I currently weigh 127lbs and I am 5’1″ tall. My goal is to lose 10lbs for the summer. I have difficulty finishing most programs I start please help me stay on track!!

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.
Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?
What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?
I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Hello all…I am 38 yrs old….and I have never ever been satisfied with my body. I am trying to lose 10-15 pounds to get to “my” ideal weight & would like the firm thighs and abs back in my tummy…right now I weigh 142. I have 3 boys…..and a full time job.

I have struggles with a lifetime of weight topping the scale at just shy of 300. I am finally conquiring it, SLOWER and STEADILY!I am now at 258. My recent goal is to complete a 30 mile horse endurance ride in October 2010. This sounds easy “the horse does all the work” right? Not really. The rider posts the whole time, and may even have to dismount and runn along with the horse. It can be a very good workout for both the horse and rider.
Then i plan to get into skinnier-sexy jeans for my husband ;). I will suceed and stay skinny and healthy!

So let me join the millions of Americans with a weight problem..That being said my weight loss goal is >100 lbs. I am trying to convert the excercises in the Phat Loss Furnace to a “Bow Flex” Machine. Yes it has sat dormant in my basement for many years- Somedays I stare at it and wish that it would all just come together……
I am 61, 6′ 1″, and 292 lbs. I am also out of shape. My goal for the next six weeks is to loss 25 pounds by walking daily, going to the gym 4 times a week, and reducing my “snacking” in the evening.
My ultimate goal is to be a healthy weight (175 lb range), be eating well and very active each day with a flexible, strong body and consistent body awareness.

Karen – I think you and I have the exact same goals!
However, my more immediate goal is to lose 15 lbs. by July 23, 2010, which is my sister’s wedding and I’m the maid of honor.
My goal is to get down to 215 lbs (lose about 10 more lbs) and develop more muscle. My next birthday I turn 50 (half a century) and I want to be able to wear the same size jeans I wore when I was 25 (34 waist).
To burn 55lbs and return in athletic shape.
I’ve dieted all my life and now I want to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with the shape of what I see looking back. My goal is to drop 10% bodyfat….that’s not get to 10% but to drop 10%….and keep at or below my weight of 205. It is no longer about huge size and massive muscle, but instead about proportion, being healthy and looking YOUR best…not someone else’s definition of it.
My goal is to get to about 160lbs by August (with the help of Mike Geary and Joel) so I can start looking for my wedding dress!
I WILL lose 10 lbs and gain strength with increased endurance. Total= increased boat speed+ beating my friend Paul (finally)
Well, my goal is to get ripped by the end of september (to my honeymoon). I´ll start your XFLD on July 12. If it goes well and i lose all the fat i want (i’m 15% BF), that’s it, but if i don’t, i’ll keep the lost weight for 5 weeks and then do another round. Until July, i’ll just pack on food and train Vince style.
P.S. Tell Vince i wish him the best in life. I’m already married and i think it’s just great. I have a very good life with my wife and that’s all i wish for him.

I would like to look good naked! To do this, I would like to continue losing those last 15 stubborn baby pounds. I’m currently doing Dr. K’s prgram and following the Extreme Fat Loss diet. All’s going great!

I am a 47 year old woman.
In 2004, I was involved in an accident and have been on some pretty serious pain killers over the past 6 years which has resulted in packing on an extra 12-15 pounds that I am having such a hard time losing.
In August 2010, I am going on a cruise and I really, really want to be back to 128 pounds by that time!
Goal: to go from a size 14 to a size 8. I’ll continue on to my end goal of size 6, but I could work with being a single-digit size by my wedding in late October.
16 week goals: Lose 30 pounds, get stronger (I’m a 200 pound weakling right now), be consistent with my workouts, and add vegetables to every meal.
I just turned 40 I’m 5’7″194# my goal is to get down under 170 by the timeschool starts in the fall. I am a stroke survivor and paralyzed on most of my left side, because of this it is very dificult to achieve an effective cardio workout. Depression due to the stroke cause me to binge eat, often without realizing I’m doing it until it’s too late. I’m an incredibly picky eater which makes eating healthy virtualy imposible but I know that I depeately need to lose weight/body fat-I will feel so much better when I do. I need all the help I can get to reach my goal! Thanks forthe exciting program!
hey joel my goals are for to get lose 20-30 pounds of fat and gain about 5-10 pounds of muscle, get down to my goal weight of 170 with 10% of body fat and im currently on vince delmonts excellent program Maximize Your Muscle and i can say my trasformation is just gettting started, but with motivation and support i can do better :]
So far since the new year – from 190lb to 164 this AM. 12 more to go. Want to reach 152 for 64th birthday in Aug. More importantly want to be able to throw on my 50lb back pack, hike 10 mi. and NOT be a quivering puddle of body parts when I get there.
My goal is to lose 15 pounds and to tone my upper body and mid-section which is a bit flabby. I also want to get stronger to help me better do my job as an EMT (lifting heavy people, etc.)
I will loose the remaining 20 lbs of baby weight, and gain lean muscle.
