What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Hi Joel, my name is Sarah. I purchased your system about 2-3 weeks ago. I am 31yrs old, 66 inches tall. I currently am on Dr.K’s inner circle DEFL for my fitness workouts. (I really like the fact that the time frame of working out is reasonable, as well as the fact that I don’t feel like I have to live in the gym 6 days a week! I am excited to see the results with your plan! (It is so doable- thank you for making it available!)

My goal in the next sixteen weeks is to drop 25lbs (get down to 130lbs) and to fit into size 6, drop fat and gain muscle, and be in great fitness shape for my military career- and score a perfect on my PT. Desire to tighten up all over!!!!

Hi I’m Lyana I currently weigh 173 lbs but I want to get down to about 150/155 lbs. I also want to tone up my lower body mainly thighs and hips. So this is my goal in the next 16 weeks.

I’ve noticed that almost everybody’s goals here have something to do with losing weight.

One thing that is key to realizing your goals is accepting that you are not going to fail. You have to have an extreme amount of confidence and willpower in order to get to where you want to go. It’s just like getting to that CEO position. You have to work extremely hard over a certain period of time in order to get there, depending on the chain of business you are in. It’s just like that. Simple, but hard… But entirely worth it.

Everybody here should try eating a lot of celery. While it does not actually have ‘negative calories’, a stick of celery only contains from 6-8 calories. Because of its high fiber content, it takes longer and the body has to work much harder to break it down. Therefore, the body burns more calories than it takes in when you ate the celery.

Also, it’s probably best to avoid heavy meats like beef and lamb. Chicken and turkeys (the white meat) is nice and light, has protein, and fills you up. Eat until you are 3/4 full, and wait a little before you think of grabbing that dessert. You might not be hungry for it after all!

I’m 31 and after having my 4th child I got stuck at 180lbs…yikes! My ultimate goal is to lose 50lbs. I’d like to lose at least 30lbs of it by the end of January. We’re going on a cruise and I am NOT going looking like this. I started a week before Thanksgiving and have already lost 13lbs. I love cheat your way thin!!

I will shed 5Kg in the next 16 weeks whilst still enjoying the foods that I love (on cheat days of course!).

I’m heading into my 60’s and want to see my abs before I die. I am aiming to get my BF% from 22 down to 15.

I needed to lose 8kg, I am on your Cheat Yourself THin diet and just love it. Been on it for 4 weeks now and have lost nearly 3.5kg. I am happy with a slow weightloss. I feel great, eat a lot but healthy. Love this diet.
My goal is to lose the rest of the weight in the next 16 weeks, to exercise at least 3 times a week, with light exercises on some of the other days.
I will do it, people are already commenting on my weightloss. Makes me happy!

My goal is to lose fat and gain muscle. I would like to lose 10-20lbs and not get caught up in a restricted diet!

I’ve been dieting on & off for years. I lose 5-10kg then gain it when I stop the
diets. I would like to lose 10kg. Right now I am 82kg.

At 51, body weight 208 but nagging 23% body fat although my abs are starting to peak through and definition in my upper body I need to refine diet, understand when and what nutrient intake to push through at least a 3% drop in fat and maybe get to around 195 to 198 leaner body weight

I’ve been yo-yoing between 190 and 240 pounds regularly for the past 20 years; I’ve been involved in numerous fitness activities and sports and recently I took up dance (all varieties) and would like to transform my body to be as close as I can to of a lean, super fit dancer. If I achieve my goals I’ll be well on my way, the technique, grace and balance will take longer. My goals are to get my weight down to 170 pounds (currently 217), body fat to 5% and increase my vertial leap to where I can at least touch the basketball rim (about 30 inches). I’ll turn 56 when 16 weeks are past, and that would be a great birthday present.

I really only need to lose about 3 more lbs. (I’ve already lost 5 on CYWT) just so I can fit into my size 6 clothes better!

I would like to lose another 20lbs of fat by end of summer particularly around the middle. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to lose at least 10lbs. It took me 15 years to gain this weight and it will take some time to lose it the healthy way. I would also like to tone up a little.

My goal is to burn 14 pounds of body fat while maintaining or increasing my lean muscle mass. I began the journey three weeks ago and have already burned 6 pounds. When I achieve my goal I will be getting new clothes in a size 4! CYWT totally rocks, Joel!!

I have finally had surgury on my left side,(well digestive system). I can not work on my abs a whole lot. But i am working on the upper half. I weigh 200lbs. and want(will) get down to 180 without my fat belly. After I get done with my treatments I can get with it 110%. So well see where I can get by 16 weeks.

Hi My ultimate goal is to lose enough to reach the recommended weight for my height, but I am still having difficulty keeping my balance after surgery that left me weak down my right-hand side. This makes it very difficult for me to do exercises unless they are chair-based, and I am unable to walk outdoors unless I am accompanied, and even then I need a walking stick. Although I am trying really hard, I dont seem to be doing at all well, infact I appear to have put on weight again in the past week. I am going to need a lot of motivation and self discipline but I am going to try that much harder, although I cant see myself achieving this in the next 16 weeks!

Hi Joel, My husband and I started your Cheat Your Way Thin program just before Thanksgiving. My goal is to get to 145 lbs, I now weight 153 lbs. My problem area is my lower abdomen, I am 61 yrs old and this seems to be the hardest area for me to loose the fat. We are doing a 3 day a week weight training and we are working your interval walking routine. My body fat is currently 33.4% and I would like to get to at least 25%. I am taking my program one day at a time and rejoice at every pound that I loose.

I’ve gained 50 pounds over the last two years. My goal is to lose at least half of that in the next 16 weeks, and to build lost muscle.

Reply  |  Quote

My goal between now to 1 April is to reduce my body fat percentage to 10% whilst improving my fitness level (and most importantly not get fat and unfit over Christmas!).

I need to lose 20 lbs. With your program I have lost 6. I was very frustrated because I was eating organic, healthy and exercising and just plateauing….yikes! Now I’m doing cheat days and they do seem to be helping and doing the 2 times of exercise on the 2 days after the cheat day and it seems to be helping. I’m committed to this last 14 lbs. and getting back to my norm.
