What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I am a 31 year old, mother of four, teacher and student that has finally come to recognize that the biggest challenge I face in accomplishing this neededc change is consistency. I have lost weight, and then I gain it back. I say that I desire to be healthy yet time after time, purchase of healthy cookbook, and machines after purchase, I fail to implement consistently to obtain the results I claim I want. I do not seem to struggle in this lack of consistency in other areas such as teaching, learning, and eating unhealthy fast easy meals but…when it comes to healthy lifestyle changes (meals and activity levels), I consistently fail to stay consistent. I am not trying to complain or whine, just trying to seek others thoughts on how they conquer this beast of an issue.

I am 5’1″ and 190 lbs. I am always told that I don’t look that large but…that’s only because of a muscular frame.
Currently Plan to be
6 1/4 Wrist 6 1/4
12 1/4 Upper Arm 12
23 Inner Thigh 22
45 Hips 42
44 Stomach (Belly Button) 40
40 1/4 Under Breast 39
45 3/4 Breast 43
15 Neck 14
62 Tall

I would like to lose about 50 pounds or 4 inches off of my waist.

lose 20 pounds
build muscle and endurance
most importantly, combining exercise and an anti-inflammatory diet, strengthen not just my body but my immune system to be able to reduce as much as possible (with a goal of complete elimination) the amount of meds I am currently on battling an auto-immune disorder.
tall order, but I am determined to get back in competitive condition.

I am 175 lbs with 16% body fat. Goal is go down to 10% bodyfat with 165 lbs of lean and ripped body mass with 6 pack and beach-ready body! I am going to starting my new program starting tomorrow and going to be using the interval cardio technique Joel mentioned recently.

I would like to drop 2 dress sizes (from pushing 10 to a small 6). Done it before then my main source of exercise (my horse) was injured. Haven’t been able to ride for months and my body is showing it. Need to get back into shape in order to have a lean athletic body so I can be a strong and confident horseback rider once again!

I’m 174 cms and I’m currently weighting 90 kgs (I’m competing on MMA) so my goals are to loose body-fat (5 to 10 kg. in the next 16 weeks), change it into muscle (and obviously punching/kicking power and speed). My ultimate goal is to improve my health and get in shape for life :).

I’m 5’6 and about 155lbs. I was below 150 before the holidays.
I have a baby girl that just turned 5 months old. In the next 16
weeks I want to get in shape, drop 2 pants sizes atleast, be
energetic and healthy. I don’t want to have any problems
keeping up with my daughter!

I am 56 years old, male and have dropped 67 pounds in the last three months. Now I am working on building muscle mass and improving my muscle definition in my arms, chest, legs, and back. I have gained about 10 pounds of muscle in the last months, but I really want to improve this by at least 200 % in the next 4 months. I have reduced sugar intake by 95%, fats intake by 50%, and cut out junk food and soft drinks entirely. I am working hard at the gym 5 nights a week and eating lots of protein, fruit and veggies. My eating habits have completely changed in the last three months, and this, I think, will be the key to my success!

I weigh 70kgs, 40 years old, shiftworker ( 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) I have a reasonale diet, although not as good as it could be.

Over the next 16 weeks, I would like to see my weight inrease by 10 – 20kgs of muscle and loose maybe 5kgs of fat, I have a current body fat content of around 19% although I am by no means fat looking – just mainly around my waist which is only 34 inches anyway ! Like to get fat content down to about 8-10%, and I wanna see my abs, which I know are there, they’re just hidin’ !

To finally get a flat tummy and abs! Seems to be a constant battle. I’ve been told to take digestive enzymes to help my digestion but not sure that would help in the flat tummy stakes!

I’d like to get more muscle definition, strengthen my core a lot more and increase my chest press to around 80kg. I’ve already lost a good amount of fat and went from a 38-40 inch waist to a trim 32! I now want to get stronger.

I am turning 50 in 16 weeks. Perfect timing to meet my goal – to be fitter turning fifty than at any other time in my life. And I’m not in bad shape for my age either. Loving adding Flavia del monte’s Flavalicious daily workouts to my schedule for some extra toning to my usual gym classes. Also love Joel’s diet’s and am embarking on Extreme Fat Loss for the next 25 days. Here goes, roll on the big 5-0 ……..

Hi,

I’m 30 years old. My height is 182cm and weight 79kg. I want to reduce my body fat below 10% and gain as much muscle mass as possible. I want to build more lean muscle.

Looking to lose 20 lbs and re-hab my impinged and weak shoulder. Could use the extra energy too.

Mmmmm…I have to admit i’m “goal shy” because i’ve set and failed at achieving so many in my life that it’s less painful to just not have a goal.
But, just for kicks, I’ll say: my goal is to drop 20lbs in fat, 2-3 clothing sizes, increase lean muscle mass, massively improve strength and posture and sense of vitality/amount of energy; to feel confident and good inside my skin and body…And motivated to lose another 20 lbs in the 16 weeks after that!! (i’ve all but given up ever reaching my ideal weight/size, but in theory i need to lose about 60lbs to get there).
