What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Hi Joel,
I just finished your Extreme Fat Loss diet and it was aewsome! I got rid of a lot of that stuborn belly fat but I’m not to the six pack stage yet. I was a bodybuilder back in my younger days but now I’m 53 years old and things don’t come as easily. My goal is to lose the rest of the fat off the abs, but my main concern is getting some size back. While your workouts were kick ass I felt like I was over training at times even thou once I got into the groove I really liked them. Lets put it this way I used to have 18″ arms and they are 15″ now so what are your suggestions for me that don’t include gaining fat?

Thanks
Don

I have lost 5 lbs already and I plan to loose another 5 lbs of body fat and continue to tone in the next 16 weeks.

I have 6 pounds left to get to my goal of 115 pounds. My desire ( I don’t even know if it’s possible) is to get what is left firmed up. Being old, I have the loose skin & wrinkles on my arms & other parts of body that is so ugly. My goal is to improve it as much as possible!

In 16 weeks, I will reduce my body fat by 5%. I will achieve this goal by adhering to the CWT program, weight training 5 times a week-specifically the day before Cheat and the 2 days following- as well as completing 5 cardio sessions per week. I will keep myself in a positive mind-set by writing this goal as an affirmation and speaking it daily: “I love how fit, strong, healthy and lean my body looks at 12% body fat. Working out feels great and I love eating healthy and nutritious foods to nourish my body.”

Hy Joel & Team

I have worked the XFLD to its max and lost quite some weight. I went from 110kg to 91kg (242 to 200pnds) in a good time period. I have even taken this diet one step further. My next 16 week challenge would be to reach a six-pack without burning away too much of my muscle. I would love to get a healthy looking physique, nice cut abs, and a good portion of muscle. Now I know that gaining muscle and loosing fat at the same time is difficult to do but there has to be a way. I am already quite lean, just want to take it a step further. I strongly believe you guys can help me out since you are all professional athletes who know what to do.

Kind regards
Johann

I’m 45 years old. By the end of the 16 weeks, my goal is to achieve losing 50, potentially 60 pounds, depending on what looks the healthiest. My goal is also to keep doing what I’m doing successfully ~ eating no sweets or flours, rice as my only grain, drinking plenty of water, and exercising in some way every day [I made these changes 1 1/2 weeks ago].

My Goal is to reduce BF 1lb a week and 1lb a week. Thats #16 of Fat and more than #16 total weight.

My goal is to get my weight from 153 to 145 and BF% from 25 to under 20.

my 16 week goal is to lose 2-3lbs per week so at least 32lbs in 16 weeks.
I gained 50lbs after a serious, life threatening illness a few years back due to lack of exercise, I used to teach martial arts, and a complete change in diet, I used to be gluten intolerant and ceased to be after having brain surgery. Crazy but true. So now I am trying to get back to my fighting weight and back in shape.

I am on day 7 of the 25 day Xtreme fat loss program. My goal is to get down to a size 12 in the next 16 weeks. I started at a size 20! I’m doing very well.

I already work out but I have been having problems with eating do deal with my stress. I think it’s good for me to be on a more structured plan right now.
I was 241 when I started and yesterday when I weighed myself before my free day I was 230.2! I think a lot of that was water weight from eating a lot of salty food over memorial day right before I started. But I know some of it was fat too, and I can already start to see some changes in my body.

Menopause came very early and the weight gain has snuck up on me. I’m not sure what I weight but, I’d like to wear the size 6 clothes I was wearing 2 years ago.

@ Tony:
I am 56 years old and a doctor by profession and is from India. My goal is to add one inch to my arm, two inches to my chest and reduce my waist by 5 inches.I workout 4 days a week with heavy weight and follow a high protein , low carb diet.

No specific weight goal, but I want to gain muscle mass and energy so I can be more active with my three children. We tend to only play in our backyard and I would like to do more biking and hiking with them and that reqires lots of energy being that they are 9, 7, and 3. My husband is 45 and that requires energy too :).

Joel,
Mine were easy as they are already written down. I am currently in week 2 of a 14 week transformation contest, that I fully intend to win. When I started the contest 1 week ago my total body weight was 199 lbs at 15% BF.

That breaks down as follows: 169 lbs LBM, 30 lbs Fat

Over the course of the next 14 weeks I will loose 20lbs of fat and gain 5 lbs of LBM.

After acheieving that goal my numbers will be as follows: Total body weight 184 lbs, 174 lbs LBM and 10 lbs fat with a BF% of 5%. I will be ripped to shreds and crowned champion of the 98 day BIG BURN.

In order to be affective goals have got to be specific, measureable and have a timeline. I have met all these requirements. Now it’s time to live them out. You can’t just put them on paper and expect them to happen. I have a plan and I’m executing it to perfection.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to lose 10 lbs. My official weigh-in day is tomorrow morning, and I suspect that I will be 153lbs, so I want to be 143lbs by September 28th. That’s 2.5lbs every 4 weeks, and a little less than a pound each week, making it totally doable even for my slow loser body.

My goal is take control of my life and my weight for good, I want to be healthy, more stamina to do the things I want to do in life, and to loose 30 lbs in 16 weeks, I want to do one thing better each day, choosing mini goals each day that will lead me to my goal of a healthy, strong body.
