My 16-week goal is to lose at least 50 lb. My ultimate goal is to lose 150 lb, almost half my body weight. With these goals, I could reach my goal weight in a year. But you gotta start with smaller goals and keep achieving. Beyond just weight, I want to get fit and healthy. I still can’t believe on a daily basis how deconditioned that I have let myself become. No more. Thanks for this chance for accountability, Joel.
Hi,i want to loose 8kgs and tone up in the next 16 weeks.
I want to lose 8 kgs in the next 16 weeks.
I want to lose 60 pounds of fat, tone muscles especially abs and thighs and drop at least 2 dress sizes. I hope that I can lose the majority, if not all, of the wieght in 16 weeks.
Hey!
I’m five foot one and I weigh 114.6lbs. My goal is 110lbs, but I just can’t seem to lose those five pounds. I love food, and balancing food is tough for me, but I do it. My father is slightly overweight and I do this so I can get him to work out and eat right with me (for his benefit, I know my body’s fine though).
I bike at least an hour a day (until I burn off 500 calories), and I do a lot of reps on small weights. I do heavy leg presses and lots of pushups.
I want to lose 3cm on my waistline, 5 cm on my thighs, and have a flat tummy.
My goal is to lose at least 10 pounds and tone up. My ultimate goal is to keep it off and reach a safe weight
My goal is to lose 2kg body fat and build more lovely, shapely muscles on my way to my first figure comp in May. I got so close in September, then just fell off the wagon and let everything slip. It’s going to be tough, but I want it so much I can taste it!
I hope I can loose 16 lbs. in 16 weeks. The reasons are numerous. I don’t think it is realistic for me to loose as much as a healthy person. I am 276 lbs and with various types of arthritis and auto-immune thyroid disease like OPHRAH; asthma and allergy problems and breathing problems, 52 years old, and often have infections; I am in a battle for my life. But I do feel optomistic this time; because I have a better idea of many ways of attaining some weight loss. I cannot do all the exercising for optimum weight loss, as you thought. But, I did keep my plan of 30 mins. exercise Monday, 20 minutes of 12 sets of hopping squats/lunge with back foot in the air/stationary squat 3 ways/stationary push up just about killed me, and some ten minutes of cushion step/running/ lifting my leg backwards from the bed. After that I had to stay in bed for the rest of the evening, and the next day my tummy was really sore – (core) – but it felt sick sore. I was going to do it again today but thought I was still too sore to do it again. I plan to do it tomorrow, or alternate with arm weights exercises etc. My goal is 3x’s a week. But every day I am having a 2 min. cold shower after the hot one, and trying an alternative day with protein powder drink and veggie meal at lunch/ lots of good healthy food and suppliments, and hope to gain muscle gradually; unless it is impossible with my illness. But I hope it will all have an effect, and I hope I will be able to increase my exercises/reps/in-between day movement, until one day, I will be able to loose more than half my weight. Do you think it is possible? I want to lose 150 lbs., but not quickly. Most of the people on this list do not need to lose as much as I do. 16 lbs from 150 is not that much. I cannot go on an extremely unreasonable diet again. Diets don’t work. Neither does exercise, if someone gets sicker or disabled. Let’s hope that I will learn more, and God will bless my efforts.
Hi Joel, I am 30 years old and weght 72 kg at a 173cm height but i want to weight 65 kg period! this is my goal! Last time i’ve measured myself was 24% body fat and I want to get to 15%…wonder am i too daring? I want this sooo bad that im starting to obsess about it! I dont consider myself unfit tho’, have a good healthy diet, have a nice workout regime thanks to 1000 calorie workouts but it’s just my middle part( waist, butt, hips) hold most of the fat , it doesn’t look pretty:) and drives me mad.
I have been overweight my entire life. I am almost 60 and have never been this heavy. I need to lose 80 lbs. I overeat and love my sweets. I need to learn to be not so lazy and exercise.
Hi,
I am 35 years old. My height is 160 cms and I weigh 65 kgs. I d want to get down to 55kgs and build some muscle. I easily feel tired and i know its due to lack of exercise coz when i exercise even for two days i can tell the difference. Big problem is i procrastinate too much i need to get over that as well if i am to achieve my ideal weight.
A flat belly. And muscled arms
My 16-week goal is to get rid off 22 pounds, continue with my 45 to 75 minutes per day of cardio, five days a week. I plan to strengthen my core and get more flexible. My son and one of my daughters tell me I need to work out with weights a couple of days a week to build more muscle mass. They have convinced me that building muscles will rev up my metabolism and help me lose weight. I have four college age children who love to tell me what to do! My 22-year old son told me about this program. He is looking great, but I am more than 30 years older. I have a high school reunion in LA next July 16, 2011, to get ready for!!!
Hi Joel
I am 43 years old 173cm tall, weight 73kg and bodyfat 14%. I want to build lean muscle and my bodyfat below 10%. Can you give me some advise on pre and post workout meals, I am currently using shakes and not solid foods is that ok.
Thanks
I’m 42 and weigh in at 192 lbs and 26.2% bodyfat. In 16 weeks, through a combination of the 1000 Calorie Challenge workouts together with Cheat Your Way Thin, I plan to get down to 157 lbs with around 10% bodyfat. There, I’ve put it out there!
To lose 40lbs and tone my body , mainly upper body, hip and waist.
I’m 160cm and weigh 60kg. My BF is at 22%. Am working to bring that down to 15% and around 56kg if I can. K
My goal is to weigh under 100kg for the first time in years by the end of March 2011, which is exactly 16 weeks. Obviously I will keep going after that. I’d be happy with a weight of 75kg in the long term.
Hi
Currently 97kgs. Would like to drop abut 5% bodyfat on the tanita scales (presently at about 20%), which equates to about 5kgs.
I am 70 and am seriously overweight. I have lost 10 pounds and several inches since I started Isobel’s programme a few months ago. I would like to lose another 10 pounds in the next 16 weeks. I find this quite difficult during this extreme cold winter in England. I am not able to participate in exercise.
