Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?
What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I want to lose the extra 8-10 kgs that seem to be sticking to me. I am 185cm and i currently weigh 108.5kg. By losing this extra bit my muscles will looked toned and that is what im after at 44
I have been so busy with helping ppl with their own plans that I have slowly forgotten my own passion my own goals…I am getting back on track the first week of January I start. I will lose the 10 lbs of body fat I have gained recently and I will gain 10-20lbs of lean muscle that I have lost and will be aware of all the foods I eat and will also give myself rewards IF I know my body deserves it. I have been a mentor for so many Latina women in my town…I say this humbly and it feels awesome to give these women hope. 41 here I come.
I would like to loose about 15 lbs in the next 16 weeks. I am 5’4″ and weigh 136 lbs I actually would like to get to 20% body fat currently I am at 25% I have built a lot of muscle over the past few years but have a good layer of fat over them I feel like I work to hard to be this squishy. I know it’s my diet I eat pretty good throughout the day then in the evening my diet falls apart. Eating convenient foods to late at night.
My goal is to lose 20 pounds, reduce my waist size and get rid of the belly fat I am carrying since quitting smoking. I exercise 3-5 times a week, depending on my other commitments, but may have to step it up and be more devoted to the exercise to achieve these goals.
My 16 week goal is to lose 30 lbs & commit to exercising 5 x a week!
G’day.
Yes I’m an Aussie, I’m 182cm tall and I weigh 77kg, currently on about 12% BF, my waist is resonably OK at 28 inches. I would like to reach single digit BF in the next 16 weeks while gaining muscle size all over especially on my deltoids. Over the past 12months the majority of my resistance training has been high repetition training 15-20 reps minimum. As of today I have decided to change to lower rep range 8-10 reps and heavier weights on all execises.
Recover from a knee injury sustained at word (and subsequent surgery) to actualluy START DOING something about the bodyshape and size instead of just reading how to go about it. Rock on time…. so that I, too, can join the elite team and tell of results… real soon!!
Okay, so here it is….. this time last year I was down 19lbs and just a few measley lbs away from my goal weight. I then I had a couple of “up” weeks and it completely threw me off. My confidence in my program and my support network totally crumbled and with no immediate successes in sight I felt myself emotionally and mentally give up. My goal is to retrieve my motivation and confidence. I want to lose 10lbs in the next 16 weeks and I want to feel organized and in control while I am doing it. I want to reconnect with my energetic self and believe that I am worth it.
So there you go: 10lbs in 16 weeks through nutrition and exercise. A coordinated plan of attack.
I need a Goal !! I have lost 32kgs in the last year and at present have reached a standstill and need motivation to keep going. I need the next 16 weeks to show me that I can still do it.
My ultimate goal is to drop down to a body fat level of 7% even if it’s only for one day! I just want to see what I look like totally shredded! I currently workout 5-6 days a week and eat quite good. I’ve been as low as 10%, but that was quite awhile back. Currently I’m at 19% body fat, and have pretty much retained my physique (bodybuilder) for the last 10 years. Now just looking to improve at age 46!!!!
I’m 48 and long story but have just got back into training the last few months. I have lost a lot of muscle and gained flab. I’m certainly heading in the right direction and have lost 14 pounds in 8 weeks. My goal in 16 weeks is to lose another 10 pounds of fat and then start building lean muscle.
16 Weeks: down to 185 from 198. 15% body fat down to 9%. Help my son be the best student and wrestler he can be at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, CA.

My goal is to get to the gym at least 5 days per week (get some other exercise on those days when traveling) increasing my strength and flexibility, and stick with my eating plan to improve my overall health and increase my bone density. I expect to lose 10 more pounds during the next 16 weeks.
I want to lose 65 pounds and gain muscle. I want to live my healthiest possible and swim and run with my grandchildren this summer.
I would like to lose at least 20-25 lbs and then stay there for the rest of my life.
I have to do it by diet because I live in constant pain that makes it very difficult to exercise. I am 67 and weigh 145 lb. In May 2008 I weighed 123.
I want to lose 40 pounds total. I am terrible about exercising, though–I have no motivation, other than wanting to look and feel better, that is!! It’s a struggle because right now I’m busier than ever, not just because of the holidays. I want to try to lose weight, though, and not put it off any longer.
My goal over the next 16 weeks is to trim my waistline, drop from 215 to 205 substituting lean muscle mass for fat stores, improve my VO2 max and my anaerobic capacity and, hopefully, increase my flexibility at the same time.
I’m 5’9″, 212 lbs, 48 yrs old. I’m aiming to lose 40lbs in 16 weeks. That way I’ll be ready for my vacation and family reunion. I’m not trying for a body-builder body at my age, but I expect to increase my muscle definition and just feel better.
I am 66 years old and things are going slower now… I am making my goal of 25 lbs to move off this body .. mainly in the top of the thighs and the waist…. In the next 16 weeks I my goal is to stay consistent with your help and be a victor over this body… (I was 206 now 186 ) Instead of gaining over the coming holidays I will be loosing and start the new year looking like a new person,, 10 lbs off at the start of 2011 will be a major victory.. 1
My goal is to lose belly fat and gain muscle especially in my upper body. Right now I weight 130 lbs at 5’2”…Not sure what the best weight for me is except, I know I want to see the belly go. I’ve been 120 lbs but still had a belly, it’s yucky!
I will implement what I’ve read in your blogs. I will do the 3 days on and 2 days off eating style, train 3 days intense, intervals and up-hill alternate days.
