What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My goals for 2011 AND BEYOND:
Drop 25 kg!! My height is 176 cm and currently I weigh 96.4 kg!

I also have a wish list of exercises I’m hoping to perform soon in the near future:

bodyweight dips, full push ups, full chin ups, fluid jump roping, rocking bodyweight get ups(no hands!) xplosive speedrunning, rope climbing and one-arm push ups!!!

And all of this with Piece of Mind too!!!

PS I know how much kg I can/will lose but how much muscle can you gain in for example 16 weeks? Is there such thing as a standard or is depending on many individual factors? Looking forward to your sincere answer! Thanks!

My 16 week aim is to reduce body fat from 19% to 10-12%, and to build upper body muscle and strength.

Hi Joel,
I weigh 67 kg at 5ft 8 ins. My immediate goal is to recover from the effects of a rather nasty motorbike accident 4 days ago. After that, I hope to put on some muscular bodyweight. Years ago, I used to weigh about 10 kg more, but it’s unlikely I’ll get back there at my age (80).

I need cut down my belly fat within 6 weeks and to loose 15kg. Mr Joel, what will I do to achieve it?

In 16 weeks my weight, fitness and eating habits will no longer consume most of my mental and emotional energy. Time for my life to be about something else! So, what that looks like in specific, measurable results is that I will be 185 lbs and continuing to expand and create fitness routines that work to maintain my new physique at least 3-4 times a week.

My 16 week goal is to lose 10lbs and get back into the gym. I don’t want to just lose weight but to be physically healthy with clean eating and exercise.

My goal over the next 16 weeks is to lose 32lbs of fat while retaining as much muscle as possible. I’m using your cheat your way thin program. Today is the first day that I add carbs back in so I’m kind of stressed and nervous and hope I’m doing everything right.

I’m 55, 5’10.5″, 166 lbs. I’ve been following you, Dr. K, Benson, and Roman for some time now. I’ve toned up pretty well, and lost about 12 pounds but I’m lacking the definition that I’ve been looking for in my arms, and then there’s this annoying pouch of fat that’s obscuring the other 4 packs of the 6 I’m looking for…and I know they’re there because I can feel them. If I had one goal it would be to lose that pouch. It can’t be more than a pound or two, so I don’t know whether it’s weight I need to lose or muscle I need to gain. That’s where you guys come in.

Joel, Welcome to Tampa (if you were not already here before the move-in to your new place) First, I want to say THANK YOU and Happy Holidays! I have lost over 20 lbs of fat since I began your 1000 calorie challenge in late September. You were not lying when you claimed it is possible to melt 2 or 3 pounds of fat in a week. I have only about 3 lbs left to kill, I am already in the best shape of my life, again THANK YOU!. My 16-week goal is to lose that last few lbs so my 8-pack abs pop out in 3D HD, ok that is my 4 week goal. My 16-week goal is to prepare and complete a triathlon (last one I did was in 1997) and then to continue competing throughout the year. Thank you for your incredible program and on-going advice. Peace, success and happiness to you and your family, Chris

My 16 week goal is to lose 30 lbs. I weigh 155 today, and want to be 125. I’m 43 years old and was able to drop 7 lbs since starting the Cheat Your Way Thin Diet on Thanksgiving….And YES I have cheat days and still lose weight!! Amazing since nothing really worked before. Yeah!

I would like to lose 20lbs especially around my mid section were I carry most of my excess baggage. Muscle toning is another on the list as well…..but I need to start moving more for that to happen.

I have achieved my first goal of losing 10kg before 13th December. I have lost fat rather than water or muscle and achieved my first goal in 15 weeks from 9 August 2010. I have lost further 1-1.5kg as I have gradually increased my food intake to maintenance level.
My second goal (18 weeks) is to maintain my fat loss over the period to January (3 weeks) and then from January 3, I will lose another 10kg in the following 15 weeks. I am 66 years old chronologically!
