What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I’m a 45 yo mom of 4 great kiddos and have put on about 15 lbs of what “feels like” pure fat! :( I did the Body for Life plan about 12 years ago and did really well getting down to about 12% BF! We are a military family and we move alot. It seems, depending on where we are living at the time, currently the Azore Islands of Portugal, dictates how my fitness goals are maintained (or not). Sometimes convenience or the lack there of makes it difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle! My goal is to loose this layer of BF I’ve put on in the last 2 years and feel good in my skin again! For me that’s losing 15 lbs of BF and while building muscle… with a goal weight of 135 (I’m 67″ tall)

I am almost 61. I have been working out at a gym, doing water aerobics, Richard Simmons workouts, and hiking for five months. I brought my AIC from over 8.7 to 6.1. I am now off my blood pressure meds and have been for three months. I lost 24 pounds. I have a great gym routine and have a pretty good grasp on what and when I can eat to keep things under control except when my routine changes.

1. I need to create a morning routine that I can keep when I am not near the gym.

2. I need to create my own cookbook that I USE. I collected the recipes, but have not put them into a PLAN or a binder to prep meals on Sundays.

3. Loose 30 pounds.

4. Keep walking a minimum of 30 min a day or mini trampoline in addition to the gym.

5. Reintroduce my Eastern ethnic dance warm-up and routine three days a week.

6. Drop my AIC to 5.5

Hey Joel,
I currently weigh 250 pounds, am 5’8 1/2″….52 years old….and female. My goals are to lose at least 60 pounds (80 would be ideal). I don’t like dieting. I was a yo-yo dieter and thats how I got this heavy in the first place. So I started tweaking my lifestyle about 4 years ago. Each change has been a baby step toward a total transformation…..body and lifestyle. So far, I’ve lost 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks. I know its not much, but its a start and it tells me that my body has unlocked the potential to lose ALL the weight that I need to. My 16 week goal is to lose 30 pounds. I’ll keep you posted as to my progress.

Morning-
I just recently lost 11 pds on the Extreme Weight loss program and have transitioned to your Cheat Your Way Thin plan, so excited!! I use P90X for exercise and also run or do whatever to stay active. I want to continue to lose weight and gain muscle until I can look in the mirror and be proud of my body. The number I want to see on the scale is 140, so I need to lose about 20 pounds. But what I am really looking forward to, is to be able to do any type of activity without being out of breath, I want to be healthy, so the number to me doesnt matter as much.

Hi Joel
Well I finally got started on the XFLD 5 days ago. Today was weigh in day and surprisingly I am down 10 lbs. Kinda blew me away! My main goal is weight loss in the form of “ugly” fat. Started at 315lbs and want to get down to approx 220.
As I mentioned earlier I can’t do much exercise because of recent bilateral knee replacements, but I’m trying. Cheat day today and then off I go again!
Thanks for all the help

The I call it “starvation day” was a real bear, but did it

My goal is to lose 12 lb and gain nice lean muscle. Most of my excess weight is on my stomach-hate it!! Also a health risk.

My goal is to be able to see my abs, and to have no fat hanging around my bra or on my thighs. I think that I will be able to accomplish this by losing about 10 pounds of fat and gaining 3-5 pounds of muscle, however this is about the mirror not the scale. I will know I have succeeded when I see what I want to see.

Joel, I am a 62-year old woman who began following your “cheat your way thin” diet plan four months ago and am thrilled to say that I have lost 20 pounds. I have gone from a size 16 to a size 10-12 and am three pounds from my goal weight. My husband has followed the program with me and has never complained about the quality of the meals. He has lost 14 pounds and his blood pressure has gone down. Thank you for making this program available.

Over the summer (so I could make this 16 wks) I plan on increasing my body weight movements. I want to explode my pushup / pullup / dips / throwing in some hill sprints….I want to bring all those numbers up! I’m always trying to focus on my diet.

I really need to get fitter and lose about 100lbs of fat. I’m struggling with depression as a result of losing my job. A permement loss of vestibular system resulting in dizzyness, no balance and bouncing vision has made life very challaging these last few years. Getting fitter should help.

To keep my determination strong, stick to my work out routine and lose as much weight/fat as possible. To get leaner and stronger without too much bulk.
