What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

The other major goal of mine is to graduate from the kneeling push ups to the real thing.

My goal over the next 16 weeks, well actually, over the next 8 weeks is to get ready to compete in the city’s first ever strongwoman competition. I will be doing tire flip, chain drag, and clean and press to failure. And not just to compete, but to win it!!!!!!

I am really sick of your celebrity buzz. Can you even pass a mirror without admiring yourself? And all my previous attempts to send a message went to dead-end sites. Please delete me from your list of contacts/suckers/fans. I am making other arrangements.

My goal is to burn 18 pounds of body fat and return to my prepregnancy weight. I also will maintain or increase my lean body mass. My twins are 9 months old. Fitting in workouts and planning meals have been a major challenge to date.

@ Juhi:
Hey Joel, my goal is really to maintain my physique with my own variation of your CYWT lifestyle. I am doing excellently so far. I may attempt to shed a couple more pounds of fat later on but I am definitely satisfied with my bf% now thanks to CYWT, thank God I do definitely want to increase my strength levels though, so I may embark on somewhat of a muscle building phase soon. Thx a million for all your help over the last year. :) I seriously don’t think that I would be where I am now without your nutritional expertise.

Hi Joel, I am glad for this chance to comment. I have been following your program since I started my weight loss regime in June 2008, 2 yrs now. Though I have mixed and matched programs I believe yours have given me my flatter tummy after being 94.5kg. I have learnt a lot from your newsletter and the links and rather than just a diet, it is now a lifestyle. I do have my off days but I will not be that weight 2 yrs ago anymore. To date I have lost almost 30kg and I hover around 65-66kg now. I want to thank you and I am glad I came across your website. My next goal is to tone my body more especially my stomach which has bore 4 kids. Thanks you again.

Joel,

Mine were easy as they were already written down. I am in week two of a body transformation contest that lasts 14 weeks.

Total BW 1 week ago was 199 lbs at 15% BF.

That breaksdown as follows: 169 LBM and 30 lbs of Fat

The goal I will acheive over the next 14 weeks is to loose 20 lbs of Fat and 5 lbs of LBM.

Stats at the end of the 14 weeks will look like this.

Total BW 184 lbs, 174 lbs LBM and 10 lbs of Fat with a BF% of 5%. I will be shredded and crowned the champion of the BIG BURN.

In order for your goals to be affective they must be specific, measureable and have a timeline. Mine meets all these criteria, so now it’s just a matter of executing it to perfection.

16 weeks from today brings us to the end of September. I have about 30 lbs of excess fat around my mid section that I would love to have gone. I am considering a 1/2 Marathon the end of September, so that training will tie into this goal as well.

My 16-week goal is to loose 40 pounds of fat and train myself to be able to run at least 5Km.
