Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.
Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?
What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?
I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.
Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them. Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”
Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.
(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)
Talk to you in the comments section!
Joel
P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Thanks for the proverbial kick up the butt. I have just got back from a dive trip and I had trouble getting into my wetsuit! Yikes! Determined to lose at least 8 kgs but going thru menopause and writing a film script which requires sitting in front of the computer for hours isn’t helping much. Everytime I walk into the bathroom on the way are barbells and a chair – I do 15 squats with weights and when I am standing waiting for the kettle to boil, I do bench presses. Other than that – there is the rower and the exercise bike when I need a break from writing and because of all the rain, roadworks shovelling gravel on our acreage. I pinkie promise to try harder.

I am 51 years old, 1.8 m tall and weigh 87 kg. My ultimate goal is to lose 9 or 10 kg. I do cardio four days a week at the gym but want to start weight training to bulk down rather than bulk up, in other words go for definition rather than muscle bulk. It seems difficult to get an expert opinion on how to go about the latter …
Hey, Joel! I planned to lose at least 5 kgs for starters and a few inches at my legs and thighs. hoping your advice works :)
Turning 59 on 27 Dec is frightening! I have fought all my life yo-yoing with my weight. I am 157cm tall and weigh 87.6kg. Enough!!!! I would like to get rid of 30kg of body fat….which I think is quite ambitious for the next 16 weeks, but what the heck, if there’s nothing to aim for what’s the point? It seems that every time I’ve managed to shift 10kg or more, something happens in my head and kapow, back up I go…despite having said I will never let it happen again. Well this time, once and for all, it’s going to stay off. I’m so sick and tired of being overweight!
My goal is to lose 15 pounds in the next 16 weeks so that I can lose the 35 pounds needed to wrestle at 152’s next year.
When the Doctor Clears Me to be able to exercize and work out again,

Currently, I’m OVER 200 lbs. since My Car Accident (Rear Ended) and
am 6′ tall…
Won’t be able to do much for the next 2 months, however, and the
wait and inability to do much is just driving Me UP a Wall!
Thanks.

I am 20, 155cm, 53kg, 26.5% BF. I want to lose the “freshmen 15 and flab” and regain my fitness. University life is busy especially with all the extra commitments and it gets so easy to slack off…my goal is to lose the flab and fat, maintain at 46kg and 21% BF. Currently, I exercise 20 minutes a day, or swim for 45 minutes, and walk for about 20 minutes a day (to class).
My ultimate goal is to see the lowest weight I have ever weighed as an adult, that was 184lbs, I am currently at 262lbs, down from 305lbs. However, it has taken me a year to lose the 43 lbs. I have lost that through some hit and miss efforts, I am still trying to dial-in what I need to do. My 16 week goal is to lose 32lbs, really pushing me towards my goal.
