What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My goal is to lose the body fat and a few pounds and gain some muscle. Since I have entered into menopause, I have gained 5 pounds and extra fat around the middle. I”m changing up my workout routines and putting them in high gear. I’m hoping to be back in shape where I was 1 year ago.

My goal is to lose another 20 pounds, get strong and energetic, lost 9 since starting the 1000 calorie challenge, I’ve had challenges sticking with it. Just very busy, and caught a cold, over it now. I’m in training to participate in the Disney Princess Marathon Feb 27, 2011 for the Team in Training Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I’m 51, 5’4, 152 pounds.

I’m 20 years old and have recently lost a lot of fat and built a fair amount of muscle, now I’m stuck. I’d like to lose as much fat as possible, and at the same time get lean and bulk up a bit.

My plan is to increase my exercise program to 5 days a week. I plan to start using my BowFlex again and the treadmill as well as yoga and walking. I hope to lose at least 10 lbs.

I would like to lose 10-15 lbs. in the next 16 weeks and get rid of my little tummy pooch that I have. I currently weigh about 120 and would like to be in the 105-110 range. I would also like to build some muscle to make it easier to do everyday tasks.

I am a 38 year old mother of two teenagers and I was remembering when my oldest was born. At 5′ I weighed about 110 lbs when I got pregnant and gained 20lbs at delivery, by the time I left the hospital, I had lost 25 lbs. Now I don’t want to be that thin again, not with the muscular frame I am blessed (sometimes doesn’t feel that way) with. However, I would like to lose about 10-15 lbs, but more importantly I want to be healthy, look healthy and do the transformation in such a way that I can maintain it without extensive work, as I mentioned I am a mother of two teens, but I also have two jobs and a husband in college…time is not something I have a lot of. I want to be able to find a lifestyle that fits my time schedule along with the right balance of foods (which I believe I am beginning to get a good grip of) that I consume. In 16 weeks, I want to be the in-shape, healthy mom that I was when my oldest was born.

I’m 44 years old, and have two sons in their late teens. I’ve had difficulty with my metabolism and auto immune disorders for years, and have not been able to lose weight AND keep it off for years, even though I’ve been working out at least 4 days a week and eating healthy, whole foods, I am 120 pounds over where I should be to be at a healthy weight.

I’m starting to see a difference with rotating the low carb, low GI, high GI and cheat days. My energy is picking up again, and clothes are already looser.

I’m getting married in March. Over the next 16 weeks, I plan to work to lose 25 pounds of fat.

I’m turning 51 this month, 5′ 10″, medium boned, wgt 166lbs and on HCG diet but need to lose another 11lbs to be happy. We have plenty cause to celebrate this Christmas. My goal is to take more care over the Christmas period and then lose any flab and bloat gained using weight training because I want to stop dieting!; increase my metabolism in general; and add muscle definition. By Summer 2011 I want to feel fine wearing a swim suit.

My goal in the next 16 weeks is to lose at least 16 pounds which will put me within 10 pounds of my ultimate goal weight. To be at goal weight in 16 weeks would be wonderful but I want to be realistic. Another portion of my goal is to firm the flab especially on my upper arms and inner thighs. I don’t want to buff up but want to look/be firm and look healthy.

I am looking to gain more muscle tone. I workout now, but I am the type of person who needs variety so I am always varying my workouts. I had low energy for awhile, but I have figured out that it seems to be due to an acid-base imbalance of the blood. I read alot of health information and I have started taking a potassium supplement. Since I have started taking this potassium supplement I have noticed my energy level getting better. This will help me stick to my workouts better. I also have a problem with skipping breakfast. I am actively working on that since I know it will affect my energy level.
I am a massage therapist so I know the value of health and exercise. I am always looking to gain more knowledge. That is why I enjoy reading the information that people like you and Dr.K as well as alot of other people have to share.

Hello, at currently I am exspecting baby #3, so haven’t started a regular, active routine, however, after baby comes in February, and doctor’s ok. My plan is to eat healthy (which I have started now) and getting down to pre pregnancy weight, and being able to maintain a healthy weight to be active for my kids, and horse riding.

I would like to lose 8 lbs, be able to run 3miles non – stop, and increase my flexibility. I have been running this gall and have lost 4 lbs (although since Thanksgiving I’m afraid I may have gained a couple of pounds back)., I want to be able to increase my endurance so that I can sometime run a 5k. I also have started taking a PiYo (Pilates and yoga) class in addition to my normal strength training. I do notice improvement, but I have along way to go in terms of flexibility!

Hey, I started out over 3 months ago weighing about 245. I have been with Dr K., and gotten some good tips from him, and some of your other friends, Mr. Marion for one, and am happy to say that when I weighed yesterday, I was down to 178.8 pounds. It fluctuates, of course, especially since I have a problem with my gi system, and am no longer regular like I used to be, but I am going to see a doc for that. My main goal now, is to lose the last of the flab in the abdomen, so I can actually see my mucsles there, and build up muscle mass in my legs, shoulders, chest, back and arms. I got a lot of good tips from Jeff Anderson’s Optimum Anabolics and am still working on it. I have made good progress, but the hardes is still to come. I am a hard gainer and building muscle does not come easy for me. I will get there, though. By the way… you think 65 is cold??? It’s been 11 degrees when I go to the gym after work about midnight!
