What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I would like to lose as much of the 50 pounds that I need to lose as I can

At 54 years old, my current weight is 250 pounds @ 6’2″. I would like to lose as much fat as necessary to get under 10% body fat. If I can build more muscle, I won’t have to lose as much fat to meet the percentage goal.

Need to get my 35″ waist down to 30″. My weight down to 130Lbs. Build my muscles back up (every thing is flab now that I am out of Hospital). Am on a strict liquid diet right now and you can’t make muscle out of water. I need to get a regimen going that I can stick to. Hard to excercise alone and keep to it. I will get my weight down and my muscle mass up but I don’t know eactly when. I ‘ll just keep tracking the best I can.

Well, this one will probably get lost in the maze of comments as well, but….

I have enjoyed reading the tips and suggestions and this has managed to get my head back into the mind-set that it takes to stick with it — I hope. First week went well, not hungry, didn’t wish to eat — found I now have a problem with eating ENOUGH to keep headaches at bay… what’s with this?

Had to find ways to up my intake without triggering my previous mind-set, which would definitely take me in the wrong direction.

Had a question though…. haven’t done any of the actual exercises suggested here because I have been multi-directional walking with a group at work every day. I normally do 2-5 miles daily and wondered what your opinion of the multi-directional walking would be if you were to view one of the DVD’s we follow. (Leslie Sansome) The DVD does switch up the routines and several other employees have also provided DVD’s so that we have a variety to follow.

Thank you for all YOU have provided!

I am 160 lbs. Cannot believe that! I plan to lose at least 35 lbs of fat and gain some muscle/definition again. I would like to find a 24″ waist that is hiding under the 32″ one I am carrying around with me. Also, how about 34″ hips instead of 42″ …. I was a size 6 just 8 yrs ago and plan to get there again and look forward to clothes shopping again.

Hi. Im 5ft 3 inches and am 140 pounds. I want to lose 20 pounds of fat but dont mind adding extra pounds of lean muscle. I want to find a ftness programme and eating plan that I can stick to rather than just do it for a few weeks. I want a lifestyle plan not a diet!

Great post Joel,

I think we can all benefit by constantly revisiting our goals, monitoring our progress, and adjusting how we’re going to reach it.

My goal is to get my body fat down another 3%, while maintaining as much muscle mass as possible.
