What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My goals are 80 kg of bodyweight and 5-7% body fat. I’m currently @74 kg and 11% body fat, so to reach that goal I would have to gain 8 kg of LBM and lose 3-4 kg of body fat. Being 175 cm tall (5’9″) I would consider that as a good body.

Hi… I would love to lose 60 pounds. Since I am 62, it is hard for me to exercise and I have arthritis everywhere.

Hola, I took some time to be with my dad in his final months and lost focus on my own need for really clean foods and a lean, toned body. Started XFLD on Saturday and am committed to losing 18 lb with a body composition improvement to reduce bodyfat by at least 5%. My stretch goal is 7%.

I’m 39yrs old, 172cm tall & 66Kg… My weight has been yo-yoing for like ever.. I could get down to 60Kg and look reasonably nice but the truth is, because it’s covered in clothes.. I’ve never had a tone body, my belly has been & getting even more flabby & soft, like jello, so are my thighs..my buttocks are basically non-existence, I mean flat, like a airport runway..and my calf totally looked like those of a bodybuilder, a male bodybuilder, they are simply huge.. my upper body gives me less problem. Recently I notices that piece of skin dangling & swinging below my arm when i lift them up to wave bye-bye, but 2 weeks of doing weight i can see them toning up already, just need to be consistent.. So basically ‘m asking for “”HEEELPPP!” on the lower part of my body…
I subscribed to quite a number of workout sites but realized that most workout plans are design for a male body.. Some don’t even acknowledged my e-mail requesting for some stuffs for women…

I’m a woman in my 50s, and my goals have to be reset after having a stroke on 11/30/09. I gained weight during my time in hospital (the food was surprisingly good) and during the time at home afterward that I was not very active. I became overweight, and at 5′ 5″, I now weigh 157 lb. I would really LOVE to get back to my original 139 lb, but losing 18 lb sounds scary, so I will settle for getting below 150 lb so that I am not overweight. I have been walking 4 miles a day (on weekdays) now for 3 months, and I have not lost any weight at all, so I guess I will have to weight train as well, or something. I don’t eat large amounts, so there is not much I can do to my diet.

I am a 29yr old woman with a seven yr old daughter and am GOING to lose 40-50lbs of weight gained after I had my daughter. I am 5’8 and currently weigh about 210lbs. I am not happy at this weight. I gained the weight while going through post-partum depression and eating sweets to make myself feel better! I am now eating better, gradded college as an RCA with honors, and am now working my butt off at two jobs in my new career and feeling great mentally. The weight is the last part of my life to be fixed that I am not happy with and that is why I decided to change it with help from all of you, my new friends!

My goal is to work towards the best me possible. I enjoy my TT workouts and try to push myself harder each time (since I always feel like I can go a little harder than I the previous workout), but I definitely need to focus on nutrition more. So, that’s my mission, to eat more “real” foods. If I cannot explain everything in the meal I’m eating, I probably don’t want to eat it. I don’t crave flour, it just seems to be in anything you try to buy premade now days, so I’m working on removing that last bit from my life. I’d love to lose the last bit of extra bodyfat, but I don’t know if that requires more muscle or less fat? We’ll see how this works. Whether I gain weight or lose it isn’t important, but how my body looks and feels is.

Ok so I weigh 140 and I’m 5’6″. By the end of this 16 weeks I am going to cut my weight by 15 lbs and lose 4% of fat. I used to be a fit queen when I was in high school, but that freshman 15 snuck up on me, stupid excuse right? Yes! It was entirely my fault. And now I’m whippin’ my healthy butt back into sexy shape HEYA!

I did not write this. Why is my avatar on it?

Hey Joel,

I want to drop 5% body fat and preserve as much muscle as possible while doing so. Putting some muscle on would be great but I have to be realistic.

I’m 6’0 and 192 pounds. I’m trying to get from 16% BF down to 10-12% over the course of the plan. I’d also like to gain a few pounds of pure muscle! I’m willing to work very hard and can’t wait to start!

I will drop by bodyweight from 187 to 172lbs and my BF to below 10% within 16 weeks.

I tend to store my fat in my midesction and lower body. My goal is to get my body fat % down from 17% to 12%, low enough to see definition especially on my abs and thighs!

At age 75 this gets a little harder to do, but goal is to be 179 from 197 today and have body fat down to 16 %. Not sure where that number is last time checked it ws 22%.
