What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Since starting my weight loss programme in November 2009, I’ve gone from 180lbs to 155lbs, and have lost 6 inches off my waist. I’ve hit a plateau lately, so it’s a good time for me to re-assess and set new goals… :)

I’m female, 40’s, 5’7″, currently 155lbs.

In 16 weeks I want to lose another 15lbs, while gaining / improving definition and muscle tone. I want to be able to see the muscle tone in my legs, and I want to lose that roll of flab around my waist and hips.

If I can push through this plateau, I know I can acheive this!

@ Nicki Liedberg:
Hi Nicki, I’m in the UK and I found protein shakes on http://www.myprotein.co.uk I have no idea if Joel would approve of them but when I compared the prograde with the my protein product it looks pretty much the same! They also have protein snack bars, hard to get through but handy for the protein depletion day to have as a standby. Hope that helps

Sixteen weeks from now I want to still be living a wellness lifestyle. I’m 50 years old and getting younger every day! I keep applying the wisdom of these diet and exercise experts to my daily routine. I’ve already lost 35 pounds 5 years ago and have kept it off. I would like to lose 20 more, but don’t really want to get a new wardrobe (might not even need one). As I cosistantly build and hone more muscles, my body fat will transform itself. Ultimately, I want to be healthy, more toned, and carrying a little less weight on my joints. But, overall, I feel very victorious that I entertain my life with wellness daily! In consistancy lies the virtue!

I’m 47 and terrified of middle aged spread! I want to get down a dress size and be comfortable there – no drifting back up to where I am now. I want to throw clothes on in the morning and not have to stress over covering my stomach.I want to wear leggings which means slimmer knees – at the moment they’re an extension of my thighs! I want to look at myself in the mirror and feel ok then walk tall with better posture and forget about my body and do something more interesting with my life. I’m about to do the fourth 5 day cycle, hadnt lost anything up until now, this morning I’ve lost a total of 2 1/2 inches – happy girl!

I am 50+. I’ve been using Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle as a core guide to burn fat and gain lean muscle. I am happy with my results.I just wish to express my appreciation for your group’s overall contribution to worldwide wellness through your free e-mail letters even if the give advice that is so varied and therefore difficult if one wanted to follow each and every peace of advice. I would like to firmly say without prejudice that the majority of your packages are in my view worth on the average 4 times their worth.

My goals for the next 16 weeks are to lose 40lbs. That would put me at a size 8. I would like to lose weight but gain muscle too. More important than anything is to develop good eating habits for a lifetime, not just 16 weeks. I’ve just turned 39 and I have vowed to myself to get fit and trim again before I turn 40. So 40 and fabulous here I come!!!

I am just nearing the end of Joel’s 5 cycle Xtreme fatloss diet, and although I haven’t followed all the workouts – but have been doing my own, less extreme version of weights plus the recommended cardio – I have lost about 14 pounds and am EXTREMELY chuffed with my new shape that is emerging! So for the next 16 weeks, I am inspired to continue to sculpt my body, and to lose the last 10 pounds on the CYWT programme, and get into the best shape of my life!

I just want to lose as much as I can nothing seemed to work, although I have cut out dairy using soya (great) and for past 3 weeks have not had and wheat or gluten (not so great). This has made some pounds vanish or is it hide for now? Have not been well so even a little walk is hard going. when I recover it will be easier, then all will click into place. I know I can do it.

Hi Joel,
My 16 week goals are: To gain 16 lbs of muscle weight, 1lbs a week and reduce my BF of 18% to under 7% BF, reduce 1% BF a week for the first 8 weeks to bring it down to 10% BF than 0.5% a week for the second set of weeks to bring it down to 6%. I am 43, at 5’7” and weigh 150lbs. I shared my goals with my colleagues at work and girl freinds, who can’t wait to see the results of having ripped abs. A few weeks back I was 20% BF and now 18 BF% my collegues and church freinds noticed me getting flat and been asking advice as what my diet is, what I have been doing. So from being your student, I am now becoming the teacher, which is very motivating to me to get more drastic results, so I can be an example to others and a motivation for them to get the same results. If I can do it, then they can and will do it. This Joel is my goal and my ripped abs plan to success. I will do it and succeed to achieve my goals, because I wrote up my plan. Plan your plan of goals and you will fulfill your plan. Thanks Joel for the inspiration to goal set.

As a 62 year old retired Marine with a life-long committment to fitness, I need to re-establish a solid baseline from which to maintain a high level of wellness. This program and some of the associated information available with it will be the means to that end. Eight weeks is my baseline goal.
