a 9-5 office job, I hardly get any opportunity to move around n that accelerates the butt growth : ((
I use to work out but due to my lower back problem I can’t do advance steps. No lunges, no step that puts stress on the lower back area..I wanna reduce my butt to 36”.Right now it’s 40 or 41: ((..

I don’t have a specific weight to achieve. I just want to be able to see a visible difference in my overall appearance. I want to gain lean muscle, and lose the flab, of course. But my real goal is to feel healthy, strong, and happy. I want to boost my self-esteem, inspire people, and enjoy my life. :)
I am 5’5″, 120 lbs and would like to gain muscle and lose 8-10% body fat. Currently I appear to be bloated (like I’m pregnant at times) and the fat is around my lower abdomen and my thighs.
I am 58 years old, 183 cm (about 5’11”) and currently weigh 97kg (about 213 lbs). I would like to get to 85kg and stay that way. It would be nice to be toned as well but not bulked.
I have sustained injuries over 30+ years in the military to my knees, shoulders and back which makes intensity training a little difficult but I do what I can when I can. I have been fit for all of my working life but now with age and a more sedentary office bound position my days are not as active as they used to be.

I want to tone up my rather flabby biggish arms and thighs and get rid of that tummy muffin …. helpppp. I have done your XFLD last month and had results that are great to start with , doing Flavia bodiliciuos program now.

In the next 16 weeks, I would like to get back on track as far as my weight and fitness goals. I’ve accomplished a lot since 2009, but have slipped back a bit since November of last year. I would like to find some muscle-building activities that I can actually stick with since I don’t really like just lifting weights. Depending on how that goes, I would like to get my weight down to the 160-165 lb range.

You say the right things for a lazy ‘gunna do’ woman like me Joel. I know what I want and that is to lose 15 kgs in 16 weeks. I have The best advice from you Joel. I have The best routine and lifestyle habits suggested. I HAVE NO EXCUSE anymore. 36 years, 165cm and 75kgs currently.
So here it is world, I am writing it down. I WILL, not just WANT to, but WILL lose 15kgs from this suffering body. I will be a healthier yummy mummy and look and feel the best ever.

I want to reduce my boy fat, fat around my middle, and drop 15 kgs. I would like to bring down my visceral fat from 8 to much less and reduce my metabolic age from 61 to much less.
I want to loose 10kg and tone my core. I’m doing pilates and yoga and following your great advise.

I am 41, 5′ 8″ 170 lbs (Was 189lbs). I go to the gym regularly in my lunch breaks, and since time is short I do classes – spinning, bodypump, circuits. I am starting to see results in terms of toning, but just do not seem to be losing my belly fat!!

My name is Sedrick and I have an athletic build for being 255lbs at 6ft. My goals for the next 16weeks is to get down to 225lbs and keep it there. The whole getting big thing is not for me anymore. I just want to be healthy and keep my muscularity. I also want to compete in my first marathon before it is all over with.
I’m 25 178cm 85kg. My goal in the next 16 weeks is to loose 6 kg while maintaining muscle mass. Also i would like to acheive a strengh increase of 15% in that time.

I have dropped from 24% to 16% bodyfat, and would like to maintain at 11-12%. Aiming for extra strong core, lean and ripped midsection – the rest is taking care of itself over time with training and diet. Definitely need female perspective, not just a generic male program (loved Flavia’s recent progam release!). Can you also include extra info on how to work underarm area (common female concern). thanks, Deborah (Australia)!!
I’ve really let things slip since I turned 30 six years ago. I was carrying about 15 kilos more than I should but since January this year I’ve been cheating my way thin and I’m down 8 kilos! I’m over half way to my goal – which I intend to reach by mid September when I go on a tropical holiday with my four sisters!
I want to look good in my bathing suit: tall, toned, tanned & thin.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is, through physical therapy and proper care, to get off my crutches from my grade 2 high ankle sprain. I also would like to drop that last 20 to 25 pounds, which I know will be tough since I will have to be extra careful about my work outs to not make my ankle any worse. I know it’s all an uphill battle, but I’ll just have to stay extra on point with my diet until I am able to get back in the gym.

I’m 6′ 2″, 245lbs, 10%bf, 40yrs old and want to be 252lbs at 8% in 16 weeks. I also want to return to my usual fitness level to break the over40 world record for 500m before the end of this year, so need to maintain some regular rowing training as part of my efforts to gain muscle and lose fat.
